Total False Advertising Scumbags! Their website has under "Available Inventory" 12 Yukon's. Apparently, they do not understand the definition of Inventory. I inquire and they say their website is controlled by GMC Corporate and these are Yukon's that are sold but not delivered or some BS story, but they can order me a 2023 soon. These SB card dealers took Millions of PPP funds, while making double the normal profit. All I can hope is $5 Fuel, Rising Rates, Inflation puts a hurting on them. Going to try report them to some Tampa Bay Media Consumer Affairs about the false advertising.

I brought my car in for a checkup on the transmission because the car was jerking. They found metal particles in the transmission, they tried to say it was NOT a transmission failure when it was REALLY a transmission failure. They only replaced the torque converter when they were SUPPOSED to change the WHOLE transmission system. I had confirmation from two other mechanic shops and my brother whom is a transmission specialist in my home state that is is DEFINITELY A TRANSMISSION FAILURE.
The car was STILL jerking after the first time and the front tire was low on air-they forgot to put air in after patching the hole from the screw. I brought the car back and they did a "fast and learn". the car is STILL jerking right now. This is because metal particles are IN the engine causing the damages. I spoke and expressed my concerns to Troy Guidash.
He interrupted and said that he is NOT authorizing a complete transmission system even though it IS a transmission FAILURE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANY AUTOMOBILE OWNERS NOT TO BRING YOUR CARS TO THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT BECAUSE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND PUT YOU IN THE CAR THAT WILL ENDANGER YOUR LIFE AND YOUR LOVED ONES' LIVES AT RISK! If you are interested in a car or especially leasing a vehicle do not come to this dealership. We went in and walked up to the reception to explain that we were there to lease or purchase a vehicle and the salesman could not have tried to talk us out of getting out of there fast enough. He explained they don't have any 2022 enclaves and they are now making the 2023 vehicles and they are all presold.
He mentioned that they have 1 car which was an avenir and we asked to see it. He walked us out, said his coworker is showing it and basically escorted us out. Did not ask if we wanted to wait to see it, did not try to sell us something else, he just escorted us out. We went immediately to Century Tampa Buick. We were greeted by Ryan Bulkley who could not have been more eager to get us in a vehicle and we left with a car within hours.
If you want to feel Like you are intruding, be insulted as you're escorted out by an arrogant salesperson and want to be met with the anti sales force of car sales go to Rivard. You want to be treated as a customer go anywhere else. I'd like to also mention that at century we could not agree on price. Ryan came out with us as we were leaving and said, let me show you other vehicles and he took the time to compare and let us come to the conclusion that what was offered for the price was what we wanted. *Update- 6/4/2022- we called and asked for either Johnny R or Nate Pribble and the receptionist said no one works here by those names.
I then explained why we called and she offered a sales manager. We declined to speak with anyone as we were simply trying to be respectful and follow up. Their reply just makes it look like they followed through by taking it offline. *This person also does not exist in their phone directly when dialing by name.

I had a great experience working with ALEX IN SERVICE. I am a mechanical claims adjuster. No I'm not the guy calling about your cars extended warranty. Really, I work as an insurance adjuster and a Customers Advocate. After working with Alex, I will be the first to tell you these folks are on par with the best shops! Alex was super friendly and tended to our customers needs in a timely fashion. He got me all the info needed to fund our mutual customer's repair funded quickly and accurately. I am from Orlando, so I shopped for a Buick in my area. With this in mind, in Orlando, some dealers were adding thousands to the price of a new car. After searching in Orlando with no success, I searched online and found Rivard Buick in Brandon. After searching their website, I worked with Rick L in sales. Rick was outstanding! He was truthful (biggie for a car salesperson), sincere, and diligent.

I just purchased a new truck and they do have great discounts. I did all of my communication with the salesman over the phone, I did not go to the dealership. The salesman I was in contact with was Bobby. Although I ended up getting what I wanted, it seemed as if he couldn't care less if he made the sale and I was not impressed with the way he communicated with me or my father. Other than that, I had a good experience and I got the vehicle that I wanted at a good price considering the economy at the moment.

After several months of owning my 2021 Denali Sierra. I stopped by to make an appointment to have my truck service for the first time. Standing in the lobby waiting for someone to approach me when a gentleman said I'll be right back he never came back. After the technician got off the telephone he asked me what I needed I told him I was here to make an appointment for my vehicle.
He dial a number and gave me the phone. I spoke to a lady on the phone that was very very rude and told me she had no appointments except for 2 PM today. I came back at 2 PM pull my vehicle in the driveway 15 minutes went by before somebody came out to take my information for my vehicle. This was a bad experience for the first time bringing my truck there and I don't think I'm going to bring it again. This was a very bad experience for someone bringing their new vehicle for the first time for service.

