The NC inspection was done very quickly. An additional service for the brakes was recommended, and they were able to complete it while I waited. It didn't take a long time. My only complaint is that I always have a hard time scheduling an appointment online. The site doesn't work well: after entering all the information requested and clicking "submit", the form clears and sends me to the beginning. After trying twice with the same result, I resorted to go to the shop in person and made the appointment there.

Absolutely love this location. I always utilize their pickup and drop off service so I can take care of things at home without worrying about my car. They make it so easy. This is the first time I've had my cars serviced at Chapel Hill Tire and have nothing but great things to say about my experience. Ben was wonderful to work with, took the time to explain all details of the service, what they recommended and why. Work was done in a timely manner for a very competitive price based on what was quoted from a local dealer. I will be back again to have my cars serviced, in the future.

Great service, great prices, great job overall. I've used them several times & they've always been helpful, explained services & options thoroughly, and even offered a shuttle service back and forth. I don't know anything about cars, but they've always been fair & offered a very competitive price for a quick and thorough excellent job. I really love Chapel Hill Tire & their services and will continue using them in the future!

Went today for the first time and had a great experience. This is a drop off only location so keep that in mind. But they do have a shuttle to take you where you need to go and pick you back up as well. For instance they dropped and picked me up from the mall. The entire team was really nice and made the process easy. I also liked that they took photos of my cars issues and sent them to me and then made suggestions on the best path forward. For the service you get I feel like the you get more than your monies worth. For my car the entire process took about 4 hours.

I had general maintenance done on my Subaru Forester. I made an appointment in advance. All of the work was done promptly to my satisfaction. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable. Chapel Hill Tire is great! My family has gone to them for years now and this was my first time taking my car to them. Tiffany was fantastic and accommodated me and my work schedule! I brought my car in after work and she completed my safety inspection pretty quickly. I didn't use the free shuttle service, but think it is a great and convenient service.

They sent me links to the details of the inspection and provided a physical and emailed copy of the invoice. They also kept me updated on the process via text messages. Super grateful for their assistance, would come back again, and would recommend to others!

Staff were friendly and all but $94 for a diagnostics is mad, and they wanted $1000 to fix my car when all it needed was a new ignition coil. Did it myself, took 5 mins, cost $130.nbd In response: OK Boomers, get a grip and stop cheating people out of money. lol

Required annual inspection. Great service, but the most impressive part was witnessing a customer rep guiding a customer through a difficult problem over the telephone. He didn't have to go into the detail that he did, and he did it in a way that meant Chapel Hill Tire wouldn't be doing the person's work. Impressive.

Loved that I was able to schedule my car to be picked up and delivered to Chapel Hill Tire who performed a general inspection and oil change, sent me the report electronically, called to let me know my car was done. I paid over the phone and my car was delivered back to me. The car delivery company texted pictures and detail of the drivers so I knew who I was to expect during pick up and return of my car. Highly recommend!

I cannot praise highly enough the pick-up / drop-off service that Chapel Hill Tire offers. As little as dropping off and picking up my own car would be, as the parent of an infant, that task is extraordinarily difficult. I'm so grateful I don't have to get her coat on, get her in her car seat, and so on. What a time saver and a lifesaver! The folks at Chapel Hill Tire offer clear communication and pricing, and they are always prompt and professional!

The service here is top notch. I am always spoken to in a warm, professional manner. They are up front about the prices and aren't aggressive about additional services. They share their suggestions and move on if you decline further service. I especially like the online appointment system, the concierge service---or pick up/drop off option, and the text updates.

You are kept in the loop every step of the way and the report they provide is very helpful. I like that everything is submitted to you electronically, including your bill. This saves trees and reduces waste. Ben was my service contact, and he was great. Also, Bob couldn't be a nicer guy. He dropped me off when I left the car and picked me up when it was ready.

We had friendly conversation and I felt very safe with him. Everyone treated me with dignity and respect. Too often, as a woman in these instances, you are treated with impatience and spoken to dismissively. Not here. They answered every question I had and never acted like I was being a bother. So refreshing! I value efficiency and transparency. Chapel Hill Tire has both in spades, and I recommend them highly.

It was time for a new set of tires, so I reached out to this Chapel Hill TIre location due to its being within walking distance of home. Searching for the right set of tires and then making an appointment online via their website was very easy. In addition to the new tires, I also requested a state inspection and headlight restoration. I dealt with Jamie, who was professional and knowledgeable.

