I officially LOVE JOYCE HONDA! When I came to the dealership, the first person I spoke to was my salesman, Ignacio Mercado. He was very polite and friendly and I enjoyed working with him throughout the whole process of me getting my new Honda! Although I didn't get the Honda I was looking for the finance manger Andre worked diligently to help me search for another car which I have today and I love it so much.
Overall I am very pleased with this dealership and it was such a great experience and I would refer anyone that's looking for a Honda to Joyce Honda and to speak with salesman Ignacio Mercado.

We have been servicing with Joyce for over 11 years and have had great service throughout. However this last time was horrible. The service advisor Ken was sarcastic and dismissive. He tried to sell us a bunch of services the vehicle didn't need as opposed to concentrating on what our core issues were. I asked him to contact me once the car was done and I never received a call.
Once I declined the extra stuff He half listened and was short with my wife. It was very disappointing especially now that my daughter has her drivers license and we're in the market for another vehicle, and Honda was on the top of our list.

I THOUGHT I was satisfied until I was left stranded due to NO water in my battery. My battery was never checked or you would have also noted that there was a build up of corrosion on the battery terminals. My car has been serviced twice at your facility and obviously neither time was the battery thoroughly checked. Three days after the multi service check and oil change, this never should have happened. Service done on 5/23 and left stranded with a dead battery on 5/29. unacceptable!

I had a good experience here. If I were rating my sales person alone (Melissa), I would have given this review 5 stars. Definitely go to Melissa! She was personable, kind, patient, informative, and I think she gave me a good deal! I'm looking forward to doing business with her again once my lease is up.

To sum it all up, what started as a great buying experience and 5-star review quickly changed to a unsatisfactory new vehicle acquisition and a less than great experience. Joyce Honda will never see a penny from me again. And sincerely hope losing a customer over a $500 windshield (because that's what they cost) is worth losing a guaranteed $40k every 3 to 4 years.

Took the very ancient antique Accord here to see what the "Maintenance Required" light was all about. From beginning to end, I was nothing but impressed. My appointment time was honored, then John in the service department called me to follow up, told me what was being done, including many complimentary checks. I even got an oil change, and enjoyed a cold beverage in the lounge. When I got the bill, the price was so good, I paid and sped away before they realized their mistake! Great job, team! Worth the gas and tolls from Queens!

Service is pretty good. Ken T. is terrific. I find him to be very helpful. I have noticed some changes in the way things are done. For example, in the past when I would come in for scheduled maintenance or the signature service I would usually have someone explain what was going on with the car, the services I would need to have done, and which services I would need to address soon.
I really haven't had that experience in a long time. I also use to get 10% discounts and that doesn't happen either. I've been coming in for 20 years and I guess things change. I recently spent about 2000.00 there and I'm not done yet. I think I may have had a better handle on the condition of my car if the communication was better. Please hang on to Ken. He seems to be your best asset.

Be careful! I moved from Bergen County to Morris County and the lease on my CR-V was coming due. I negotiated a lease on a new, 2022 CR-V. I had tire and wheel repair/replacement built into my previous lease (along with oil change and windshield repair/replacement, so I accepted 2 years for tire and wheel replacement and agreed to pay $250 for the third year (they wouldn't budge for $250. i increased my out of pocket to keep the payment where I was comfortable.
I went to pick up the new car today, they ran my credit card with the out of pocket and $250 for tire/wheel for the third year but they did this after they sent me over the the finance guy. He wanted to sell me a package that included tire and wheel coverage along with lost key, dent, (who knows that qualifies as a covered dent), windshield repair, a few oil changes (I don't think all), and something else for an additional $20/mo.
I told him if I took that I would expect a credit for the $250 I was charged for the third year tire/wheel because I'd be paying for that twice (once in the package) - so much double speak, even from the sales manager - the math doesn't lie but I felt scammed and told them so. Of course I didn't buy the package but also told them all packages should be presented at the time of negotiating the price but I'm not expecting that to happen.

Incompetence is the best description of their service department. Bought a car from them. Took my car there to get fixed. They gave me a date to bring it back to get fixed, and to take a loaner vehicle. My car was there for a week and a half. That's a long time for a job that takes an hour to do. Apparently they mixed up my car's info with a different car.
So it sat there that whole time and nothing was done. All I got after a week and a half was a service quote. So I returned the loaner to pick up my unfinished car. The lady hands me my car keys, doesn't even tell me where my car is or have it brought out to me, so I walk around the entire building looking for it, finally find it, and get in. Oil stains on both car doors, glove box, and seat.
As I'm taking pictures of the stains, an employee comes over and hands me the keys to the loaner vehicle that I just returned. For some reason he thinks that I'm picking up a loaner. I tell him that I just returned the same loaner and I'm picking up my car. He apologizes and walks away. Incompetence, and no communication. Also, when I was calling to check up on my car, I was put on hold and accidentally hung up on 3 times. Getting in touch with a service manager by phone is next to impossible.
So I wasted my time and gas on four separate trips there, and nothing to show for it but stress and headaches. The sales department is great, but the entire service department is untrained and incompetent. Never again.

