I am on my third Hyundai lease and I really think it's because of their service department. Last week my car wouldn't start and I called Hyundai road service and it was towed to Towne Hyundai. i received a call from Ubaldo and was told it was my starter. Not only was it repaired the same day at no charge because of their amazing warantee, Ubaldo picked me up at my home. Ubaldo called me the next to make sure all was good with my car. My experience with Hyundai was very good attention. From the seller Anthony and Jeff the manager. No hidden fees took his time to negotiate the car that I wanted Hyundai Santa Fe, quick approval. you don't feel pressured to make a quick decision and that's why I recommend this dealer for seeing honesty and I feel very satisfied for in the future I would return to this place. I want to take a minute to brag on Towne Hyundai, specifically Joe Ippolito and his assistants Janel and Beatriz! For the first time, I was car shopping solo and I was anxious. I did my research but car buying, especially in this market, is foreign to me. I was referred to Joe Ippolito at Towne Hyundai by a friend. When I called to make an appointment with Joe, Beatriz was friendly and helpful.

She was especially accommodating on the day of my appointment when I needed to reschedule the time. I appreciated the flexibility! Aside from being friendly and courteous, Joe was respectful and knowledgeable. He was patient and listened as I explained my circumstances, concerns, needs and wants. He answered all of my questions with transparency and quickly was able to find me the car I needed with the features I wanted for a price that was reasonable and I could afford.

Initially nervous to be car shopping by myself, all of my fears were eased because Joe made me feel like he was there, not as a salesman for the dealership, but as a trusted friend helping me buy a car! Joe's assistant Janel was amazing! She quickly and effectively walked me through the entire process and sat with me for as long as I needed to become familiar and comfortable with all of the features of my new car.

I was in and out in a few hours, with exactly what I wanted! It was a wonderful experience and I am extremely grateful to Joe, Janel, Beatriz and the entire Towne Hyundai team! Isn't she beautiful?!

Found ourselves in need of a new car during what is obviously a tough time for car buying. Went to towne Hyundai after much research on local dealerships. It was so nice to not be bombarded with sales people while we were looking at the different models. Instead we were able to seek out Peter who was super patient while we asked him to pull several cars from the lot for us to see and answered tons of questions for us.

At no time did he try to sell us on anything. We were in and out with our new lease in record speed. I have never had such a quick and easy experience at a dealership. The finance manager also did not try to sell us on any extras. So refreshing. The experience was so much more Pleasant that what I was expecting.

I waited for nearly 2 months for an appointment at Towne Hyundai in Denville NJ in order to deal with an ABS recall on my 2015 Genesis. In addition, several lights on the dashboard were illuminated.). The ABS recall entailed the replacement of 2 fuses (a job that takes no more than a few minutes). They called and told me that the ABS recall was complied with and that there is a service bulletin that is required (replacement of all the brake fluid tubes) but parts need to be ordered.

I asked the service advisor to look into the other issues while waiting for parts and my request fell on deaf ears. I kept trying to follow up on the state of my car but they were evasive and untruthful (when I was lucky enough to get them to return my calls) Messages left to the service manager and general manager were ignored. Finally after they had the car for 19 days, they installed the parts and then they emailed me with a request to authorize a diagnostic fee of $420 for the dashboard lights.

I authorized it under protest as the car is under Hyundai's extended warranty (Platinum level). Here is the best part: They called to tell me that there was a rodent infestation in my car and sent me pictures of a disassembled center console with their "evidence". The pictures were FABRICATED! I asked them what it will take to repair the car and I was told it is "very complicated" and that they have to tear deeper into it.

I gave them 5 more days then called again and they came up with nothing! I requested to have my car back and they told me I can come in two hours and get it (that is a proof that they did not "tear deeper" into anything). I took the car back (they had it for 25-26 days), I tried to sell it to several of the on-line car buyers but because of the dashboard lights I was offered 50% of the value of a fully operational car.

I then made an appointment with Lynnes Hyundai in Bloomfield NJ, I waited two weeks and once I brought the car to them, they had it diagnosed within a few minutes and isolated the problem to the Yaw Rate Sensor which is located IN THE CENTER CONSOLE! There was no evidence of rodents, no damage of any kind. The part was ordered, installed, calibrated, and voila!

The car is fixed. All total in less than 3 hours. My last 5 cars were Hyundai products. I was going to trade this car for a GV80 but this experience with Towne Hyundai, and the failure of the Hyundai company to intervene made my decision easy to switch to a Volvo XC90. Bottom line is: a piece of advice, stay clear of the incompetent and worse, dishonest Towne Hyundai.

Today my wife picked up her new lease - 2022 Santa Fe at Towne Hyundai. It is our 2nd car from the shop. 1st one is my Sonata. Our salesman Jose Espinal gave great service to answer questions and went extra mile to help us get the best deal. He is off on Tuesday but still get to the dealership to help us pick up the vehicle. It is a pleasure to do business with Jose and this dealership.

Joe & Janelle have restored my faith in dealerships! I came in to trade my suv for the new Tucson and the first rep i met gave me a lower amount and payments were crazy. Danielle gave me a call a week later and told me come in we have a great salesmen to work with. I met Joe and janelle on a Saturday, they were able to get me to the value for my trade i wanted, and payments to what i wanted!

