The ladies at Girardi Toyota are outstanding. If, I could rate you 10 I would. My radiator was leaking. I call Girardi Toyota service department. They told me to bring it over it was on May 14, 2022. That was Saturday morning. As soon as I arrive Lenny the service manager had technician put it on the lift and checked it out. I appreciate them because they were very helpful. Then, Lenny explained to me everything that was happened. Then, Katilyn the customer service young lady.
She called the Hertz rental and they had vehicle ready when I arrived. Katilyn called for driver to pick me up from Girardi Toyota and drove me to Hertz rental. They covered all the costs. My vehicle was ready in 3days. That's what good customer service is like at Girardi Toyota.

The service department here has some truly wonderful people working there. Our van broke down on the side of the highway on the way home from a family vacation. We had the van towed to this Toyota service department, they were so helpful and did their very best to get us back on the road. We truly appreciated everything they did for us!

On completion I got a detailed list of what work was done and information on the repairs I deferred. Many thanks for a professional job done.

Absolutely horrible experience, car was supposed to be in the body shop for 3 days but ended up being there for two and a half weeks. The body work was very shoty when completed as they did not line up the paneling properly, it is off and you can see it. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Never can get the right answer or info. The body shop doesn't even answer the calls half the time -phone literally rings for 10 minutes or so.

I went today to look at cars at this dealership and my experience was terrible. The dealer ignored my wishes on pricing and made my boyfriend and i very uncomfortable. While we were test driving a vehicle he asked my boyfriend how much he makes and then proceeded to insult how much he makes. Terrible customer service.

Being from out-of-town, I was doubly worried about my car not starting. Finding Girard Toyota turned out great. I was welcomed without appointment and seen to quickly. Brianna, my service manager, got right on it. She even recommended a place for lunch and offered to provide a ride to get there. I was called within the hour and issue was dealt with. Service was not only efficient but cheerful and personally helpful. Couldn't have been better!

I was lucky enough to have my frame recalled by Toyota and replaced on my Tacoma. Hillary the service rep was wonderful she got it scheduled in a very short period of time and kept me informed with everything that was being done and everything that the truck may have needed while things were apart and it was the best time to do it. I met with the mechanic Santos who has a lot of experience and is very knowledgeable and does terrific work I even stopped in in the middle of the process and saw what they were doing and I can't say I could be any happier. I've seen a lot of service issues lately in other places but the service at Gerard Toyota has been exceptional.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - UNREASONABLE & UNETHICAL. THEY LIVE UP TO THEIR TERRIBLE REPUTATION. I have had a few experiences with this dealership and my latest interaction has proven that when given the choice between what is fair/reasonable/right or unethical/cheap this dealership will always choose the later. The service department is wholly responsible for the total destruction of my engine and consequently completely ruined my car.
Shortly after two indicator lights flipped on in my car, I scheduled a service appointment and dropped my car off. They "fixed it" that day, so I paid my bill and drove off. Five minutes down the road, both the indicator lights flipped back on, so I called the service department and I was told that "it was probably just a sensor" and that "the car was safe to drive and wouldn't do any further damage." I was told to make an appointment at my convince, "because there was no rush, " and I made an appointment the next time a loaner was available.
When I took it back they total me the engine was ruined and completely needed to be replaced b/c it had been driven too much and the indicator lights indicated there was a serious problem. I followed the service departments advice and now my engine is destroyed - are you kidding me. Had they told me to return the car when I drove off the lot, I would have and thus saved my engine.
Instead of taking responsibility and replacing the engine or giving me some credit which I could use toward the purchase of a new car at their dealership, they basically threw up the middle finger and said good luck, its a he said she said situation. So now we go to court. Staff has been rude, unresponsive, unprofessional and scummy. I would advise anyone who has gotten all this way to go to any of the other dealerships in the state.

I've been in the business for 20 years, let me start off with that. I called in looking for a price on a used vehicle. Twice I was transferred to sales after speaking with the receptionist, that was not issue. The issue was i was hung up on twice after no one picking up the phone for a sales call! I understand everyone get busy so I tried back a third time and told the receptionist that I was hung up on a couple times and could I just speak to a manager or someone about a price on a vehicle since it wasn't listed.
She told me that they didn't give out pricing and someone would call me. I told her, can you just ask if someone is around as I just want to see if the price works for me and is in my budget. She said no they would have to call me back! In this day and age of Covid, you would think they would be a little more robust about keeping clients. Guess they have all the business they need.

