Great service! Love how they send you a video inspection of your car and looking at everything and explaining what is what. Appreciate the knowledgeable service advisor Todd that we have, can really go through suggestions and prioritize which is the most important thing to do and what you can wait with. Would be nice if you could hear him instead the jack-hammering in the background as the service department is IN THE SHOP. but we try nonetheless.

Friendly and fair! In a market full of arbitrary fees and up-charges, it is apparent that Ramsey Mazda values their customers' experience over their own profits. Eric was extremely helpful, direct, and easy to deal with over the phone. His priority was to find the best possible option for me as his customer, and we made a deal that I couldn't be happier with. A real breath of fresh air compared to the other dealerships I was shopping with. If you're looking for a Mazda, Ramsey will take great care of you.

Love my car, hate the experience. Had a great experience when I leased the car (thank you, Adonis). In fact, had such a good experience, that we came back from PA to purchase my wife's car (which is a different story, that experience was mediocre as well, and it turns out all 4 tires had dry rot at the time of purchase.lovely - though the service/sales teams did do the right thing when it came to that issue). Made an appointment to buy my lease out.
We had moved out of state and drove from PA for the appointment. Got there 5-10 minutes early. Met with our salesperson Willy first. After about a half hour of sitting and chatting/doing basically nothing related to the purchase of the vehicle with Willy (now a half hour after our scheduled appointment time), we asked when we would be getting the financing done. Willy informed us that Donovan, the finance guy, had taken another customer ahead of us despite our scheduled appointment time, and so now it would "be a while." This is going on almost an hour over our appointment time.
We asked Willy to get the manager, Mike, involved. 2 hours later Donovan was ready for us but was not ready to apologize for the wait. He had an extremely poor attitude. I could not believe the way we were treated - definitely not customer service at its finest, and not what I expected from this dealership we had previously had a good experience with.
But the disappointment doesn't stop there. Both Willy and Mike were very understanding on the day of purchase and tried to help. Mike generously offered complimentary all weather floor mats and tires at cost for the trouble. Floor mats arrived, every follow up I have made with Mike regarding the tires have gone unanswered and unacknowledged. If you can't honor the offer, fine no problem (though, seriously? why offer then?), but an acknowledgement of my follow up would be nice. Additionally, I confirmed with Willy that I would not need a PA license (as I did not have one yet) for the registration.
He said yes, no problem, NJ license is fine. Guess what? I needed a PA license. Title and registration was delayed because of COVID-19 (ok no problem, not their fault). Title department called me - further delays because I did not have a PA license. Have to give a shout out to Nabel in the title department - she was great to work with, very understanding of my frustration, and as soon as I got a PA license and she had everything she needed, I received plates/registration overnight in the mail.
On another review somewhere else on the interwebs, the dealership commented that the GM would be in touch - one week & counting, no reach out from the GM James Sabini, who I actually CC'd on a follow up e-mail to Mike A. Not super relevant and a moot point anyway, but if the car market wasn't what it was right now, I would have walked out and taken my money elsewhere. Can you blame me?

If I could leave no stars I would. An absolute hot mess over there. They sold us a car that had been sitting on the lot for quite awhile, and never checked over. The paperwork they gave us "showed" they had, BUT the car had a cracked windshield, the air filter was not changed, the tire rim was dented. We had to take the vehicle back to get these items handled, and now 2 months later. We're still waiting on the title (we paid cash) and the license plates.
They never returned our calls, or email and it's a disgrace. Our sales man told us this was a reputable company, I have yet to see it. Salesman: Willy Elkammary GM: James Sabini Title Clerk : Nabel Infante shame on you!

Exceptional service! Service department was in constant communication regarding my vehicle, sent texts and emails with a full video of everything that was completed as well as comments (example: air cabin filter does not need to be changed, tire pressure on each tire, etc) on my vehicle so I could physically see everything. WONDERFUL! I am BEYOND pleased with Ramsey Mazda! They have a customer for life!

4th Mazda I have leased from ROCKY. No hassle, no intense negotiation, I just get a good price when I walk in (payments always lower than other dealers). This is the only place where I have able to make a deal on my first visit. Sometimes I can even take the new car home that day. It is worth the drive for me from NY to NJ.

