Just gonna tell it like it is. I'm fairly decent when it comes to car shopping and not getting screwed. I can tell you that this is a dealership that specializes in screwing people. Strike one, arrive and the car is of course marked almost 4k higher than advertised and what was quoted to me. Strike two, appraised the trade-in nearly 5k below market value and it was only when prompted that I already had an appraisal was the offer adjusted.
Strike three was the absolute insistence that I NEEDED to tell them my pre-approved APR before they would give me theirs. Seriously if you value getting your money's worth when car shopping stay far away. Glenn Smith is the shadiest most dishonest guy in the building. I took special exception to the waste of my time and will be posting this review everywhere possible and already advised friends and family to avoid this place like the plague.
I'm not interested in whatever canned response management types back here. The bottom line is that they used every single known cheap sleazy backhanded tactic in an attempt to screw me (a potential customer) and I can only imagine others are given the same treatment. Run. Far. Away.

I was in major need of replacing my car, so I spontaneously went to HONDA after work on a Saturday and as I'm walking up I met a guy GLENN. who greeted me before I hit the door! He was one of the most uplifting sales guy I've ever crossed! His attitude, demeanor, and overall personality was at an all time perfect. I also had the help of LOU. Lou made the 2nd half of the process a piece of cake!
And he had no problem listening to how your day went! I was in and out within 2 hours, and left with a 2022 Honda sports car! And let me tell you my credit and history sucked, but these gentleman made sure as a mom in need of a car I was well taken care of! Thanks HONDA GUYS! YOU ROCK!

Went in for a transmission fluid change on 2019 Odyssey EXL and received a call asking why my car was there. After letting tech know the reason he gave me a price of $240 something dollars. They also didn't understand why I was getting the work done. When I called and set the appointment I was quoted 98.27. Long story short they wouldn't honor the price and was told nothing they will do.
I'm now leaving the shop with my van and no service done. Pretty sure they knew why my car was in but noticed someone screwed up on the price. I'll be buying next Honda elsewhere along with my service work. Who doesn't honor their price? What a waste of time.

My daughter and I came to this dealership because they had the best offer for the car she wanted! Temur was polite, professional, respectful and great to work with. He explained everything and did what he could to make us feel comfortable in making the car buying process go very smoothly. I recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle.

Worked with Tom Hyndman (Service Manager) & Dan McCarthy (Advisor); both were super helpful with my faulty A/C condenser & got everything squared away within a few hours. Currently driving a 2016 Honda Civic EX-T that had an extended warranty on the condenser, these two not only honored the warranty, but were extremely efficient in making sure I had my car back within 5 hours. Thanks guys!

Leased 2 cars from Sloane and from Sales to Service it's been nothing but crap. Do yourself a favor and find a better Honda dealer. They will try to get you for everything they can. Spent $750 on tires and they only lasted 7 months. This place is a scam. Should have listened to previous reviews and went elsewhere.

I should have been more reliant on the poorer reviews. Don't let the amount of reviews and the average fool you. Customer service has been abysmal since day 1. I was originally interested in a 2006 Honda Civic that was on their Glenside lot. Upon request, they said it was more than likely going to be purchased so they invited me in to look at the 2008 Toyota Camry they had on site.
I agreed, even though the price was a little more than what I could afford. When I asked what happened with the Civic, they told me it had been sold. My dad and I agreed test drove the Camry, bargained with Xavier for close to 2 hours to bring the price down to a $6,000 total. We brought up our concern that the car alignment was off and he told us it was probably because of the rain making the roads wet, which is clearly a lie even to someone who is novice with cars.
We noticed the car was filthy, and there were no mats on the floors. Xavier told us it was so that the customers wouldn't dirty them up, and they would be placed upon signing. After signing, I was given the car, with no mats, and only 1 key. When asked where the mats were and had him check with detailing, there were in fact no mats for this car.
He told me he would put in an order for them and they would be in in about a week. A week passes, I receive no call and decide to sit down with the manager. The mats had not been ordered, he told me he would get me a "discount" on the key, because they are not in the business of making keys for used cars "how it comes to them is how they sell it". I'm even informed that they will, again, order the mats, meaning an order had not even been placed.
Given the car was filthy, I asked if the car would be cleaned again and they agreed. I brought it in the next day and these are pictures I took after the car was supposed to have been cleaned. Regardless of a global pandemic, I should NOT be driving a car off a respectable lot that looked like this. Later that week I come in again to see about the key copy and they tell me to go to Sloane Toyota to get a copy.
Upon arrival, they did not have my key in stock and would have to order it. I did not appreciate the run around, but in the end the key was given to me free of charge which is the bare minimum. On to the many other issues, this car is inspected until 1/22, meaning it is safe to drive and everything is running smoothly. I already replaced the upper engine mount and it cost me $129 for part and labor.
My check engine light had turned on not 2 weeks after purchase, telling me there is a misfiring. A family friend reads the error and checks it out. The spark plugs obviously needed to be changed, and 1 out of the 4 ignition coils are an improper size. Not to mention, when they were being taken out, they noticed my engine had oil in it and each spark plug was covered with oil.
The gasket is clearly old and needs to be replaced, which is likely what gave me the misfire. Needless to say, left unchecked, can cause imminent mechanical failure. I would say whoever passed this car through inspection without having fixed the gasket or replaced the incorrect ignition coil did not do a great job. And I kept letting things slide from the beginning, but I just thought I would let people know my experiences.
My calls go unanswered, my voicemails are left without acknowledgment. It's incredibly hard to get anyone's attention, and if the only way to do that is to leave pictures of proof and a long review, so be it.

