This was and still is a terrible experience with Atlantis and Erwin. First of all I had to purchase the truck (2014 Ford E350) first for them to service it and wash it which didn't make sense to me and should've been the red flag to run far away because you would think you would want the vehicle up to par for potential buyers. Small business owner excited to expand and needed a bigger vehicle I went ahead and purchased the box truck because Erwin does "appear" to be a honest trust worthy guy when you meet him so I moved forward with the purchase.
After him telling me it should be ready in a couple days after they service it, "clean" it and repair a hole in the box I can pick it up. Well. let's just say I waited over a week and yes the hole was patched which water still comes through if it rains, the truck was filthy inside and he swore they cleaned it but said it was a old man that washes it as if it makes it acceptable.
Also a light wasn't working. He said I can leave it for more time after already waiting a week or I can take it and they would mail me the light. I decided to take it because I couldn't wait any longer. I washed the inside myself and 5 weeks later I still haven't received the light. That's not the worse of it. I've had this box truck for 5 weeks and after the first week the truck wouldn't turn on.
I jump started it and it was fine. It happened a few more times and I got the battery checked and it's 100%. Autozone said it's either wiring or the starter. Erwin says it's passed the 30 days so they won't cover it but I can take it to them and they'll check it out for a fee! Erwin claims if I would've taken it sooner they would've fixed it but in the same breath he says the warranty only cover transmission and engine issues and not wiring.
I really wish I would've did my due diligence before going here because after seeing all these bad reviews from other people and their experiences I wouldn't have gone to them. Hopefully this helps the next individual that is looking for a vehicle. You live and learn and now I have to go pay to get this $43k truck fixed that I just bought.

I really like this used truck and van Automotive dealer store I think it's a really good place to go check out the vehicles and honestly compared to today's pricing 2022 I think their prices are a little high maybe 20% or 30% high on their prices but you can never really tell exactly who's marking the cars up too much or too little so they have a pretty decent lineup of cars but you need to really make sure that you check the car's out maybe bring your mechanic to the dealership and have him drive the car and look under the hood check the chassis the tires and the brakes and the electrical system but in the end I didn't purchase a car there because they did not have the model that I wanted most of their Vans are like a hundred thousand miles so I didn't really find a good fit when I went to shop there but I can't really complain because it's just your typical used car sales lot

Atlantis Auto Sales seemed like a good place to buy a box van. I had done as much research as possible and made a trip to LA to pick up a van. I had inquired about a couple different vans and was told they were there and available to look at. I arrived and looked at a few and then left to look at other dealers and options. I called back and said I was interested in one of the Isuzus and the Mercedes Sprinter.
I was told they were both ready by Erwin. When I arrived back I was told the Isuzu was waiting on the turbo to be replaced. I was in from out of town and needed to make a deal that day. I like the mercedes sprinter and decided to buy it. After driving 200 miles back to Las Vegas the next morning I woke up with a puddle of oil under the van. The entire oil pan was leaking.
I was on a drive all the way back to Tennessee. Erwin told me to bring it back and they would look at it. I told them that was not possible as I was already in Vegas and had to be back in Tennessee with the van over the next week. Erwin said they would help cover some of the costs getting it fixed at a local shop, I brought it in and paid $750 to have everything fixed.
The next day as I was on the road headed to Tennessee the check engine light came on. I was already too far to turn back and made the drive all the way back to TN with the check engine light on. Once back the Mercedes dealer told me it was a vacuum leak and thermostat issue. They said they looked up the vehicle history and that the previous people had put 3 water pumps in it and had a history of this same code.
For $650 they fixed the vacuum leak. This whole time it was winter and cold but low and behold the first hot day in Tennessee and no A/C, back to Mercedes $3,200 for a A/C compressor and Condenser. 3 days later the blower motor fails for the A/C $450 for parts only and Mercedes did the labor for free. Atlantis stopped responding to me after I sent them the first bill for the oil pan leaking the day after I bought it. This has all happened within 3 months of purchasing the vehicle. I would never use them for any purchases.

We worked with Javier Galvan and had a fantastic experience. We were free to roam the lot by ourselves, they had transparent pricing, and easy coordination of delivery to a third party mechanic.it was all great! There were NO surprises on the estimate or paperwork, no pressure to purchase add ons, very straightforward. We had worse experiences elsewhere, so this was refreshingly easy and low pressure. Thanks Atlantis and Javier!

On February 25th I went to Atlantis cargo vans. Excited I got approved for a 2015 ford 250 diesel transit. I was told by the salesman Erwin to drive the van for 100 miles cause they needed to get the smog check done when I have driven it for over the mileage I can take it to get a smog check and they would reimburse me. I drove it and the check engine light came on.
I took it to a mechanic that works on diesel and he said that 2 censors needed to be replaced. It looks like they didn't fix the problem. As I was driving it back to them. The check engine light went off. So I took it to a smog place and it passed. Move 3 weeks later. I was driving to work and all of a sudden the rmp's on the van went to 4 and could not go over 20 miles.
I returned to a mechanic shop and they said that the same sensors aren't working and looks like the transmission gave away. I took it back to the sales rep that sold it to me and he said I've driven the van past 1000 mile 1300 to be exact and the warranty isn't any good. So now I'm stuck with a van that needs $5000+ to replace the transmission and they can't do nothing about it.
I haven't made my 1st payment and now I'm stuck with this issue. I will never recommend anyone to get a used vehicle from this place. I was sold a lemon for a vehicle.

