An outstanding experience from beginning to end at Cortese! They are thorough, customer service is remarkable. they honestly treat you like an old friend. No nonsense, fair and honest. Jay Sarkis was my sales guy and I'd recommend him every day of the week, he really is the best. They even followed up with me to make sure I was happy with my car, and it's those little details that will keep me as a customer.

I went to purchase a Jeep Renegade on the busiest day of the year, Black Friday. Long 6 hours deal but I felt I purchased what I wanted for a very fair price. I bought the Cortese ziebart package. They went out of their way to pickup my Jeep coat it and do the inside. My brother owns a body shop. He said it was the best undercoating job he's seen in years. Go to Henrietta and get your Ziebart there. If you park outside without a garage you need your vehicle under coated.

Dealing with this place from the start has been a disaster. To start, I have a couple of friends that sell cars there. So naturally, when I wanted to buy a Dodge Ram, I went there. None of them were responding to my messages, and not ONE salesman came out to talk to me, and try to assist me. I was just browsing the small selection they had. Eventually a friend came out and assisted me, and we went for a test drive. Loved the truck. Eventually, we got to working the numbers.
I didn't love the price, but it was fair for what it was I thought. I did some thinking, discussed it with family, and ultimately wanted to buy it. I put a deposit down on the vehicle, and eventually backed out. They hounded me over and over trying to get me to buy the thing and wouldn't respect that I wasn't interested in financing a vehicle at the time.
Eventually they gave me my money back, and all was well. A month or so after, I ended up buying a car someplace else. I got in contact with my friend again there, and seen they had a car I'd be interested in getting in the future. I simply stated I just wanted to come up and do a quick test drive to see if I'd want to purchase one in the future, and that I would go with Cortese for the purchase.
I was denied. Plenty of other sales people would be happy to let me test drive a car, knowing they would potentially get a sale. Overall, they're very pushy, rude, and just unprofessional from a business standpoint.

Had issue with power steering and another garage quoted $580. Brought to Cortese to price shop job, $5241! $1900 for brakes. (I guess the other garage missed all that extra work). Keep in mind, truck has 20,700 miles. Was told rust caused all issues. Brakes not squealing? Just passed inspection? Decided this is not where I want to be. Charged $155. FOR WHAT? YOU DID NO WORK. "We had to wipe oil off the lines to see they were bad".
I said I asked for a price QUOTE, never authorized charges. Asked to see where I authorized. "Your vehicle is here isn't it? That's your authorization." I'd be afraid to shop for a car here. They might say I authorized a new engine on the car I drove to the showroom.

This review is for Cortese Cycle Sales on W Henrietta Rd. We purchased our third motorcycle form Cortese Cycle Sales. We are very happy with every aspect of our purchase. Butch spent his time explaining different bikes and was very knowledgeable. Jill is so friendly and makes you feel like old friends seeing each other after a long time. Bill detailed the bike so it looks like brand new. Larry is the boss of the whole operation and is just a great guy to work with. Thanks to all the staff at Cortese Cycle Sales. Love you guys.

As a new car buyer the process went very smooth. I had researched what i wanted before i had arrived and laid out what I desired financial and they were able to help me out and get me a payment within my desired range. The staff was very friendly and open. There was only a little concerns that i had, one being the what paperwork (mail with address on it)should be brought in to get a loan. Overall good experience, have not been for maintenance yet, but will be in the future.

This place is brutal. I bought my SUV back in November and it's needed a new battery, Alternator, starter and all the fluids we dry. I drove the care for a few months before I had a mechanic tell me there was no transmission fluid. My air conditioning also didn't work, so I had to get that redone. I called and asked for the dealership to help pay because I've spent more money on repairs, then the cost of the car and all the manager said was that he could "pay for my next oil change as a courtesy." They took no accountability, Dave was super condescending and honestly made me feel like it was my fault. Don't buy from here, they basically sprayed the car with a hose and put it back on the lot. They're a joke.

