I was struggling to find the exact vehicle I wanted at dealerships near me. Luckily I found one at Palmen, so I called in to verify its availability. I spoke to Ryan Hilburger and he let me know it was available. We set up an appointment and once I got there, I immediately realized that Ryan was going to be easy to work with. He was completely transparent with me, regarding price, fees, etc.

He also did a great job of working to get me the deal I needed to feel comfortable and purchasing so I was able to drive away in my new truck. I have had some awful experiences at dealerships in the past, so this was a refreshing change of pace. Thanks again Ryan.

My sales rep Danny did a great job of walking through the process and checking out some cars. I test drove a few of them and ended up getting a solid deal on a Ford Escape despite the prices of used cars right now. Car was in really good shape and everything they said on the website checked out. I would highly recommend Danny and Palmen if you're looking for a new vehicle.

I live about 45 mins away from this dealership close to the IL/WI border. I've heard of the dealership before coming in but the one who reminded me of them was my dad. I'm glad he did. Before coming here I went to two different dealerships closer to my home. The first was absolutely awful and the second was decent. As I drove here I thought "Well, third times a charm". Palmen Motors was definitely the charm!

I came in looking at this 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport Unlimited and left with it! My salesman was Jeff Haines and he did an amazing job! I truly can not recommend him enough. I showed up at 1pm and by 4pm I was driving off the lot in my new car. Jeff was extremely kind, took his time with my mom and I, and made the entire experience lovely. I will gladly drive the few extra minutes if it means dealing with true honest people. I will always recommend Jeff and this dealership for anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. I went for an oil change there because where I had gone before, also not my regular place, told me they couldn't change it because plug for oil pan the threads were worn, so I thought go to the dealer for my Dodge Journey. Palmen also told me the same & I would need a new oil pan if they removed the plug, which would have been close to $600 for replacement.

I said no thank you! I took it to my regular place & they with no problem removed the plug, changed the oil and installed a new plug! Palmen is only out to get your hard earned money!

I drove in with my 19' Hyundai with a certain set of things I was looking for in a new vehicle. Nothing too extra. Just heated seats, remote start, and either 4wd or Awd because while Hyundai's are great. you're kind of stuck where you are if there's more than 3 inches of snow. I met with Danny, who actively listened to everything I wanted.and he put me in the snazziest vehicle I've ever owned at a wonderful price.

He never made me feel like it was JUST about the sale. He let me pick what I wanted instead of trying to push a vehicle on me that I had no interest in. He gave me a great price on my trade in, he gave me options, and tried to get any promo or discount he could. In just a couple of hours, I drove home in my new 22' Jeep Compass trailhawk, to be the envy of all my friends.

I'm so in love with it and the service given. If you're looking for a vehicle, I'd definitely recommend Palmen and would hands down send anyone looking straight to Danny. It's been almost a week and I still get texts from Danny to see if I need assistance with anything because this new Jeep is so technologically advanced. I appreciate it, him, and this dealership. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could.

I had the pleasure to work with Mario at Plamen and I couldn't say enough good things about him! This was my first time buying a car on my own and he made the entire experience easy and painless. I called ahead of time to get a feel for the dealership and from the first call I knew this was the right place for me. He made sure to explain everything, every step of the way.

At no point did I feel pressured or get that feeling of someone just wanting to make money. He worked with me every step of the way. He was more than ideal! Would 100% recommend him and would go back to him in a heartbeat!

Ryan Williams provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. He talked to me thoroughly about the scope of the service I required, made me aware of a recall on my Jeep, and kept me aware of the progress of the service being done throughout the day. I had asked him what the process would be should my Jeep breakdown when the service department wasn't open.

He explained the process to me and when I arrived to pick up my Jeep he showed me where to find the envelopes and the slot in the door where it would need to be deposited. He also had someone pick up the recall parts in Racine in order for me to get everything completed in one day. Ryan explained my warranty on the battery and the other part that was repaired when I came to pick up my Jeep.

