They low ball trades and make excuses why my 1023 mile 2021Buick won't sell in North Dallas so I buy new acura anyways. I take to another dealer and got 7k more for Buick. Year later try to trade 10k mile Acura I bought from them and they are 3k less than fair market value and use same excuse that we can't overpay for any car. Overpay was wrong wording for them to say.
They have exact same used 21' ILX on their lot for 33k. 6k less than they offered me. Nice lot but used car appraisal manager/sales mgrs talks down to people and tries to explain why he is right and customer is clueless based on trade value. No worries. Lesson learned second time around.

The experience was so simple. Adam was knowledgeable about the vehicles and answered all of my questions. Both he and Justin were very strait forward throughout the entire process, which was not our experience at another Acura dealership, making the whole process much more enjoyable. We will definitely return to Goodson first for any future car buying.

Our experience with Goodson was the best car buying experience we've ever had. We appreciated the upfront and honest pricing (unlike their competitors in the Dallas area where they would add in "$7,000 market adjustments" or "mandatory packages that Acura mandates" to the price of the car). Their communication and consistent check-ins on when our car would be delivered were much appreciated (since we are not from the Dallas area and had to plan to drive 6 hours).
And they truly bent over backwards making sure that we were cared for and had a place to work while our new car was being detailed. We currently don't live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area (we live 6 hours away) but when we're in need of buying another car we will absolutely visit Goodson again.

Goodson is the best experience I have EVER had with ANY dealership let alone my experience with Acura, I did not even know that dealership service could exceed my expectations the way they do. I recall being driven to breakfast when they we're working on my car last and picked up upon my call to them very efficiently for free. My car is always spotless when they clean it for me. Everything is reasonably priced and they work fast; and never try to upsell me. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Excellent experience I highly recommend.

Excellent Excellent service! My RDX was due for an oil change, I showed up WITHOUT an appointment Friday afternoon on Memorial Day weekend. ALL safety checks and oil change were performed in about an hour. The employees at Goodson Acura are the absolute best! I'd rather drive 30 miles for Goodson Acura service than 10 miles to a closer dealership. Bobby Carrol and his team really are the friendliest and most professional I have ever met. OUTSTANDING service! Thank you guys! You can put me down as a customer for life!

Michelle, the service advisor at Goodson, gave me what was by far the experience I have had in some time. Very clear of what needed to be done and the time required. She did not hesitate to come out and greet meet as soon as she was done with her previous customer. Soon as my car was serviced, she was very thorough and patient with explaining what was done. walked me to my vehicle and wished me a wonderful weekend. that's legendary customer service. thank you Michelle

My service experience was absolutely amazing. My service writer Khane was great! He kept me informed of the progress. Gave me a return daye that was right on the money! The most amazing part was the loaner car! That means a lot to me when I choose a dealership for my service work. They were going to give me a loaner for just an oil change . Then to top it off they brought my car to me because I was so busy I couldn't make it to the dealership to pick it up! I give 4 thumbs if I had them! Keep up the good work Goodson Acura!

I had an awesome visit. My service tech that greeted me was top notch. Very professional and he had a bubbly personality. Only concerned I had from today was one customer bought an extremely large dog in the waiting area (wasn't a service animal). He wasn't aggressive with me nor anyone else. But he did start sniffing the lady next to me bag of snacks. I think a dog that large shouldn't be allowed in this type of environment. Other than I have no other concerns.

Wow! I've been to several dealerships in the last couple of months and had several bad situations. As soon as I entered Goodson Acura I felt a different vibe. Very peaceful and welcoming. Met Brandon and James, both made things happen, we were able to work numbers, no back and forth. Straight shooters 100% of the time. Also met Giles in financing, awesome guy! Loved my experience there. Recommend them. They have a new customer for life.

I am very grateful for the customer service given by Goodson Acura, especially Zach. I know the mechanics work hard but Zach made the repair process much easier. He was very attentive and called every time was needed to give me an update. Also, Goodson Acura provided me with a car so I could take care of my business while my car was repaired. Once, they finish my car also received a wash Peace in mind!

