I have been dealing with the Salits for years! They run a great business and have been nothing but trustworthy and easy to deal with! I would recommend Salit Auto Sales to ANYONE who asks!

The Salit family helped me pick out the perfect, low mileage Mustang convertible. These guys are friendly, no pressure, and will make you feel like you have an uncle in the business. More importantly, they are honest. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I purchased a car from Salit Auto Sales many years. The transaction was so easy and the quality of the car was just what I needed. I live out of state and regularly recommend this business to anyone looking for a positive car buying experience.

I am an old guy. I am not right off the turnip truck. I have bought a lot of cars in my lifetime. When buying a car, I immediately tighten my chin strap and revert to Launch Missile readiness. Further, I am the King of Picky. None of that was necessary in my dealings with Salit Auto Sales. My rather rigid expectations were met, and then some. I mean, I am not one of those New Wave Morality dudes.

My thing is old fashioned integrity. And I bought my new - and you'd think it was - very low mileage Mercury Grand Marquis at the right place, sight unseen, and then shipped it 3,000 miles. In all my years - and I won't tell you how many that is - I have never had a car buying experience like this one. Steve, Mike, and Alan took care of everything.

With professional flair. Without excuses. I was, and remain, stunned. Even if you don't need a car, go buy one from these guys. I hereby confer the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval on Salit Auto Sales.

An exceptional used car emporium. Family owned and very pleasant. I'm very satisfied with the car I bought and the car buying experience there. They should give lessons.

This review is a long time coming. I bought my first car in my 40's after I was able to get bioptic lenses for driving. That is a miracle in itself. So I went to a car lot in my town thinking that I want to do my business at home and support local business. Being a female and completely ignorant of the car buying process and going by myself I was naive and I ended up getting a lemon.

The first time driving the car home by myself on Route 27 the brakes went on me. It was by the grace of God that I made it home alive without hitting somebody or crashing. I immediately called the car dealership and requested a refund. They were willing to take the car back but wanted to keep $1,000 of my money. I also installed a backup camera system that he would not allow me to take out of the car.

So not only did these people take a thousand of my dollars they also got a souped-up hoopty. I would not recommend going here ever. And if you're a woman looking to buy a car make sure you know your stuff before going in because these guys will take advantage and smile in your face while doing it. Thanks for making my first car buying experience absolutely horrifying.

And I'm pretty sure they're going to come back and reply to this review and to that I say there's really nothing you can say I told you I would tell what happened on all social media platforms it only took me a few years to do it. Thanks.

Finding a business that you can trust is invaluable; not only would I trust that the service at Salit auto sales is the best that I can get, I am comfortable knowing that every transaction is an honest one. Salit Auto Sales sells many iconic vehicles (lots of Mustangs) with low mileage in excellent condition. Jerry really takes a lot of pride in his inventory. I bought a beautiful Mustang GT from Salit Auto Sales about a year ago and it was a great experience. It is one heck of a car with super low mileage and I got it for an incredible price. I traveled over 3 hours to buy it and it was well worth it.

The whole transaction was very smooth. A couple of very small issues came up with the car a couple months down the line and they took care of everything and paid the repair shop directly. They are an honest business and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another vehicle from them again.

I contacted Salit about a car they had on line for sale. They recommended I wait to purchase it since they were expecting a lower mileage car due to arrive to them in a few days. When they received the car they contacted me, as promised and sent pictures and Carfax for my review. I bought the car and they shipped it to California, in perfect condition, exactly as they promised, the transaction could not have been better. It was a pleasure doing business with them, and I highly recommend their dealership. Thank you Steve and Alan, we love the car!

Bought a car from Mike - love it! 3 months later the hood flies open while Im driving - luckily no serious injury - a dented hood and broken windshield wiper (quickly replaced the wiper) Went back to Mike when it appeared that at some time the hood had been removed and obviously not reattached correctly. We were happy when he said he would work with us to repair the hood.

We found and bought another hood and when we called Mike to let him know he said that he would no longer work with us - it was our responsibility. Still love the car, just be careful and really inspect your vehicle before you purchase.

I have been car shopping and have visited various dealerships across the state and none of those experiences have been as great as my experience at Salit Auto Sales. They treat you like family and are experts in what they sell. Additionally, they are not pushy at all. All my questions were answered and when it was time to test drive, they just gave me the keys. Although I did not end up buying the car, it was such a different and good expereince compared to other car dealers I had to write this review.

Quick and easy Mike was great to deal with! Did DocuSign and was in and out with title in hand in under 45 mins with a great pre owned car! When I'm ready for another I'll be back!

UPDATE: Salit Auto Sales contacted me after I posted a review based upon ads I had seen on Facebook Marketplace. They explained that someone had hacked their account, and that they were forced to delete the account in order to stop the incoming messages generated by the false posts. They diligently sought me out to rectify the situation, and from a customer relations and damage control point of view, I have to give them 5/5.