I was so pleased with the outstanding service Ryan provided that I am now a lifelong customer of Palmen Motors. I consider Ryan a valuable asset of your team! Thank you, Laura

Our salesman Mario Ayala was very courteous, listened to us and worked with us. He threw in a TV after he heard a story about our daughter throwing a spoon and breaking ours. There were a few issues with our used vehicle that Palmen looked at and took care of for us. There were also some price and fee discrepancies, but overall a good experience.

I would not recommend this Dodge dealership to anyone. Service is lazy and horrible to work with. Racist vibes from Kevin Phillips. He basically told me to go back where I came from. Took them over 1 week just for a simple tire and wheel estimate needed for my insurance company. They treat their customers like shit. I would give them 0 stars if the option had been presented. Dodge should be more restrictive upon the kind of people they let franchise their brand.

I've been (What I thought was a valued costumer seeing that I've personally bought 2 cars from this dealership and my parents a car, totally 3 new cars) a customer here for the last 9 years. This dealership has poor communication skills and has misinformed me 3 times on different occasions. The first, an error they made when I had to have my software re-installed mandated by Jeep, when they killed my battery and had to come tow my car back to the dealership.

A second time when I called asking about my car's rust warranty and they told me I had unlimited miles, when in fact I only had 60 months from purchase date, and now again when I made an appointment to fix the rust. I was told it would take 3 hours on a Friday- which in my head, sounded odd so I even asked again to the person making my appointment that it would only take 3 hours, to which they confirmed. Took off of work brought my car down and dropped it off, contacted the dealership 3 hours after I dropped off, and to my surprise they tell me my car won't be ready until Thursday.

Imagine my shock, so now I've taken off work, brought my car 40 minutes to a city I don't reside in, so that the car could be serviced and now I'm stranded for 6 days? Their resolution? a discounted car rental, for a communication error that was never communicated to me about the length of time. Called their service manager, and the only thing they stated they could do is call the body shop and get it back from them.

I will be taking my car and telling all my friends and family to not bring their car here or buy cars from this location. I did have a friend who also was a valued customer tell me that their family has also stopped supporting this dealership and I wish I had listened to them. Heed my advice and look elsewhere. (also filed with the BBB).

Brought my car to the Kenosha location because it was jerking and shaking. When they were trying to diagnose the problem the technician broke my window controller and mentioned to Brian that he had trouble with the window. I was told that he just pop the button back in when he actually replaced the whole thing because the interior light is a different color.

They didn't fix it until a week later when they needed me to come in so that could get more information about my transmission that they claimed was slipping and the cause of my problem. took about 3 weeks for the part to come in and they called me saying that one of my coil's needed to be changed and that this problem must've just happened because they catch it before.

I told them to just change the transmission and I'll deal with the coil another time because at this point I did not trust them at all. I pick my car up and it still drove the same but the very next day my check engine light came on as I was driving to work and the light never came on before when it wasn't half repaired! So I made an appointment with Racine to double check their work and sure enough they didn't install my transmission in properly!

The advisor said that's why my light came on and it wasn't driving properly so they fixed it as well as replacing my coil and all spark plugs. Left Brian from the Kenosha location a message and he never called back. Went to the location and asked for the service manager and he tried saying because I denied the coil replacement with them that's why my light came on and it had nothing to do with the transmission.

I showed him the paperwork that has the details of what they did wrong and he asked what I wanted from him and I said my 100 deductible and he said he couldn't do that and would refund me the $59.98 for the quick learn that Racine had to correct. Highly disappointed

I have never written a review at any dealership before for any reason, good or bad. BUT, this review has been earned, unfortunately. I recently brought in my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia to Palmen Alfa Romeo for a flat tire and left with my car damaged. When I brought it in initially, upon arrival, I was surprised that the Alfa dealership only consisted of a somewhat empty building with big windows.

There is NO specific Alfa Romeo servicing center. Instead, you have to bring in your car to the CJDR servicing building next door. A little surprising, but sure that's fine and don't have a problem with that. Because I had to order a specific tire and wait for shipping/receiving, I left my car there for the week. Now, Alfa Romeo is considered a luxury brand which means there's a higher standard of service one would expect.