The work done was great, too -- my fourteen year-old Acura loves its new set of Michelins and the headlights on the car now look like new. Highly recommended -- based on my experience with this Chapel Hill Tire location I would not hestitate to visit them again.

I discovered that my car was leaking oil while visiting friends in Durham. Chapel Hill got my car in, quickly found and fixed the problem, and they charged nothing for labor or oil. Jamie Wells, their service advisor was professional, pleasant, and very helpful. Great place, great people.

I was happy with my new tires from Chapel hill Tire. The price for a set was really competitive even with Club prices. All staff was very professional and explained other items I might want done in future. Only reason I did not give them 5 stars is the time it took to get tires done. Tires and aliment was little over 3 hours even with a 8am appointment.

This might not be a issue for folks that use their free shuttle to work but I live out of town so had no place to go so had to wait there. TBH if I went to a club warehouse no idea how long I would have waited. thumbs up on price match and free shuttle for those that need to go local.

Rude and passive aggressive over the phone at the Fordham chapel hill location. Won't be taking my vehicles there for servicing. University place location is always very friendly and accommodating.

I've been going to these guys since they were Auto Pro-To-Call and I have to say I think they do amazing work. I'll share a story about them vs. the fucking Crown Honda Dealership service dept: I have a CRV that was having a sunroof leak problem. I took it to Crown, they charged me a diagnostic fee, and said, "sorry, we can't find anything!" I called Kurt here at Chapel Hill Tire and I told him I was having the problem and before I could get it out he says - over the phone! - "does the problem happen more when you're parked uphill or downhill?" Yes! Turns out there's some kind of draining tube on the sunroof that gets clogged easily.

It was a simple fix. Crown fucking Honda didn't even know that. Additionally I've spent literally thousands over the years fixing the 5 cars we've owned since living in NC, and even though my wife curses them every time we have to pay them, they do great, honest work. Kurt is my favorite service rep, but Jamie and Bobby are great too.

Recently used this location for installation of TPMS sensors for some new aftermarket rims for my Tesla Model 3. There was a small snafu in the pricing provided on the original call, but it was quickly worked out. I opted to bring the rims (with tires) in off of the vehicle and the team was helpful in getting them unloaded and completed the work on schedule.

I did a lot of shopping around and voiced my concerns around any cosmetic damage to the new rims, they took these concerns seriously and it shows, on pickup the rims were still in pristine condition, not a scratch or nick on them! Overall the pricing was a little high, but they were up-front with the pricing on the second call and did great work, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

I came in to this location for the first time to have an inspection done on my car before I could renew my tags. The staff here was so friendly and professional, really enjoyed my visit. The waiting area was very clean as well and they had a mini fridge with complimentary beverages too. Will definitely be coming back for any future needs, thanks again!

I walked in yesterday and scheduled oil change and tire rotation. But, Chapel Hill Tire refused to do the rotation today. They strongly recommended me to replace the 4 tires. It sounds I can not drive my car any more without the replacement. The price on quotation is $494.55 but I have to pay $549.54 for the 4 new tires. However, I was told it is really/completely not necessary when I know my tires only ran no more than 20000mi in total.

At least, it is no need to replace ALL 4 tires. (1 or 2 is reasonable). More importantly, they should keep a best tire from them in my Trunk before disposal. I read the reviews here, I found it is their "dirty-tricks" for "inexperienced" customers to make blood money. And I am doubting the quality of oil change service. Is there any proof to check the quality?

We are very grateful for Chapel Hill Tire, on Fordham Blvd, and their prompt attention to our urgent tire situation last week. Our school, Haw River Christian Academy (Pittsboro), had a van full of eighth graders bound for a week long trip to Washington, D.C. We were back on the road within a short time because of this business' customer service, more so kindness and care. Thank you!

Had a leaky tire on my rental car. I went there 4 days ago to get it checked. Due to a open house, there were very busy. A very nice young lady filled the tire with air and checked for any nails. She could not see anything wrong so I left. I returned due to a very slow leak. They repaired it very quickly. The staff were very friendly and courteous to me. If I lived in this area (I live in California), they would absolutely be my go to tire store.

