My daughter and I had an excellent experience at Chevy Chase Acura. She had a specific Acura ILX Premium model that she was hoping to find. When one became available, Roy did everything possible to make the process as smooth as possible. It was evident that he worked to ensure that the car was mechanically sound and thoroughly cleaned and detailed before we picked it up.
He honored all commitments. We felt that he went above and beyond to make our used car buying process a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend the dealership and specifically Roy for your next used car purchase. We will definitely be back when in the market again.

Had a great experience at Acura today. I drove 2 hours to Virginia to look at a car and it was garbage. I was so desperate to find a car, I stumbled upon this Honda at the Acura dealership. As soon as I got there, Carlos was the first to help. He made the process very easy and did everything to help. I really appreciate him. I would recommend CARLOS for anyone looking for s car. Roy at Chevy Chase Acura truly made my experience great. Was a fairly decent experience. Was thankful I wasn't harassed while waiting to get put in a new car. Anyways, I went there for routine A1 service. I was asked about additional service (wheel balancing) and specify said I was not interested. When I ask given the bill it included the wheel balancing. I refused to pay for the service that I specifically refused and they thankfully honored that. Jeff the Tech I was working with, was excellent for getting that whole thing fixed up. However, I couldn't help but feel like a less assertive person would have just accepted the service department's attempt to overlook my request and cost themselves money. (Like I feel about most dealerships) This made me feel like I couldn't trust them too much.
It felt like yet another attempt to get extra money anywhere they could. I guess I would go back again because I'll likely need maintenance done and there aren't that many other Acura dealerships in my area of MD part of the DMV.

Roy and Michael were great! They worked as a team to help me find a car that worked within my budget and the car I ended up with had EVERYTHING I wanted for my family - great features, low mileage, and of course the right price! They were so nice and funny but definitely handled business and got me a great deal. When it's time to get another vehicle I will absolutely be returning to Chevy Chase Acura - this time I'll forgo the family car for a cute little something for me ONLY :-

I appreciate taking my truck to be serviced at Chevy Chase Acura. The staff is courteous and they provide excellent service. They changed my oil, checked all of my fluids, checked my tires and ran various other tests to make sure that my truck was running efficiently. While waiting, I got to enjoy coffee, sodas and other beverages. Great crew, great job. Thanks!

My first ever car purchase experience was at this Chevy Chase Acura of Bethesda. It was not an 80 thousands dollar car I purchased. Rather less than 20k but I was treated as if I was buying the most expensive car on the floor. I can't say enough about the customer service at this dealership. I highly recommend this car dealership to anyone wanting a great price with top quality customer service. Go there and as for Carlos in the use car department.

I purchased a 2015 Acura TLX from the Used Car division of Chevy Chase Acura. I'm just going to say this. STAY AWAY from these guys. Mike Dodson was my salesman and when I tell you I was deceived from the time of purchase. I won't talk about how the sales manager pretty much had me wait a week before informing me that it was an issue with my financing after I had already put over 2k down on a pre owned vehicle.
I was given the run around by the dealership until I called the financing company to sort the situation out myself. Secondly, I had the car no less than a month when my brakes had to be changed then I had to bring it back two weeks later for a servicing that cost me almost $200 out of pocket. Mind you I purchased the recommended warranty on the vehicle so that if anything went wrong with the vehicle within 40k miles I would be covered.
That was BS. not to mention Mike Dodson stated that an inspection was done on my vehicle before they could sell it to me and assured that everything had been inspected and checked out to the best of their standard. That also was a lie. When I brought these issues up to the salesman I was blown off and pretty much told that I brought a pre owned vehicle so what else did I expect. Honestly I understand that it's a risk to buy anything used but when you are guaranteed that things have been checked out and not even a month into the car you are having break issues and maintenance issues. it's just down right wrong and deceiving.
Last but not least just last month which would be the third month I've had the vehicle I was involved in an accident and when I went to change my spare tire there wasn't even one in the trunk ( which was not mentioned at the time of purchase). Good: clean showroom and my salesman was easy to work with. Bad: SERVICE. SERVICE. SERVICE, where do I begin. I bought the 2021 TLX Aspec, and like all new models that come out, some will have minor problems that could easily be resolved through service. However, you expect your car to be returned to you with the problem corrected. This is NOT the case at this location, they will go above and beyond to prove they care less about customer service and even less about your vehicle. Honestly it's quite fascinating to see how they never cease to amaze me with how many times they fail at meeting the very basic terms of our agreement.
The terms are actually simple, receive vehicle, fix problem without creating other problems, then return vehicle back to the owner; done. It wouldn't be right to blame ACURA as a whole for some of it's subpar employees. Though I will propose that a quality control team may not be a bad idea to initiate. This will ensure the quality of service meets the standards that need to be achieved in order to preserve it's prestige, improve customer retention rate and weed out any undesirables. Food for thought.