One word! Fantastic personalized assist! I lost my key in a NH Polar cave on Sunday. Being my preferred shop for two TACO's now, I call this morn and get a walk in. Caitlin assessed my unique problem and Tom got right on it (remember.walk in right?) I was out of there in about 20 minutes folks with two new keys that were reasonably priced to boot! Thx to these folks and an outstanding dealership for the support. I'll be bahhhkkkk.

It has been a mess since we decided to stick with this dealership. We were told our car would be to their shop in a week, then we got a call that it wouldn't be in for an extra week or we had an option to get a car from another dealership and it could be in on Monday. After leaving a deposit they then called and said that the car coming was sold to someone else.
When we said we were taking our business elsewhere they panicked and were able to get a new rav4. The car they got did not have everything it was supposed to and getting this corrected has been a headache. The service department is great but the salesmen seem to not truly care about customer service. The supervisor has been trying to help but the frustration in dealing with them is insane.

We recently purchased a 2017 Highlander from this dealership and it has been a very frustrating experience. We purchased the vehicle on-line and had it shipped to Michigan and have encountered several issues: 1) The vehicle showed up with a 6-/1/2 long and to the base scratch that was not disclosed upon sale of the vehicle and they will not fix it.
Door dings and small scratches were expected on a used car, this one should have been disclosed 2) Upon receiving the vehicle, it showed up without an intra-transit plate so we were unable to drive the vehicle for days until we kept calling and they finallly sent us a Dealer Plate while we wait for the one they ordered to show up 3) It's been 2 weeks since we signed the purchase paper work and have not received all of our signed purchase paperwork The communication from this dealership has been terrible, they are unresponsive to emails and most calls. We have had to contact Toyota Customer Care center to intervene.

I would leave zero stars if I could. This place tried to rip me off big time! I have a car that is worth maybe 4000 dollars, I went in to get in an oil change. I walked out with recommended services totaling over 8000 dollars! Yes that's write folks! They handed me a list of recommended services worth twice the value of my car! The service representative handed it to me with a straight face and was being dead serious about it!
One of the big ticket items was replacement of my power steering rack which they wanted over 4,000 for just that alone! I called up some local shops and sure enough they quoted just around 2,000 or half the cost. But that's besides the point! They claimed I was leaking power steering fluid and the whole rack needed replacement. After I got home and let my car sit overnight for several hours, I made note of the power steering fluid level, it was at the maximum value while the engine was cold.
It has literally been over 3 months, that's right folks, 3 months, and my power steering fluid is still at the max tic mark while cold! So I know they at least tried to rip me off by claiming I needed services that I didn't really need and charge me 4,000 for it! I mean all dealerships and car places scam people and rip them off, to make as much money off of you as possible.
This is expected. But most places try to rip you off on small $50 - $200 services that you don't really need to make a quick buck off of you. But to try and rip me off 4,000 dollars on a service that I clearly didn't need! I'm livid. Absolutely livid. 4,0000 dollars is large sum of money! What do you know, a few days after I got this 8,000 in recommend services, what do I find in my mailbox?
Come to New London Toyota and get the new Toyota Yaris for about 20,000 dollars! So the 4,000 in service I didn't need wasn't enough for them nope, they send me a advertisement at least once a month to get a new car from them. But interestingly enough, guess what, I didn't start getting these in the mail until I got this 8,000 in recommended services from them on my 4,000 dollar car, not a single one!
I will never return. The service department is not honest. I suspected they would try to rip me off on small things hear and there, $50 here, $100 there, like all maintenance places do! But 4,000 dollars on a service I clearly didn't need! Handing me a 8,000 dollar thing of recommended services on my 4,000 car, couldn't believe it. Stay away!

Went to Girard Toyota to test drive a RAV4 on November 10th. A salesman, Tyler, welcomed us and started to take our info. When we stated we were still comparing other vehicles and would not make a purchase for a few weeks, he suddenly said, "I have an appointment that just arrived." and walked to the sales manager tower. No one had come in and Tyler just stood at the tower.
After a few minutes we asked another salesman if he could help us test drive a vehicle. He said Tyler was our salesman. When I said Tyler wasn't helping us he just shrugged and walked away. We left and will never be back to even consider a vehicle from ANY of the Antonino stores. I guess business is real good when you can turn away a person who may be spending 30 grand soon.