The original review below is no longer valid: Salit Auto Sales is currently engaging in illegal business practices by listing vehicles on Facebook Marketplace as being for sale when they do not, in fact, have those vehicles to sell. Specifically dozens of classics and muscle cars, and when I contacted them, they never responded. Instead, they deleted their Facebook page. Shady. Steer clear of them.

I Purchased A Great Low Mileage Car At Salit Auto Sales In Edison, NJ. The Car Is Awesome And So Are The Guys At Salit Auto. They Are Professional. Friendly. And Knowledgeable About Their Autos And Services. I Would Highly Recommend Them.

I came here and they let me test drive every car on the lot. They even let me exceed the 100 mph mark in school zones with kids present. It was a rush. They would encourage me to drift the cars in Walmart parking lots. I mentioned me credit may not be the best they said I could make payments when I had the money because they believed in me. Strongly recommended staying away if you value your drivers lisc and freedom

Wow. What a place. I test drove 23 cars and ran the gas out of all of them. They still let me buy a sweet ride and fueled it up for me too. I spent four days with my salesperson, didn't shower the whole week so I really admire his tenacity. The coffee was thick as non synthetic motor oil after 20,000 miles in a crap engine. I love this place.

What a freaking hoot all of the people are. They didn't even mind that my kid kept honking all the horns in the place. 10/10 would recommend. Wish I lived closer, I would probably use my free time to hang out there for fun.

Wow, What an amazing experience, the guys at Salit Auto Sales know their stuff, not only are they nice, but they have integrity. You don't find honesty and integrity within the automobile business, but at Salit you will. They won't sell you lemons, nor wIll they sell you a car you don't want or need. They are true partners. Get this, although the stock the most popular cars that everyday people want, if they don't have it and you want it, they will go out of their way to find it and get it to you.

I know a guy in California who will buy his cars from Salit and they ship him the car. Let's say you aren't sure and don't want to make a trIp to see them, they will spend time on the phone and FaceTime the car with you, send you pictures and videos of the car, then you can make the final decision. Why am I leaving a one sttar review? To ensure that this review is see by many sinCe the typical algorithms used in these apps tend to show you the bad reviews and not the wonderful and amazing reviews.

I need to prep this by saying I'm not a friend or relative of Steve. I listed a car on Autotrader and he reached out to me and gave me a generous offer. I brought the car over to him half expecting some sort of typical car dealership interaction where he tells me the price he offered isn't good anymore because there is a ding that wasn't disclosed beforehand.

I showed up and met a truly nice person and had the quickest, nicest, most professional car sale interaction I've had in my life. It might have been 20 minutes. He is now looking for the exact car we want as our new car, I cannot more highly recommend him.

Salit Auto Sales helped me so much during a rough couple of weeks I had with my car being totaled. Jerry and Mike were there to cater to every need I had with an extremely smooth process. They sold me a new upgrade of a car from my previous one with a more than reasonable price! Will definitely come back for any of my auto repair needs!

I have purchased 3 cars here over the years and have also used their service dept for all our families cars. This place is a hidden gem. There cars are low mileage in great shape. None of the 100,000 mile clunkers with prices of $9000 that you see elsewhere. And the service is fast, effective at fair prices.

Bought a car from them during the summer. Nice guys but the test drive was short as the owner was in the car and told you where to drive. Car is running well but has had this weird smell that I did not notice at first until my wife told me after I bought the car. It just won't go away. I would give 5 stars, if not for the smell.

I purchased a used Mercury Grand Marquis a few months ago. Nice looking car nice ride. They hid the real problem, the water leak! I expect issues with used autos. I also expect honesty. They hid the leak! The front driver's side mat was present when I looked at and was paying for the car. When I drove the car away and on the highway, I realized it was removed.

It had to be soaked with water, the floor was! They hid the leak, to sell the car. I have since repaired the cause and dried up everything. Greed breeds dishonesty. Problems unknown, ok! They hid the leak, not good. Be honest, we can handle it. Sorry guys. Just be honest, ok.

Found the car I wanted at Salit Auto Sales. Small mom-n-pop place had me worried initially, however I found that the staff there talked fairly straight and with little preamble. Worked out a deal for the car in under 30 minutes from test drive. Picked it up a couple of days later with little waiting on the back end. They are up front with CarFax reports confirmed by a VIN check. What you see if what you get. Good people to deal with and I will consider them again next time I'm in the market for a used car (for my kids. oy).

I have purchased four vehicles from Salit over the last six years for both personal and business use. They have always stood by their product and taken care of any issues. I have also been using them for any repairs and maintenance and have always been pleased. I can't imagine going anywhere else to purchase a used vehicle.

Have been having my 2011 Nissan Pathfinder maintained at Salit Auto since I purchased the car. Would never think of going anywhere else. They are one of the most honest dealerships/repair shops I've come across. When I needed new tires, it was between Michelin and a lesser known brand. Mike, from the repair shop told me the Michelin were not worth the money and the lesser known brand was as good. I've come into the shop from work around 3:30 and they fit me in for an oil change. So not only are they honest, their customer service is top notch!
