We had been looking for a new car for over a month. It was not until we visited Freehold Hyundai that we were able to obtain the perfect car for us. I was referred to Genesis of Freehold by the dealer that had sold the Genesis, I had put a deposit on, out from under me. I was so disappointed with the whole experience at Colonial Hyundai of Downingtown I didn't believe the folks in Freehold would be able to help me. Well.they did! The exact model and color was in stock and waiting for me the same day I inquired about it.
I was able to find my own financing through a credit union and show up with a check ready to purchase. We had come to an agreement on price, not much haggling since these cars are hard to come by and selling above MSRP. I let Matt, my sales guy, know that I could come get the car but had time constraints, my son would be getting off the bus and I needed to be home. Genesis of Freehold was close to two hours away due to construction in PA.
When I arrived I was quickly wisked off to meet Matt, transfer my insurance, turn in my trade in, sign off on the deal and be on my way. Everyone I came in contact with was so friendly and helpful and not in a "car salesman" kinda way, they were truly authentic. After the horrible experience with the first dealer these folks renewed my faith in the goodness of others. I absolutely LOVE the Genesis GV70 and am thrilled to have done business with Freehold!

Anthony at Freehold Hyundai made the car buying experience a breeze. He was one of the most pleasant car salesman we've had the pleasure of working with. Switching to a new car company can be difficult, but he made the experience easy. He took the time to answer any questions or concerns we had and even stayed late to make sure we had everything we wanted for my new vehicle. I've had the best experience that I have ever had with a car dealership at Freehold Hyundai. Specifically I would like to highlight Service Advisor Alyssa Hnatiuk. She is kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. She took the time to explain everything that was wrong with my car. There were no surprise charges. My experience a Freehold Hyundai Went without any problems. I had the pleasure of dealing with Darnesha Moore she was very professional and helpful. Since I was returning a leased vehicle I needed to lease a new vehicle she was very helpful unfortunately with the lack of cars to choose from I didn't have too many choices but they were able to meet All of my needs and I am very satisfied I definitely recommend this Hyundai dealership as I've been dealing with Many over the years this one by far surpasses all of the others with the professionalism and Time that they take to help Each customer. Even after leaving the dealer they still followed up to make sure I had no problems or questions. great experience

Super great experience! This was my first time leasing a car with Freehold Hyundai and Alex was the perfect woman to do so with; she was a joy! She was also very kind and honest and worked with me on pricing details of that sort. Plus, the other guys that assisted were super nice as well. All in all a SUPERB first-time leasing experience at Freehold Hyundai!

Went in for service on a recall for Sonata, was greeted with smiling faces, Alyssa helped me through out the service process and was great. While waiting I decided to go talk to a sales professional regarding my lease ending soon on my Santa Fe, while I didn't purchase or re-lease another Santa Fe at this visit, I spoke with an Alex Rubio, who was very helpful and knowledgeable and I look forward to working with him in the coming months. I use to go to the Hyundai dealership in Ewing but Freehold Hyundai has proven they are the better dealership to work with! Alex, see you soon. Thank you!

The last two times I took my car there, the mechanics "did not tighten" parts correctly. One time, after a complete engine failure (rods broke in my Tucson) and engine replacement they did not put on hoses correctly. Two days later, I had a radiator hose detach on the Garden State Parkway. Now two months later my check engine light popped on and after $1000 in repairs for what that said was a "leak", the service person drives the car up to me to take home.
The check engine light was still on! They said it would turn off as I drove it. It didn't and when I returned to the dealership they then discovered "something was not tightened". I was offered some free oil changes for my troubles. I declined them as a few years ago, after an oil change I had an issue. I do not trust this dealership and don't trust them touching my car. I will not buy any more Hyundai vehicles just to not have to use this local dealership.

I bought a 2013 Sonata from All American Ford, Worst experience. I brought it to Freehold Hyundai to see if I could use my extended warranty there, Percy was very helpful and made a phone call and said that I could have my car serviced there. I needed to have my backup camera fixed and also have some recall issues taken care of. The only hitch was that All American failed to send the vehicle inspection report to the warranty company causing a delay in getting my car back. Percy was excellent in keeping me informed and said not to worry that I could hold on to the loaner car.
He called me the next day to make sure everything was OK. All American should send their staff down there to see how professional they are. I have dealt with plenty of dealers and service departments over the years and it was night and day doing business with these dealers. Thanks again Percy! I intend to have my car serviced by you going forward.

I made sure I had in early appointment which we scheduled at 7:30 when they open I was the 2nd car at the Bay before they opened. This was for A problem I was having with my engine and needed diagnostic check. After dropping my car off they asked me how soon I needed it I explained to them I needed it as soon as possible which is why I had such an early appointment I did not get a phone call until 2:30 in the afternoon which at this point they told me my diagnostic check went from $135 to $585 because it's more intensive then they assumed.
I explained I'd have to call them back and let them know what I planned on doing. I called back within 30 minutes and was put on hold for over 20 they took a message and when I showed up at 6 o'clock my car was still a part said they never got the message and didn't know my intentions. Don't appreciate them changing the prices on me or being so lacking with the customer service.
I explained the exact situation what was going on with the car at 1st and when he called me he described exactly what I described to him. At that point I wish he said the diagnostics could have been that price I never would have dropped my car off

Ok next, so randomly my heated/cooled seats stopped working. So I brought it in, they told me it was covered by warranty which is great. So anyway they kept making me come back, so after about 3 months and 20 trips. I must have spent (no jokes) 100 hours sitting there. They finally told me it will be fixed after one last visit, which I was told would take about 3 hours.
It ended up taking 7 hours, anyway I at least it was finally working. But immediately after I left with my car, I thought I was hearing a lot more road noise than usual. And it was coming from the front passenger window, I thought I must have just been hearing things. About a week later I noticed that they had changed that window for a cheap aftermarket window without telling me. I'm assuming they broke it by mistake and replaced, that's probably why it took 7 hours instead of 3. Anyway I haven't confronted then about it yet, but we'll see what happens. But this is seriously unacceptable!

Keep coming back after service I received. I couldn't even believe that wiper change is such a complicated action. They've changed and old one and it starts cleaning even worse than old. After that I realized that my wipers don't properly hide and you can easily see it! On genesis it's insane! I gave them second chance after 3 time airbag sensor problem (it took them 3 visits and tonn of my nerves to finally fix it properly without popping up failure in a day after service) but this. I start regretting I've bought huyndai.

I went into the service department yesterday for the first time to go for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I have never been so disappointed and lied too by a dealership in all my experiences at Hyundai. I had to wait 2 hours to get these two services completed, which normally would take 45 mins tops (had an appointment too which is the fun part).
After waiting two hours, paying my fees and heading home. I come to realize that my tires were actually not rotated in the first place. I felt scammed by the company, because they indeed charged me for the service and didn't even complete the job. Today I went back to the dealership and thought I would be approached by management after speaking to them over the phone.
I was greeted by the service girl who checked me in and that was all. The tire rotation took 10 minutes, and not one person apologized for the inconvenience I had. Never again going back to this location for any service issues. Purchased my Hyundai from Lester Glenn and will drive the extra miles to receive a 5 star experience and actually have the job done. Rather than going to my local Hyundai dealer and being scammed and lied too.

The absolute worst service department, from the receptionist making the appointment assuring me that the parts would be in that was needed (4 days), the greeter telling me that it would be about a hour for an oil change, to the service manager telling me that they have to go and get the filter that was already supposed to be here. Maybe it's time I take my business elsewhere.not sure why I am giving one star should be minus 2 stars