I was a loyal customer and I even recently bought a second acura. Last week I take it in for servicing. My usual guy has left so I get a random new person. Ok no problem. This person seems very unsure what is going on. I asked for the basic service due and to also check a specific tire which I've had to air up twice in the last week. Ok. I wait.
They do the above servicing. It's all good. I pay. Today my tire is flat. I want to thank them for wasting 2 hours of my time. Now I have to go get the tire actually checked and possibly replaced since they didn't bother to do it the first time. I'm done with this place.

When I went to purchase my new Acura, I went to Goodson first. I looked around in the lot and saw salespeople around but no one offered to help me. I don't know if it's because of my skin color or something else, but I was upset. I went to Vandergriff and purchased my brand new Acura there. Fast forward a few months and I was near Goodson and needed an oil change.
So I decided to give them another try. I had a good experience there and continue to take my vehicle there for service. Their waiting room and customer amenities are much nicer than Vangergriff's, and my advisor Hayley is easy to work with. I don't know if I would give the sales team another try, but I will definitely stick with the service team.

I bought a 2020 Acura from Goodson Acura in Dallas. After I paid the car off I expected to get the vehicle title of which I was charged in the buyers contract for them to process. I never received my title when the last payment was made (over six months ago) and got no help from Goodson Acura to help obtain the title. I now have to go to the Texas DMV and file for a lost title. In my opinion, service after the sale is lacking at Goodson and I would not recommend them for your car buying experience.

Courtney Colston is a great sales consultant. If you have a chance, would recommend you go to him when buying an Acura, new or used. He helped my family with a few concerns about a 2017 Acura we recently bought, but has been in contact with us and has resolved all of those needs with patience and courtesy. He even drove us from Mesquite back to Uptown in the car we bought to complete our deal. Great service here overall.

I have been taking my 2009 Acura MDX here for oil change, tire rotation and usual service since early 2019 when I moved here from NY. I've only worked with services department and only two people and I always request Robert Patton when I schedule a service. He's very professional, listens (and not just pushes down services for my car), and communicates well.
If he says he will have my car ready by a certain time, he delivers on that too. My car is old and has over 155k miles on it so I appreciate a salesperson who doesn't push down every single service during an oil change visit. I recommend Goodson Acura on Lemmon Ave and highly recommend you go see Robert.

We went in to purchase a used vehicle and James Bohlin helped us every step of the way! Not only was James straight forward and kind as we negotiated but he also guided us with excellent advice as we continued on our used car searched that day. He didn't try to manipulate us into thinking his dealership was the only upstanding place but instead wanted us to have the best experience and find the right car for us.
We spoke with many dealerships that day and visited others to try other used cars. We ended up coming back to Goodson Acura to see James to purchase the first car we tried that day. We purchased a beautiful used Buick Enclave. We felt great about the price we paid and truly appreciated James sincerity and expertise through the process. I would definitely recommend this dealership and specifically James Bholin to assist you!

Perhaps one of the smoothest, and most pleasant, car buying experiences I've had! What started as an email inquiry on a Certified Pre-Owned turned into a pressure-free in-person purchase. Adam (sales) was great in answering all of my questions and Andrew (finance) was great through the paperwork process, making it feel much less tedious than I've been accustomed to in the past. I tend to think that I have snobby expectations in regards to customer service, and Goodson definitely delivered on an exceptional experience.

Car salespeople who really don't care about you or your time, just want your money and have you get the hell out. Inaccurate website, shows cars in stock that aren't even on their lot. There's a massive communication gap between their sales consultants and their finance people. Ran our credit even though we were buying a car paying cash, asked why they ran our credit and quoted some Texas law that they cant even reproduce (FYI there's no law, just an OFAC check that you don't need an SSN for).
We agreed to buy the car at 1pm and waited almost 3 hours before we even started signing paperwork. I've bought cars before. It doesn't take that long, I'm sorry. Would not recommend this place to a single person. There's other Acura dealers in the metroplex, Hiley, David McDavid and Vandergriff.

