Bought my first car from Bellavia in 2007, a beautiful Impala 200,000 miles I still have it(actually the best car I ever owned). Now I have my 2018 Tahoe, I absolutely love it. Before me, my dad bought all his cars there. Kevin Holdorf always took good care of us. Recently, I brought the Tahoe in for service and dealt with James Nam, James was fantastic in his professionalism, the way he explained everything to me and kept me in the loop during the time my truck was there. I had to bring my car in early and drop the keys in the drop box. The service advisor arrived at the same time and asked me to come right in. He was courteous and very thorough. You don't always expect people to be so accommodating that early in the morning, but he got me in and right out so that I could arrive at school on time. Kudos!

The service department is great. After two other mechanics couldn't diagnose a problem I took it here and the guys were able to isolate the noise/problem and fix it correctly and quick. I was even able to ride with a tech and talk about the problem and try to show them what was wrong. Would definitely recommend. Sometimes its worth it to get it repaired at a dealership because they are knowledgeable about the vehicle and guarantee the work.

I recently took my 2021Silverado to get an oil change. They told me that they couldn't rotate my tires because i had things in the bed of my truck. I only had some tools in the bed. I had to bring it back because it started driving horribly around that time. It has been shifting strangely, slipping and searching for gears, it has a shimmy at certain speeds and clunks when shifting sometimes.
My truck only has 7000 miles on it and is driving worse than the beat up work trucks that I've driven for contractors. The dealership mechanics looked at it and drove it and said that there are no check engine lights on and that means that nothing should be wrong with it, that there are many sensors. I said that it feels noticeably different than it did a month ago.
I asked if i was just supposed to drive it like this until something breaks and a light goes on? The mechanic said "pretty much". I have been very underwhelmed by the service that I've seen there.

I brought in my car. I have a Buick convertible 2017. Im getting water in the back seat of my car. Told the service about it. They kept my car for 1 day. Can't do anything charged us 160. For nothing. They are a rip off. So my husband and my son took the back wheel off and cleared the tube and all the water came out. They were very lazy to do this. I want my 160 back. I will never go back to this service station RIP OFF

I found a pre owned Jeep wrangler online at this dealership I inquired about it and response time was very quick. All information about vehicle was disclosed in our first phone conversation. The night prior to pick up the salesman Alvaro Perez called me and let me know that they were topping off the jeep with gas and the sensor for the fuel gauge was not working.
I was preparing for a 6 hour drive there and he made things right by resolving the problem and giving me an extra warranty at no cost for my piece of mind. I strongly recommend this dealership and if you go there ask for Alvaro. He's not your typical shady car salesman!

I dropped my truck off mid-afternoon with air loss in one of the tires. It was also a Friday. The tire had a leak originating on the side wall and I needed a new tire. Of course it was not in stock, but Scott was able to locate a tire. The job was completed and the keys in my hand by 4:30 the same day! Amazing!

This is the third GM vehicle that I purchased (2 through Bellavia) While I was very dissatisfied with my 2009 Chevy Traverse (Multiple issues after warranty) my wife and I both loved working with Mitch Rubin. I honestly swore I would never buy another Traverse again, but my wife really liked the new model. So being that we liked working with Mitch so much the last time, we gave him a call.
This time, rather than purchase, I was more cautious and leased. What brought us back to Bellavia was mostly our past working relationship with Mitch, who we've always found to be genuine and trust worthy. During both purchases, Mitch really took the time to help us and made the process very simple and delightful.

This is a belated review of Bellavia from a March 2019 purchase of a new Chevrolet. After two high pressure, sales-tactic driven experiences at other NNJ dealers (Major and Schumacher) I entered Bellavia with low expectations. It seemed like their sales tactic was providing honest and accurate information and explanation about all on the process and pricing.

I needed to buy a car and to me it was real important that I was dealing with a dealer that had a good reputation. If I had any issues with the vehicle it wasn't going to be a hassle and to me that peace of mind was well worth it. My salesman, Ric was very patient as I asked questions and looked up various details on the cars I looked at. I came back a couple of times and I bought a 2016 Chevy Equinox with 26.5k miles on it.
I am happy with it. The price was fair. My son also needed a car and found a fairly priced Honda. So we ended up with 2 cars and were both excited to plan road trips. Unfortunately now traveling is pretty much out of the question. I am not sure if my timing was good or bad because I had just gotten the plates before our pandemic escalated. Good because I would not have the luxury to shop and test drive now or bad because of car payments and insurance.on vehicles that mostly sit in a driveway. One positive thing is the OnStar people who were trying to convince me how great their products are stopped pestering me.