Just like Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Lexus, Porsche, Maserati, etc. With that in mind, that standard was not met here. In fact, it's safe to say I will never again be returning nor will I be referring anyone here in the future. I was without a car and needed a loaner vehicle and requested one like one would normally do at any other dealership, but if you want one from here you'll have to pay a hefty price of $40 PER DAY in order to be loaned one.

Not even at Chevy, Ford or Toyota do they do that. Non the less, that's just unheard of at this level of standard. I've owned cars from Porsche, Maserati, Mercedes, Subaru, and even Jeep in the past and whenever I needed a loaner the dealership always made sure to have one ready for me at no additional cost. The standard was understood at those dealerships, not at Alfa Romeo Palmen. Anyway, prior to leaving my car in the dealership's hands I made sure to record a video of my tire/rim to document exactly what the tire/rim looked like as per past experiences.

When I received my car back the following week I was upset to find that the rim had additional curb rash and large zigzag etching on the side of my rim. Not only does this devalue my vehicle, but it is also damaging my property. To top it all off, they didn't even wash my car and presented it to me dirty covered in dust. As you read this I need you to know and understand that I've worked as a porter, a salesman, and a service writer at a couple luxury dealerships so I understand the level of customer service required and the high standard our customers expect from us.

That level and standard was not met here. When I spoke to the manager about this it felt like my only options were to deal with the damage or have it fixed by a specialist that only came to the dealerships on days that I unfortunately would not be able to bring my car in due to work scheduling. I asked if I could receive a loaner in the meantime but was denied one.

I felt as if this was being made out to be my problem to fix on my own unless it was convenient to the dealership. This was not my problem to resolve as I'm not the one who created it. I am the one affected by it. At this point I was really upset with my experience as I felt stuck and felt like the dealership wasn't willing to work with me unless it was convenient to them. Again, the standard was clearly not understood here.

I asked to speak with a higher authority and was asked for the video as proof that I was not lying. This is exactly why I always recommend documenting your vehicle/property before leaving it anywhere. Once the proof was validated and confirmed I was not lying, the director was willing to work with me and give me another option that was convenient to me.

The customer should not have to go through this no matter the brand or quality of the vehicle in order to have a problem resolved. This review is a direct message to the owner as this experience reflects on you, your business, and the experience you allow your customers to leave the dealership with and express that to potential future customers they come across.

Buyer beware of "Appalling Motors." 1990's Sales tactics here create bloat on pricing and treat the buyers like dolts. I went in to look at jeeps and jeep gladiators. I noticed right away that every Gladiator was carrying an extra set of post-delivery dealer add-ons that do nothing but inflate the vehicle's price while not giving you an option to choose them as add-ons or opt-out.

If you had a choice, you might say no to the ~$2300 minimum in underbody coating, paint, and upholstery protection which equates to about between 4 -6% added to the price of the vehicle. If I wanted underbody coating, I would take elsewhere to have it done by the shop at the dealership. Additionally, as a negative option meaning you don't get a choice, it is by definition only favorable for one party - the dealership - because anytime you don't get to choose or select what you want - you lose.

You get no choice selecting and no discretion on price/spend. The conversation I had with a rather poorly performing salesman only reinforced this point. I asked, do you mean to say I have no option of opting out of such add-ons, even for a recently delivered car to the dealership? He said, Correct - All of them get it. He also answered - or only if you order from the factory.

The dealer also explained they have to charge that cost because it's expensive. Yeah, which is why you should allow the buyer to choose- duh! Proof they add that on as an internal dealership policy from management to inflate the prices in their favor. If it's such a great option, give the consumer the choice of adding it at their discretion.

Maybe the next time Mr. Palmen goes out for dinner, he can order a steak and get fish instead because that's what the house wants him to eat -they know best! Lastly, no matter how much you scour their website, there is no mention anywhere of these additional add-ons being included anywhere nor anywhere on a particular automobile description. That's right - You get to find out about it after you get there, learning they made the car nearly $2500 more expensive than it needed to be. Oh, remember you didn't get a choice.

