I wish I could give them zero stars. The only reason I'm writing a review is because I'm super upset & the guy who I spoke too was disrespectful & rude. I ordered a part. & they sold me the wrong one. Instead of listening to my issue he cutt me off. Gave me a excuse for giving me the wrong part. Because I explained why the part would not work he gave in cutt me off and said he'll refund me & to throw the part away. hanging up in my face after I requested a refund. I've never been treated like that I'd never refer you guys to my mechanics & I wish I didn't waste my time & money.

This business is a stand up company. I called ahead to verify that they had what I needed. I had a long drive and did not want to waste time or gas and find out they did not have the part. They confirmed that they had it. When I arrived they pulled the part and noticed that it was damaged. They went above beyond to fix the error. I would highly recommend Stoney Creek Auto to anyone. I would not hesitate to buy from the again.

Do not buy from here. They do not honor their policies. They sold me a trans that they said they could not test so they were selling a a lower price. I took the chance because of the price. The trans didn't work not they want to argue about the refund. Ended up charging me a restocking fee on a part that didn't work and you don't have a part to warranty it with. We will see you in court. We have every call on tape.

Bought a transmission from them with around 86000 miles. They were honest and told me they didn't get to check it, as the vans engine was out of commission when they got it. I inquired about a warranty due to this and I was told they would back the part up. My trans shop checked it out before installing it and said it looked really good. He drove my van after installing it and said it shifts and works great.
Upon reading a lot of the negative reviews written, I must say, I received a call back the same day, to let me know when I could pick it up. I also witnessed how busy they are as I was there at 9 a.m. opening and they already were on the phones with customers and had me and another customer in the building. I have purchased from them years ago and have always had great outcomes with the parts I've purchased. Thank You for your honesty, great parts and prices.

Place lured us in by quoting us $500 for our car. Got there and they refused to give anything over $300 and got upset when I asked for them to honor their quote. Gave us money for a car sure, but expect them to high ball the price at first. :edit: They have a part of their system where you send a picture of the car. Apparently the owner is confident offering a quote gauging off an image but will spike it when you come in. Either up the amount of data that can be uploaded for these images from 50kb, or dont base your reputation on an image that doesn't give you the full information.

Had transmissions problems with a car I owned. I called stony creek auto to see if they possibly wanted to buy the vehicle as is. (I also let them know the car had been in an accident and I have a copy of salvage title.) (whoever I spoke to on the phone said that would be fine) I did not expect much but the car was in great condition other than the trans.
A mechanic could fix it up cheap. As I assumed they would. He told me he could only give me $125 and would tow my vehicle also. I said ok and waited. They did not contact me until about 30 minutes before they closed which made me have to immediately leave work to go there. I showed up and the "owner" told me he would not take the title and that he was also not going to pay me.
Obviously upset at being misled I asked what I could do. He said to get a different title (takes at least 2 weeks) or he would claim abandonment and in a week the vehicle would be theirs. I had a vehicle finessed out of my possession and when I asked to get it off the property he had the nerve to say I had to pay for the tow, which was almost everything he owed me. The mans a crook. Maybe a good place to go pull a part off a car but I would never recommend doing any type of real business with them.

Bought a transmission almost 2 weeks ago from here. The price was comparable to other junk yards. It was missing a vent, which cost $11. No big deal except the shop charged me $85 to pick it and put it on. So it cost ended up costing me an extra $95. I picked up my jeep today. So far its running good. I'll update if things change! (Pray they don't!) 1-20-19. Update Jeep is still running like a champ

Aside from Parts Galore, this is the only remaining junkyard in Monroe County. I've been going here occasionally for the past 13 years to get parts for any car I might've had. They have a ton of common cars in their lot. I drive a Focus, and they have probably over a dozen in their lot. So, this is the first place I go to when I need a new part.
Most of the time, they will pull the part for you and have it waiting at the counter. Sometimes, you can just go back in the lot and get the parts yourself. All of their parts are very cheap and functional. I bought two tires/rims for $70, and they've lasted almost a year now. I also bought a $50 alternator and a myriad of other replacement items.
Anything you buy comes with a 30-day money back guarantee, which is awesome if you're buying a used electronic part. Their website is pretty good too, and they also sell through eBay and ship the parts. UPDATE: My car died, and they offered me $200 for it. I called them, and they came the next day to pick it up and cut me a check.