What a smooth and completely seamless experience at Rivard GMC/Buick. I purchased a 2022 Yukon with the assistance of Art, he was extremely helpful with the process and kept me posted along the way with detailed updates on vehicle status. Came in just looking around to kill time while getting wife's vehicle serviced across the street. Left with a brand new truck I wasn't expecting to buy. But the deal was great! And the service was top notch. And she made buying a vehicle a pleasant and easy experience which are usually 2 things you don't correlate to vehicle purchases! I had a nice experience at Rivard Buick GMC Service Department yesterday. I called in the morning and was given a same day appointment in the afternoon. I was greeted promptly by one of the concierge. Her name was Misty. She let me know that my service advisor would be with me shortly. She asked me if I would like something to drink. Very sweet. Evan the service advisor came out shortly and was very kind and courteous.
I had a coupon from a different Buick dealership for my service and they honored it. My car was taken back to service immediately. The wait time was reasonable. I will come back again. Thank you Rivard Buick GMC for the excellent service. Keep up the great work.

Alex was excellent and so was all the staff. Alex was very professional, polite, knowlegeble and very helpful in getting everything done for are service on our 2016 Buick Encore. Can't thank him enough for everything he did plus everyone else involved with checking on us as we waited in the customers lounge. I hope someone in management can give him a raise or promotion. With this being the tenth vehicle we have purchased from Rivard Buick/GMC, obviously we are always pleased with our experience at the dealership. The sales staff goes out of their way to ensure your questions are answered and your needs are met. The only disappointing aspect of this vehicle purchase was that the tires on the used vehicle we purchased barely met safety standards (45K on a 5-yr-old vehicle) and the dealerships offer to make it right was half-hearted at best. Hopefully the dealership will be better suited to be more accommodating when we purchase our next vehicle from them.

From start to finish the process of purchasing a new 2022 Yukon XL SLT was wonderful. Art, our sales person was extremely smooth, well educated, and very forthcoming about anything that happened in the process. In the end, I got a very fair price, a fair payment, as well as a vehicle that will last us years and years. Special shout out to "Buster" who delivered the vehicle to us almost an hour away from the dealership and was more than pleasant and informative. This was the best experience that I have ever had buying a vehicle. Nick helped locate a truck for me when inventory was extremely low. I did everything over the phone, , waited three weeks for it to come in and went in to sign the paperwork and drove out less than 30 minutes later. No surprises. Everything was exactly as discussed. My recent experience with Rivard after coming back from Iraq. I walk onto the lot yesterday, August 20, 2021, And was there 45 minutes walking the lot looking at vehicles without being approached by anyone. I got back into my vehicle on the lot and called The dealership and talked to a young man then the phone went dead. I called back and talked to the same young man who informed me the vehicle that I was looking for which was $54,000 was being used by one of the employees to deliver some items.
I confirmed that the vehicle that they are selling, they were using to deliver items for the dealership and putting more miles on it and he confirmed. He then informed me he had no idea when the vehicle would return. I said OK I guess I will leave and not look at any other vehicles and he said OK bye. While sitting in the same parking spot, I called and left a message for the sales manager, Steve.
A couple hours later Steve contacted me and advised that he gave permission to the employee to use the vehicle that I was going to look at and he would have somebody call me back when it arrived. The following day which is today August 21, 2021, I received a phone call from a salesman saying that the vehicle was being cleaned up and it would be ready in about an hour or two to be seen.
I advised the salesman I would come in later in the day to take a look at it which I did and this brings me to this part of the story. I park in the same spot, right up front in customer parking and start walking the lot and find the vehicle that I'm interested in. I was on the lot for 45 minutes looking at that vehicle and every single one of the other vehicles for sale and not one salesman came out of the air-conditioned showroom and approached me and asked me if I needed any assistance.

Stay far away from this non-customer wanting business.

The employees are VERY sexist snd discriminate against women. The employees believe women don't exist and definitely should not own or finance a car. The agency needs sensitivity training at the least and need. Mental Head Slap in the right way to act. My aunt wants to get a new Buick Encore so we came from Sun City Center to look at one Nope, they don't have a single one in the lot. It was weird too that there wasn't a single car in the showroom. It is pretty bad out there with the chip shortage. A sales person did get keys and show her a used one so she can see if she likes the dash layout, Seats, size, etc.
He told her to check on line and if she sees a new one that is a real photo, not a stock photo, come back because they have stock. She gave him her number to call her if one comes in too. We shall see if that ever happens. I will update my review if she ever gets a car.