This review is for their service department and especially the great service I received from Marc. I had numerous issues with my vehicle which were covered under warranty with no problems. I was even given a loaner car during the time my car was being repaired. Marc treated me with respect, honesty and courtesy, and stayed in communication with me throughout the whole process. Now my car is running great and back to normal. Thank you!

Joe was amazing! I didn't feel pressured or rushed with anything. Everything was seamless. I've never felt more comfortable in a car dealership. Donovan from the finance department went above and beyond for me, and I'm grateful for all of their help. This place has an awesome team. Thank you for making my first car buying experience a great one! I love my CX-30.

As always, Marc of Ramsey Mazda was professional and honest. The new engine video to show the condition of the car is also pretty cool. My wait and drive to Ramsey has always been worth it because of the stellar service. I just had to wait extra long this time but Marc made sure we were given updates. Highly recommended!

Came for high pitched noise that went around 65mph+ and confirmed it through test drive. Second dealer I went to about it. They had my car for a week, but I suspect that all they did was open the door, reset the electronics, closed it and left it there for a few days. Promised a loaner but instead they returned my car to me and said they'd call corporate about my issue.
Never received a call or anything, no follow up, got ghosted. I guess it wasn't worth their time. I'm done with Mazda forever, thanks todd or tony, whoever that manager or whatever was for making sure I will never buy a freaking mazda again and have to deal with Mazda dealership games and bs. Sold it for a Hyundai and had a much better experience, go figure.

Been going to this dealership for years. Always great service and always leave feeling satisfied. Customer service is very helpful and I always feel comfortable during my service appointments. Also, the new video service feature of service appointments is amazing! It's nice to see my car and how it's doing, even if I know only a little bit about cars, it's very helpful and considerate to show their customers the service process!

Ramsey Mazda has fantastic customer servce! While looking for a new car, we visited many dealerships and Ramsey Mazda's customer service stands out. We worked with Brandon Rodriguez who was extremley professional, accomodating, and knowledgable. He was also a pleasure to work with - very patient, courteous and personable. Brandon made our experience with Mazda a terrific one and we would definitely work with him at Ramsey Mazda again!

So requesting an online quote isn't good enough. I did just that with the intention of leasing not 1, but 2 vehicles. But because I did't want to give out my number until I saw some sort of information on a vehicle, the only response I received was we don't do online quotes. Give us a number so we can call you. Very unprofessional. I'll be sure to spread the word about Ramsey Mazda.

I had a terrible experience with Joe. He quoted me at a ridiculous price and proceeded to tell me he doesn't "walk back and forth and do the numbers game". When I asked him why the price was so high when i was quoted much lower on a model that was only $2,000 less and that I could go get a luxury car for that price I was met with hostility and encouragement to leave and go do that.
I did just that! He was completely unprofessional, condescending, and beyond delusional. Avoid this dealership at all costs! I had a much more pleasant experience at Lodi where they know about customer service and fair deals!

My Nissan lease was almost over and wanted to step into a Mazda dealership to test drive the cx30 that caught my eye online. So went into this dealership and told them exactly the model and trim I was interested in. I'VE NEVER HAD ANYTHING ELSE THAN A NISSAN. So, all I wanted to do is test drive a car to get a feel of how it drove and see if I should switch.
I explained all of this to the salesperson and instead of trying to help me, he quickly rushed me out telling me that I should go back to nissan. Mind you, this is after I told him my reasonable budget being around 3k down and a 300-700 monthly payment. Instead of getting discouraged by a bad salesperson, I called the Mazda dealership of Lodi (the next closest one) and asked if I could test drive the cx30 of I went there.
They said yes and I went. When I finally got to speaking with someone face to face, and after telling them what I was interested and my budget, they told me to return when my lease was up and that I couldn't even test drive a car unless I was serious about buying it. That just seems like BS and lazy salesmanship so THAT'S when I made up my mind NEVER TO OWN A MAZDA. HORRIBLE SALESPEOPLE MAY BE A STRONG INDICATOR OF A HORRIBLE PRODUCT.

