If your planning on trading in a vehicle here don't waste your time and take kbb cash offer before going here. I was offered 1500 under kbb offer because of "gas" people are trading there trucks for cars. I did some research on the trucks they had on the lots and low and behold they are charging over market value. So basically trying to low ball me than make a major profit.
I wasn't even asking for full trade in i was on the LOW side and they couldn't even meet me. I was offered 2 thousand off the extended warranty that cost 4995. My extended warranty from ford cost me 1500 and covers everything except brake pads and tires. Plus the Tucson limited i looked at had a coolant smell lots of scratches and extremally dirty inside and engine was as well.
This Tucson was over market value as well and it only gets 5mpg better than my tuck. Please avoid this place on trades the salesman was nice and apologetic but the manager was just plain insulating with his offer and how he needs to go off auction prices not retail. "That I'm a nice young man and want to make a deal" I'm sorry but auction prices are always lower!
I may be young but i wasn't born yesterday and not being taken advantage of because of my age. To bad this sale lost me and my girlfriend was in the market for a new vehicle next month and she will not step foot in this STEALERSHIP!

False Advertising- think twice about putting a deposit on a car that is in transit. 4/11- put deposit on Tuscon Hybrid expected 4/22 4/19-called to arrange pickup. I was told it was ready, but then the salesman realized I was a different customer. I was then told he wasn't sure of a time my car would arrive. I needed to call back. 4/21- called to check on delivery time, left message 4/22- I called and was told it was still in the shipping port - it was delayed 2 weeks due to shortage of drivers.
They were going to send a driver to get it. When i called back, I was then told they couldn't. ONLINE NOW LISTED DELIVERY DATE OF 5/6. 4/22, I called back, cancelled the order, and asked for refund. 4/25- ONLINE NOW LISTED DELIVERY OF 5/18. SAME VIN# I called Hyundai to see if the car was in the port or if it sold. they looked it up but told me I had to get the information from a dealer The car was removed from their online listing a few days later ( but before the current estimated delivery date). 6/8- I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED MY REFUND! despite calling and emailing multiple time, my salesman never called me with updates. 6/13- UPDATE- Reviewed the issue with Torrington and I received my refund on 6/13. I purchased a carfax using the VIN- it was offered for sale on 4/28, sold on 4/30.

Just like all the other dealerships, once they have the sale, you no longer exist. Even worse, they completely lied about cancelling an extended warranty, something that I requested in writing, in person, after driving 90 minutes each way last November! I requested proof of this cancellation (repeatedly) about 30 days later, and they stood by their claim that they had filed the cancellation, sending me "proof, " which, after contacting the warranty company directly, turned out to be just a quote!
It took forever to get anyone to even send me that, as the finance manager is "never around". When I finally verified with my warranty company that they had NEVER filed the cancellation, I contacted one of the few Alfanos to reply to my first request directly, as well as the finance manager, and the salesperson who had handled the original sale, and have yet to hear anything back.
You didn't just drop the ball, here, you spiked it hard into someone else's yard. All you had to do was play by the rules and do what was requested. Did you really think nothing was going to come of this?

Very good dealership, no doubt helped by the great line of cars Hyundai has put out the last several years. I purchased a 2020 Hyundai Kona, in September of '20 and it been an absolute joy to drive either for short trips around town and on long trips to visit family in Florida and Alabama. The service department has been very accommodating when scheduling oil changes, and routine services.

Called to purchase a vehicle they have in stock and they wanted to add on a $5,000 fee because I don't live in the same state. Pretty ridiculous for a dealership to charge $5k on a $35k car that I would come and pickup. Hopefully manufacturers start cracking down on dealerships for all these added fees that only serve to price gouge the customer. Reply to owner: Thanks for your response, I am certain this is the correct dealership.
We called yesterday and all was good, right up until we said we were from Maine, then the $5k was mentioned. I believe the salesman said it was an "out of area allocation fee." However, the vehicle is sold in Maine as well, so, not sure. Attached is the vehicle and dealership information.

Dan Lovallo was the sale person that helped us through entire the process. He was very patient on explaining us all the deals they offered and we decided to go with the Santa Cruz model. After we finish we realize that we got the wrong color car and he was so kind and correct the error. Thanks Dan, can't wait to pick up the car

It is very rare to have leasing a new car exceed your expectations and be a fun, easy and calming experience, but mine was, and it was all because of Mike H. at Torrington Hyundai. From the moment I called, and how thankful I am now it was Mike who picked up immediately at the other end, with his pleasant, cheerful voice, the communication was excellent and service impeccable.
I was looking for a specific car to lease and Mike made the experience so enjoyable. Not once did I feel pressured in any decision or give me a sales pitch. He listened to what I wanted and respected my time. In addition to Mike, the entire Hyundai staff at Torrington was extremely accommodating, friendly and I actually look forward to visiting again. Thank you Mike and Hyundai! Keep up the best in class service!

Bought a used Lexus IS250 from this dealer, which was an hour ride from our home. The salesman was great to deal with. However, the car had some simple issues to resolve: -The headlight bulbs were incorrect and aimed incorrectly due to the motor within the light defective[these aim with the steering] so it was difficult to see as 1 was aimed far to the right. -One of the original headlights was cracked, and they were both very yellowed, making night driving tough. -The car needed a wheel alignment, which after returning it there 3 times, we decided to go to our shop who got it right the first time, at our expense. -The car came with only 1 key.
This is a programmable key, and they would not provide a second one. I sold cars for a decade, and these issues should have been easily resolved. They replaced 1 of the headlights, and both bulbs. However, the other headlight has remained yellowed and is dangerous for night driving. We also had to get the lights adjusted at our expense at our mechanic who was more familiar with the aiming of the lights.
I tried to contact the dealer to see if we can get the final items resolved, but they do not return calls. Maybe I am calling the wrong person? BTW, the car was purchased by my fiance. Look under F.J. Hatcher, April 2019. I also attached a couple of fotos of the headlights so you can see how yellowed the driver's side is.