Buyer beware! Terrible experience! I went there and found the perfect car, agreed upon a price, put a $500 deposit on it and signed a sales agreement. There were a few scratches on the car that we're going to take a few days to fix so they said I could pick it up the following Monday. In the interim, I sold my current car to a co-worker who needed a it for her family, with the expectation that I would be getting a new one and transferring the tags etc on Monday. Saturday, I get a call from the sales guy telling me they are going to sell it to someone else coming from out of state and they are paying more money. What!
This is insane! How is this even possible? I was there in person, put a deposit down and even on the sales agreement, we had Monday as the date of purchase. he said, ultimately they made a mistake in the price and needed to sell it for more because the repair on the scratches were going to cost more than expected. I would've bought the car with the scratches in it if that was the case.
The salesman told me he explained the issue to the owner and ultimately it was the owners call. He apologized and said he agrees that it's a messed up thing that happened. He told me he would refund my money but beyond that there was nothing he could do. This experience really screwed me over. it took them almost 2 weeks and many phone calls to refund my deposit, so, I couldn't put it toward another vehicle till I had the money.
I ended up having to rent a car on my credit card to get to work for two weeks before I found canother one. I have every single thing documented. text messages, signed agreements, deposit receipts. It all means nothing. None of it legally holds the dealer accountable to sell you the car or make things right.

Larry Walsh was awesome! I went in with an idea but had a thousand scenarios in my head. Larry listened to all of them and showed me the 20 different cars I wanted to see with patience! He helped me find what I needed and I am so happy. After I could finally come to a decision everything was so easy. What I liked most was his patience and his willingness to explain things so I could actually understand!
I didn't feel haggled. And he was actually a normal decent guy. I was already at several car dealerships in Doylestown, Warrington, and Abington (some Honda, Subaru, and Kia). Larry was the best salesman, he got me to buy a car! No one else really took the time, and/or they were arrogant. You got to like the person your working with! I think Larry went above and beyond to help me out! Also! Shout out to finance! He was very personable! Extremely nice and also a great salesman!

I don't normally write reviews but I HAD to share my wonderful experience I received at Sloane Honda! I've been to many many dealerships in my life and this was by far my favorite. It was my first visit there yesterday when I heard a weird noise my car was making. Steve took great care of me and got me in and out! I will never go to another place again and they have a customer for life! Also will spread the word to other people!

I just want to say I had the worst experience ever. The sales guy LARRY WALSH was discriminative against me because I was a single hispanic woman. After his nasty comments and attitude I asked if I could speak with his supervisor and his response was "Sure I can get him so he can say goodbye to you!". All of this disrespect in front of a trainee he was training.
After talking to the supervisor, I fell walking out and the supervisor saw me and never came out to help me and later on I saw some of the salesmen laughing at what happened. The experience as a whole was degrading. I felt racism, I felt attacked, and belittled. There was no human decency to even check up on me after my fall where they parked my car. I would not advise anyone to get a car from this place! The experience was horrible!