The only negative thing I can say is that I don't live close enough to use Chapel Hill Tire for all our cars' needs. I had had a stressful 2 1/2 weeks living in/out of the Hospital with my very sick mother in Virginia. I finally left to go back to Goldsboro NC to get some things and noticed a drop in tire pressure as soon as I got on I40.

After a tear filled called to my husband I got off at the first exit. Not sure why I turned right. Divine Intervention? I spotted CH Tire and drove in. The nicest guy EVER recognized my tears as stress and not crazy. He quickly took charge - giving me a clean place to sit and calm down. He got my tire repaired and I was back on the road in a short time. Clean, comfortable, free WiFi, water and concern for a single woman traveling alone with a tire emergency. I hope everyone is as lucky as I am to find help when needed. Oh - and no one charged me a dime! I would have paid any amount. I highly recommend Chapel Hill Tire

Good service and friendly staff. I really like how they did a full inspection of my car with my oil change and gave me an online report with their findings so I know they didn't BS it. I'll trust them to take care of my car in the future.

I was THAT guy, rolling in on a donut tire 20 minutes before closing time on a Friday. They could have easily told me it would have to wait until Monday, but the folks at Chapel Hill Tire were true professionals. They patched my tire and had me safely on my way. They only charged me a fraction of what I was quoted elsewhere, but I would have gladly paid double for such sincere customer service and quality work.

Auto Pro to Call (previously Chapel Hill Tire) has done such a great job with helping us out. We have had a few issues this year with two separate cars and they've always been very honest and open with us on the issues that they need to fix vs. what could be optional and why. One time we had to tow our car just across the street to them and they paid for it for us. They've also done a great job fixing all issues quickly. Overall, a company you can trust with your car!

I have been taking my cars to Auto Pro to Call on and off for several years because of positive reviews I found online. I was very disappointed with my last experience there. I knew their prices were a bit high, but they often send coupons and the seem to do good work. Last time I went in because my check engine light was on. They told it was no big deal.

It was the gas cap and the radiator needed to be flushed. They told me I also needed two new tires before my car could pass state inspection and quoted me $337 for the two. I called around and was quoted $260 for the best quality tires at another shop with alignment. I told Auto Pro To Call that I would get my tires elsewhere and would like to pay for what they had done so far.

I stupidly did not ask for the total when I paid over the phone. I arrived after hours to see that they had done and oil change that I had not asked for, and the total bill was $500 dollars. I did not actually approve any of the specific services they performed (except for diagnosing the check engine light.) I feel like this business preys on people who do not know a lot about cars.

Every time I go in there is some emergency situation that has to be fixed immediately in addition to whatever I brought it in for. Bottom Line: If you have a ton of money this is a good place to go. If not it is better to shop around and get second opinions about their recommended services.

Have been using APTC for a couple of years and been very happy with the service and friendly team. They do a great job when explaining what's wrong, why it needs to be fixed/replaced or if you can wait. The waiting area is clean, has wifi, desk areas, comfortable chairs; shuttle service also available for drop off and/or pick up. I needed a big repair prior to annual inspection and they were able to work me in quickly and at a very competitive price. Am always glad to give them as a referral to others.

Just take the time to 'shop around and get estimates and prices, that's all. Compared to other local independent auto repair shops, their prices seem to be on the high side. They're NOT a bad place at all. The cost of doing business in Chapel Hill is HIGH for them. Taxes and regulatory and environmental costs are the highest in the Triangle. What's MOST IMPORTANT is establishing a RELATIONSHIP with a service advisor and a shop THAT YOU CAN TRUST.

The only place I trust for car repair. They do oil changes and by-mileage maintenance, electrical fixes, engine repair, and everything in between. I've been using these guys for over a year and am continually pleased with their level of honesty, professionalism, and timeliness. Brian and Chris (CS guys) are very friendly, can talk cars, and always remember me on my return visits (probably mostly because I'm not shy in helping myself to the candy dishes they set out!). It's wise to call for an appointment, though they usually accept walk-ins.

The waiting room is pretty comfy with a TV, assortment of reading material, water cooler, and little cubicles set up if you want to bring your laptop in and get some work done while you wait. They also offer a transport service to take you to & fro, should you need to drop your car off. Sign up for the mailing list - they send coupons and reminders about overdue maintenance. May have even gotten a Christmas card last year.