The process was pain free quick and easy. They both have gone above and beyond for me and I'm very happy with my purchase especially from this dealership and these two! Recommending them to all of my family and friends!

Watch out, these people are master of boobi traps and solicitators, went for an oil change and the price went up 35%,n ot only but they did not wash car and tire rotation which offered before, all this without tell me first. Every f. time I'm goin for oil change they alway want to spend 3 /400 $ more, when it's all fine, this time they wanted me to put new tires, . At the end I'm goin to an other dealer, hopefully that they nicer

Towne Hyundai is the best! I called ahead to find out what premium they charge over MSRP, they didn't play any games with me and were upfront. The premium was reasonable and we were able to schedule a same day visit. Danielle and Sonny were both super helpful. Sonny even took the time to sit in the vehicles with us after the purchase to go over how to use all the technical functions. I recently bought my first car at Towne Hyundai and it was the most pleasant experience ever! Peter Ibrahim was my salesperson and he was amazing! He explained a lot for me to understand on how things work, by leasing or financing and to which payment plan that's best for me. At this time when buying a car is generally a very difficult experience I found that Joe Ipolitio was extremely helpful and a pleasure to do business with. We purchased a 2018 Tuscon Limited with only 18,000 miles in beautiful condition and several years left on the original warranty. Joe and his staff walked us through the process, answering all of our question.

Now two weeks after purchasing the car Joe, Tatiana and Jess are still calling to make sure that everything is okay. They have gone above and beyond our expectations. Very Highly Recommended!

Waited almost three weeks for brakes, coolant tubing and air conditioning to be fixed. Service advisor would "forget" to call me back or provide any updates, even though repairs were expected to take a week and a half. When I finally paid for the repairs, I was given a car with a check engine light on. Customer service staff was very defensive and insisted I pay for an additional diagnostic test. Asked why they wouldn't check the car before handing it back to the customer?

No real response. I understand that covid is affecting the auto industry, but good customer service goes a long way. Car drives fine and repairs were made. Edit: Towne Hyundai was supposed to call me back to fix the air conditioner once "specially ordered" condenser arrived. Big surprise, no call back in over two weeks. Took the car down to the local repair shop who fixed the car's air conditioner in less than 24 hours.

Ask for Jose Matos! BEST car buying experience from our first meeting to driving my beautiful CPO 2019 Tuscon out of the dealership. Jose took the time to go over every single feature, was patient with all of my questions and even followed up with a personal call to see how things were going. Towne Hyundai is an amazing place if you are looking for a new car. Joe & his team do a great job with no hassle and no pressure sales. It is a seamless process each team. I have been coming here for the last 11 years and have leased/ purchased 7 vehicles in this time. I have also recommend family and friends who have also had the same experience. TLDR: no respond when I asked question about lease money factor, residual value and "today's price". For leasing, money factor (or MF) and residual value (RV) are the most important things because it affect you MONTHLY PAYMENT. You can Google this and there are thousands of pages that talk about this. Car manufacturers provides the baseline value, but dealer can CHANGE the MF.

So it is prudent for buyer to ask the dealer these lease information. Towne Hyundai have a "Get today's price" button and you can enter additional questions, which I asked about the MF and RV based on my zip code. I received ZERO response. It's as if Towne Hyundai want to "hide" this information? I sent another follow-up emails and no response.

Other dealers provide this information, so why not Towne Hyundai? I dare Towne Hyundai to respond and explain why they will NOT provide this information. EDIT: I see that the Manager (Jay Hakim) responded to me. I have no way to email him so I will put it here. Jay, if you'd like, you can DM me in Yelp. 1). I did NOT receive any response from your sales associate.

I received an email from assistance@townehyundai.dsmessage.com and conciergecenter@smartdigital.jdpower.com. 2). Those emails seems to be "automated", but I still replied back and asked if they can provide the information. No response so far. 3). Given the experience, I prefer that Towne Hyundai or Jay Hakim EMAILED me, so any leasing information is in writing. A phone call is verbal conversation, so I don't want to end up with "He said, I said" situation. Unfortunately, my emails (plural) went nowhere.

Just picked up my 2021 Hyundai Tucson and I am so excited to drive it to work tomorrow. Joe Ippolito sold me my first Hyundai 7 years ago and I knew he was the person I would go to for my second. He and his team made this buying process so easy, he made sure he did everything he could to get me exactly what I wanted. Courtney was very sweet and answered all of my questions or had Joe get back to me with an answer.

She took her time to go over all the cool features in the car and I really appreciated that. Overall I am very happy I went back to see Joe for my second purchase. I will be recommending him to anyone looking for a new ride

Let me just start by saying that not only does this dealership provide good value, but they also take really good care of their inventory. I'd visited two other dealership on the same day before going to Towne Hyundai and frankly I was extremely frustrated with all the salesmen I had to deal with all day who tried a little too hard to make the sale. Peter Ibrahim was a breath of fresh air.

He was professional, friendly and incredibly cooperative. I went in and walked out with a red 2018 Sonata Sport! He didn't bother with the hard sale, did not badger me to finance with them and made the entire process incredibly hassle free. He gave me helpful unbiased facts and I ended up financing with them because they gave me a really good rate. This dealership was definitely worth the trip from NY to NJ and I'd definitely go back.
