Great dealings with these guys. Christa was very friendly and fast when I bought my car. Recently they got my recall taken care of while my girlfriend was buying her car, killing two birds with one stone. Her financial portion of the sale seemed a bit shakey, but they finally got it straight and we are both happy customers.

Bought my very first car on my own here this week. I had a friend come with me to look at the car, and John was very accommodating in trying to address any issues we brought up. Very matter of fact, very helpful, and very down to earth - just what I appreciate in a salesman! I wasn't pressured to finance, and was able to find the used car of my dreams. Great experience, would recommend to a friend.

We worked with John after our family vehicle died on us. He was helpful, friendly and very accommodating. We were able to test drive to our mechanic and get a good feel for the vehicle before committing to it. We were able to take it home within a few hours of inquiring on it's availability. Highly recommend Sunshine Toyota.

I loved working with Sunshine Toyota. The best part was they listened to what I wanted and did not push me into something I wasn't sure about. They were there to answer any and all questions and worked with me to get the rate that I wanted to see. Krista did an amazing job I definitely see myself coming back to work with her in the future! Super happy with Sunshine Toyota! Tyler Bloomfield helped me get my new Tacoma TRD Off-road and I couldn't be happier with it. Tyler took care of everything over the phone with me (I live 2hrs away from the dealership) and worked with me on everything. I was able to get an accurate offer for my trade in over the phone and emails, get my truck ordered, and options installed without ever having to visit the dealer. The day I picked up my truck was a great experience, I traded in my car, did the paperwork, and set up my truck in under an hour. Everyone was great.

During my visit, the Service Department was not consistent in mask wearing. Most mechanics didn't wear masks when I saw them as I picked up my car. There was one who did have a mask on his chin, and covered his nose AFTER he left my car, but I wish he had it covered IN my car. Truly surprising behavior given the surge in cases and increase in death rates. However, the Sales Department really seemed to practice very good COVID19 hygiene.
They consistently were masked and seemed to be socially distancing. I'd give them 4.5 stars. Still we are talking about a disease that can kill and/or harm so many loved ones. Can't give more than 1 star during this critical health crisis when the behavior of a few can harm many both physically and financially.

Praise God. After fixing the wiring harness on our rav4, We found an honest Toyota dealership who purchased our car for $13,600 and not $8500 like sunshine originally offered us and then retracted - and the new dealer sold it within a week. We ended up buying a Nissan Pathfinder Le! No more Toyota's for us.

Worked with Jim F to purchase a Highlander Hybrid. He was knowledgeable, easy going, quick to follow through and a pleasure to work with. There was no waiting while "I have to check with my sales manager" or anything similar. I pretty much knew what I wanted going in and depending on the trade-in assumed I would buy. The trade-in was within my range and Sunshine's starting price was aggressively competitive

We bought a used car here a few years ago- the salesman was great and we were happy with the experience. The last time I took it here for service (oil change, fix a latch on trunk) it was the worst car dealership ever. So the lady who you check in with was extremely rude and then didn't know how to check the miles? She later came to me with latch in hand and said I had to go to the Honda dealership for this screw (it was literally a bolt that you could get anywhere we just needed help reaching another one of the pieces while car was elevated- which I described clearly beforehand) and they couldn't fix my latch on the trunk. They were so incredibly rude and unhelpful through this whole process. We no longer own that car and will not return in the future

I leased my car from this dealership in 2016. I received a letter today in the mail that Toyota wanted to buy my car back for top dollar, which they have to be a few times in the past. I called and asked for Steve, whom was not available, so I spoke with Tyler, who said Toyota would look at my car and make me an offer. I told him that my car was leased and he said that wouldn't matter.
He asked me who sold me my car and I told him Jim. When I pulled up to the dealership Jim saw me and I went to his desk. He explained to me that with my car being leased there's nothing they could do. He told me I have a negative equity of $2600 because Prius' don't have a resale value. I only have 6 payments which equals out to $1800.
I don't understand why I would have to pay more on it. My car is well maintained and has only 33,000 miles on it. They have done this to me multiple times and I'm sick of it. Metro Toyota is a way better dealership and I will be continuing to go there instead of here, even though it's a longer drive.

These folks are GREAT when it comes to their communication and customer service! I never felt pressured to buy, never felt uncomfortable, or never felt like I was being scammed. Justin was very honest and helpful in getting me the car I wanted for the price I had in mind. And although I have the option of dealing with Spartan Toyota, which I've visited and is closer to me, I think I'll be making the longer drive out to Battle Creek. That's how good I feel about these guys!

O.K., I've given this place a try a couple of times with dismal results. The first time I went there to buy a used car, but the salesman kept pulling random disappearing acts in between handing me literature trying to persuade me to buy a brand new Yaris. He never did "find" the car I was there to look at because it must have been "out for detailing." I finally gave up and left after 2 hours of total nonsense; don't be that patient with them;) A couple of weeks ago, I went there to do a test drive on a Toyota Corolla, priced just a bit above blue book value.
It was a total waste of time. The car had a horrible musty, mildew smell on the inside, even though they had supposedly changed the cabin air filter. I took the car to my mechanic anyway (already had it lined up with the test drive), and the car needed considerable exhaust work and had Bondo and spray paint job on one sections above one of the rear tires. The car was probably barely worth $2500, let alone what they were asking for it. Nothing special about this place, as always.buyer beware.

This dealership is a GEM. Absolute 5-star service from the first phone call to the final signature. Zach Brown (my salesman) and Tim Born (the sales manager) were fantastic. I was looking on cars.com for a 2012 Jeep Liberty 4WD with low mileage in showroom (or close to it) condition and Sunshine Toyota had one -- a recent 1-owner trade in with 13k on it.
I called on 2/3 and spoke with Zach Brown. He did a courtesy check of the vehicle and reported that it was in perfect shape inside and out. On 2/5, my father-in-law and I took a ride out to Battle Creek, MI (a 4-hour drive for us) to see the vehicle. We were not disappointed. It was exactly what I was looking for. A little bit of friendly price negotiation (who doesn't negotiate price at a dealership?) and a hand shake and Tim and I sealed the deal. Tim, an awesome Harley-loving dude with some great stories, handled everything from then on while Zach prepped the vehicle. 10 minutes in the finance manager's office (nice lady with a great personality) and I was on my way home with my new Jeep. Drove it back home to Akron, Ohio, and it was like driving a brand new vehicle.
The radio came equipped with SiriusXM, so I was able to listen to Billy Joel the whole way home. (Billy has his own channel now -- channel 18 -- and I'm a huge fan.) The professionalism and honesty of the staff at this dealership cannot be overstated. They really go out of their way to make sure the customers are happy. They even have a lounge area with coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. Anyway, thanks to Zach, Tim and everyone else at Sunshine Toyota in Battle Creek, MI. Awesome experience.