There are many Mazda dealerships in the metro New York area don't choose this one. I had communicated with the dealership through their internet sales team member who set an appointment for me to test drive a specific car they had advertised online. When I arrived the sales person they set the appointment with had no clue I was coming, no clue what car I was looking to test drive.
We walked outside to look at the cars I pointed out the car that I saw online first he tried to tell it was not the car because the ticket price was more than 1k then the internet price. I had to go as far as bring up the picture from the website to prove this was the car I wanted to test drive. He went inside to find the keys was gone for a long time, after what felt like a lifetime the sales person came out to tell me this car has already SOLD but he was going to show me another one (had none of the features I was looking for not that he would know because he didn't even ask).
They full on tried to Bait and Switch me. When I told him that was not what I was looking for and that I was very disappointed that I drove so far his response made no sense he commented on my looks saying I was such a beautiful lady something like that. If I was a man you would have never responded that way. So after driving the 40 minutes to come to this specific dealership I left not test driving one car.
This whole experience is just one of the many reasons it's so difficult as a women to buy a car. I drove over to another Mazda dealership the same day it was night and day that dealership had the car I requested waiting for me to drive the sales person treated me with the utmost respect and we made a deal I go pick the car up today. Save yourself the pain go buy your car somewhere else.

I had such an awful experience with every car dealership I went to except for Mazda. I worked with Rocky & Justin and they were the best. Not pushy at all and were willing to work with me. My CX-5 is amazing. So many features that I didn't even know existed. Rocky walked through the features step by step before I left with my car. Highly recommend working with Rocky!

Anyone who buys a car from this dealership, needs to have their head examined. Never got a call back from Ramsey auto group or Mazda Corp. They could care less. Letter I wrote to Mazda Corporate.after dealing with this dump My daughter has recently been test driving Mazda pre- owned cars (Mazda 6 grand touring). She's been to the Toms River NJ and Wayne NJ. dealership.
My wife and I were with her for most test drives and she loves the car. Today, she saw online a 2016 grand black grand touring 6 at Ramsey Mazda NJ. She asked me to go see it with her. Arriving at the dealership we located the car and was told to test drive it by the salesman. He asked my daughter for her license. I asked him if he needed mine, he said no.
I asked him if he needed to come with us, again the answer was no. He gave my daughter the keys and we headed onto RT 17 N. This is when things got really weird. As she was driving about for a mile, I told her to change lanes so as to make a u-turn and go back to the dealership, when a car whizzed past us on the right causing her to flinch. She then continued into the slow lane when the same car slowed down to get behind us then to our left. That's when we realized it was the salesman.
He was annoyed and waving and trying to run us off the road to pull over. We pulled into a fast food parking lot, letting the salesman pull along side. At this point he's yelling at her, "get out of the car!" Shocked, we had know idea what he was talking about. We pulled into a parking space. He started screaming, really annoyed. I looked at my daughter and said "what happened?' she answered, I don't know.
I get out of the passenger seat and he's yelling at us to get in the back seat of his car. I said "what is the matter?" He said 'Where are you going? baffled I said "what are you talking about?" He said "I told you to wait and follow me." Neither one of us heard him say that, at any time So now he makes us get in the back seat of his car, leaving the car in the fast food parking lot and drives away annoyed as hell. Saying to my daughter, " where were you going driving that fast?" She was driving with traffic, besides he past us on the right!
So now were in back of his car and he's screaming at us like we were stealing the car. At this point I had enough of his bullshit and told him to shut the fuck up. My daughter was getting upset. That's when he threatened to throw us out of the car. I said ' Yeah try it" Incredibly, this moron pulls over onto the shoulder of rt 17 S in traffic! and stops the car! That's when I realized, this guy is nuts.
Now my 20 year old daughter is in tears scared, I dialed 911. The Ramsey NJ police department have the police report and the 911 record. The cops couldn't arrest him on any charge and tried to make the excuse that the salesman said he had a mask on and that's why we didn't hear him, which is total bullshit, because he didn't have a mask on at the dealership and didn't have one on when he picked us up, plus he made us get in the car with him with no mask. "I'm a 66 year old retiree. worked 40 years for the same company.
My Daughter is a front line registered nurse at Morristown Hospital. I must have bought 15 cars in my life! Don't ever remember a salesman acting like this. I don't appreciate the way that lowlife treated my daughter or me. I'm forwarding this letter to the local better business bureau, The department of consumer affairs and possibly local and national news outlets plus every social media company.
This was a really bad first time car buying experience for a 20 year girl. I'm really pissed off how this happened! it was unnecessary. I have never owned or shopped for a Mazda before and this is my introduction into your company's operation. Not exactly sure what to make of it. It could have been handled much differently. Also, if it was just a misunderstanding, like the manager said, why didn't he let us drive the car back to the dealership? I'd like to hear your reaction to this. Thank you