The service I received at Joyce Honda was great. The appointment time was kept on schedule, the time it took to complete the service was as promised. The staff was professional and answered all my questions. The waiting area is clean and comfortable and I was able to work while waiting for my car to be repaired. I find that repairing my car at Joyce Honda adds to my peace of mind. I know I can trust the staff to maintain my cars in great condition. I have used Joyce Honda services for years and have been very satisfied.

I recently picked up my 7th new car from Joyce Honda, and could not be happier with the whole buying process. I know some others have left negative reviews, recently about added on fees.
They are part of a Dealer purchase process. In these very trying times of coming out of a Pandemic, there needs to be some give, to keep them in business. They are trying to stay afloat with what they can get from the factory, which is only about 10% of the inventory they're used to getting. I waited over 4 months to get the car I ordered, but, well worth the wait, to have received it from Joyce Honda.

It was quick and easy to get there and get checked in for service. However, I wish the person I made my appointment with told me that cars needed to be scheduled 2+ weeks ahead of time if you want a loaner. However, it's amazing that they provide a shuttle back home and they'll even send you a shuttle to pick you up when your service is complete. The quickness of the shuttle depends on how busy they are.
One time, I got a shuttle to pick me up right away and a second time, the shuttle took over an hour so eventually I got a friend to pick me up and take me to get my car. The staff is really kind and welcoming!

I had a bad experience with one of the oil change chains in the business that I use to go since 2018. I called Joyce Honda on Friday morning and got an appointment for Saturday morning. Everything was fine! Customer service, follow up call letting me know the car was ready and the best part the cost for the service was competitive. I definitely recommend.

If I could rate 0 starts I would. They called me stating there was a VIP event and offered to sell me a vehicle at MSRP. Drove from out of state to make the deal only to be told by a salesman and manager that this should not have happened, and that they have no reason to sell it for any less than 4000 above MSRP. As a courtesy as to not waste my time, they offered me a low ball offer on my trade in which they made sure to deduct $480 for the tires as well. There was no accountability, no resolution and no deal. Just a bait and switch. Be wary dealing with this dealership.

Had an amazing experience here compared to the Honda on 23. Devon was great in showing me all my options and giving me all costs and fees (bare minimum) up front. For the same exact deal (buying out my lease), Joyce Honda had about 4 THOUSAND less dollars in fees that the other dealership said "was mandatory" and "was for the boss to buy his yacht" (wish I was kidding about that one). Make the trip and go to Joyce Honda if you're looking for a Honda vehicle. And ask for Devon!

I like the people that worked their but I didn't like after spending thousands of dollars on cars there was no one that couldn't help me to put my front plate on my crv, the frame that hold the plate was stolen with the plate and when I called and went there to see if they can give me one that was used they didn't even bothered to do it, they wanted me to pay for a new one in which I was very upset about after I bought all my cars from them. If that's how they treat a loyal customers I will not be buying anything else.

We have leased 4 pilots, this past lease with Joyce was the most horrendous situation we have ever found ourselves in. They stuck us in an Affinity lease. Now that we are coming to the end of our lease agreement, they tell us that it's a terrible leasing company- they put us with them! And now they refuse to do anything to help us end our lease and re-lease a new Pilot. It is less expensive for us to go to Acura, where they will end our lease and put us into a brand new MDX- much nicer car and less expensive! Unbelievable!

Made an appointment for brake service based on the technician's recommendation during a recent oil change. After waiting 30mins in the combined bottlenecked 'appointments' and 'express oil change' lines, I left my car with an estimated 2hr wait time. Six hours later, I call for an update only to be told by the technician, "Oh, I tried calling you several times!" (he didn't), "It turns out you don't need brakes at all, come pick up your car." During previous services, Joyce Honda has failed to properly replace the oil cap resulting in a large leak on my driveway, as well as spilled transmission and brake fluid on part of the engine, which they generously cleaned after telling me the car could've caught fire if I'd let it go(?!). Three strikes later, I'm finding a mechanic who doesn't treat the car I need to work like a science experiment.

Car dealers. where you expect to see only the bad reviews. People never leave good reviews of car dealers. So okay, a few years ago I was in a bind with a Focus with a bad transmission (this is how they all were made) and needed a replacement. Joyce was the closest Honda dealer. I walked in, simultaneously trying to walk off the lot with a car and not project desperation.
I didn't get a great deal on the new car, but they gave me more on the trade-in than I probably deserved, so not bad overall. Their financing program was easy, they weren't pushy on the sale. Fast forward to service. That's make or break, and here, it's make. I was offered 10 free oil changes with my new car. First time I came here for one, they had no record of it, but they gave me one anyway.
By the third time, I finally gave them the name of my salesperson and the questions have ceased. But in all that time. they believed me. I applaud that. The service prices have been very reasonable, the technicians have been honest and told me what I did or didn't need. I'm spending far less on my Honda at the dealer than I did for an independent service location with any of my previous cars. They've been willing to drive me several miles to my workplace if I had to come in on a weekday, and then come pick me up again. Very strongly appreciate that. Touches like that keep me coming back.

