Go straight to Daniel Angel to buy or lease your BMW. On my first visit to see the car I was interested in, he was pleasant, intelligent, very knowledgeable, and helpful, all with no hype. When I finished having my trade-in serviced, I made an appointment with Daniel and easily completed the transaction on a Sunday afternoon with all questions answered and his full attention.
There was a minor issue to have completed as I was buying the car and Daniel took care of everything without hesitation. For me, Daniel is the face of South Bay BMW and made the experience a pleasure. I will highly recommend him to friends and colleagues. The buying process of my BMW 330i took only a few hours. Yes! You read that correctly a few hours. The best part - Alex was very transparent with me the entire time which only made the buying experience even more enjoyable. Ask for Daniel he's the best! He was so personable and made us feel very comfortable while at the dealership. This was a big decision for us and he couldn't of been more knowledgeable, helpful and patient. Never did we feel rushed or forced into our decision. He was able to work out a great deal for us and we are very happy with our purchase.

Sales rep agent, Alex Chavez, was really quick with response and with all our questions. He immediately asked us if we needed any help without making it feel awkward. He explained the highlight features of the car very well and had everything going very quickly with the finance dept to the car detailing dept. We appreciate the quickness of it all. George from finance was also very good with explaining the details of the finance plan. The location is huge and spacious area to sit and wait for family while getting all the paper work done.

Daniel Angel is such an angel! I wanted to get out of my Lexus and into a new car for my birthday and Daniel took his time to help me find the perfect car. He really is considerate and amazing at finding something that works for me. We went through 2 days of process since I came in last minute before they were closing. Absolutely would not recommend. Buy your parts ON FCPEURO.com if these people propose a ton of repairs. They give you free lifetime warranty. Literally meaning free replacements on car parts even when used after wear and tear. UPDATE: Make sure to ask about ANY defects or current issues with suspension, brakes, ENGINE, etc. Also ask if the paint has had any paint work and ask them to put this all in writing.
They won't address it if you don't. I consider that a disgusting and dishonest practice. I continue to find problems with my car and I am certain that this place knew exactly what they were selling when I got the car. They put on a nice face but might try to get important details overlooked in the moment and are more than satisfied with ignoring significant issues if you happen to not notice them before you buy.
Just bumping this review in case it gets buried by a bunch of short disingenuous reviews or reviews based on only the purchase, not afterwards. If you run into a ton of issues in your car and the dealership acts like they have the last word or they start throwing around "warranty" limitations terminology, etc, IMMEDIATELY contact a lemon law attorney to more fully understand your consumer rights to avoid getting taken advantage of, by any business, really. I am never taking my business here again and would NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Both Arsen in the Service department and the sales team have made my experience at south bay the best experience I've had with any car dealership. After getting scammed by the Downey Hyundai and receiving expensive service at sterling BMW, I made a great purchased on an excellently priced used car here which has been running amazing for the past 10K miles, and the sales team was willing to accomodate flexible financing options for my situation after totalling a previous vehicle. Arsen in service was very knowledgable and kind enough to offer discounts on maintenance services.
He also saved me a few bucks with tire advice. I recommend this dealership to anyone who loves Beamers and I myself will go out of my way to continue to do business with South Bay.

Purchased a BMW X5 M50i from Brandon. We communicated with several dealerships in Southern California who had a similar make/model/build we were interested in. Service was highly professional. This was not a dealership we have worked with before but would not hesitate to work with them again. Brandon was easy to work with--no typical sales tactics which was refreshing. We forgot the second key for our lease car to be turned in and he offered to come in on his off day to pick it up for us. High regard for this dealership.

5 Star review for Mr Chavez. I walked into the dealership and met Alex Chavez, salesman. He was courteous, cordial and respectful of my time. Although this visit did not result in a sale I will be back based on his treatment. Was interested in 2 vehicles. Was only allowed to test drive 1 because the other was "too powerful" and for "serious buyers". So I was allowed to drive the i4 M50 which is also an extremely powerful car but not the gas alternative. I am a serious buyer and I told the dealership it's one or the other and I need to get a feel for both. Would you buy a car without getting to test out out?
Because I wasn't able to test drive the 2nd vehicle I went with the one I was able to test drive. I ordered the exact same vehicle I drove but through a different dealership since this dealer obviously didn't want my business.

First ever attempt at purchasing a vehicle from this dealership, after agreeing to a purchase price the sales person refused to send me a final price invoice/ purchase agreement with a breakdown. Only to send me other documents such a finance sheets for their own program. My credit union refused to finalize the loan without the documents I requested from them multiple times and I was informed a few days later they have sold the car.
If the intent was to never sell me the car it would have been better to just say that from the start rather than waste the time of everyone involved. Do not recommend this dealership, their are better options in California

My rating is for the service department, specifically the technician working on my car. My actual service advisor is the best. He restored my trust in South Bay BMW prior to this situation. My car recently went in for a warranty repair and during the visit, my car notified me of a incident. Although someone unplugged my dash cameras, they still record if someone hits the car, triggers the alarm etc.
Once I was able to download the video, I watched the technician open my hood and allowed it to hit the car above where it rested until he was done filling the washer fluid. I was furious. I checked my car for damage and noticed dirt/oil from the tires. No they didn't wash the car upon returning it to me. I take very good care of my vehicles. When it's in someone else's hands, I would hope they would respect my property as I respect their loaner cars when I'm allowed one.
I posted screen shots of the video as I'm unable to upload it. I'm extremely upset with this recent event and hope SBBMW train their employees to better care for others property. Had the tables been turned, I would be on the hook for damage to a loaner. My camera recorded 5 incidents of either hard braking or something bumping into the car. I'm extremely unhappy.

South Bay BMW is such a prejudiced dealership. A couple of months ago, I went in looking to purchase a BMW, they assumed I was interested in Mini Cooper. The salesman was very nonchalant and didn't offer to open the cars I was interested in. Needless to say, I left and took my business elsewhere. Yesterday, I went in to get routine maintenance for my BMW because they're closest to me.
Service advisor Carlos asked if this was my first time at a dealership and if I was new to getting a routine service done. Why would he assume that? Secondly, I was interested in a loaner vehicle. Apparently they needed a credit card on file along with the drivers license and insurance. As I'm not new to this, I understand a drivers license and insurance need to be given in order to receive a loaner vehicle.
I have never heard of a credit card needing to be on file. Hence, the purpose of showcasing proof of insurance. Furthermore, I carry most of my cards on my Apple Wallet and because I didn't have a physical copy, I was denied. Lastly, I picked my car up after being serviced and was met with little to no help. The 2 valets did not greet me, they barely acknowledged me as I walked towards them.
I informed them why I was here, the lady told me to go inside to the cashiers office with no directions. Luckily someone inside showed me where the cashier was. I came back outside to give them my receipt so they can bring my car. As I waited, there was another lady (white woman) that walked up who was acknowledged and greeted by the male valet. I asked him if there's a policy on not acknowledging and greeting people that look like me - a Black Woman. His response? Laughter. Good to know this dealership practices racism and finds it comedic. Take your business elsewhere, especially if you're a Black Woman.

They were able to respond at a moment's notice to trade in my lease and get me in a bigger car for my growing family (my wife and I are expecting our second child shortly).