I made the bad decision to lease a 2019 Trax from the Bellavia Chevrolet Buick in East Rutherford NJ. Worst decision of my life. The Trax isn't fuel efficient and is poorly made with inferior plastic parts. A awful car I am now stuck with for two more years Also, I had a negative experience in trying to get the finance department to return three of my calls, I was forced to speak to the manager on the fourth call. My advice don't buy a Trax and never lease if you can avoid it. Toyota see you in two years! Dorothy L.

First of all, it is next to impossible to get the Service Department to pick up the phone and if you DO get the on the phone, they are in a hurry, rude and hang up on you. I lease a GM Acadia 2017 and needed to have my oil changed. This is my first experience here. From the start, Tom Lobue made me feel welcome and not pressured at all. He gave me several options and I decided on the 2019 Chevy equinox with a comfort and convenience package in a dark gunmetal gray. The car is beautiful, the price was more than fair and it was honestly the least painful experience I've ever had when getting a car.
I will be coming back here to get my boyfriend a car and I will be sending my mom to him when her lease is up in April of next year. What a relief it is to know that there are good, quality dealerships in our area with an honest and hard working staff, that are willing to go the extra mile for the customer. The moment you walk in there is that classy, traditional, well preserved American feel. By that I mean: respect, appreciation, kindness, patience, professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness. Best standards of courtesy and professionalism implemented for those, who buy a Spark as well as for those, who want a ZR1. Perfect location, huge inventory, clean and spacious building make your stay there a good experience. They treated me very well and I have seen how they treated other customers. Wrecked my BMW in an accident so I was in the market for a new car. I guess Google keeps track of your searches because I started to see ads for Buick. I never considered myself the target demographic for a Buick but I decided to stop by the dealership as I lived the next town over in Rutherford. I guess the salesmen didn't consider me the right demographic either because they gave me the feeling I was wasting their time. The one model I did see (the LaCrosse?) was a bit small in the interior for my liking but I didn't want to waste any more of their time so I left.

Two things I hate, going to the dentist and car shopping. I honestly have been looking for *over 2 years for a new car. I was driving a 2004 Mitsubishi and I really wanted something with AWD. So after 2 years of walking out of various dealerships, being chased down by over zealous salesmen and being ignored by others I went to Bellavia. I am so happy with my 2018 Chevy Equinox and with my experience at Bellavia in East Rutherford. Joe Guerra was great to work with!

My recommendation. Art Smith After visiting, dealerships in my area who are nothing short of crass, lack decorum, and bottom feed for a sale my anger level was through the roof. These dealerships and their staff show no regard to the consumer's desired Vehicle and affordability. We all want a bargain, incentives so we can drive away happy. What we get is bullying and disregard for having a brain.
On my way to the dealership being instantly ready to fight, changed my attitude of another aggravating nightmare and pounding headache. Once you walk through the door you best be ready for incompetency, being bullied and a battle of the fittest. These so-called "genius" waste precious time swearing their loyalty, wooing a car they know nothing about, intimidation and that one chance to get you to sign.
I envision slapping their face to get them to hear me. Feeling defeated I went to Bellavia which is close to my home with the last drop of energy left. "Lord, please give me competence, who cares one I can trust" I found him, Mr. Art Smith, you are a gem. who put me first, empathized with my financial situation, allowed me to speak while showing complete interest.

Tom LoBoe was refered to us by a longtime friend. Tom has a great personality and you do not get any of that high pressure sales stuff. He's very informative about his vehicles. My wife NEVER buys or leases anything unless she sleeps on it. Sometimes this goes on for days to weeks. She loved the truck and Tom so much (and the deal) that she was signing the deal in 40 minutes same day she met Tom. Lol Great guy and the dealership is very welcoming as well. You can't go wrong doing business here.

I saw a pre-owned vehicle on their website, and they actually had it -- first good sign, as a growing number of dealerships are using fake listings to bring in would-be customers. Email correspondence with Tom LoBue was prompt and informative. I made an appointment to see the car, and he was available. Again, you would think all this is to be expected, but it is becoming more and more rare for auto sales to be at our convenience, instead of theirs.
Very pleasant guy, no pressure whatsoever. I was able to test drive the vehicle without giving the dealership all sorts of personal information. I wound up not buying the vehicle in question, but I had to write about my experience with this place because this is how shopping ought to be. I highly recommend this place. I had been to another Chevy dealership that was impossible to get a follow up or answers. I say this! Don't rely on having work done if you have to have a mechanic there diagnose the issue. Not blaming the service managers but the mechanics and perhaps not all of them are freekin crooks. I was quoted over 800 dollars for a brake job and told numerous parts needed replacement. I was not buying it and took the vehicle home and checked myself.
Not only was the diagnosis completely wrong and even non existent but the repair cost me about 6 dollars to clean and relube some slide pins for brake calipers. Come on give me a brake. Do you think we are all idiots!
