The staff at Dynospeed Racing prides itself in not only offering powerful custom tuning, but custom tuning that also gives our customers stock like drivability. In actuality close 1/3 of the custom tuning work the staff at Dynospeed Racing performs involves going in behind another custom tuner because the vehicles owner was not satisfied by drivability even after giving the other tuner a couple of chances to correct the problem.
The 98-02 Camaro/TransAM is where the LSX craze begun with the introduction of the LS1 engine. We were able to take these into the low 12's with just basic bolt-ons and custom tuning. Our desire for more horsepower and lower ETs quickly lead us pushing the envelope with stock bottom end LS1 cars running low 9 second 1/4 miles making 800+ horsepower.
There are a lot of people and performance shops that claim to be professional custom tuners, but many of them don't possess the knowledge and tuning experience to back that claim up. We know this as fact as many of our customers come to us to fix issues left behind by other so called tuners. It is our goal to provide or customers with powerful tuning while maintaing as much stock drivability as possible.

I went a year ago with my 2013 f150 fx4 crew cab ecoboost to Dyno speed for them to install a throttle body, full race intercooler, and Cr performance exhaust manifolds. After a week of them having the truck they told me that one of the two stock turbos had blown. The truck had about 80k miles on it. I was told that it shot oil everywhere inside the engine.
Before I took it to them the truck ran perfect but they said that I need new turbos, and and for them to take apart my engine and clean it. I order two crperformance stage 5 turbos. They got in about a month later. They put them on and I had 5 star tuning tune the truck because Dyno speed said they can't. I ended up paying for the installs and I drove it for a couple weeks.
They told me it had a break in period, but after I did that the engine would misfire at 4K rpms. They then told me to get new injectors and a high performance gas pump for the top of the engine "not the one that goes in the gas tank" and I did. After they installed it and I re tuned it the truck would misfire at 2k rpms. I had picked it up Tuesday from Dyno speed and on Sunday I decided to do my own research and found out I needed the lower fuel pump "in the gas tank".
I ordered it, went out to my truck to drive, turned it on and it lit up in flames. I have videos of it and the fire started at the place where Dyno speed put on the new fuel system "injectors and fuel pump". Would not recommend Dyno speed for anything. Went in for an install of 3 items. Left with 15k down the drain and my dream truck burnt to a crisp.

SO. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY WORK DONE HERE YET, BUT. I stopped by just to see if they could work on my car and Josh walked me through the whole shop and told me the history of the company and cars. He said when I'm ready he will make sure I'm taken care of! Amazing People and I WILL be bringing my car here! Customer Service and Approach if High Class! THEY WERE ALSO CLOSED!

If you want your build done right take it Dynospeed. These guys are the most knowledgeable and professional in the area. OK so I'm giving dyno speed 4 out of 5 only because basically if it isn't a Chevy they don't offer much. Sad for a dodge owner like me. Up sides the guys are always nice! Which as a woman driver is shockingly hard to find most places just blankly stare at you the way a cave man would stare at fire. I had a breather that I hate to admit I really didn't know much about and I took it in and they recognized it on the spot.
They didn't have the parts I needed on hand but, knew who to call and where to get them. They took my number called me the very next day with prices and shipping information. Spot on guys spot on! Now they get themselves a dodge guy on payroll and they will have their 5 stars because their service most definitely is deserving.

In 2008 I had them install heads and cams on my 2003 Mustang Gt and they did great work, super helpful and friendly. Fast forward 7 years to now. I was curious about my exact specs for my heads and cams on the car, I wanted to take the next big step in modding out my 03 Gt and was hoping they would still have the information. Unfortunately they did not, but I ended up talking to one of the employees for a good fifteen minutes and he was extremely helpful.
He found out that I was currently living in Florida and still gave me the time of day. He help give me some basic guidance on what I shouldn't and shouldn't do for future mods on the Mustang such as doing a bore and stroke or just forged internals. He helped give me reasons for both sides and gave me his opinion on both. I was truly blown away by how friendly and helpful he was. If I lived closer, I would go back in a heart beat to have them do another amazing job on my Mustang.
