My husband and I rented a 16ft truck, originally for 1 day but because Penske has such an amazing offer for a second day free, we took advantage and had this rental put 2 days. It was a round trip so we picked up and dropped off at this same location. The man who helped with the transaction was friendly, however, he didn't walk out to the truck with us to inspect damages like uhual would.
Instead he said the truck was already inspected on his own time. That could have created some trouble down the road, thankfully it didn't this time. The truck was clean and we were able to do an after hours drop off, which was nice. A couple negatives would be the high price per mile as well as them tacking on an extra $15 charge at the end. This was for a third day rental with the dolley we were also renting.
How could we have possibly used the dolley for 3 days when the truck was returned after 2 days? It goes inside the truck! Not okay. Either way, this company and experience was so/so.
