This place is for the birds!!! I bought a used 2003 Honda Accord w/ 38K miles on it and took it in for an oil change and had they check into a squeaking sound in the rear passenger side. When the advisor called me back, he let me know that it was coming from the suspension. The struts were leaking and the bushings were worn. He told me it would be about $700 to replace both of them in the back.
I hadn't even had it from 3 months yet and I put about 2000 miles on it, but went ahead and took it in for the oil change since, according the the sticker on the window, it was time for the oil change. When I contacted the Used cars manager, Paul Roberts, he was NO help at all. He told me that "it wasn't broke when you drove off the lot, so it's not my place to fix it". "What do you want me to do, give you $700 to fix it and we didn't break it?" REALLY??????
He kept saying, you bought a 7 year old car. I understand that but it only had 38K miles on it!!!! I'm sure that in the couple of months I had it, I didn't "break" the suspension on it. I barely drive the car anywhere!!!! He was no help and VERY rude!! He said, "well, I suggest that you shop around for prices and see if you can get it at a better price". Are you serious????
I DO NOT SUGGEST THAT ANYONE BUYS A CAR FROM HUGGIN HONDAS USED CAR DEPARTMENT EVER! And especially DO NOT talk to the salesman, Douglass Lamb! (African-American salesman) He's very rude. You would do much better at Frank Kent Honda. I went with my bestfriend when she went to buy her car and they were SO nice and professional and to this day, she still loves them!
