My car wouldn't start yesterday after work and I had my car towed to a mechanic by Safe Way Auto Center. I was taken care of by very professional and friendly employees. I was called before the truck arrived to make sure I had a ride and to reassure me the truck was coming and the tow truck driver was very friendly and helpful. Moved back to ri with two vehicles, paid a whole weeks pay to register, had to let the inspection slide for a bit. Get the letter in the mail that my reg would be suspended if I did not inspect. Cars needed a lot coming from a state with no inspection laws. One had needed a windshield, a turn signal, and a tire and mine only had a little bitty airbag light and needed a bulb, no big deal.
These fine people went out of there way and dealt with the state on our behalf to stave off the suspension, fixed every issue in the first car and had it inspected in 3 days. My lil ol airbag light turned out to be wiring ghosts and needed an exorcism, a ground wire, seatbelts and some blinker fluid. They didn't even charge me for the Exorcist. That's how you get a customer for life.

A few weeks ago my mother car ended up with a dent in one of the doors. I had went to a few other places first, they quoted me very high prices. One guy wanted me to go a find a door that matched from the junk yard and bring it to him to put it on for me.(REALLY)? So I came to Safe Way and spoke to Joe. Very nice guy. He looked at the damage and he went and found the door for us, had it brought to his shop, and made sure the color matched.
He even got my approval before he did the work. I looked at it and said it looks like the same door. They cleaned it up and replaced the door interior and everything. Very good work. Very nice folks. Overall, my mother and I were very happy.
