Excellent car buying experience! No ugly back and forth. No ridiculous waiting. Fair, friendly people who respect your time and want to make you happy. Chris made sure all of our questions were answered and that we were comfortable with all of the new features in the car. We look forward to our next experience at Ramsey Volvo.

The absolute mecca of car dealerships. I have had miserable experiences with my past two BMW and Volvo dealers, but this is my spot! These guys are organized, they can always get you a loaner, you can make reservations online, the communicate clearly, effectively and I actually trust them to get the job done. I will stay with Volvo for life if this level of service continues! All dealerships should aspire to this

My experience was absolutely perfect. Every time I've been there everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The service department guys are great. I always have fun talking with all of them. John (on the end of the desk) in the service department always takes care of my car service. He makes me feel like family. He is always so nice and goes out of his way to make sure everything is painless and perfect.

We were more than happy that we chose the Ramsey Volvo Service Department for our recent needs. We would have been seriously stuck if Ramsey Volvo hadn't helped us out. We didn't have an appointment pre scheduled as we came into the Ramsey Volvo Service Department, and they scheduled as soon as possible that same day and fixed our problem. We needed to resort to our insurance coverage purchased at anther dealer where we had had our car delivered.
The Ramsey Volvo service department not only fixed our problem, but they were able to find documentation listed for our coverage, and Ramsey was able to determine that we are covered. Everyone that helped us that day should be commended, elevated in rank, and be rewarded for their efforts which were clearly above and beyond expectations. This 2021 Volvo is under my wife's name, Patricia London.
This is Myles London, Patricia London's husband who was at the dealership that day with Patti and therefore I am responding to this request for comment on what we view as Excellent Service.

I've been a customer of Volvo Ramsey for more than 3 years and I love working with them. Danny Falk, in particular, is a fantastic person to work with. He has always been fair, respectful and has always advocated for me. This is my second lease with Volvo Cars Ramsey and I intend on being a long-term customer of theirs. Also the dealership is immaculate and whenever I have traveled there for service, wait times are very reasonable. Can't say enough good things about my experience there today. Thank you, Danny and Volvo Ramsey!

Bought my first Volvo from them a little over a year ago. Have been back for regular service since. These folks are THE BEST.you can truly feel confident if you are thinking about buying and/or servicing your vehicle with them. Top notch care, honesty, a willingness to help and always a comfortable experience when you visit the dealership/service center. Shoutout to Steve Coronato for helping with yesterday's service visit.so helpful and on top of everything!

I am a hospice volunteer and had patients to see the day of my visit at Ramsey Volvo. Unfortunately one of my tires was leaking air and after numerous attempts to get quick assistance at gas stations I had to call the service department and see if they could help. I spoke w Steve and then John who expedited my service to immediate status when he heard my plight. I received professional courteous service in a timely manner. I cannot tell you how relieved and grateful I was for their help. They are the best! Thank you so much!

Every one in Volvo Ramsey was kind, the service system was very convenient and environment was very clean. The top of everything is my service advisor, John! He was helping people with big smile, very caring, kind and working great. I also appreciate two workers there( I don't know their name) When I returned to John again after service to get help with my car play, John was so busy with other customers so the two workers were willing to come out to check with my apple car play kindly while it was so cold out side. it was happy to see them care each other and cooperate. Thank you John and his coworkers!

Steve was already at his computer when I came in, the first customer for a maintenance checkup. He had all the information ready, and within minutes I was seated on a comfortable sofa while my car was serviced. Steve explained each charge on the invoice and noted that there was a nail puncture in a tire and suggested where I could get it plugged. The whole thing took less than an hour and my car was returned to me, serviced and newly washed. They are good folks.

