Tried to donate a car. The tow truck driver never showed or called during the scheduled time. After waiting 4 more hours and leaving several messages with them they finally called me back to reschedule. They also lied and claimed that I had canceled the pick up and decided to keep the vehicle. The driver didn't show up the second time either.

I spoke with one person that became very rude when I simply asked her to repeat the number for the dispatcher. FYI, no one will pick up your calls. You will sit on hold for 10 minutes until you are kicked over to voicemail. Consider yourself lucky if you get a call back.

Truly awful experience with IAAI Transport. Promised 4 days to go 400 miles. Took 3 weeks. Best they offered was to cancel the transport 17 days in and let me pick the vehicle up. NEVER use their transport service. Absolutely worst customer service

Like most, I purchased a run and drive vehicle with my brothers account. I spoke with a gal who also included towing to my home after the auction. I waited and waited then got updated invoices for increased amounts. They were charging me 40 bucks a day to store the car, I called them and they said a tow is not guaranteed and I have to pay storage or I wont get the car I all ready paid for.

By that time it was Friday and they were closed on weekends so another 80 bucks. By the time I arranged a tow 100 miles away I got there to break it out of jail It was 350.00 in storage fees. I have come to believe this place is a theft auction with fee after fee. More you pay for a car the higher the fee's I am sickened by the dishonesty this place calls a business, the folks who work there are as bad as the business. Dirty rotten cheaters! Buyer beware! You have been warned.

Described a car as having body damage when in reality it was water damage AND body damage. To double down on the misrepresentation, they provided a CarFax report that does not include the water damage accident. Now I have a dead car in my driveway that I need to part out to recover any money at all. When I called, you get "not our responsibility" but misleading bidders certainly is. Bid low and don't expect much. Other than that, the fee ended up nearly 20% of the bidding price. They were outrageous.

Had to go there to empty out my belongings from my totaled car. The guy at the front desk was super cool and helpful and the giant forklift brought my car out front. Everything went smoothly even my car looked so sad.

Requested my title from IAAI buyer services. The made me to write them an email, i did. Two weeks later, didnt get the title. Call them, ask them what is going on. They say: you need to pay Fedex shipping fee on your IAAI account. Paid the $14 shipping fee. Two more weeks later, didnt get the title. Call them, whats going on now? Oh, you have to let us know that you paid the fedex fee!

Can you believe that? They dont have a way to see if i paid this Freaking fedex fee. So, i told them, yes i paid the fee, now, please can you send the title. Another two weeks later, of course i still havent got my title, call them again.this time they say: Oh, we still have your title and we send them in the order we had them received. Jeezes foking Krist. GOOOOsh. Why? Why? Why cant you just make this simple! Its just makes my customer registration so much harder, temp tags are expired and many other problems.

To anyone wanting to work with them, DON'T! The only reason I have had to deal with them is because they deal with the insurance company of a lady who smashed into my parked car. They're awful and have no sense of customer service. I have contacted them three tomes and have been on hold to get the "next available representative" for the course of 45 minutes for the first try 30 minutes for the second try and another 15 min for the third try.

This is not the first day I have tried to reach out to them. The last time I was on hold for an hour! I have sent two emails asking what THEY NEED FROM ME to settle the claim. And alas they have not answered me in this time. They sent me the wrong documents the first time and it took me calling the insurance company to find out they had the wrong info (a week later) and then they took till the next week to send me the right forms.

It has been since December 10th when my car got hit I already have a new car and I am still waiting to get my car settled. Mind you none of this was my fault so they just need the information to take care of it and then my car is taken care of. DON"T USE THEM IF YOU HAVE ANY CHOICE IN THE MATTER! Good luck to anyone who doesn't have any choice. -One ticked off human

Scam online bidding they lock you out at end of bidding and say it was a tie and it go's to the floor bidder what tie! Never heard of that in bidding at auction they from the hammer on the long island local town buyers this is bad for the sellers because there losing big money. This happens all the time I think it's time to jump ship. And go to Copart.

I will never have a car brought here again. Rude people and not helpful. My car was towed here on the recommendation of my insurance company to be assessed. It was hell trying to get them to accept the car. Then, when my repair company came to tow it to their garage, it was hell trying to get it out. NEVER AGAIN!

It's really saying something when my 2-star review is the highest rating this place has gotten to date. When I donated my old car to Habitat for Humanity, the logistics were handled by Advanced Remarketing Services, which in turn contracted out towing and sale of my car to IAAI. I called IAAI to set a pickup date and they gave me a 4-hour window during which a tow truck would come.

The day of pickup, they called me three hours into the window to let me know that they were backed up and wanted to come by the next day. Efficiency is not their forte. The next day when 1.5 hours had gone by without me hearing from them, I didn't want to take more chances. I called IAAI again and they said that the driver would call me back.

The driver did return my call and showed up when he said he would. All he needed from me were the car keys, and he got my car onto the tow truck quickly, chained it down and hauled it away. A month later, the car was sold at auction and I got an email from Habitat for Humanity. For its condition, the car was sold for a fair price. Other reviewers report that the buying experience with IAAI is horrendous, and I can totally believe it. But at least the pickup and sale went ok, though it's possible that the pickup experience would've been worse had I not been proactive with calling.

It was bad experience and they want you take where ever they want post on your account without telling you even they now they make mistakes they want you take responsibility for they are mistakes. I had good relationships with the most people how working on iaa but most of the people I now they work Copart now somehow any way I am now using Copart and they have good experiences and friendly customer service.