I just purchased a vehicle from Palmen the other day. I knew what I wanted (thanks to the internet) and had a trade in. The process was actually quick, probably two hours tops for everything. Remember everything is always a sales tactic, even when you enter the door. We were coming to see Mario, who was great. As soon as we walked in the door, a salesperson (not Mario) was like Mario will be with you in a minute.

What car are you guys here to see. I tell him which one, his response, oh yeah that's a great vehicle I'm surprise it's still here lol. I tell my wife, here we go. I'm thinking to myself yeah it's still because we our in "winter" and no one is buying cars the week of Christmas. I was quoted at $2000 for my trade in via the phone by Mario. $2000 was a fair offer. Kelly blue book had my truck at $1600-3600 in "fair condition" for a trade in price.

I was willing to take their offer. When it came down to the prices, he low balled the hell out of me at $1000. I literally said nope, not even close, looks like we won't be making a deal. Talks with the manager, they bump it up to $1500. I told him, no $2000 was originally quote and I showed him the KBB screen shot of my trucks value. Guess what, they come up to $2000.

Overall Mario was great except for that low ball offer when he said $2000 on the phone. Stick firm to your vehicles trade in value. They also said I need new tires lol when I told him wow that's weird because I bought new tires about 6-7 months ago. But overall experience was positive, I would recommend/ask for Mario.

My husband and I brought a 2019 Jeep Wrangler here this year. We are absolutely enjoying the Wrangler on a daily basis. We also enjoyed the pressure free environment from Danny Cardinali. He was a big help in this whole process and was a great sales representative. I wanted to give Danny and this dealership the props and recognition that they deserve.

Hate hate hate the car buying process but Lawrence and Mike were both honesty and enjoyable to work with. The pricing was upfront and no surprises. We learned so much about how dealers price on line these days and many were unbelievably dishonest. We drove by at least four other RAM dealers to purchase from Palmen. So far they're a 10!

Want to get screwed by the sales and finance department com on down to Palmen. Not only did they try to swindle me into a car that I was not looking at, but they tried to switch prices on higher to make the car I did look even more expensive. I came into the building with a internet price of 23,500 that included the incentives. After speaking with a new sales person whom did not know anything about the extra incentives, he brought his manager who told me I did not qualify for half of them as the Palmen discount had hidden qualification that were not listed at all.

I asked for the sales manager if he could show me the qualifications that he had mentioned and I was told that he does not have to provide anything at all, but could haggle on the price. I finally reached a good price with the sales man and the manager on a Jeep Cherokee to only hit a brick wall as the finance department totally screwed up my application.

Both my wife and I have scores over 700 with an annual income of 105K, yet they said I can get a loan for 8.9%. When they told me that I started to laugh and told them to come back in couple min. I went online and applied for a Capital One Auto loan for the exact car matching the VIN number and it came back with 3.8% with a bonus that Palmen can offer that car for $500 cheaper.

So I called the manager over and showed him the pre-approval and new amount I want to buy the car. He throw a child like tantrum and said I was not comparing apples to apples, even though I told him it was the exact VIN number of that car. That's when things got even better. Not only did he start to raise his voice, calling me a liar and a cheat.

He kept telling me I was trying to scam the dealership and I would not qualify for a $1000 discount because I was not getting the loan from the dealer. At this point I told my wife to grab her stuff because this place wanted to cheat us out of money, upon walking out, two customers followed and asked him about the website I went to. At the end, the dealership lost 3 customers that day as they tried to screw over everyone who comes in by inflating the car prices as well as the interest rate. Shame on you and your team Palmen.

The service department is the absolute worst. I have come here a few times for an oil change and was charged exorbitant prices and pressured for services that were not needed. The first time I came for an oil change, I was charged upwards of $60 for a conventional oil change on a small sedan. The assistant manager tried adding services for windshield wiper blades and tried to manipulate me into purchasing an air filter installation.