I went into Cortese to buy a new truck. I knew what I wanted when I walked in the door. I told them exactly what I wanted. I made it very clear and I reiterated myself many times throughout the transaction. I didn't learn until the day I went to pick up the truck that it had a different engine than the one I asked for. I was also lied to about the tow rating and the extended warranty.
I tried to back out of the deal three times. The first two times, the salesman told me that it was too late. I had already paid for the truck and signed for the truck. The third time, I took it to the finance manager. The finance manager told me the same thing. The deal was done and their hands were tied. He told me that it was my fault and that I should have been better educated on the truck.
I explained that I was very clear about what I wanted and that needing a V8 was number two on my list. I explained that I had bought the truck for work and that I had specific towing needs that this truck does not meet. He told me that since I added a tow hitch receive, the rating went up 1,600lbs. He refused to give me this in writing. He insulted me and interrupted me repeatedly before I finally had to stand up and walk away.
Before I left the parking lot, I called in and asked to be put into contact with the owner. I was given an e-mail address. I sent him an email that afternoon and gave him a quick rundown of what I was dealing with. The following after I received a phone call from the regional manager on behalf of the owner. I told him I wanted to meet the owner face to face to express my concerns and find out if his staff was telling me the truth.
I made an appointment to meet the owner, along with the regional manager for the following Friday. Friday came in and I went into Cortese to meet with them. The owner sat me down and asked me what the problem was. I explained the entire story, including all the times I had verified all of the equipment on the truck and the warranty. I showed him all the notes I had taken in my phone, since they wouldn't give me any of this in writing. Looking back, that should have been the first red flag.
I showed him text message from the salesman and several examples of him blatantly lying to me. The owner admitted to me that the first two time I tried to back out of the deal, that was 100% within my rights and that it was not too late. Unfortunately, by the time we had this meeting, he said it WAS too late. He told me the best thing he could do for me would be to install some aftermarket equipment that would boost the tow rating up to what I needed.
He said he would call me the following day after he speak to his service department. The next day, I get a call from the owner. He tells me that he was mistaken and that there was nothing he could do to improve the tow capacity. He said that he had no other options and the best thing he could do for me is offer my next vehicle at his cost. I didn't trust it, so I decided to call his bluff.
I wasn't going to need a new vehicle anytime soon and even if I did, I wouldn't want to bring them the business. So I decided I would take advantage of the offer and replace my winter car. I went on their website and looked at a few used vehicles. I called him up and told him which ones I was interested in and he tried to sell me on the cheapest one.
It was almost $10k and he offered me $600 off. I wanted to puke. Nothing but a bunch of con artists who completely screwed me out of $50k and then have the audacity to offer me $600 off of a used vehicle to make up for it.

When they send you to their affiliate Ziebart after they already fleeced you, please resist from going one hundred feet away. You thought Cortese fleeced you in all areas well they will look like a Princess compared to Ziebart probably one of their older buildings they are renting too. Oh by the way I know Chuck and Pat Cortese as friends back in the ole days and they filled me in at what all those extra imaginoary extras we're all about but Ziebart wasn't there then, They were at Mt Read Blvd and Ridgeway Av. Just Beware.

If you are reading this. Please do yourself a favor and do not make a purchase with Cortese auto. I am still so upset with the way my family and I were treated and taken advantage of at the Henrietta location this evening. So I was driving along and all of a sudden my rearview mirror falls right off of the windshield glue and all. Now we had just purchased this brand new 2018 a few months back so there is no reason why the mirror should be coming off at all.
After this we emailed the salesman that sold us the car. He told us that we could easily fix it ourselves. So we tried to without any luck and then contacted the dealership to set up an appointment. After explaining to the front desk what the whole situation was we were told it should only be about an hour and we could pick it up. We get a call from someone at Cortese who tells us we can pick up the car but it's not fixed yet bc they have to send pics to ford.
I said okay well I will come pick it up and when I got there to pick it up I found that not only is my mirror completely off and sitting in my passenger seat but there is a WHOLE CHUNK OF MY WINDSHIELD MISSING from where they had tried to pry the metal piece that holds the mirror off of the windshield. Now first of all when I brought the car to them my mirror was still up due to my attempt to fix it I had gotten the metal piece to stick on the windshield BUT.
It was still LOSE AND SHAKING when I attached the mirror. so it needed to be fixed. They then tried to tell us that it was just like that when we brought it! Like are you seriously running a business this way? This is not costumer service and that fact that I was called names by one of Cortese's employee's is just crazy. How is this tolerated?

I went in there to lease a new car. I already knew which one I wanted, so I'm sure that helped the process. Rick helped me. It went super quickly. He was very upfront about how much I needed to put down, how much I would be paying a month, etc. He showed me the numbers on a printed sheet. When I picked up the car, Rick explained all the features to me.
He even went through set-up as well. The car came with a year of Sirius XM Guardian, which includes their radio service AND an app that can start my car from anywhere, unlock it, locate it, etc. Pretty cool! Rick also helped me with car insurance. Geico wanted to charge me an arm and a leg, so Rick set me up with an agent he knew pretty well and they were able to get me a much better deal. Overall, smooth and quick process. I think it helped a lot that I already knew what car I wanted and that I wasn't knew to the car buying process for sure.