Lets get one thing straight, the service department is amazing. They exhibit true customer service. The sales department should take a page out of their book because their customer service is awful. While the sales manager, Brett, helped me quickly and efficiently once he found out about my problem, the rest of the group in the sales building were embarassing.
Now onto the problem: I bought a certified pre-owned car about a week ago and it had a nearly flat tire. I was told by my salesman Xavier, that it would be taken care of. Only a couple of days later the same tire went flat again so i scheduled a service appointment expecting this to be handled easily and for no charge. The tire that was originally flat had to be replaced (~$200) along with a plug in another tire(~25) that the service department found.
After heading to the sales building to explain the issue, Xavier sent me back to service with a note to fix the $25 plug ONLY. Nobody handled it for me, i had to walk back and hand deliver this notice. Service had to call sales 3 times after being hung up on and Brandon REFUSED to pay for the tire replacement. It wasnt until i ran into the sales manager, who coincidentially was in the service department at that moment, that my problem was corrected.
The sales department at sloane honda has a serious customer service issue. They are the epitome of the slimey sales person. What makes this review so unfortunate is that the sales manager, Brett and the service department were incredible and easy to deal with. Xavier and brandon? Not so much. They delivered terrible customer service. Avoid these guys and buy your car with someone else. I cant believe i wasted my entire saturday afternoon with these bufoons.

Super professional team. I have been in multiple dealerships but this one stand's out. Everywhere else the dealership try to sell unwanted services but this guys here they are super courteous and they won't push that hard at all if a customer doesn't request for any particular services. Awesome team!

So back again with the worst Honda dealership i had to deal with went to get an oil change at a different dealership cause i feel like i can't trust sloane Honda. When i went to the other dealership on Thursday September 26th they had told me that i needed some work done to my car just wear and tear work. One of the things was my cabin air filter that i had gotten changed at Sloane in February they had told me if i got it changed in February it shouldn't need to be done but it looked so bad when they showed me it. I feel like they never even changed it to begin with at Sloane once again very disappointed.

They are liars and thieves. The financial adviser I worked with said he "waived" the cost of gap insurance because he felt I needed it when I refused. He then added it to my loan for an additional $900 without telling me. I went back to the dealership when I realized. 9am on a weekday, I sit and wait an hour, I'm then told "they're in a meeting" and to come back later. Came back at noon, no one saw me, I was told to come back a different day.
I am busy and the dealership is far so I call, they say the person who I did this transaction with doesn't work there anymore. All they can do is cancel it prorated. I think the cherry on top is their attempt to sell me a maintenance plan when I got the car, their shop doesn't even have the tools to work on my car. They can't even tell me the closest shop that does, who also takes that plan. And no, I didn't buy it. lol Ridiculous

** UPDATE 3/31 ** I received the $500 refund via check as promised, but the $1095 warranty I was told was canceled and would be paid toward my principal balance of my loan has still not been processed. It's been more than a month and still no change. The GM has been useless and I've contacted PENNDOT and will be exploring other options-- HONDA SLOANE IS THE WORST. AVOID THIS DEALER AT ALL COSTS! **UPDATE 4/15** Warranty for $1095 has still not been canceled/reflected on my loan. Filed a formal complaint with PENNDOT & PA Attorney General Consumer Affairs Office. I'd recommend everyone else who's been having issues to do the same.

Purchased a Honda from here and oil changes here are plain robbery. Literally any place around this area will charge you way less, and 120$ for filter changes? Insanely over priced. Wait time is insane as well, I'm not sure if they do it first come first serve because I waited longer than people who came after me. If you have a Honda, even purchased form here.just use the first free oil change and do rest somewhere else. Update: rude staff

The wait time is atrocious. There is minimal customer service if you are not a 25 year customer, or went to high school with the staff, feels like. I was left standing for far too long, and ignored. I work in retail and I know that this is no way to treat a customer. I didn't feel like anyone here wanted my business. Edit: I bought a certified used car from them a year ago, and noticed a problem, and brought it in.
No service anywhere else. Now I'm supposed to pay 400 dollars for what I'm told is a 'missing wire' in my mirror. Missing? Do they think I pried the mirror open, took the wire out and then put it all back? And they couldn't tell? They certified this vehicle with a missing wire? Why can't I give zero stars OMG. Ivy is the best part of this place, and the reason I keep coming back, but I'm really done.

Worst dealership in town! I came in because my car was making a humming sound from worn-out wheel bearings. Talked to a rude rep (Jamie) who told me that, if I didn't have an appointment, she couldn't do anything for me. I took my car across town to Piazza Honda on Essington Ave. which promptly diagnosed the problem and got me a loaner car so I can pick my daughter up from school while they fixed the problem.
The repair cost me $850, which I gladly paid because of exceptional customer service. Sloane Honda is 10 minutes from my house, but I will rather drive over 30 minutes to a dealer that actually cares about it's customers.
