Brought in our car because of an airbag recall. We got a call 2 hours later saying they didn't have a part they needed to replace it (wtf did it take them 2 hours to realize that?) waste of time. They told us they would call us when the part arrived. well it has been well over a month now and guess what? NO ONE HAS CALLED. Real professionals.

This is the third time I have been here just to get screws for a part that is covered under Kia's warranty. No one here seems competent enough to do their job. No one knows what's going on, they are extremely unorganized. You ask a question and no matter who you ask, they need to consult someone else. At this very moment there is an associate from another Kia dealership here to get parts and they can't even help him. I'm in customer service business and this is not how you service your customer. I would steer clear. Much better experiences at Roseville Kia.

Wow this dealership is a piece of work! Called to asked for an EV6, the guy picked up the call kept saying no body has them in stock and I had to preorder. I said I'm good, and he goes "so do you want an EV6 or not?" I said I'm ok, some other dealers have them in stock then he HUNG UP on me. The rudest sales person award goes to this guy for sure.

Brought my Kia in and paid for a tire to be patched. A couple months later I'm replacing the tire because of irrepairable damage Kia did to my original tire. I'm out the cost of the patch and I have to buy a new tire because of Kia's service departments incompetence. If you want a job done right, go somewhere else. If you want to have your issue be blown out into multiple visits to fix something that should have been fixed right the first time.
Then go ahead and waste your time at this dealership. Sometimes the juice isn't worth the squeeze. So they got me, don't let them get you. Just bring your car in and wait 8 hours so we can inspect it then maybe my boss will let me refund you 30$ for that 200$ tire we destroyed. Well.is that what you want to deal with?

Purchased a 2022 Stinger from Shane and the sales experience from start to finish was a great experience. When I came into the dealership to test drive the car, Shane was more than happy to hand me the keys and let me go on a drive by myself to check the car out. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy the car and I came back a few days later to purchase the car.
He was able to give me an amazing deal on the car and I couldn't say no. Shane was able to keep my car on hold until I was ready to purchase it which I really appreciated it and he filled it up with a full tank of gas before I signed the papers. Overall a great buying experience and if I was in the market for another KIA, this is my go to dealership.
I also took my car into servicing for my first oil change and had an appointment set for 3:30 pm. I brought my car in at 7 am when they open up since I work nearby and dropped it off thinking it would get done around 4 or 5 pm. Got a call back at 11 from my service advisor saying the car was ready. The in and out process from dropping the car off and picking it up from the service advisors was a super easy process.
Also a service technician gave me a hot wheel of my Stinger which really made my day. Overall the service and sales experience at Folsom Lake Kia is unmatched at any other dealership I've been to and I'm more than happy with my experience.

We called Folsom Kia when we were sitting at Roseville Kia feeling frustrated and dropped everything and came over to see Andy. It was a night/day difference. Andy was amazing. He took very good care of us. He treated us with respect and listened to our needs. He found us a beautiful vehicle. I appreciated how he was there from start to finish. I came back to get assistance with an alert on the dashboard and Andy was there for me. Stellar service and kindness. Which goes far as my husband and I are in sales as well. WE WILL BE BACK. And we will refer everyone we know to Andy AND Folsom Kia. Thank you for what you do!

Two thumbs down. I was looking for my battery parts replacement and the desk lady from the Parts Department provided me the wrong item that does not fit the cable. The gentleman discovered that she made a terrible mistake, so he immediately issue a refund on my card, and provide me the correct replacement product information. I appreciate that he corrects the issue but only if he could at least apologize to me afterwards for the bad service I received. Where are the basic human communications skill today?

WORST SERVICE EVER! I brought my Kia for routine service yesterday. I had no issues on arrival. As I was driving out my tire pressure monitor indicated a problem with 1 tire. I had not left the property. I immediately returned and Alejandro the advisor said it was nothing and it would reset. He took the vehicle and came back a few minutes later. The tire was completely flat this morning and NO ONE at the dealer would help me!
They insisted it wasn't their fault! They refused to tow it to the dealer. Refused ALL ASSISTANCE! I waited on hold for the service manager for almost an hour! He had no intent on speaking with me! I'm a long time customer but well never be back!

OMG third time trying to use their service department only to be disappointed. I understand that everyone is short handed right now. My problem is how this dealership deals with it. They don't book service appointments well, and expect customers to pay the price of their poor planning. It takes 2-4 weeks to schedule an appointment-OK I can live with that.
But when I show up for an afternoon appointment where we earlier agreed I would wait for the car, only to be told "you're ok if we keep it a couple days -right?". "We need that much time to diagnose you're AC because we already have 8 cars ahead of you". Every time I try these guys, they disappoint. Even though I'm under warranty, I'm being trained to pay for better service with an independent shop. I like my Kia but if I'd known service was this bad I wouldn't have bought one. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Absolutely horrible customer service here. Everyone is in a bad mood, they just jump to putting you on hold on the phone without asking, which normally wouldn't bother me much, but it definitely added to me feeling absolutely disrespected and feel like I'm bothering them for giving them business. After my experience here, I had the pleasure of working with John L Sullivan Kia, and they were WAY more helpful and kind in helping me. Get better business practices here, you'll lose a lot of clientele if you keep disrespecting your customers.

