Need to waste all day to get an update. Really bad customer service

This place is sloooooow. Came in for new headlights. It's 4 bolts per housing unit. Been here 4 hours and barely getting started. I should have just installed them myself but I figured the money spent would be worth not standing out in the truck stop parking lot in this Memphis humid heat. Boy was I wrong. Never again will I come to this place.

Unprofesional service hold my truck over the week, every day telling me that they start tomorrow and never happened.

It was good fast customer service just don't have some parts

I went here and was ignored for 10 minutes. They walked around as if I wasn't there. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If I could give a negative star I would.

Put truck in the shop on Wednesday and told it needed an A/C compressor. Friday morning, was told that they couldn't find one because of national backorder. They told me if I could find one, they would install it. Literally 30 minutes of phonecards and I found the part I needed. I was told by General Volvo that they had to approve any parts I bought, and not to buy myself. Informed them where the part was (Madison, WI) and I was willing to pay for overnight shipping if necessary to get my truck back on the road.

Also told that General Truck sales was setting up a vip acct with the shipper to get my part in. Friday night, I called for an update and was told that they were waiting on ME to buy the part. Long story short, A/C compressor was gone. Charged me almost $500 to look at my A/C and didn't even attempt to fix the other issue (broken hood latch). 2 loads lost and 3 days in a hotel plus $500 for 2 hrs of?. DONT waste your time with these people.

Would give no stars but it's not an option. I'll have my truck towed to N. Little Rock before I let General Truck Sales under the hood again. To add insult to injury, I bought this truck BRAND NEW from them.

I dropped my truck off to see why my check engine light was on and to also get the problem fixed. They told me they would do a diagnostic on it to see what the problem is. I asked them how much would a diagnostic cost and they told me it would be free. They called the next day and told me the diagnostic they ran didn't detect the problem and told me they would have to do another one for $700+.

They charged me $700 just to tell me the turbo gasket was blown. In the process of getting it fixed, someone stole my blue parrot out my truck. I called for 3 days trying to speak with a manager and also leaving messages to the desk people and also the managers answering machine and he wouldn't even call me back.

Stopped here to get my air dryer filter replaced got in pretty quick but it seemed forever to get the bill. Work man ship is always quality work. I've had 2 other places that couldn't get the filter off and the mechanic that got my job crawled under my truck and was done fairly quick. I will most definitely get more work done here

Expensive & incompetent, beware bringing equipment to general truck sales. Many drivers complain these mechanics will diagnose long times then tell you they still don't know the issue and will want to diagnose more. Go anywhere else and avoid this place.

I have bought 4 trucks from kevin in the sales dept and he is always straight up with me everytime! the last truck I bought from him had a couple of issues with the truck and he took great care of me on it. I bought the truck as is and had a fuel issue and was gonna cost about 2k to fix it, he paid all but 500 on it so was really pleased about that! every one is the service and parts dept have always been super nice and help ful. go see kevin for a new or used truck and check out the service and parts dept too

Very nice people! Boss man purchased our Volvo truck here and it came with a defective fuel gauge (or sensor, not sure which). So here we are, we were able to roll right on in and be seen immediately. Service manager is friendly. Salesman came over and introduced himself to us. Really nice people! Driver's lounge is very bare bones, no tables, two recliners. Coffee and vending machines are either non-existent or hidden away somewhere. People are great, amenities below average.
