This service is a terrific resource to have in the Santa Clarita Valley. We've sold five vehicles there over the years and each transaction was easy and painless. This was thanks to the help with the sales and vehicle transfer paperwork we received from the people supervising the lot. They're very organized and professional. Their website is a useful feature as well.
We sold a truck to someone from Long Beach who just saw it on the website. Never even set foot in Santa Clarita except to pick the truck up. Lastly, don't trade your old car in to a dealership. For one car we had, the dealership assigned a ridiculously low trade-in value. We sold it the first day on the Autofair lot for four times the trade-in offer. This business is a gem and I hope they're around for many years to come!

Easy! Convenient! Dropped my car off on a Friday. They helped me with paperwork and pricing. I started out a bit high on the price. Had calls with lowball offers right away. Really convenient to have people call or text with questions and then meet them there at COC if they want to test drive. Always felt very safe. Hardest thing was remembering to pick up my car by 4 on Sunday. Took a few weekends, then dropped the price to a better price (still a good price for me) and then sold it for that full price. Again, they were nice and helped with paperwork. Quick, easy, safe. Totally would sell a car there again!

I have sold 8 cars at the COC Auto Fair over the years. Ranging from a Ford, Honda, to a Lexus and now a Mercedes. Easy to do, leave the car on Friday evening and pick it up on Sunday if not sold. The car is accessible to buyers for evaluation, check motor, etc. you will get calls for test drives and offers. I post a print out of Kelly Bluebook which cuts down on low-ball offers. Most cars we've sold the first weekend, luxury cars usually by 2nd weekend. Great service for buyers & sellers!

Highly recommend the auto fair if you are looking to buy a used vehicle. This one is great and the process to get my car was so easy, and prices were great. I looked at the dealerships and they wanted to charge about an extra 6,000 for used cars compared to the local auto fair. It's located conveniently on the COC college campus during Saturdays and Sundays.
If you're looking to buy a car, I recommend going on Sunday when more sellers have brought in their cars, so you can see more options. I love my used car I bought, I wouldn't have found it anywhere else, and not for the fantastic price.

Great place to sell your car! I listed my car in several places. The person that bought my car found it on Letgo. I did not want to meet at my house. So we meet up at this auto fair. People would text me they wanted to see the car I would text them the address of the Auto fair. They would go look at it and turn it on, if they wanted to drive it I would drive 10 minutes to go let them test drive it.
So even thought the buyer was not found thru the auto fair it was made so much easier by having it parked there in the weekend. If I sell another car I would list here again but not use the "online posting" they charge an extra $50.

I have sold no fewer than 6 cars and a boat here (family uses me to sell their cars!). Excellent concept with excellent service. Like all spontaneous markets with variable inventory, you have to be patient.both selling and buying. Don't expect that any car, truck or RV will sell right away. I always pay for the complete package so that I can return until sold. It's just the cost of getting the job done. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 trips to get a sale but I always find a buyer. Good luck!

For $130 you can leave your car on their lot for unlimited weekends and have them advertise it online. The staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to give you tips on how to sell your car. After a month of using their service it looks like we have a buyer today (11/8) so I am very pleased - especially after we passed on using Beepi.
The only reason for the deduction of one star is that I've seen lights left on in the interior of my car and the headlights left on - which turn off automatically but still, if you leave your keys, just be aware the staff here do not check to see if everything is off. Also be prepared for fingerprints galore and some nimrod pulled the drivers seat all the way up which, seriously, if you mess with anything PUT IT BACK THE WAY YOU FOUND IT!

I tried to sell two vehicles through the Santa Clarita Autofair and struck out both times. The first time was a 2009 Toyota Highlander that I listed $2000 under fair market blue book. No takers at all. I figured maybe it was too expensive of a vehicle so I came back a month later and tried to sell my 1986 Toyota pickup for $2500 and not even a bite.
It doesn't work for expensive cars, and certainly not for cheap ones either. When I went to pickup my truck midday Sunday there was only a few people wandering around. Looking around at the various window stickers, most of the vehicles here have been for sale multiple weeks. My take away is they don't have enough traffic through the place. Don't waste your money trying to sell a car here because there are other places that will get you better exposure for free. I ended up selling the Highlander within a few days on Craig's List and I am doing to same with my pickup.

I have sold three vehicles out of here and struck out on one. This is an excellent concept. Years ago, I sold a car out of my home. It was a cheaper car and attracted a strange mix of people. Some of them made me feel quite uncomfortable. It was not something I wanted to do again. Enter the Auto Fair. The first car I sold here sold in 20 minutes of being on the lot.
The second car took two hours and the third car took two days. I attempted to sell a Lexus here and it never sold after 3 weekends. One thing I have learned is that the lower priced cars move quicker (so I was told by someone). They generate quite a bit of traffic. There is 24 hour security. You leave the keys and people can look but not drive until they call you.
This weeds out the lookie loos and other people that waste your time. They are there to help with paperwork if you need forms or what not. They have a website that lists your vehicle with pictures. They also have a $129 flat fee option that allows you to park and have your car on their website until sold. For all they offer, this is an excellent deal.

The actual location has a nice variety of vehicles. My complaint is their online vehicle search needs to be updated more frequently. I found a car i was interested in and contacted the seller only to find out the car was already sold about 2 weeks prior. As of today, the BMW is still listed on the website.

I've been keeping my eye out for a newer sedan lately. Unfortunately for me this is the closest gathering of private-sale used cars to Los Angeles that I'm aware of, so I've made the trip up here a couple of times. There are plenty of cars, boats, and RVs but I haven't seen one yet that I wanted to test drive. most cars are either out of my budget (lots of Mini and Acura at the time) or older than what I want.
You can open up the car and start it, although the guys working there aren't very friendly when asking for the keys. but the owner must be present to drive it. It's still fun to come look. I wish I could come on a Friday, they probably sell all the good ones then. there was a Yaris on the lot once and I would have driven it, but they said it sold on Friday. I did have someone ask me if he could buy my ol' Acura Legend, so I guess I might bring my car here when I'm ready to sell!
