Love my car! I know that I was not the easiest customer. I took a lot of time to decide because this was my first car purchase on my own. I had a lot to learn and many questions and honestly, the online car dealers were not clear in their answers or just did not seem to care. I stopped at Tyme as a fluke and it was a good thing I did. From the beginning Junior spent time with me and let me drive several cars so that I could narrow down what I'd feel comfortable in.
He helped me with everything and I did not feel pressured to choose right away. He even told me that he'd find me a car if he didn't have what I was looking for. He recommended which credit union has a simple process. I thought I'd have to have cash for the entire car! I ended up with a newer car that I feel much safer driving and a very small monthly payment.
Everyone is nice there I didn't even have to go to the Secretary of State, they just called me when my license plates came in and even put them on my car for me. I have since seen a car that is just like mine except with a lot more miles on Facebook for over $2000 more than I paid for it! I will be back when the time comes and definitely will send anyone who needs a car here.

Husband and I test drove 2 cars here today. We were going to finance with our bank and come back on Monday to purchase. A few hours later we received several phone calls that they can't find the key to the car we test drove, so we must have stole the key. We've checked all of our belongings, we do not have the key, but they are insistent that we stole it. Likely that the salesman misplaced the key, but I guess it's more convenient to blame the folks that *were* going to buy your car.

I had been truck searching for over 2 weeks and FINALLY came across what I thought was a good deal at TYME Auto using the cars.com app. I was very skeptical about this small business because before I decided to go, I read THESE SAME REVIEWS and noticed a lot of very upset 1 stars, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and bit the hook anyway out of desperation.
They had a 2010 F150 with 130kish miles listed for around $7,000. Which off the bat seemed off. but after a bit of research I had discovered the vehicle had been in 3 minor accidents. That and the fact that it was 2wd justified the price in my head. After calling the dealer twice in one day talking to a polite gentleman that went by the name of Brendan, I was very eager to come see the truck the following day.
So we set the appointment to arrive around 3pm. I drove over an hour and a half in TERRIBLE road conditions, only to arrive at one of the shadyest dealer lots ive ever seen. The truck was scheduled to see was covered in snow and ice. Not presentable at all, and when I was doing my initial walk around I noticed MANY dings, rust, and major scratches in the vehicle that every single picture posted I saw, failed to show.
Along with the rear bumper looking like it was superglued to the frame. When the truck started, it sounded very rough and had a constant tick in the engine. So we let it warm up to see if the problem persisted. And it did. After talking with Brendan for about 10 minutes and learning that the truck had already been sitting there for over a month, I asked if it would be okay to take it to the nearest dealer to get an outside opinion on it as I was not very knowledgeable on the "normal" engine noises of the 2010 fords. Hesitant at first, eventually he agreed after I reassured him how long I would be and where I was going.
And he walked inside quickly to grab paperwork for the test drive. After a few minutes of inspecting the inside while he was away, I noticed water damage on the headliner (also not shown in the pictures) and stains in the seat. Reminding readers of this review that this truck looked nearly flawless in their posted photos online. So Brendan comes out and says "hey man im really sorry but my boss inside said she just took a deposit on the truck over the phone an hour ago I had no idea, I cant let you leave with it".
Very upset, reminding him of my trip and our conversations the previous day, knowing it wasn't his fault, I ask to speak to his boss. So I go inside and see this woman who introduced her herself as Heather. Politely, I explain to her now, that I had spoken to Brendan the day before eager to purchase the vehicle and had just traveled from the border of Ohio to get there.
I was also willing to put 1500 down in CASH as a deposit and offered to pay in full if everything checked out. Exceeding the deposit mentioned, showing her the envelope, and assuring her I was a serious buyer. She replies crossing her arms "im sorry but I just took a deposit on the truck an hour ago, legally I can't do anything and have to hold it for 24 hours" not budging at all. KNOWING that this was the worst excuse ever for me to not drive that thing off the lot and get a professional opinion.
The odds that the truck had been sitting there over a month and suddenly had TWO buyers on the same day. weird. right? So I chuckle at her, shake my head, say "I see, thank you very much" and closed the door behind me. Irate, I had to explain what was going on to my 20 yr old sister who drove me all this way and took time off of her college studies to help me out, why our trip was absolutely pointless. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. DO NOT GO ANYWAY DESPITE THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS, DO NOT PASS GO, DO NOT COLLECT $200. SHADY! SHADY! SHADY!
I NEVER write reviews but this is by far the absolute worst experience I've had at any used car vendor. Heed the warning and the rants, we aren't just angry customers, we write these to warn other curious fish nibbling at the temptations of stealerships. Spend your money elsewhere! They don't want it!

Well I am Not very happy. Spent $8000 cash on a vehicle with a good carfax report. Had it checked out by mechanic before purchasing, ran full scans of operating systems all good. Recieved a 30 warenty at purchasing. Here I am 45 days after purchase, just 14 days after warenty has expired. We have to replace Timing chain, throttle body, and purge valve. I call up to the lot to see what they can help me with. I'm told that I would be called back in 10 minutes. Well that was over 2 hours ago.

I went in here dec. 2016 to look at a relative high priced cruze ($8,000) with a manual transmission. Test drove the car liked it & even with $4,000 down plus a trade could not get them down to the price I wanted. What should have been an easy sale was a PITA. I went to their own favorite lender & got a better rate. Finally went back to their lender was going to buy the car then that lender snubbed me at the door saying they needed more documentation for a loan they had allready approved. THIS part wasnt TYMEs fault.
Long story short I waited & just sat on the down payment. A month later I found a clean cruze with more options that I was able to buy with cash ($4300) in Roseville. So I thank TYME auto for being unwilling to sell a low option car at a reasonable price :-) Plus take the trade in that I sold too. The person that bought the trade in was happy too.