Would NEVER buy a car from them EVER AGAIN! Bought a brand new K900. still under warranty all of a sudden would not start. went back and forth for months with them telling me they couldn't figure it out. so I should just file the lemon law! Well tried that only to be told by Kia's lemon law case person that I did not qualify because the dealership had not done 1 single repair! My car was towed 4 times I drove it in multiple times. I guess this is their answer is me "going away".6 months of COMPLETE BS!

R.C. Oneil is my guy for my second car purchase here, held a car for me gave me a fair in both directions deal as he did last time. He is hard worker and a great guy to buy a car from and I can be hard to impress I'm getting finicky in my old age. Never had any issues both times fast and seamless deal making, excellent customer service and a honest guy all around. I don't recommend them today. I've been waiting for 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and the girls working at the service counter are trying to say that's normal, like I've never been here before. Along with all the other annoyed customers they should just own it and be honest instead of telling people a few more minutes or not much longer as another hour goes by. Stop blowing smoke up peoples ass. Why schedule an appointment?

We went Folsom Lake to get a specific car. We traveled from Lake County and were so happy we did. First we were not immediately approached and were given time to look around. We went in and asked for sales and met Scott Jr. The rest of the process, loan paperwork, and financing was easy and seamless. Scott was there for every step. Matt did the final process of financing.
He explained the extras insurances and warranty packages. For a finance guy he was so friendly and easy to talk to. The cars are clean and they keep the sales area clean. Masks are available for those who prefer them. All of the staff were happy and helpful. We had the best experience buying a car from here. Thank you for making this car experience exciting and happy. I am so happy we bought our car from here. I am still smiling. This will always be my first stop to purchase a car.

I am unimpressed with the service department at this Kia. I scheduled an appointment on 11/12 at 9:10 am. I was advised that they couldn't provide me with a rental until my car had a serviceable issue that was diagnosed. My car was not diagnosed until Tuesday 11/16. While I waited I had to pay out of pocket for my rental. I had called each day, waited 5 minutes or more for someone in the service department to actually answer the phone to be told that they can leave my tech Zach a note.
Not only that, but Zach doesn't work on Tuesdays and the mechanics only work Monday through Friday. Questions were rarely answered on Mondays, and if they were, the answers were wrong and I didn't receive a follow up. Yesterday I had called and asked for whom ever was working on my car because Zach had his day off and I still have the rental. Alejandro said they couldn't pay for a rental for more than 5 days. Zach did state he would be able to take care of the rental from 11/23 until my car was fixed which is why I provided this one star review.
I trusted Kai in making this purchase of a brand new car and all I have been is disappointed with their service. Heed my warning if you choose this location to do any servicing or purchasing a new car that might have a problem that is under warranty.

If I could give Folsom Lake Kia ZERO stars I would. My father and I went in the morning of 9/8/21 and had a horrible experience. First off, when we arrived there was no one there to greet us as we would walk in and out of the building multiple times to try and find a sales person. After waiting for about 10-15 minutes the manager Eric Watkins assisted us.
I went in wanting to see the 2022 Kia Seltos. Eric got the car from the lot down the street and brought it over. When we got ready to discuss numbers, Eric told us word for word "I am not here to negotiate with you." Excuse me? My father and I were just in total shock. If so, his position is pointless and we should've just stuck with Carvana if we don't want to talk numbers.
We understand that there's a car shortage but his frustration is not our problem. On the other hand, there was another salesperson (I'm assuming) there who was checking the sales tax/ fees and was just so casually going in on his breakfast. Eating with one hand and typing with the other. Just overall very unprofessional for a dealership. Overall it was an unpleasant experience and we do not recommend Folsom Lake Kia to anyone else.

We were in the market for a new car, and with limited funds, there was not a lot for us to choose from. And coupled with the chip shortage, the prices (even for a used car) were just unbelievable. We have tried about 3 dealers with no success.we just couldn't find an agreeable price to settle with. And as a last resort, after much research and discussion with the family, we decided to go to Folsom Lake Kia.
There wasn't much movement in the place. It was probably the summer heat.all the sales people were inside. And not much stock too! (Much like all the dealerships we visited before Kia - empty spacious parking lots). We looked around and found the car we wanted to see - a Kia Niro LXS. So I went inside their office building to inquire and it was Eric Watkins who took the time to see to me.
He gave us a few figures to work off and we left to discuss it with the family. We came back after two days, after 6:15pm and Eric started the paperwork. Unfortunately, my son had his credit locked, so that didn't help the purchase process. But Eric was patient. We unlocked my son's report but was told it can only be accessed the next day. Eric just rescheduled us after two days.
When we came back on our third visit, things went more smoothly. Eric got the paperwork through again and success! My kids got approved with their purchase. Three times, indeed, is a charm! After signing the paperwork with Finance, Eric gave us the car packet, keys and a fully serviced, new Kia Niro LXS!
