In August 1954, the women and men now referred to as the greatest generation were intrenched in family life, working 8 to 5 jobs, and tuning into a technological phenomenon -- the black & white television set. It was that month and that year that two members of that generation, Benjamin Bissett Sr. and his son Ben Jr., opened a Chevrolet dealership in Mercer, PA.
Three months later, Ben Jr., who took charge of the business, celebrated with a grand opening which showcased the 1955 Bel Air Sport Coupe - billed as one of 14 new Fisher Bodies in three new series.

If you're buying a brand new car here, don't do it unless it's beautiful outside and you can park the car in direct sunlight to go over every square inch of the paint - because if you find any blemishes when you drive directly home with the car, they WILL NOT work with you to fix something that is obviously their mistake. They'll even go as far as to blame you for it. No customer service whatsoever. Forever lost a family of customers.

I had an a/c issue that stumped every technician I asked about it. I took my truck to the service department where Keith scheduled me an appointment for the issue. Randy was able to find the issue which happened to be a AA battery blocking the drain. Randy even took the time to vacuum the water that was running under the floor. Great service!

Would not recommend. Great vehicles, sketchy people. Went in today to test drive a car, and 1st off I've never been to a dealership where the seller hops in the car with me while I'm trying to get comfortable with my forever purchase. Then I decided I would like to get the vehicle, ran the numbers with my bank, got the check ready. Buttt they don't want to come with me on a test drives 14 miles down a straight shot street so I can have my mechanic look at it to tell me if it's a good car or not.

Making an appointment to have my Equinox inspected was a good choice. They went to work on it right away. Time wise it was about what I figured it would be to inspect a car, fortunately my Equinox did not need any repairs. (I was expecting to need brakes, but not now) The gear heads in the garage know what they're doing and got the job done. PS the coffee is always hot and fresh. Bud

I purchased a used Honda Accord from Chris P. and he mad the whole process smooth, no pressure, and as easy on me as possible. I stopped in one day and was interested in buying a car I had seen online, I had sent in documents for Pre-approval, Chris has already worked with Sheree in financing to get everything ready before I arrived, and we went for a drive, I liked it and we got to working on paperwork. Sheree made the paperwork a breeze and was extremely helpful. Later, on my way home I had an issue with the car, thankfully it has a warranty and I purchased an Extended Warranty, needless to say, Chris and Andrew worked lightning fast to get me assistance, get the car back to the shop and had it ready to go the next day. Overall, I would highly recommend if you're in the market, shopping Ben Bissett in Mercer, they were very professional, helpful, and courteous.

The team at Ben Bissett is first class! Great family owned local business just over in Mercer Pa. What else could you ask for? Convenient service department with loaner vehicles, friendly sales people and managers and they care about you the customer. Plus they have the lowest prices on there vehicles. Trust me I do a lot of research! They have great deals!
