I scheduled an oil change and the business seemed very good. I was there about 10 minutes early and there were two people at the front and neither one of them addressed me. The one gal was on the telephone got finished and just kept shuffling papers and playing with stuff and the other gentleman was just standing there doing whatever he was doing. I'm not even sure.
In any event I stood there for about a minute to a minute and a half totally unnoticed. I'm not sure how that could happen because I'm not the smallest person in the world. In any event I turned around and walked out and no one even said excuse me sir I'm sorry how can we help you. I would have given them no stars but I had to give a star. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle to this business.

I have mixed feelings about the place. I went here because I was recommended to and noticed they were a bit on the expensive side, but also didn't try to have me get unneeded work either, so that came out a wash. They have a big waiting room, but even before the pandemic they seemed nonplussed to have anyone using it as their car was worked on - but didn't offer me alternatives, either, such as a pick-up service.
I came to them for everything for about 3 years but they never remembered me, which normally I wouldn't fault them for considering, but I once had an issue that they weren't sure they solved and reassured me I could call back if it came back. It did the next day, and I did - and it was like they'd never heard of me. I had to explain everything from scratch, to the same guy I spoke to the previous day.
One time they tried to call me 5 minutes before my appointment and left a voicemail to find out if I was still arriving, because they could use my appointment spot for someone else if I wasn't going to show up. I didn't answer the phone since I was driving and literally on Wolfert Ave, right outside their door, arriving on time. They seemed much happier to be servicing company trucks for people with fleets as they greeted them enthusiastically when they came in the door, and seemed to be actively brushing me off.so I left them to it. I don't go here anymore. Not a fan of the owner responses I'm seeing here recently, either.

I have been taking my new and old cars to Broadway Auto for years. They are professional, honest and go out of their way to ensure good service. My 2009 FIT recently developed a mystery noise. The staff took it for a test drive, put on lift and discovered a loose part. Fixed the issue. Charged me for about a hour of labor. I trust this business.

And look at this. They essentially called me a liar. Look back at their Facebook posts and then Google reviews and you can see they contradicted themselves by saying they were fully staffed on Facebook, but then claiiming they were operating on limited office staff in their response to somebody else's review.

Lousy $15 car wash, nobody to even complain to, including this foamy good left on my driver's side mirror. Unable to get receipt at kiosk, poor maintenance probably, doubt I'll ever go back, and you can bet I'll tell everyone not to go there. Poo poor poor Figured I'd swing in as on my way, instead of going to Hoffman in Latham as I usually do, screw me once.never again

This shop and its staff extended itself above and beyond what we ever could have imagined - and, on a holiday weekend, no less! This past Friday afternoon, my car overheated as we headed upstate on 87. We really thought our much needed escape from the City would be ruined, as most shops had already closed. Triple A towed us to Broadway Auto at 1PM ( just as they were about to leave early for the long holiday weekend).
My heart sank, fearing our weekend was ruined as I figured that they would not have time to take care of us. Boy, was I wrong. Despite delaying the start of their weekend, they made us feel welcome and told us that they would do everything to save OUR weekend! They literally stopped everything to check out our car and fix our thermostat immediately.
The price was very reasonable, but, what really got us was how they stopped everything (including their own holiday weekend plans) to save ours. Thank you so much, Broadway Auto Clinic!

Went here recently to deal with an alignment issue. Went to two places previously that failed to correct the problem. Thought I was going nuts but then brought it to the broadway auto clinic and they fixed it. Drives great now (and straight)! Good customer service and I had a good chat about my car experiences with Sandra who was very helpful. I'll be coming here from now on.

I've had my vehicle now for about four years, and it's about that time to look for something new and exciting to drive. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to miss my Audi, but it's time to move on! I've used Broadway Auto Clinic to maintain my car over the years, and they continue to deliver the best service. Their work is always quality at a great price, and this is why I'll end up getting top dollar on the value of my car because Broadway Auto has taken such good care of it.

Rick and Sandra's business focuses on repairing what the car NEEDS, and nothing else.
You can always expect that they are going to give you a straight up answer to your questions, and if you don't need the repair, they're going to tell you. When it comes to diagnostics, repair, and even aftermarket expertise, Broadway Auto for sure.