He brought in a truly disgusting looking air filter full of dirt and leaves and told me it was mine. I declined the unneeded services. As I suspected, when I checked my air filter when I got home, it looked nothing like the one he showed me. Aside from the actual service being poor and taking hours, the manager and assistant manager are just rude and discourteous.

I would prefer to get my oil changed with the dealership since they keep records and do multipoint inspection each time, but this place is a waste of time and money. I recommend just taking the trip down to Classic Kia in Waukegan instead for much better service.

Horrible customer service! My husband made an appt to fix my car play. He called to confirm the appt. when he got there, he was told they didn't have him on the schedule. How could that be when the appt was confirmed? He asked if they could squeeze him in and they said no. He was not treated very well. They even sent him over to their other site to see if his appt was there, but it wasn't.

The tech kept saying how busy and behind they were. My husband finally left. He actually took the car to Boucher Chevrolet and they fixed it with no issues! I wrote the CEO of Palmen to complain; never received a response. Yay Boucher!

WATCH OUT FOR HIDDEN ADDENDUMS! I found mine in the console of the truck. They quoted us a price, we accepted and then they added the "addendum". Not good business. Google says the "addendum" is a car dealers scam. Look it up. Why would any business want to scam their customers? I wrote this review about two weeks ago. I have since contacted Andy Palmen (owner) and he has resolved this issue for us.

We were given a refund of the addendum and we were also given an apology for the misunderstanding. The service that we received up until we discovered the addendum was exceptional. When going to pick up our refund at Palmen GMC we were treated with nothing but respect. We left there satisfied customers. We are now enjoying our new Ram Black Widow truck! Thank you Andy~

The worst dealership I've ever dealt with, stay away from there service dept. Every year for the last four years heater core in Dodge journey go out. Last time I went the water pump went out. Instead of taking responsibility for not fixing problem of heater core they tried and pin it on me for not replacing timing chain and the person they sent instead of manger was very disrespectful.

The heater core still bad and spent 800.00 on fixing water pump. Now after fixing the water pump there I still can't drive car because heat is now out on driver's side which before I took in was working. They told me to call dodge they could do nothing for me.

I made an appointment to come look at a car, I show up 1 hour later and the car 'has been sold'. Since I was already there, I looked at the other cars they had which were similar to the one I made an appointment to come see. I looked at another car, and after chatting I decided not to buy it that night. Regardless, I called back a few days later and they told me the car was still available. (Monday) I told them I will come buy it tonight, but it was already 8pm and I live an hour away so the dealership said oh don't worry, make an appointment to come buy it tomorrow.

So I did, for 7pm the next day, Tuesday. When I spoke with the dealership on Monday about me buying the car, both the manager and salesman were involved and knew I had full intention to come buy the car. I thought that with their suggested appointment, that was clear. Tuesday morning I receive an email saying the car has been sold. The salesman claimed he was going to call me and take down credit card info for a deposit but 'he was too late'.

If this is the case, why didn't he take down a deposit from me Monday night. Not sure how he was able to fail at his job that bad. And clearly he doesn't know either because I asked him and he ignored my question. This dealership just plays the customers.

UPDATE: 4/22/2016 Insult to injury! Today I get a copy of a receipt. They charged me $25 for gas for the courtesy car I HAD to have ( longer than I wanted too!) Really? I wouldn't have had to have the car so long, but your service department screwed up! Unbelievable! I was not happy before, don't dare call and ask for a phone survey now!

Agreed! The service at Palmen Motors in Kenosha, Wisconsin is AS GOOD AS IT GETS! Purchased a Fiat Pop 500 in 2013. I LOVE MY CAR! But better yet. I love the service I always and consistently receive. They are always pleasant, patient and accommodating. I have dealt with Ken Miller in the service area for the past 2 years. This place is so great I will always drive the 1 hour it takes to get there for my oil changes.

Always sparkling clean, and always positive. FIAT/Chrysler/GMC/Dodge Manufacturers and the owner of this Dealership should be extremely proud of this dealership and the team at Palmen!
