Taking delivery of a vehicle requires transferring title and applying for license of the vehicle you're purchasing as well as your trade-in. The state requires several bits of vehicle and personal information to successfully accomplish the transfers. Providing complete, correct information will avoid delays in receiving your new title and license plates as well as saving time at the dealership.

Bought a car from here about 2 months ago now. Tom would not give me the carfax for the car until I bought it. After buying the car I was burning about a quart of oil every 200 miles right from the beginning. I called about it (2 days after I bought it) and he told me that I would have to contact audi about it. My car has to have the engine pulled with piston rings replaced.
Now about 2 months after I bought the audi, it died in the middle of the street and would not start back up. So I had to get it towed in to find out that my fuel pump, filter, relay, and control module are all bad. This car has cost me about as much in repairs as the car is worth. Do not buy a car from here. You'll just end up spending more money to go and get your car fixed.

I saw a 2007 Toyota on a website used by Wernet. I called them to get details. After a few minutes of conversation, I decided to give them a deposit to hold the vehicle until it was ready, approximately 2 weeks they said. Tom Wernet told me I could cancel the deal if I didn't want the vehicle. Well after doing more research, I found their price was way above anyone else's.
I contacted Tom to cancel the deal, and he refused to refund my money until the vehicle was sold to someone else! WHAT?! After a few minutes of discussion as to how STUPID this sounded to me, he said he would give me my money back. What a joke. To be safe, I contacted my bank to dispute the charge to my CC. I really can't believe this is how he does business.

DO NOT TRUST this dealership. Mr Wernet sued me without proper service for the amount of money he was contractually obligated to pay on the vehicle I traded into him. Within three days time he was somehow able to sell that vehicle to another party without a clean title (my name was still on the title since they never paid off the lien). After a lengthy court battle in Dakota County (should be public record, if you're considering buying a vehicle from him I highly suggest you look it up) I was able to get the default judgment against me dismissed with prejudice and he was then forced to finally pay off the lien after four years of ruining my credit.
Not to mention costing me thousands in the housing market due to having to clear this issue up before I could close on a home. He never bothered to reply to the Attorney Generals office after three attempts to contact him prior to going to court. Buying a vehicle from him was a complete nightmare. Mr Wernet and his finance guy, Jack, are untrustworthy. No matter what the deal is, or how much money you could save, DO NOT BUY FROM WERNET ENTERPRISES.

A year ago I needed to trade my 2013 Volvo S60 R-Design for a good clean used SUV. Trading down can be a great loss but Tom treated me very fairly. I thought the 2004 Toyota 4Runner at Wernet was the right one.but after signing a deal decided that a 2007 Honda Pilot he also had (but was at the pre-inspection shop) was a better deal for me. Tom did not hesitate to amend the deal.
The Honda was immaculately detailed for me. When the Pilot suffered a seal failure within weeks of purchase Tom stepped right up and made things right for me. The only caveat is that things take time with a small one man show like Tom's. I had the patience and he had the right stuff. Oh.and his Better Business rating is A+.

I just recently purchased an 06 Honda Pilot from wernet and could not be more impressed with the level of service I received from a used car dealership. I had been looking at purchasing a pilot for months but every time I went to other dealerships they all were the classic in your face used car salesman and the cars were junk. When I went to wernet I was treated with respect and he knew everything about the car and all work that had been done to the vehicle Mr wernet knows his stuff and does not sell junk.
When buying a used car you have to remember at the end of the day it is still a used car and you may have issues but again it's used you just never know that's why they don't cost $40,000. If you want a quality car from a quality dealership this is the place. I will definitely be buying from wernet again and will recommend them to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle. yes he does drive the car first but it really gives you a chance to listen to the car and hear any underlying issues without having to keep your eyes on the road.

I just bought my Audi from Wernet the spring of 2013. Basically, they had the best price, lowest mileage car, which they got from Florida (plus = No Rust). I actually had an issue with the AC that I noticed after I drove it off the lot when we had a warm day that weekend and I noticed it wasn't getting cold at all. I contacted them 3 days later, they told me to bring it in and they would "work" with me on getting it fixed.
It took sometime for them to diagnosis the issue, but they got it fixed and they PAID the cost associated to fixing it. I felt that was very, but more importantly I felt they were absorbing that cost because they STAND BEHIND the product they are selling. Not only did they fix the car, but when I went back to pick it up Nick Wernet spent 45 minutes just educating me on how to best car for the car interior, exterior and maintenance wise. That goes above and beyond in my book. So in short I WOULD recommend working with these guys.
