The mission of the Animal Protective Foundation of Schenectady is to address pet overpopulation and animal suffering through education and appropriate action, to enhance human/animal relationships, and to provide care to animals in need. The health and background of the animals brought to us varies greatly, making our first priorities for them safety, comfort and medical care.

Capitaland made this process painless and quick. They were more than fair with my trade in and had me in my new 2022 GMC Terrain in less than two days. Arrived for the appointment, vehicle was immediately taken in to perform the work. The technician came out to discuss the details and let me know what the options were. Decision was made and the work was performed. The price was as estimated. No surprises. Thank you! I will definitely go back to Capitalland GMC for the next scheduled service.

Scott was an absolute professional and honest. In a hard market for consumers it's nice to know you are still important to their business. Thanks for a fair deal and smooth process. Updated: Sales may be good but the service department is sub par. After the Yukon broke down with 6000 miles they weren't much help. No loaner or rental and very inconsiderate given the situation. Bringing it to Goldstein for the warranty. Goldstein had no problems providing a loaner.

After 20 plus years of doing business with capitol land motors with multiple vehicle purchases and numerous service department visits I've slowly but surely have seen this gmc dealership deteriorating over the years especially service dept! Certainly needs a serious overhaul! that's for sure.will be taking my business to another local dealership in the area sad to say

This place is A M A Z I N G! From the service manager Bill to the service advisor Amber. oh and we can't forget the Certified Sales Consultant Rick! These guys are TOP NOTCH! They always and I stress ALWAYS make sure I am satisfied with their work and always following up in my vehicle and if I need anything. I've been coming here for three years and I wouldn't go anywhere else for a Subaru.
I am constantly telling people to go there to understand that they make sure you leave satisfied as a customer and continue to come back for more. When subaru says "share the love" this dealership is the epitome of what this means.

With a lease about to expire on a 2017 Forester, I had been to where I leased it a nd they didn't have one I liked on the lot so decided to try Capitaland. There I leased a 2020 Forester for less than the offer on a 2019 at the other dealer. Now to see if I'm as happy with the service and all departments as I was at the former dealership.

I just had the worst service EVER. I had an appointment for a recall update at 9:30am. After watching 5 people come in after me and leave, the woman came out to say- at 10:45, that my car was being worked on and would be out soon. I looked and my car was in the parking lot where I left it. When I handed over my keys, I also asked for an inspection too.
Then she said that only a few of their mechanics are qualified to do inspections and that's why so many people went ahead of me. The manager came out and said all of their mechanics can do inspections and that it was his fault. When I asked why so many people went ahead of me, he had no answer. I would only go there again if I had hours to waste and was in the mood to be lied to.

Took my 2018 Subaru there for warranty issue. Had 8:30 appt. Left car they didnt take it in until 3:30. When I went to pick it up i couldnt find it so i went back in for assistance and was told to use my key fob to find it. It was so far away i had to use panic button to find it. Parking lot was very icy and poorly lit where they had my car. There were plenty of spaces near the service dept. Went back in to express my displeasure no apology or explanation.

I will give them a 4 star for now, just waiting to see how my oil changes and service goes with them. I ended up stopping in on a whim because I really loved the look of the Subaru Crosstrek and what everyone said about them. They handed me the keys to test drive right away (by myself, which was so nice).and I instantly fell in love with the car. After dealing with a previous dealers BS on the car I currently owned, I was ready to get rid of it.
We talked numbers and they adjusted a few things. I worked with David & Chris and they were very accommodating (especially towards military service members). There's also a pet cat who lives there. SOLD! I wanted to add a few things to my Subaru and they worked it out. I was thinking it would have taken a week or so to do, they said I could pick it up the next day if I wanted to and if I had to drop it back off, they would provide me a loaner car until the items were added to my new one. Everyone was professional. I will update my review once I receive my oil changes and state inspections. Love my new car.

By far the worst sales department that I have experienced. We started here because it is the closest to us, but it turned out to be a waste of time. We were promised good prices for buying two Subarus at once, but once we talked numbers, our trade-ins were low-balled and not even a penny was taken off of the sticker prices. When we asked about other dealerships offering sale prices we were told that they would find a way to mark up the price.
We gave the department three chances to come down on the price. When we went elsewhere for a better price, I was told that they ordered the car and was verbally berated. We saved $4000 on the price of two Subarus at another dealership. It was such a horrible experience that I wouldn't even visit their brand new service department.

Service at Capitaland was excellent. Rod was incredibly helpful and knowledgable and I was able to leave with a safe, reliable, AND beautiful vehicle I could afford. He was very patient and steered me in the right direction when an unforeseen hiccup occurred with transferring my insurance. This is the first time I've bought a car completely on my own, as well as the first time I have had a car with so many gadgets. Rod took the time to show me how to utilize some of the Bluetooth technology featured (I may or may not have used it to call everyone on my way home to brag about my sweet new car).
He even helped me find my work parking sticker from my old car after it had already been discarded so I wouldn't have to buy a new one! I am totally in love with my Subaru! Thank you!

The car salesman could not answers my questions about some of the features of the 2016 WRX because they just got them in. He didn't even bother to look up my questions. He also would not let a test drives before we have numbers on them. Who is going to spend time negotiating numbers on a car they are not 100% sure they want, that is more than $30,000?

I recently had a great car buying experience at Capitaland Motors Subaru. My sales rep, Rod, is very professional and knowledgable. He went above and beyond to drive 30 min to pick me up when my new car was delivered to their lot. He also took the time to give me a crash course on all my new gadgets in the car. The business manager, George, was also exceptional. For these reasons and more I will be bypassing a closer Subaru dealership to service my car at Capitaland.
