While everyone was nice upon check-in, the car I rented was damaged upon pickup. Generally not a big deal, it was still drivable. Everyone assured me that it was properly recorded and notated EVERYWHERE. That very clearly the damage was before me. We filled out the damage form and everything. Now, months later, I am being blamed for the damage because the location didn't actually do their due diligence in recording it.
I tried to call the office today and the person on the phone was flat out rude and refused to help or try to look up any information. I would avoid this location and Budget in general. (I also was charged an extra $110 which was corporate's fault, when I called they said it was just an accidental mistake, they couldn't tell me what the charge was for though).

Reserved a 7 seater and got there to find out all they had was a 6 seater. Was quoted $415 online and then got charged over $700 when we arrived. The service was subpar with very rude workers at the counter. Was told we could come back and exchange the vehicle for a 7 seater but when we did was told what they gave us a 7 seater when it clearly only had 6 seat belts and again the lady at the counter was extremely rude and when we explained the situation she told us that "that wouldn't of happened" basically calling us liars to our face.
The entire experience with budget was the worse customer service experience I've ever had and I will never rent a car through them again. Good luck if you choose to rent a car with them.

Henry is the most knowledgeable, helpful person! I can't say thank you enough for his assistance today. I am visiting LA and had rented a vehicle at LAX. I was afraid that the agent at LAX had started a new reservation instead of using my prepaid reservation because Budget was sending emails that I still needed to pick up my car. I called Budget customer service twice today and was on hold for over 45 minutes both times until I gave up. Thankfully, Henry took the time to look into this, resolve the problem, explain the details, and give me a hard copy of the reservation to confirm all is correct now. Sometimes it takes a real person to check into an issue, and he did it with concern and understanding.

If you value good customer service, do not consider this Budget Truck Rental Location. If the nature of your rental need is time sensitive, I highly suggest you look elsewhere from Budget Truck Rentals. The truck I reserved was not there on pickup, and customer service told me via email afterwards that "we understand it was inconvenient but the on line system does explain to you in terms and conditions that it is not a guarantee on locations, dates, and times." My experience: I reserved a truck for the day I was to be out of my apartment and into my new one in another city.
I arrived 10 minutes prior to opening so that my move would be timely -- I had friends waiting to help that morning, and I had to be in my new city before 5:00 to get the keys. When I arrived, the front desk informed me that they did not have a truck for me, and offered no further help other than handing me a pamphlet and telling me to take it up with customer service.
About an hour after contacting customer service, I was informed by the Inventory Specialist Rebecca that she had found me a truck at a Budget across town. This was a lie. I immediately called the new location and was informed that the reservation was in fact transferred, however they did not have a truck for me. I attempted to call Rebecca back no fewer than 10 times, which most calls were outright ignored with a few being clearly answered and hung up on. U-haul had no trucks available until 3 days later, and Penske had one available at over triple the price I was going to be paying Budget.
With no other choices, I had to pay the difference. Budget offered me $250 for my trouble. The difference between the truck I reserved with them and Penske was about $1000, so you can see why this is still upsetting.