They have a lot of nice work trucks/vans. Unfortunately, they really didn't want to negotiate the price of a van, I was interested in. They said I was approved for the loan, but I needed to put down 3000 dollars. When I asked if they price of the van was negotiable, because that was a steep down payment, they told me No.

The check engine light came on a few days after purchased and we were told by them to "just keep driving it, it'll go away". Three weeks after the purchase the car broke down and left us stranded with a car full of groceries 90 miles from our business. We towed it to them and they charged us $2k to fix it. They have great customer service when purchasing the vehicle and were extremely helpful, but I'd be wary of buying a used commercial vehicle in general. Be sure to be thorough by checking what you purchase!

I usually don't buy used cars. But I need a reefer van for my catering business. I can only afford a used one. I found their ad on Craig's List and drove up from San Diego. I worked with sales rep Javier. He was very patient and helped me test the van and refrigeration. It turned out to be a great reefer van! There is no mechanical problem at all and the refrigeration works great, just like they advertised. I feel they are honest and try to do the best for their clients. No wonder they have been in business for over 30 years. I will definitely recommend them!

I had worst experience with this dealership. Below zero rating They're sold ford box truck 2015 HD transit to us but they didn't tell has accident and after purchase we find out the car has accident. But I returned the car to them, dealership never tells about the accident and says we didn't know vehicle has accident. Be careful when you purchase a commercial vehicle from them.
Please check with CARFAX before purchase and don't trust to their report. again I want to tell you just get a report from CARFAx. Bad seller, very bad customer service that I've ever had, supervisor name was ALEX, he is a very unprofessional and very very bad service. The other hand, when they sell used car they don't check smog check and you have to check as a buyer. Don't trust to the vehicle that this dealership sells to you. Be careful and don't waste your time and your money!

If You plan on buying anything from these people - do not. Unless you want to buy a piece of non-functioning trash - in that case - be my guest. I've been through rough car buying experiences but this one went through the roof to leave the mark. It began with mr Erwin the next day after the Thanksgiving, when I came over to see the Mercedes-benz Sprinter Van I found on their website.
Unfortunately they failed to mention that they have no working key for that van and there was no option to start or test drive it. Why would somebody want to test drive the truck they come to see - it's crazy, right? Erwin assures us that it's the key problem and they are waiting for the locksmith to get the key made. I applied for financing and got approved, but several days later even the financing company didn't believe the story about the irresponsible locksmiths who never show up.
The best part is that Erwin offered me to do the paperwork and downpayment before the issue is resolved. Sure, why not start paying for something weeks before you can actually start using it? Since I liked the truck I told them that I'll get my own locksmith to fix the key situation. Amazingly in-spite Erwin's saying that this key can only be made by a dealer, the guy came and got the keys made in an hour.
That must be some kind of miracle. But it did nothing. The ignition on the truck was messed up and never worked even with the original key. Erwin says he is just a salesman and can not know, what is wrong with truck. Hard to disagree - what kind of salesman needs to know, what he is selling - it's nonsense. Atlantis and Erwin please get professional and start selling descent vehicles.
But to be honest, I actually have to thank you, since I got a great deal on the same kind of truck the same day at dealership nearby using the lender who works with you. Jokes aside - you mostly sell trucks so you mainly screw hardworking people for their money which they earn with blood, sweat and back pain. I hope this review reaches at least one of them and it will save them from dealing with you.

Do not buy a truck or even a pack of gum from these guys they knowingly sell trucks that need work hoping to find the unsuspecting buyer in my case they sold me a truck that had a major oil leak took it back for over a month they promised the oil leak was fixed but when I got the truck back it was still leaking oil. Not satisfied.

Although the truck I bought is pretty solid and I am satisfied with it, the sales force is shady. I was promised a oil change and although I checked it before I left it was obvious they had just poured a new quart of oil in because I just had to have it serviced and the filter was trashed. No way the truck was serviced a month ago. They also charged me $600 for registration and license. Turns out the truck had not been registered for a year so my fee was to bring it current.
I am now writing another check to the DMV for registration. After speaking with Erwin I was told, sorry call the DMV. Took no responsibility. These trucks are a dime a dozen, go somewhere else that knows customer service!

Just bought a 2004 Ford Transit here. Had no issues with the vehicle, and they were very straighforward about the price and any fees that would be included. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Erwin. They were very accomodating and even offered to buy me lunch while I was waiting in the office! Atlantis has a very large selection of cargo vans, work vans, and trucks. If I ever need another truck, I will definitely go back.

This place is a joke. I read the negative reviews (that somehow seem to disappear) and should have known better. Their online inventory does not exist. I called twice to double check the van I wanted was available to see and test drive before driving over an hour to La Puente. Oh yes, yes, it is available Erwin tells me. I get there and no such van. They basically put phony vans on their website that don't exist and prices that aren't accurate. Then they lie to you saying they have the van you are looking at.