I do not recommend Nicole taveres she is a fraud she use to work for delta auto sales and because they were scamming people she left and is not working here. She will lie to your face for any easy money. Do not buy cars from her! She is a fraud. Service review: This was my go to Honda dealer for 5 years. I've got so disappointed few days ago. Absolutely lazy. Rep. (Jonathan) Asked Me to put the tag on the mirror and ask me to read odometer for him. That's his job. Never saw this guy before. Must be the new. Or I missed him. One of the worst rep. That I had. So unprofessional, he forgot what I told him to check on my car.
He said, it will be done in 3 hrs. Bullshxx. And most importantly, I spent $600 service and got 0 explanations about what they did. 0 explained. He saw my face but he just handled over paper work to receptionist and walked away. Lazy attitude. I don't deserve to get this kind of shit treatment from him. I saw guy who spent $145 on his car. His Rep. kindly explained to the customer what they did and what went wrong and spent few mins.

I recently purchased a 2019 CRV from another dealer. Unfortunately I hit a pot hole, cracked my rim, and needed the tire replaced. Joyce Honda ordered my rim and tire. Scheduled my appointment and completed the service, they also arranged payment through my platinum coverage. I noticed when I got home that they put a different tire brand on the replacement of my brand new car!
This was not disclosed to me and I am very upset. This otherwise would have been a positive review. How could you not replace with the same tire and/or tell th? Proceed with caution. Because this location is so convenient, I decided to give it another shot. I called today to schedule an oil change and a recall service. The lady on the phone stated she was unsure if they had the required parts for the recall and I would need to confirm first with their parts department before making the appointment.
The poor customer service continues. The attendant lacked the skills to complete this verification and schedule the appointment. This was the only detour I needed to decide not to move ahead. I scheduled at another dealer, quickly and almost effortlessly.

I would rate a 0 if I had that option. Back when we bought our 2013 Honda Ex in May 2013, they put it in writing via email that they would sell it to us for $22,900 "AFTER" taxes and fees. I said to myself, wow thats an awsome deal. I went to other neighboring Hondas and the closest I could get it was $23,000 "BEFORE" taxes and fees, so we went ahead with Joyce.
We went through the formalities of the deal and after my wife signed the forms, I saw the receipt, said $23,190. I said to myself ehhh it's only $290 more. BUT! as I kept reading down the contract, $23,190 was the price before taxes and fees and the final cost was $25,954.20! #$%@! Talk about buyer's remorse! We basically got played for $3,054.20 more than what was agreed upon. PLEASE DON'T BE FOOLED LIKE US! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. BTW!

4:24 pm I pulled in Joyce Honda for an oil change. There were 5 cars including mine. It's now 6:08 pm and my car has just been pulled to a bay. I completely understand an hour is a lot to ask for but as I see it I'm looking at maybe pulling out of here by 7pm. That right there is sorry service. I come here for the coupons and convenience Groupons are reasonable. So if you plan on coming here for a simple oil change better get ready to be here most of your day. This is one of the many reasons why people don't go to the dealer.

Been a happy Joyce client for 5 years since I left the lot with my 2012 Civic. I have always relied on their service center to maintain and keep my vehicle in tip top shape. The guys over at service are the BEST (thank you Ernest!) Sadly, it's time to part with my car as I no longer need a vehicle. I came back to Joyce hoping to have an appraisal done of the value of my Civic, only to be told that the dealer only allows same day appraisals if behind sold today.
I said fine, I'd wanted to do what any vehicle owner in my situation would do - think over a few different offers before making a decision. Then I said f--k it, I'll just sell today. Drove my car back a few minutes later asking George to appraise my vehicle. If the price was reasonable, they could take my car. Was told shortly after that there was no more time in his day for an appraisal and to come back a week later.

I said fine, I'd wanted to do what any vehicle owner in my situation would do - think over a few different offers before making a decision. Then I said f--k it, I'll just sell today. Drove my car back a few minutes later asking George to appraise my vehicle. If the price was reasonable, they could take my car. Was told shortly after that there was no more time in his day for an appraisal and to come back a week later.

Waiting here at Joyce Honda pre-owned dept for something (great service, - these guys -including Cory Wiesel - all so low key and not pushy).but was very impressed to see VP Tom (part of the Greco owner family I just found out), and Sales Manager Angel Perez come out with brooms to sweep up remaining floor dust from car driven out of showroom. Pride and setting the example from the top. Very impressed. As long as I'm in North Jersey I'll be a loyal customer because of the simple respect, honesty, good prices. Highly recommend these guys.