My wife and I recently bought a 2022 MDX ASpec from Chevy Chase. Our sales consultant, David Petty, provided us with sensational customer service. Before deciding and during our initial discussion, he mentioned that he would ensure that he was providing us with the BEST offer. Of course, I had to look around at different dealerships in Northern VA and found they were not really concerned with trying to gain my business so they easily brushed me off.
He worked with us and made our process the EASIEST we have ever had and was dedicated to making sure that he gained not just our business, but our trust. I don't often write reviews as they are purely subjective, but my experience with David and the rest of the team at Chevy Chase is something I wont forget.

After over 8 months of shopping around I finally decided to buy a new car. I always knew I wanted the new TLX. I stop 3 times at Chevy Chase Acura and on the 3rd time I left in a brand new 2021 TLX. Thanks to Ralph the sales manager for making the process smooth, seem less and Efficient. Chevy Chase Acura got a new customer for life.

Brought my car into the dealership a couple months ago to get something removed from the car due to a leakage problem. We never received the parts and we were told we would get a call in order to come pick them up. We never received the call back nor the parts. So we thought we'd come to the shop in order to get the parts, but they're now telling they can no longer provide us the parts nor do they "make them anymore." No respect nor reliability. Save your time and make the trip to the Laurel's dealership location.

The reason I gave them 2 stars because i got an acura tlx 2019 from them by David sale person he was super nice. I wouldn't mind to deal with him again because he worked with me tirelessly with me to make sure i get a good deal. Long story short, i tried to get an Acura MDX 2020 from them so i took an audi in tried to see if i could get a good deal for trade in but they tried to low ball me. they gave me 16k for my audi a3 but with carvana they gave me ~22k.

This was my first time here at Chevy Chase Acura. I already had a prequalified loan from Capital one and that is what led me here. I don't live anywhere near this location but I decided to take this ride down 95 and get stuck in traffic ( That's another story) So there were no major issues. Everybody was nice. I already knew what I wanted and had a deal before I got here so that made things better.
The wait time was so long. I am not sure because of Covid but I hate waiting! we waited in the waiting room at least an hour just looking around. I will say the waiting room was super clean. You could probably eat off the floor. You could smell the bleach and I actively saw at least three people cleaning, sweeping and mopping while I waited in the waiting room.
I had a rental car from Hertz and they were nice enough to come and pick me up. It took a minute for my car to finally be ready. I am not 100% sure what they were doing. Funny but my car also drove much better when a took a test drive. By the time I signed those papers and it was mine it felt like it drove a little different. So the NUMBER ONE THING that I had a major problem with. THEY DID NOT FILL my tank up. I have NEVER brought a NEW car and my gas tank wasn't filled completely. It was only 75%! I am a little disappointed.

Can't get my plates for 9 months. I leased 2020 TLX Advance from Fred at Chevy Chase Acura, Bethesda, MD back in March. I got a quote over the phone, did not negotiate it, just drove to pick it up. I asked to prepare all the paperwork before arrival but spend many hours in the dealership anyway. When my temporary registration expired, Fred told me that due to Covid, my permanent registration can be delayed and it is legal to drive with expired registration.
The last reply email I receive from Fred was on June 9 after which he just stops responding. When I email his manager on Dec. 7th, someone else called me to explain that they are extremely busy, and the best way for me is to text Fred as he does not read his email and only replies to texts. I got another 2020 Acura MDX Advance from a different dealership in August and receive permanent registration/plates within a month. The Verdict - great car (I had more than 10 Acura's), ok initial sale, a very bad experience with dealership customer service.