I've had a few good experiences here, and two bad ones. When I was getting ready to purchase a new car here, the salesman and team was awful. Salesman was young and probably new, and used really unpleasant sales tactic. After repeatedly telling him from the start that I was NOT buying a car today, he kept trying to not let me leave the sales room. Said he'll get in trouble bc they know once a buyer leaves the chances of buying a car go way down and his manager would get mad at him.
He was on the verge of tears and asked, "is it me?" On a return visit I dealt with a manager and verbally agreed to a price that included certain fees (destination fee comes to mind) but when he brought me a written breakdown, fee was added on to agreed price. I ended up buying at another dealership out of town, and he said "wouldn't you rather have a good relationship with the dealership that's going to service your car?" Such an unpleasant experience.
Over last two years, I've had my car serviced there with good, not great, experiences. Nothing like my Park Place Lexus Grapevine experiences, which were great and I was sad to leave them. This last time, I was due for my oil change and 25k mike service. I asked the scheduler for an estimate, and she obviously was just guessing when she said, "oh, I think between $100-200 dollars." When I asked for a more exact estimate, she transferred me to service advisor.
I gave him the code on my car and mileage and he quoted me over $700! I said that can't be, and he checked again and suddenly price was about $360. Although I've always taken all my cars to their respective dealerships for service, this time I decided to just take it to Christian brothers, and paid about $75, with spectacular service. I'm hesitant to use this dealership again unless I have to.

I've been using this service department since I bought my car in 2013. One thing you need to keep in mind is that this service department is about 10% more expensive than any of the other area Acura dealerships. I don't know if it's because the real estate is more expensive or just that they have a captive audience (pay 10% more to not have to drive to Plano, Arlington, etc). Regardless, I fall into the captive audience- I just don't have time. I'm giving them three stars for service person Jaron Reed being good at his job and not trying to up sell me on anything.
They also had a loaner available to me. Now where they lose stars. First star loss: EVERY SINGLE TIME, despite verifying my mobile number as my preferred contact, they call my office phone for updates. I wouldn't have verified my mobile number if I wanted them to call my office. Every single time I, in a knowledge vacuum about my car, pickup time, etc, then have to call and leave multiple message over a two hour period to get a call back. It's so frustrating.
Second star loss: Every single time they get my bill wrong at the end. This time, it was $200 more than the agreed upon charges. I always catch it and they always correct it, but still- it shouldn't happen. If you have the time or willingness to drive, I would find another Acura service department. If not, just know the above walking in and set expectations accordingly.

Such a piss-poor attitude of car salesman which is not what you expect from the people who are paid to smile excessively and get you to want to spend your money on something you can't afford. When I walked in with my children I could visibly see people look the other way and not a single person came up to me I had to go in search of a salesman to show me a car which I didn't even end up looking at because when they had gone to get the car he disappeared without a Trace for over 10 15 minutes.
I didn't ask for anything specific is my understanding that a lot of their cars that are newer that I had wanted to see what right up front so it was embarrassing to think that just because I had children no one wanted to help me.

I just bought my car in January- Joseph Nash was a fantastic well informed sales person who helped me through the process. But what has blown me away is the service department there. I haven't needed service due to any fault of Acura's but I like to cause my own issues. Jason was the epitome of amazing. Greeted me with a smile, arranged a shuttle since he could tell I was hungry, minimized my out of pocket costs, and saw me walking up the drive on the way back and got my car ready.
I I have owned an Acura for 8 years now but my prior one was purchased and serviced in Plano. I had no clue what I was missing out on. Every time I went to Plano for service I had to wait, got angry as I felt I was getting taken advantage of, and many times what I requested wasn't done. I find it odd that I leave a car dealer and service now smiling but that is what has occurred since becoming a Goodson customer. What a difference in experiences and I am just kicking myself for not changing dealers sooner. Thank you Goodson!