Avoid this dealership with sales as well. However, if you still decide to go, avoid Tim Bourne. Background: I buy a new car about every 5 years and this is the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I was attracted to this dealership because of the Volvo Excellence Awards but I was fooled! My experience below: I'm buying this vehicle for my parents and after the price negotiation, we agreed on a new XC40.
Because my dad's credit history isn't great, I told Tim multiple times that if we can't get financing approval of 1.99% for 60 months, I can prepare a bank check for the full amount. But I will *NOT* pay a higher rate. He understood that and we agreed to pick up the car in 2 weeks on Friday 5/28. I paid a deposit of $2500 for the car.
One week passed and I have not heard from Tim and on Monday, 5/24, I got a text out of the blue that Geico will call me at 10:58am. And in less than a min (still at 10:58am), Geico called and want to adjust the insurance info to the new car and I had to call my dad immediately to setup a conference call with him in it as well. I was in the middle of a meeting at work and had to jump off.
He gave me no other advance notice except for that last minute text message. After adjusting the insurance, I texted him to call me back which he did. During the call, I reiterated my concern with the financing approval and that I am perfectly fine with paying the full amount if there is a problem. The only caveat is I need to know in advance, not the day of, so I can go to the bank and get a certified check for the payment.
He re-assured me everything will be okay and that Volvo is quite lenient with approvals. He doesn't currently have the approval today but will confirm and let me know on Wednesday. On Wednesday, he texted me to confirm my appointment and that everything (financing at 1.99%) is good to go. On Friday morning, after driving over 1.5 hours to pick up my parents in Brooklyn (he had already sold his car at this point) and on the way back of another 1.5 hours to the dealership, the financing person called and said Volvo would *NOT* honor the financing rate!
They advised that we would need to put a down payment of $20,000 and the rate would be at 2.65%. He said he can give us a $500 discount to compensate for it. I mentioned to him that I told Tim (sales guy) more than 3 times that I will not pay more than 1.99% for financing and Tim has confirmed with me on Wednesday that everything is good to go. I told them I was prepared to pay in full too but will not do that on the day of.
He said Tim never confirmed with him and there's nothing he can do and he can have Tim call us back. When Tim called, he tried to say the same things about financing. I told him I don't want to hear that cause that's besides the point. The point is I told him on multiple occasions that I will not pay more than 1.99% for financing and would have been perfectly fine paying in full.
I just need advance notice so that I don't have to rush to the bank on the day that we're picking up the car. He's really inconveniencing me and if he still want this business, he needs to give me a better incentive than the measly $500 discount. He said he will talk to the manager about it. When Time called back again, he said his manager won't do anything to compensate for the inconvenience caused.
I said then forget the deal and give me back my $2500 deposit because they broke their contract for not honoring the 1.99% for 60 months financing for the entire amount. I gave him my CC number for the refund but I have yet to see the refund reflected on my credit card a day later. I will update this review if this changes. What the heck is this so called "Volvo Experience Award"?! Is it an award for being shady (trying to charge me a higher interest rate than agreed upon)? Is it an award for being unapologetic to their customers when they have caused inconvenience and aggravation? If that is the case, I can see why they've earned it for so many years! Don't be fooled. this award is NOT what you think it should be!

I agree with the previous review on the receptionist. It seems like this is not her favorite job. I had been using Ramsey Volvo for the last 7 years to service my cars, but recently experienced a change in attitude and reliability. The prices posted for regular maintenance on their website are used as 'guidance' only. The actual prices are 50% higher. Complaining to management gets you a 'we never know what it will actually cost' answer. I will now be using a local service station and rethink any future Volvo purchases.

Matt Brega in the parts department took real good care of me! He took time to make sure we ordered the right part and was very polite and professional over the phone and in person when I picked it up. His accuracy was imperative in my situation, I was in from out of town for a very short time and couldn't afford any error. If he worked in my town I'd definitely be glad to have him as MY "parts guy" Kudos Matt, and keep up the good work!

This is one of the worst dealerships I have ever encountered. When you go to have your car serviced the woman who checks you in is rude, condescending and has no interest in customer service. When we had a problem we could never speak to the manager to deal with an error that they made. They are interested in new sales but awful on the service end.
We have had 3 Volvo wagons and I have now gone to a new car brand to be done with this Volvo dealership. Subaru has been wonderful and so accommodating to us. Take your business elsewhere folks!
