Mike fell in love with Corvettes as a teenager while pumping gas in the Boston suburb of Everett, Massachusetts and knew someday he would be heavily involved with them. He also felt a great desire to serve the country he loved, so in 1976 he enlisted in the Marines. After retiring from the Marines in 1980 as a Staff Sargent E6, he settled in Southern California to start the next phase of his life.

Mike Purchased my Range Rover and had one of his employees pick it up from my home. 2 days later Mike informs me he no longer wishes to keep the car he purchased and placed a STOP PAYMENT on the CHECK he gave me. I had to Uber to his dealership over an hour away to pickup what was now my car again. Don't bother doing business here.

I've known of Corvette MIke since the mid 80s, but am only now seeking them out, since my 2017 Grand Sport needs some maintenance. So, after signing up for their newsletter, Troy promptly sent me a welcome email, and solicited a picture of my Vette and a short story. Today, I drove there to meet Troy and also meet with the Service Writer, Richard, who knowledgably answered all my questions (not necessarily an easy task!).
Bottom line: I've read many other positive reviews, and with minimal trepidation, went there to check them out. My fears lacked any basis, as I was treated with the utmost respect, and will take my car there in 5 weeks, which is how long they are booked out. Must be a good shop to have such demand for their services!

With a recent purchase of a 1967 427 Tri-power Corvette, my first stop was to Corvette Mikes to fully sort the car that had been sitting in a collection in Texas. Mechanic Scott and Adviser Richard were friendly and super knowledgeable. I knew I (and the car) were in good hands. I did not expect a quick turnaround, rather getting the job(s) done right. And it was. The car runs perfect and continues to looks great. This car will only be serviced at Corvette Mikes while it stays in my stewardship. Could not be happier.

Checked the place out a year ago. Only one guy working on several cars alone - overworked. He did not want to look at my corvette even though I drove there. That same day In the showroom area with the cars for sale I was totally ignored. Nobody there just wandered around on my way back to the service dept. Flash forwards to present. Called up recently to get one thing looked at and hopefully fully fixed.
I was discouraged from making an appointment because (I had to listen at length about this) they were the only vette place, they are over a month out etc. I made the appt anyway - and the day before I was to go the service mgr called and cancelled me. Over a month out for an appointment and they cancel me the day before. Prob did me a favor. Good luck w these guys.

I had a wonderful experience with the people at Corvette Mikes. After they completed the work on my corvette, it feels and drives like a new car. Lindsay Ann, Amy and Jeff were courteous and made me feel comfortable there. I want to especially thank Larry for overseeing the excellent work and job done by Scott and Jake. I was completely satisfied with the entire exposure to the people and service. I am a very Happy Customer. Mike (Encino)

I had a fantastic experience dealing with Troy at Corvette Mikes. I purchased a car sight-unseen. It was 50+ years old, original, unrestored. The car arrived and is EXACTLY as described. In a trade that's dominated by sharks & half truths Troy is a stand out person to deal with. Exemplary service. Highly recommended.

I entered classic car mechanic in my search bar and this shop came up. I called and asked if they worked in classic cars or if the were specifically Corvette. The guy asked "what is you car", my answer was "48 GMC pick up truck". His reply was "no thanks" My thoughts- If ever I own a corvette, its not going there.

Today me and my buddy came into mike's shop and wanted some work done on a 63' nova he told us that it would take a month to even consider to work on the muscle car. He told us he never gives guarantees, someone who can't guarantee their work is not a very good mechanic or professional. We will take our business elsewhere. He was very rude, didn't seem interested and I would recommend anyone to take their business elsewhere.

My 2001 C5 has an annoying engine oil leak, I am the original owner and at 130,000 miles not unusual. Scott suggested removing motor to replace all seals, suggested I talk to Larry. Larry advised that fixing the seals would run $4,000, and that there is no alternative because the LS1 motor is a throw-away, not rebuildable, and no replacements are available.
He has lots of reasons why. A check with Corvette forum brought an immediate response - Larry does no know what he is talking about. Clicking on forum advertisers showed lots of options for C5 LS1 motors. Keep Larry in the wash/detail bay, and don't let him out.

You will pay over fair market value for anything you purchase here. Are they fair. no, are they experts. based on talking to them. no. Are they sophomoric in nature. yes. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing. I would not recommend these guys to my worst enemy. Stay away. You have been warned.