My boyfriends truck went in for engine repairs mid May. It has been nothing but a complete hassle. They have never contacted him to update him about the status of the repairs. Hes had to call countless times to be ignored on hold or to never have the call returned. It is now going into the 2nd week of July and we still dont have his vehicle. It's been excuse after excuse.
So unprofessional. I promise you this we will NEVER do business with this dealership again. Payments are being made on a vehicle that he isnt driving. I'm beyond annoyed and pissed off.

Just purchased a brand new Lincoln MKX from them, a $50,000 debacle, it was a horrible experience that I plan on sharing with the web. Be very careful when dealing with Joe Cavallario, he is the consummate sleazy car salesmen. The experience was terrible. At the end of my sale, instead of thanking me for the purchase, he came over very excited and said "We have something very special for you" then I asked him what it was and he said "The boss just told me after I deliver your car, we can go home early" - I was floored! Had I not just signed the bank note, I would have cancelled on the spot.
After doing some research I found out the car had $3000.00 in consumer rebates which they did not give to me or even tell me about, but I am sure they kept them for themselves. Now I am going to sue them for the entire cost of the car because they fraudulently induced me to buy the car. Advice from someone that just went through the experience with Cortese and Joe Cavallario Go buy anywhere else. (more to come all over the Internet).

Don't know where the bad reviews come from. So far nothing but good to say about the sales team. My salesman, Richard Riola did a phenomenal job selling me my new jeep and keeping me informed where it was in the build process and even coming in on his day off for the delivery. Honest, and competent. What more do you want? Thanks for a great JEEP buying experience. It is awesome.

If you're the type of person that enjoys being lied to and being the pawn in a deceptive game of bait and switch this place is for you! My husband was seeking a very rare car and had an appointment that he confirmed twice and verified that they actually were able to get the car. This morning he drove there with his deposit only to find that they were not able to get the car at all and never will be able to get it.
They tried to show him other cars. 12 hours prior they were confirming without question. The good part? We gave them no money, they just squandered our time and demolished our trust. Can you imagine what they do with your money? Avoid this place at all costs!

I have been a customer for almost a decade. From Sales to the Service department, my expectations have been exceeded. Most recently I had some work done on my car - I feel I was charged fairly, the work was done quickly, and they stayed in communication. I have always been very pleased with the customer service at Cortese and will remain a loyal customer!

Poor customer service I bought my usedaudi a4 4 weeks ago. Scheduled an appt do to an idiot light that kept going off. They told me they could not tell me how long they would be. So I requested a loaner car. The person scheduling this said the service manager would have to call me back. I never got a callback. So after one week I called my original sales man and ask him to see if he would help me out. Also no return call. Really bad customer service. I would never recommend anyone buying a car from these guys.

We visited Cortese to see if they could beat a lease offer from Van Bortel. While we were happy with the price we were quoted we figured, it can't hurt to try and see if another place can beat it. Also, Van Bortel did not have our first color choice, rather than settle for our second color choice we again figured we'd see what another dealer could offer.
It took a few tries but eventually we came to an agreement that gave us a truck with all of the features we wanted and a few more, including our first color choice, for the same price as Van Bortel's offer. Overall we were very happy with the outcome and will definitely give Cortese the opportunity for our business again in the future. My only reason for not providing 5 stars is that we were given three offers that didn't beat or match Van Bortel before reaching the final offer whereas Van Bortel gave us the very nice offer right off the bat.
In Cortese's defense, they were trying to work with the trucks they had on the lot and it just happened that Van Bortel had a truck on the lot that better matched our wants. However, Dave at Cortese was able to find a truck that was in route and not yet delivered to their lot and that truck met all of our wants plus more. On top of that they matched the price of the lesser truck from Van Bortel so we ended up with a better fitting truck for the same price.

Feel bad for anyone that does trade in their vehicle here. Was told that they would take$1200 off of trade in because car needed the timing chain replaced (at under 70k miles). Thought it sounded fishy and checked on line. That timing chain issue was with a different model and different year. When I called them on it, they said they just do it to all models, weather it is needed or not.
Before I went there I knew some one was gonna try to put it in my arse, I just didnt understand how deep until I went. On a customer service note they truly failed. No handshake, was just told to sit and wait.

I was driving on West henrietta when I realized I was running out of gas and pulled into Cortese I was SO embarassed but a group of employees came out and rolled my car to their gas pump. Nobody was rude or annoyed and just laughed at the situation. Could not have ran out at a better place. Great customer service to say the least!