Their salesman, Eric Taylor, I would give a 4: he was pleasant, led us through a long test-drive (allowing both myself and my partner a long drive on both, residential streets and the highway) and listened to our concerns. The sales manager, Eric Valentin, I would give a 1: he was curt and, except for the etch fee, did not budge on their fees. He insisted that the fees are non-negotiable although we repeated multiple times that we are well aware that only tax and motor vehicle fees are fixed.
In addition, they said the "non-taxes" was for motor vehicle (MV) fees which they "have no control over". When I specified that, as per MV website, the registration, title and plates should be ~$120, I asked for them to itemize it (as per law they should) and they did not. Fyi, additional fees as of 6/2020 are: Prep $499 Doc $469 Non-taxes $399 Etch $199 Total additional fees:$1,566 (non-mandatory/negotiable)

I actually bought a car from them, but I am not satisfied. From beginning to end I was not treated as a valued customer. My very first interaction with them was decent, but when I came back to actually buy the car I felt like I was treated like a nuisance by the salesperson (who was different from the first one) The business manager was nice enough but when the day came to pick up the car, even he was just going through the motions.
After my purchase I tried to get a hold of the business manager again because some work-related changes due to COVID-19 had me concerned about my purchase, and never heard back from him. Eventually I decided to reach out to one of the two sales people I talked to, who told me a Sales Manager would get back to me. No one ever did. Lastly, the day to pick up the tags came.
I arranged a time to meet with the salesperson I had interacted with the very first time (since their name is the one on the purchase order) When I got to the lot he was nowhere to be seen and it was his colleague (that I'd never met before) who helped me get them set up. All in all it was a fairly terrible experience. Nobody seemed to care one single bit about me as a customer even though I fairly quickly bought a car from them. Do not recommend.

The service team at this dealership is simply "outstanding!"- We purchased our 2016 Mazda CX-3 through another dealership, unfortunately. The service manager (who I believe is no longer there) at that OTHER dealership gave us false information about our front headlights having condensation on them. As our warranty was running out we again questioned this problem, only to be told we must have caused the problem.
That was never true. We even called Mazda Headquarters about this issue. We decided to give it a go again with Ramsey. Rob, the service manager heard our story and stepped up to solve the problem. They took care and replaced the front lights at no charge! AND, they cleaned our car inside and out! Krystal, our service advisor was wonderful as well! There is NO doubt we will be servicing our car here AND be buying our next Mazda here too! They are a fabulous dealership!

The worst dealer to deal with, if you will make a deal with this guys and have a problem with this bad Mazda cars they will not help you you going to deal with Mazda USA (own by FORD ) make a long story short, i least 2016 cx5 motor went bad after 13000 miles, i m paying the lease for 14 month and have no car, the car is by the Ramsey Mazda lot for over a year i am in curt, very bad experience. "don't walk in this dealership "

Absolutely stellar service by the staff and management. Never had a lease process go so smoothly and stress free. I would recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a Mazda, without hesitation. My sales consultant was Eric Taylor, and he did a tremendous job. I would recommend asking for him, too. I cannot speak highly enough about how pleasant this dealership made the lease process. It really was a welcome change.

I purchased a manual 2014 Mazda CX-5 earlier this month from Ramsey Mazda. I wanted to give them 5 stars, but the dealership left a bad taste in my mouth for several reasons. The salesman was new to the dealership and was unfortunately not very knowledgeable about the cars. We were able to strike a good deal, but in the end they still overcharged me by ~$200 in their additional fees. Unfortunately, I didn't see this error till after the papers were signed (my negligence). Secondly, I test drove the car with Kumho tires, but when the put "new tires" on my car they put cheep Solus tires on.
The Solus tires are rated extremely poor and when I complained, they spoke to me in a degrading manner belittling my concern. The only reason I did not return the car right then and there was because it was a manual transmission and they are extremely rare to find. Lastly, when Mazda sent me an email survey to fill out, it was address to the wrong person.
What other information have they entered incorrectly?! Between the poorly trained staff, unprofessional upper management, sneaky fees, and cheap "upgrades" I can unequivocally say I will never return to Ramsey Mazda nor would I refer them to my worst enemy.