For corporate Office of iaa I was calling and they gave me fone # for my problems to solve. I will say really corporate office it that what you do all day just give # for your customer if so You should call your self covering up company

Don't expect any efficiency from this company. I only dealt with them because they were utilized by my insurance company to haul away a totalled vehicle. They screwed up the first two appointments to come pick up the car. On the third try they took it away. A week later they showed up to pick it up a second time! Same driver, too. Then.two months after my car was removed and I had already gotten a settlement from the insurance company, I got paperwork via FedEx to fill out a Vehicle Power of Attorney so they could get the title. Apparently they sent me the wrong state's paperwork the first time. May the Universe help you if you choose to buy from them.

Worst company to deal with. Buy a car and then wait hours for them to bring it outside the gate. Every time you come here, you'll see everybody waiting for their cars. We purchased a "run and drive car" but the only way they will bring it out is on the forklift. So, they sell hundreds of cars every week and how many forklifts are working to bring them out?

You guessed it, ONE! Don't bother complaining to management, they couldn't care less. Your time is worth nothing to these people. Stick with Copart for your salvage cars.

IT WAS NOT THE FRESNO LOCATION! I purchased a vehicle out of Loganville, GA. It was an I-BUY online opportunity. Putting a little faith into the companies ability to evaluate vehicles they are selling to the public as a dealer. I bid on the vehicle which was stated to run and drive. If you are one of those people that would interpret that as being drivable, please reconsider.

After boosting the vehicle (acceptable) the engine sounded like it was going to literally blow apart. When I revved it up it would stall. The manager came out and looked at it and saw that there was no argument to my claim. She stated that I was responsible for the purchase and made no alternative as to improve the situation. If you are someone in need of a good deal and willing to take a reasonable risk please don't loose any more money here. There are enough traps out there and there is no need to support another.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! We had to deal with these people because of the website The Clunker Junker. We were on a tight schedule as we were not able to sell our car and were moving off island. They set us up with an appointment. Time frame was 12-5. The day of, not only did I verify with The Clunker Junker, but I had gotten ahold of someone at IAA and they also verified the time.

Ten min til 5 someone finally called and stated we didn't have an appointment. After arguing with them they finally said they MIGHT be able to get it the next day. My husband hung up on them because we left island the next day and no guarantees isn't helpful. They really screwed us over! We will never use them again!

I am a licensed dealer, that deals in rebuildable autos/trucks. I buy no less than 100 of them every year. IAAI has got to be the worst place I have ever spent a dollar. Last week (March 7th 2018) I bought a high-dollar Infinity Q-50 in Charlotte NC via internet after viewing the pictures. When my truck brought it in, the rear window was missing! Yeah, they paid for it because it was plainly in when they took pictures of it, and gone when it left there.

Today I was bidding on a truck in GA, and was the high bidder, for the last 15 seconds of the auction. When the auctioneer called out the buyer number it was someone else's number, but the same amount I bid! Guess his "buddy" wanted a truck. YMMV, but I am switching to Copart, heck their fees are no higher than IAAI and their computerized auction won't play favorites and dump you for their friends!

If your new to bidding on cars, be careful, it's a 200 fee, and even if your new to bidding, you cant make a mistake with bidding on the wrong car, it will cost you 1000 plus the fee to bid which is 200, total cost for the car that you didnt want to bid on would be $1200, always check the reviews on the company first, my mistake! They have the worst customer service.(This was at the East Atlanta Georgia branch.) they told me to call the manger at 877-868-4544 Josh Gardner, left him a message, and no call back, will not do business with them again!

Apparently, when you decide to donate your vehicle to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, you end up dealing with IAA. IAA made the donation process so easy and uncomplicated. From the initial email application to the vehicle pickup, every step was handled professionally. Kudos to the IAA team for making the transfer of ownership of an old, reliable vehicle to a worthy cause a pleasant experience!

I used to buy cars from IAAI when they didnt have the internet live bidding and now you have to compete to get a car against the whole world. Fee prices have gone up ridiculously. $89 internet fee $59 service fee. $7 vehicle report $500 buyer fee for cars $10k plus. Before the auction you can pre bid wich is weird. they don't show who are the pre-bidders. probably because is the same insurance who does that to jack up the prices!

Buyer be carefull from you buy car from this auction iaai we just bought a bmw 2006. 3 series the car was posted for vandalized the inside has a lot of cut the seat front and back the paint outside but that wasn't my concerns when we got the car we realize that the engine was bad which they never told us about the engine apparently it overhead before was vandalized which means they vandalized with the knowledge that the car had a bad engine since those cars you're buying as is we don't have no other option to fixed totally lost with this car

Buyer's beware, bought a car here that read about 100,000 miles, fixed the car and when I was ready to sell it, pulled a vehicle history report only to find out the car had close to 300,000 miles, it was too late for me to go back since I had already spent a fortune fixing this car. BIG LOSSES. ALSO THE BUYER FEES ARE OUTRAGEOUS Compared to other auctions, LOOK: (based on a $2500 car purchase by a "public" buyer) Buyer fee: $350 Internet bid fee: $49 (only if you use their internet bidding system to buy the car). Pullout fee: $20 (essentially a fee for them to load the vehicle on your truck/trailer- NOT negotiable, but it is not charged if you use their delivery service to have the vehicle delivered to your home/shop) So, in this example, a car you bid $2500 will cost you $2919.

This company preys on mainly Spanish Speaking customers that have no Dealer's license and they settle for this outlet since it's and easy way to buy a car for themselves or for resale with or without a license. Buyer's with any type of license, business or public can buy as many cars as they want, until they get caught by DMV Officials for buying too many cars without a Dealer's license but IAAI doesn't tell them of this as long as they are getting their money.

You are better off buying a car on the street or a Dealer's auction if you have someone who has one. Or if you are going to buy here make sure to spend $20 on a vehicle history report, to make sure you are getting what they say you are getting and do your research on car value in clean condition and cost of parts before you get yourself too deep under the water. Good Luck!