WOW! I just picked up my 1997 Corvette from Corvette Mike's and could not be happier. I took it there based on a recommendation from a friend who had been there before. I was having a few issues that I have lived with for a while, as I could not find somebody to fix them. Chris diagnosed all of them within minutes and gave me a price to fix each one.
It made the process of deciding what I wanted to fix and what I wanted to wait on. I have been taken advantage of before, so showed the list Chris came up with to my friend and he agreed that it look like he wanted to do, and the cost looked fair. We set up an appointment for me to bring the car back, as they were super busy, and everything got fixed quickly and for the price they quoted. They even stayed late so I could pick up my car after hours! Now that is customer service! I will be back to have the other items fixed soon.

I have been so happy with the service department and Chris. I took my 1977 Corvette to them to have the air conditioning converted and a full diagnostic done. They were honest and fair and gave me lots of options on what was a priority and what could wait. They also helped me decide on what they could do in order to keep the labor costs down. I was very impressed with their honesty and professionalism.

I recently purchased a 57' Corvette that Corvette Mikes put up for auction. I'm in Arizona and the transaction from California could not have been handled better. After the car arrived I found some things that I thought needed attention. Corvette Mikes was not required to help me on this but they were extremely interested in listening to me and they stepped up and helped me get this done. I would feel comfortable buying from them again. It's refreshing to be treated well. RD

Let me preface by saying I've never taken my Vette here but I can relate to those negative views about these guys being rude(at least Mike). I have a C5 Vette, bored of the color and board of the automatic transmission. The car's in great shape with a few mods. I simply posted all over I wanted to possibly trade my C5 for another C5 that was a manual in a different color. Hopefully an even trade.
Here is Mikes response to my message "Tony no one is going to do an even trade for a C5? Why would they? That's backwards? Mike" Odd reply for a guy who you'd think wants to attract some possible good Vette customers. He failed to realize I have cash and willing to upgrade(and can afford it). Interestingly I had a lot of responses from other Vette dealers who saw this as an opportunity to at least try to up sell me. I'll probably spend a bit more but at least it will be from a seller that appears to appreciate a new customer.

My mechanic for many years recommended this place when I needed a new gas tank for my 1973 Corvette and I'm sure glad he did. They were professional, fairly priced and fun to work with Let's face it operating and maintaining a vintage Corvette will never be cheap but hey it's a labor of love and Corvette Mike understands. Thanks Chad and Neida for a great experience and my mechanic, Kevin, for a great recommendation.

If you own and drive a Corvette. This is the best place for you. Quick-service friendly staff and a clean facility. Few months back I came in with a leaking water pump. I dropped it off around 8 a.m. And had it back around 11 a.m. I will never use any mechanic ever again. Corvette Mike's is the best

I live less than 3 miles from a Chevrolet dealer, who has worked on both my cars in the past. "Past" is the key word here. I'm driving almost 30 miles to Corvette Mike to service both cars (Camaro and Corvette) when they need attention. So I'm back again for the oil change service on the Camaro. The Corvette is scheduled for mid-May. I appreciate the customer service, efficiency, attention to detail, and who doesn't like looking at all the Corvette's for sale. Thanks again to a great staff, see you soon.

I contacted Corvette Mike's as another specialty corvette shop decided that they didn't have the time to repair my supercharged C6 after I had already trucked it over to them. Carl and Scott from corvette Mike's were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and went through my car with a fine toothed comb to isolate and advise on any issues that would affect the performance and safety of my car. I live over 100 miles away and still would never get my car worked on anywhere else. Thank you Corvette Mike!

Owner of C6 Z06. Recently discovered oil leak bottom of the engine on the vehicle and recommended by fellow 'Vette owner to give Corvette Mike a call. Scott from service dept. was very knowledgeable and diligent about follow up after the drop off. Located in very convenient spot in OC. Friendly staff and beautiful showroom. This might just become one of my favorite spot to visit in the future.

Corvette Mike Sales & Service: I first wanted to say that I have never owned a Corvette before nor have I every owned a classic car before. I've always had newer types of vehicles with warranty's. So I was skeptical in wanting a classic for years, but last week I bit the bullet and purchased a Vet sight unseen due to the state I live within.
I spoke many times to Troy until I felt comfortable and it was that comfortability as to why I purchased the car. I had the car checked out by a third party and there was a couple issues which Troy negotiated to be fair in making my sale pleasurable. Since the initial sale I've set up the car to have mechanic work done to it and the customer service I've experienced is first class by far. I'm typically a harder type of person to please, but I'm a car lover and not a rich guy so to get this type of service from people who truly care is something you don't experience in Texas very much.
With that said, I truly appreciate Troy and the team for working with me. It's not about the car, but the service and follow through so "Hats off to you and Corvette Mike". It's been a great experience and now you have an going customer. Rich