Almost bought a car from Girard Toyota and am so glad I ended up elsewhere. They wanted a deposit to hold the car until I arrived for my appointment and offered to take the deposit over the phone. I declined. Once I saw the car, I did like it but had one more to look at. This time I agreed to put a REFUNDABLE deposit on my credit card. I ended up purchasing the other car and called Girard immediately so they could put the car back on the lot.
I asked for the deposit to be refunded. Turns out they will only TAKE deposits over the phone - THEY WILL NOT REFUND THEM OVER THE PHONE. It also turns out that while they will take deposits on the weekends, but will not issue refunds on the weekends. I'm still waiting for my refund - it is a huge inconvenience for me to take time off of work and drive to their location. I've emailed and been told they "will look into it." I will never venture into Girard Toyota again. I'm still a fan of the Toyota, but I'll be sure to tell my friends and families to go elsewhere.

Went to get tires swapped to new rims and mounted/balanced. Tech put one lug nut on and say the rims don't fit. "it's loose. see?" Mind you, I'm a shade tree mechanic who can fix most anything, I just don't own my own tire machine. Wouldn't even mount tires to the rims or balance and install. Basically, if the tech doesn't want to do the job they'll try to blow smoke up your ass.

A few hours ago I pulled away from the Girard Toyota lot in New London, CT in a new vehicle. Ariel Alba was my salesperson and I could not have been more happy with the service I received from him, as well as all members of the Girard team. Due to a very busy family and work schedule (as well as the fact that child #4 was about to make an appearance), Ariel handled our situation and requests with the utmost professionalism and promised to communicate with me primarily via email, text, and phone.
The entire process was so incredibly efficient and smooth that I am truly dumbfounded. He took our list of vehicle requirements, and in less than a day had found one that met all of our feature, color, and trim/model must-haves. He constantly kept us in the loop in terms of the status of the vehicle and made sure that everything was ready to go when I came in this morning.
I spent less than 3 hours at the dealership, finalizing financing, insurance transition, and all the other final steps. I seriously could not be more delighted with the price, service, and overall service from the Girard Toyota dealership, .but more importantly, with Ariel himself. He truly knows how to put people / customers first and ensure a wonderful car-buying experience.
It all started with the no-nonsense, haggle free pricing and quote, to the fantastic level of communication, to the bottom line of doing what he said he would do. Every time I have visited Girard Toyota for service on my vehicle, I am so pleased with their staff's customer service skills. When I call, I am promptly greeted and connected with a staff member to schedule my car for maintenance. When I drive up, I am greeted with a friendly and smiling staff member, even at 7:30 in the morning. They do have a lot of business, so the wait can be a wee bit long, but they are very honest with the wait time, so you know what to expect.
They also offer a shuttle service if you need to leave your car. Their waiting area has a playroom, plenty of comfy seating, a television, WIFI access, a Keurig machine for coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. Caitlin and Ashley (I think that's her name.) are always so nice! They take the time to thorughly review what was serviced on your car, but are also so fast and efficient with expediating everyone's wait time.

Scheduled an oil change online which was a breeze and dropped off on a Saturday around 9a.m. Being completely blindsided I was called in an hour to let me know the service was complete and I can pick up my truck anytime! An hour? Either they didn't do the service or they are really that awesome. Overall a very nice experience with the service department.

I have been to Girard Toyota a couple of times now. I've had my 2011 Toyota Rav4 and 2008 Lexus GX470 serviced here and I've never been disappointed. The service department always has very nice people on the phone that helps get my appointments setup and then when I show up they're still just as friendly and kind! They're professional and my car always has been returned to me in the condition I've handed it over-- sometimes better! Hence the servicing part-- aha. I've worked with Hillary and Katherine and I love them both! They're always very nice and take the time to help me and answer my questions.

I have been using Yelp for a couple of years but this is the first time I have been prompted to write a review. I just wasted a week of my life dealing with this dealership. I was interested in a Toyota Certified car. Right before we got to the purchase point, my husband insisted on taking it to our mechanic to have it checked over. I had said it wasn't necessary since the car was Certified.
It sucks when my husband is right. The mechanic found that the car should not have been certified - it needed 4 new tires, alignment, and a battery. Certification standards say that the tires should have even wear and they clearly didn't. Instead of making it right, they "passed" on the transaction, I assume waiting for some sucker to come along and buy the car only to find out it needs $1000 worth of maintenance the next day.
