FRAUD, CHEATING. AVOID This CENTER. Still my brand new car is with them since last 4 months. Every time they say it's NATIONAL BACK ORDER. They may be taken my car parts to put to someone else. Definitely they are NOT professional. It's very minor accident to my brand new car and it's been 4 months and they are saying still waiting for the PARTS. In the current situation they can't deliver my car and you can imagine 4 months without the car.
It's minor accident to repair. Please AVOID this center. They never deliver on-time as my other neighbor said but I thought to give a chance by considering it is HONDA authorized center. Look like it is NOT and No commitments from them. Please avoid this center and save yourself

First off, I want to say I'm very review driven and the low amount of reviews had me slightly worried. I was very pleased with our service, they deserve a 10rating. I took my 2014 Mazda 6 in for a new clutch on April 26th, which I'm proud to say 183k on original clutch. Joel Garcia was our service advisor and was very pleasant to work with. He sent us videos of the vehicle and some discrepancies that needed addressed which were legitimate things, not like most places trying to upsale to make money.
They sent me a link giving us the option to have the items fixed if we chose to, with no pressure to have it done. Prices here are significantly lower than other local dealerships, and it's a family owned place so they actually care about how you are treated. If I need any more service that I am unable to or just don't want to do I'll definitely be back.

This dealership has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I am in the military and move frequently. They will only do business with the local area and won't even make an exception for military personnel. They are unprofessional and will never receive my business. I'll be happy to purchase a vehicle elsewhere. Avoid at all costs! I will take my business to Jeff Haas Mazda since they are far more superior in Customer Service.

Took my car in for service and really enjoyed it. Fresh hot coffee was available. There was even cold bottled water available. All of this was complimentary. The staff followed all covid guidelines. FAST & FRIENDLY SERVICE IS WHAT I RECEIVED. Way to go guys, love this place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! get a Mazda & enjoy the experience. I returned today for service. It was great as usual. Fast & Friendly service. These guys are very knowledgeable. GREAT JOB!

Came in and purchased a 2022 CX-5 for my wife and had a wonderful experience. Prices (one of the lowest in the area) were transparent and I had no surprises when it was time to sign. It was a pleasure working with Carlos (Sales) and Chris (Manager). We are really enjoying our new CX-5; it drives really tight and fun to drive.

I was nervous But troughout the process he helped me very patiently and clear my all doubts, financing and my insurance everything done smoothly. I love the experience and everything. They are thiefs. Just for looking at my car they charged me $179.65 because I declined the price they told me to fix my car, which was also extremelly high. My complete family used to come here. But we all will never come back again. Not to any Russels & Smith. They just lost 10 of my family members that used to come here too. And I will definetelly tell all my friends how bad this place is.
I will post this review to all my social media and share with friends. We will never come back again. This is not okay to steal from descent people like this! We were loyal customer sice 2017. But not any more.

I had a wonderful experience purchasing my Mazda CX-5 from this dealership. Gilton Hugget, the sales consultant, went above and beyond to ensure that all my questions are being answered and all my concerns addressed. The purchase experience is just as important as making the right vehicle choice, and I couldn't have asked for a better sales consultant than Gilton.

I love the service department at this dealership. They do a video inspection of your car and send it to you in a text so you can see everything they are checking. The next text is an itemization of recommended work to be done with the price quote. You can accept or decline. The service department is very clean and professional. I look forward to purchasing my next vehicle from this dealership.

Very sketchy activity here. Came in car shopping but ended up leaving to explore other options ( keep in mind I left about 20 mins after arriving because they didn't have the car I wanted in stock). A few weeks later a hard inquiry on my credit report popped up even though I NEVER signed anything for them to pull it. All we did is talk about the car and what the starting MSRPs were.
I called the dealership and asked why did they do this without my consent and the salesman admitted to doing it and said "well you came here a few years ago and we just wanted to see if you would get pre-approved. it's just a soft inquiry. We did just re-pulled your information." Basically admitting to doing some fraudulent things. LIKE WHAT?! I would never consider coming back here again.

I'm very disappointed in this dealership. My husband and I actually signed papers with the "intent" to purchase and had financing in place to close the deal. Monday morning received a call that the car was sold, because the dealership did not want to do a deep cleaning on a 2021 CX-30 because of the smoke smell and because we didn't want to use their financing.
I hope it wasn't anything else. Instead of explaining their intent to NOT deep clean the car, the Sales Manager and Andrew decided to sale the car to another individual and NOT apologize or provide other sale options to us. I guess our money was not good enough for this dealership because we decided to finance with our credit union. Take away, do NOT sign any paperwork at this dealership as they do NOT honor their agreement. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE at its best!
And yes we do know our credit worth and they wanted to offer us an interest rate other than the Mazda special offer. When we left the dealership we knew this would happen based on how they treated us. To add when we made an inquiry on the car they advise NO cars were available, but then called us back with this offer so we drove 25 mins to test drive and purchase the car. Not a good experience all around.

Just recently bought my lovely CX-5 and couldn't be happier. The place is really nice, all the employers I interacted with were courteous and welcoming, and prices were competitive. I bought a used car here in 2016. I also recommended to my boyfriend to sell his car here in 2021 and he did. I used to get my Mazda car serviced here for many years and the only reason I don't get it serviced anymore is because I don't need/have a car. I usually go in with my mind already made up on what I want to do and I like that they never try to convince me to get something more than I want.
I have dealt with 2 other car dealerships in Houston but this one is my favorite and I will probably be a lifelong customer. I recommend them to all my friends that are new to Houston.

I drove a Mazda3 for 15 years and loved it! I was ready to buy a CX30 and went to this dealership, where the salesman was so apathetic and didn't seem to want to sell anything. He said inventory is low and check back from time to time. No effort at all! I walked out feeling like he either didn't think I was going to buy a car or he didn't care to make a sale.
I didn't believe his story about there not being any inventory. I wrote the GM Steve Rodriguez about my experience and he never even responded. So then I went to Toyota and wow! Not only did they treat me with professionalism but they went out of their way to find a vehicle for me. Tsk tsk, Mazda! SMH

My wife and I purchased a CPO Mazda from Russell and Smith this weekend. The entire process was smooth and easy and the people we worked with were very friendly. After they closed we found an issue with the vehicle, unfortunately. We came in Monday morning and they resolved the issue above and beyond my expectations. To be clear, they resolved the issue in a way that they didn't need to do but chose to take care of their customers in such a way that earned them customers for life. I would highly recommend Russell and Smith for your next car purchase.
