I have been taking my Subaru to this dealer since purchasing it in 2019. I've had good experiences in the past, but my most recent visit was not one of them. My appointment was at 1 pm and I was told they would call in an hour or two to give me an update on when it would be ready. I wasn't contacted for the rest of the day. I went to pick it up the next day when I finally received a call that it was ready and told me it had been washed (as I requested), and when I got back to my car it was clearly not washed.

If I could give no stars I would. I called and asked if they had a tire in stock since I popped my tire. I was told that brand was in stock and I could come by at 3pm yesterday and it would be done within an hour. I get there and somehow they don't have it and need to order it and can order it for the next day. Today I call at 3 and they say they've forgot about it and are going to now start working on it and to call after 5pm to make sure it is all set and to pay for it.
I call at 5 and there is only one person left there and my tire can't be found. My name does not come up and there is no records of me even dropping it off. I am extremely frustrated and can't do anything because I can't even go get my popped tire back. Edit: They were able to find the tire after Mark in service called around after hours. He was extremely helpful and did his best. Unfortunately, he was the only helpful person there and the communication between employees there is poor. I won't be able to trust bringing my car back.

I have been getting my leased cars here for many years. They have started to go downhill and all of the sales people we enjoyed ended up leaving. I had to wait almost 2 hours before going into the finance office when they knew the day before we were coming at a certain time. They said oh sorry we were having technical difficulties. This happened more than once. They messed up on my birthday and another important item on my credit report paperwork.

I bought a car from them without visiting thier lot. The drove it out to me(2 hours each way). Everything was easy and professional. Only issue was the navigation SD card was missing. $200 dollar item that should have been with the car. I asked about it and they said they would mail one out to me. That was 2 months ago and nothing. Other than that I was very happy but since they didn't follow up on the SD card thing I won't buy from them again. My wife is car shopping now and they are not on the list because of a $200 dollar item. If it ever shows up I'll update this review.

After 10 years of positive car purchases and service, our family will never return to this dealership. Despite numerous assurances someone will return a call, nobody ever does, and this after an employee recently totaled our vehicle (and was cited). We are still trying to get it straightened out and even that hasn't warranted a phone call. We've been patient, but the lack of service is disappointing and has lost them our trust.

Even taking the supply chain issues into account, this was a disaster. I ordered a vehicle in January. Estimate (with little certainty) 6-12 weeks. During this period I didn't hear a peep from them. Not a word. When I started calling around week 6 they said they had no information on when the car would arrive. This seemed odd, since on a forum that specifically tracked the model Subaru I was looking for, people got updates at every stage of the process.
Not having infinite patience, at week 13 I started looking online, hoping to find a suitable vehicle on the lot that hadn't already been sold. Surprisingly, I found TWO at another dealership. And they weren't sold. I bought one there the next day. Now I hope I can get my deposit back from Acton.

Amazing customer service! I needed my transmission changed and had my warranty company cover the cost. The company itself was very difficult and unprofessional but these guys here at Mcgovern was very patient and helpful. Shootout to mark! He was amazing, helpful & very understanding and was willing to work it out for me. Thank you guys!

I just want to share my happiness with Village Subaru and my salesperson Eric and his boss Jim. I ordered a Sport Forester in November in white and they came up with a similar car in a different color and let me have it in early January. They could have had me wait another 1-4 months for the one I ordered but gave me the option of taking one sooner.
I know they could have sold it to someone easily if they kept it for their stock. In addition, they honored a price based on when we placed the order in November, even though there was a small increase from Subaru-which they could have charged. In all, I'm really pleased with their honesty and coming through for me.and I love the car! In a world where some dealers charge one to four thousand over retail price, these guys are a breath of fresh air!