I want to review this business with 5 stars, but there was an issue. My husband and I bought a brand new vehicle online. We didn't see the vehicle until we went to pick it up. There were two reasons we did it this way--the pandemic and the drive (about an hour). When we inspected the vehicle, we realized it had a scratch. That meant that we had to leave the vehicle there.
They did volunteer to bring us the vehicle instead of having us drive there again, which was great. However, it really messed up our whole buying experience. We never did get a demonstration of the vehicle's features. The purchase date was left as the date we saw the car. That meant that the trials of OnStar and Sirius were both about a week in when we finally got the vehicle.
I do feel that someone should have noticed the scratch prior to us coming to pick up the vehicle and they should have fixed it and rescheduled us before we saw the vehicle. On the positive side, our sales person was always available and answered any and all questions we had. The vehicle is beautiful and we are happy with it. We did mess up because the vehicle doesn't have front sensors.

I went into this dealership yesterday February 12, 2021 to try to buy a new truck. They have the truck and I had just came in. It was the only one that was available because they are selling them fast. It had about $2200 more of equipment that I needed but still want to take a look at it. The sales guy who I thought was nice named Sean bone. He came out open the truck gave us the key let us take it on a test drive no pressure.
We came back wanted to talk over some numbers so we went inside to sit down. My dad proceeded to tell him that he had a 2018 Chevy Silverado LTZ with only 19,000 miles on it. He asked him to give a offsite appraisal on it. I had gotten up to leave my dad and the salesman along because I had a phone call. I come back to the table I find that neither one of them are there.
I go back to my car and find my dad sitting in it. I asked him what happened? He tells me that he came back with an offer for his truck 5 to 6000 under wholesale. They were trying to steal the trade in. Which most dealerships do that's why you never trade in your car. After we had it appraised by AutoNation and another large store which offer 35,000 to 36500. Rivard only wanted to give $31,000.
So my dad got up and said this wasn't gonna work with the trade-in price. So the sales guy brushed him off at 10 OK have a nice day and walked away. That's extremely rude. If anybody has been in the car business which I used to sell cars and or have purchased cars in the past. Usually they tell you where you need to be or they get a manager to see if they can close the deal.
He was very dismissive and cocky. I wouldn't recommend this dealership at all horrible customer service. I have never seen a dealership broom customer out so fast in car salesman term. Do you self a favor and find another dealership that will match or beat the price. I think I already found one with a dealer fee that's half the price. Had a great experience here. I'm in Fort Lauderdale and worked with Jordan. He was extremely polite and gave us a great deal on two trucks! We did all the paperwork online and in the mail. They gave me great value on my trades. I have never had an experience with a dealership that would actually lead me to write a positive review. You can't go wrong here.
Super nice people and the prices are insane. You don't even need to haggle for a good deal. They give you rock bottom prices right from the start. We will use them for all our company trucks!

When it comes to service, I have never been treated with more respect and courtesy. I am at the dealership for service monthly and I am always treated to fast and great service! I have shopped around and I can say this is the best price for oil changes and all maintenance! They also have the best pricing around! My wife surprised me with my truck and knowing her, I know that she did a ton of research.
With that said, she has nothing but high praise for the staff at Rivard GMC! The Rivard's personally handed us the keys and remember our names at every visit! Even with a mask! Now that's service.

It was about 730AM and I was greeted by the bright-eyed service advisor by the name of Houston! He listened to my concerns, walked around the vehicle with me, checked it in, as it was there for an oil change and tire rotation. After about 30 minutes he found me in their showroom and said it was recommended that I get both an air filter change and cabin filter change.
He also said they werent terrible and that I could go a few more months. Now, the prices for the official AC/Delco parts came to about $80. If one buys an off brand, the items will cost about $35 For all your service needs ask for Houston in the service drive!

I had probably the best experience ever at a dealership. Steve R and Mike C collectively made the process so smooth. We were purchasing a car for my wife. I was able to send them whatever docs needed employment/ insurance etc before arriving. my wife and I literally went in, test drove car, signed a few papers and we were out in 45 minutes. Highly recommend, staff was very professional and will definitely be going back.