I was looking for a reliable garage in Albany and this looks like the place. It is busy and has a knowledgeable staff. I will be getting my GTR for an inspection sticker, and some sport springs for my GT500. I will update my review after these services. As far as other comments go, people should stick to the services provided, not their opinion of what someone said.
It is difficult enough finding a garage that does not rip you off. As always, I advise to get a written estimate and find others who have had multiple jobs done at a specific vendor.

(Audi B7 A4) I purchased a cold air intake and Milltek exhaust system from ECS tuning and the owner at broadway spearheaded the entire installation. They also installed a stage 1 APR tune. The price was less than I expected which was very refreshing coming from a mechanic shop. Very professional staff and the fact it's a family owned and operated business is a huge plus. I will definitely be returning for future business. They also stayed open late so that I could get my car within the day!

The customer service is superb. Staff will contact you promptly with updates or to return your phone call. When a repair is completed, the staff ensure you are not rushed and explain every step of service. My experiences have always been positive and I will continue to have my Audi serviced at this location.

I have been bringing my car here for five years. It started as convenience but it is all about trust now. I know nothing about cars and Sandra has had several conversations about how to prioritize our car maintenance with the safety of my kids in mind. They are always understanding that I often need to save up for basic maintenance. There was even a Friday evening they stayed open late to help me with a battery issue. I had both my kids in the car and was on my way out of town. Honesty and trust is everything with this family run business!

Customer service is EXCELLENT here - Rick and Sandra always make sure that you leave the shop happy. They've been taking great care of our VW's (my husband's Jetta and my Rabbit) ever since the cars came off warranty. Their shuttle service is prompt and efficient; they drop me off right outside of my work in downtown Albany. If I'm not leaving the car for the day and am waiting for it to be serviced, it's great to be at a mechanic where the waiting room is clean and spacious and there are plenty of magazines or TV to keep me entertained. I'm 100% happy to be a customer.

The best customer service, best price! We have been using Warren Tire for years and they've always given us a special discount. I read some reviews for Broadway Auto Clinic online and saw they are a preffered tirerack.com installer, figured I'd give them a try. I emailed them for a quote and they beat the tirerack.com price AND the Warren Tire price with my company discount!
We dropped the trucks off and I discovered the owners actually work there and manage customer service, it was great! I knew there were going to be 0 mistakes with my studded snow tires because the owners were right there, managing the staff. My trucks were back on the road within an hour of dropping them off and we have now just been thru the 5th snowiest February on record and my drivers are raving about the snow tires! They must be saving a ton of money with those solar panels to keep their prices so low!

Overall excellent service, communication, labor, and pricing. Some may complain that 90 an hour is high, but I would say this is about average if you want your work done properly and with care. I have been here various times, and each time had a great experience. I have to say there communication with their customers is impeccable. Any question I had was answered, and in a timely fashion, even if I left several messages. I highly suggest taking a trip to Broadway Auto for all your repair needs.

I've had numerous things done at this shop. Brakes, wheel bearings, catalytic converters. Their prices are sometimes higher than other shops but their work is top notch and worth the price for the piece of mind. They also specialize in audis and VW which was my first reason to go to them The owners work in the shop everyday and are seem to genuinely care about what goes on. They warranty their work and seem to be an honest shop. Something hard to come by these days and well deserving of praise.

This is my favorite auto repair shop. I feel like I have been looking for a place like this forever. They just moved from the corner of Clinton and Broadway in downtown Albany to about 1 mile north in Menands. They are now at the corner of Wolfert Ave and Broadway behind Stewart's. If you work in dowtown though, the run a shuttle bus between their shop and downtown business district, so you can easily drop you car off during the weekday.
Their new location has a regular repair bays, a quick lube, a car wash, and a comfortable waiting room. They have a dog wash too. As a woman I feel like I've been lied to and patronized at many a repair shop. Not so at the B'way Auto Clinic. I feel as though they have gone out of their way to make their shop more inviting to those of us, like me, who are anxious about the car repair experience.
For example, last time I got my oil changed the mechanic came into the waiting room with my dirty air filter to ask me if I would also like to replace it. He explained how often they should be replaced and how much it cost. He also asked me what kind of oil I wanted (synthetic/non-synthetic) and kindly (in a non-condescending way) explained why I might want one kind over the other.
The owners (a husband and wife team) are there every time I've been. All of the emplyees are friendly and respectful. Their's is the kind of business I love to support.