Sleazey, dishonest, and disrespectful. Let me count the instances: - Insinuated there is a military discount to get me in the door; no discount applied - Charged me more than quoted; took 3 weeks to remedy - Charged me taxes and registration for the wrong state, pocketed the difference; have yet to remedy - Have not returned phone calls or emails It has been months since I spent $35,000 at this dealership and I have been confronted with my mistake every day since. Please learn from my experience and buy from anywhere else, especially if you are military.

This review is for service only as I purchased my Acura from another dealer in another state. My first experience with Chevy Chase Acura was not good as the car was not ready when stated and they green lighted a repair that I just asked a quote on. I was very unhappy. I thought about switching but I called and spoke with Chris Toronto. He explained that my service rep was new and that they had let him go. He said come back and that he will make it right. He gave me a huge discount on my next trip. I have been a loyal customer since that day.

I have been a fan of CC since I bought my rdx here over two years ago. it's very low mileage but I bring my car here for service anyWay (over an hour drive). I had an aPpointment forr an OIL CHANGE At 9am and supposedly a "special customer" with Acura care and paid maintenance plan. I admit I was a few minutes late but it's about to strike 11am and still no car.
Have asked twice (after being told at 945 my car was done but tHat was apparently the wrong car?) if there's a delay and just being told waiting on paperwork. Sorta comical since r im staring at a sign that says service for minor things guaranteed under an hour. hmmm. Makes me sad to post this, but I'm now 1-2 hours late to work, so the $ I saved from the oil change is more than lost.

I was in the market for a new car and decided to consider Acuras. I was not trying to spend over a certain amount and Acura offered some of the amenities I was looking for plus a luxury look. I started with one salesman but was passed off to another. Both were equally attentive. I decided to do a lease the price worked well for me and I was also able to add in the amenities that I wanted.
Something I like about this location is that they also include free car washes, snacks and water in the waiting room, I think wifi. I added a photo. I haven't had any issues with the car except the navigation isn't great. It could use an update maybe but I haven't taken the time to figure out how to do the update. Based on my initial interactions I would buy from this dealer again.

I had a very positive experience with the service team when I brought in my well-maintained 02 Acura RSX whose SRS light had come on when I had already replaced the SRS unit in 2016. I knew from my mechanic--and a less-trustworthy Acura dealer--that the issue was the belt buckle fault that is covered under warranty for life. Not only did they not mess around with me, they provided a handy car status report that I was able to show my prospective private-party buyers. Professional.

I have never purchased a car in my life and Chevy Chase Acura made the process so easy. I was looking for a used car since my car was falling apart and driving it anywhere became a gamble if it would breakdown -_- I found a vehicle I was interested in off of Carguru and reached out for a breakdown of the out of door pricing. Tu reached out to me initially, we went back and forth through email on the potential purchase on a new vehicle since there was an amazing Black Friday deal for Thanksgiving weekend.
My husband and I made an appointment and went in the day before Thanksgiving. Tu was very friendly and easy to talk to, I appreciated how straightforward and transparent he was with the entire process. I never felt like he was trying to scam us or push us into the sale. After crunching some numbers with Tu, we decided to take the car we were interested in for a test drive with Richard.
I was tense driving since the car was alot larger than what I was accustomed to, but Richard was patient with my grandma driving skills and let me take my time feeling comfortable in the car. He was able to answer a barrage of questions from my husband and me about the features of the car. Once we returned to the dealership, Fred assisted us with the initial paperwork and set us up with Mass to discuss financing options.
While we met with Mass, Fred handled prepping the car for us, detailing and a quick car wash. Mass was great to work with, he ran our credit scores and gave us our options. He was clear describing what we should anticipate with payments as well as additional packages and how it would impact those payments. Again, similar to Tu, he was very transparent, no games or scamming, just straightforward responses to see which option would fit us best.
Once we finished up with Mass, Fred grabbed us to go over our car settings. He was super helpful in explaining all the features of the car before we left. He wanted to make sure we had all our questions answered despite how late it was and close to their closing time, he never made us feel rushed. Fred even reached out to me after the sale to check in on me to see how things were going and if he could provide any assistance.