This place is a joke! Went in informed the first salesman I saw that I was interested in the 2019 Rav4 (car drove and smelled like btw do with that information as you will). But what was most disheartening was after the gentleman ran around the entire dealership asking for where the RAV4 keys were all the salesman said that somebody was getting gas and that he would be back soon.
Because I originally had an appointment but I did not remember who it was with. After sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes I finally get frustrated and ask everyone where the hell the keys are. It was at that time after all other dealerships closed that a salesman pulled the keys out of his desk drawer. The fact that the salesman don't care for their fellow coworkers should show you the sleaziness of this establishment. "We where holding the car for you".
End of the day you never knew if I was actually gonna buy the car so hiding the keys from your fellow coworkers is preventing sales and maybe commission in your coworkers pockets really bad business practice especially from a fellow salesman. I wish I had the salesman's name but he was also incredibly rude blaming the whole waiting ordeal on me not remembering who my appointment was with.
Save your time and save your money and go elsewhere I'm ashamed that my insurance company recommended this place and will be contacting them to remove this dealership from their suggested sources. I hate to sound like a karen and I usually love to leave the best reviews but I simply wouldn't send somebody I even hated to buy a car here. And if they were really holding the car for me the least they could of done was washed it. As it had dust on it from how long it was sitting on the car lot!

Horrible, horrible service. I saw a 2019 Camry online and sent them my info and was contacted by one of their salesman Benjamin. Set up appointment to test drive the car. Drove 45 mins, get there and 1st salesman I encountered told me the car was sold. Finally met with Benjamin and he couldn't find the car. He had me follow him around the lot trying to locate the car.
After 15-20 mins I got frustrated and left. I called and left a vm for the used car manager and never even got a return call. I ended taking to Nate, not sure of his position but was told the car was indeed already sold. Such poor professionalism all around. There are many other choices to choose from when buying a car, steer clear of this place, what a waste of time.

Called about a car on the web site and talked to sales person with a last name of Powers. Told him it would take about an hour to get there and he assured me that the car was still there and he would pull it up and have it ready for me when I got there. When we got there he took forever to find the car. When he finally pulled it up it was filthy and covered in dead bugs.
It had 1,600 miles more than the window sticker said, had a dent and the engine was covered in sand. He told us one of the salesmen was using it for his personal car. When we said we weren't interested Powers looked like he literally couldn't care less. BTW the prices are non negotiable. What a waste of time!

They marketed a car online and in person as "Certified". Then they tell me after I purchased it that it's not certified pre-owned. Then, as I'm leaving the dealership anyway. haven flown 1,200 miles to buy the vehicle and having no other way home. they tell me the car was in a "small accident". 3 miles from the dealer, I noticed a crack in the windshield. which I repaired on my own dollar.
Then I noticed the car was shaking over 45 MPH and the check engine light had gone on. They agreed to take the car back for work (a full day affair to get the car back to them). First time, they held it for several weeks. The engine light came on during the drive home. We took it back. by this time we had tallied a total of 400 miles on the vehicle since we purchased it. essentially driving it back and forth from Tampa to Orlando where it was being stored.
They tried to charge me almost $2,000 to fix the problem now that their previous tactics pushed the car out of warranty. I pushed back and said I am not taking a car that's been in an accident, has fuel injector issues, and rattles unsafely over 45 mph. The OWNER told me he would call the police and report the car stolen. I reminded him that I have a lease agreement and it would be returned when the work was done. An hour later, the dealership called me and said "Conor, come back on Monday, the work will be done". Monday, a 4 hour round trip affair again.
I returned their car exactly how I received it and even with more gas than when I got it. I wasn't even out of the car with my kids yet when they jumped in and zipped away. The left me with my car. The receipt says "Customer declined repairs". When I asked how this was fair, the service manager Rick told me "our owner feels its cosmetic. sorry".
I couldn't fight these people with my 6 year old and 4 year old there and I figured atleast the check engine light was off. They said they fixed that problem so reluctantly, I said I'd take it and I'd figure out my next move when I wasn't around my kids. They intentionally left my truck running because their tech overrode the check engine light.
We stopped for gas on the way home and the light was right back on. This dealership practices deceptive sales tactics, fraudulently inducing customers by offering one thing online and in person (I have a picture of the car price sheet stating it was Certified Pre-Owned.), they offer something different. The owner's son, Cade, was unprofessional, unethical, and continued to worthlessly rationalize his company's treatment of me. GMC has been just as ineffective telling me to work it out with the owner.

PLEASE LET IT BE KNOWN, AS IT WAS ON THE RECORDED LINES TODAY. RIVARD AND CHEVROLET/GMC ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY HAVE RELEASED A CAR TO ME, REFUSING TO FIX AN ENGINE THAT CURRENTLY HAS FUEL INJECTION ISSUES.
They are aware of the issue and have it well documented. This dealership is unethical and I am not the first one to complain. I have already coralled 16 other people with similar experiences. Without a satisfactory outcome that protects my wife and kids from being hurt in this car, this negative review will absolutely not be the only thing that happens as it relates to my experience. The dealership AND the manufacturer should make this right.
