Best VW service department around. Always willing to try to fix whatever you need and save you money in the process! I had a sunroof leak issue and brought my car to the service department in Poughkeepsie. My atlas was less than 3 months old and Poughkeepsie VW told me anything over an hour for diagnostics wouldn't be covered under my warranty. I brought it over to Danbury and they had my car for 3 days, gave me a loaner and looked into how they could solve the issue. It also didn't cost me a dime. Super nice employees and a very nice kid friendly waiting area. I won't go anywhere else!

I took my Tiguan last week for an oil change and I was told the water pump had to be replaced. After calling my insurance company I brought it back to the dealership and Alex took care of everything (assessment, calling the insurance company, repairing, etc.) He was very helpful, professional and my car was fixed very quick. I'm very pleased with their service and I have to point out they have a nice lady in the customer service area.

I had an amazing car buying experience here. Erik assisted me in buying a brand new vehicle, while I was on a test drive he evaluated my trade in. He worked quickly, and was very clear when explaining processes. Erik even rushed the process for me where I was able to fill out all paperwork in only 30 minutes. I am so happy I decided to buy from Volkswagen of Danbury!

On 10/21/21, I came to Danbury VW to get a replacement fob for my 2007 VW EOS. I met with Josh who indicated he would order one for me, but due to the specifics of my car, I would need to repay $192.73, which I did. Josh stamped the order "paid", and I waited for a call when the fob arrived. The call never came, so I called them in mid November, and lo and behold the fob arrived(how long it sat there with no call back I don't know) I requested an appointment and since I live in Pawling NY, I would need to wait for my car. Chelsea Langer, service advisor, made an appt for me for 12/6/21, which was weeks away, and I could not lock my car in the interim, which I indicated was a concern.
She was not accommodating at all. Therefore, when I arrived on 12/6, I I met with a rather unpleasant Chelsea Langer, who made me pay another $99. I asked why when I had prepaid and her answer was "you have to", for a duplicate key. After my appointment and a working fob, I called Will Regan, manager, whose name on my receipt Indicates to contact him with concerns.
I called him and asked why "paid" means nothing, and he passed the buck to Josh in parts with NO resolution. I'm in the market for a new VW, since my car has 117k miles. My takeaway is that I would NEVER buy a car from Danbury VW since their words mean nothing.

This isn't the closest dealership for me but two poor customer service experiences at Prestige Volkswagen in Stamford led me to try this location for service. Wow! Unbelievable courtesy and communication throughout. I felt valued and heard. The team went the extra mile to ensure that my car was cared for. I'll be back!

Very efficient purchase experience at Danbury VW. I first came to the dealer through an online search, and it was a seamless transition from agreeing to a deal online, to test-driving and buying in person. Professional interactions with several members of the sales team, and with the finance department, and we were on our way.

I have been a VW owner since 1998 and been going to Danbury VW since then. They have always been customer friendly. The service technicians leave my car clean after service and the few times I had problems they fixed them. It may cost alittle more at a dealership, but I will pay a little more for the excellent customer service that VW has. That's why I have been a repeat owner.

Be on the lookout for spam. I have never lived in Connecticut or purchased a vehicle from Danbury VW. However, that does not stop them from sending me spam / solicitation for their service department. Nevermind that I have asked numerous times to take me off their mailing list, but they persist in trying to entice me to drive from Texas to Danbury to change the oil in my Tesla (Tesla's don't have oil). Needless to say, I won't be driving to Connecticut or allowing them to touch my Tesla.

I purchased a 2018 Volkswagen Atlas in April of 2018 from Damaris Beard. Damaris was just great to deal with. The sales manager was also very good. When I went to purchase the SEL Premium model that I wanted it wasn't available anywhere. The sales manager told me if you don't see it here don't worry we can order exactly what you want.
He said it may take some time but we will get it. That to me was just great because I didn't have any issues with waiting. I went to the VW Dealership in Pleasantville in Westchester NY and the sales rep that I dealt with told me they only had one and that would be sold regardless if I bought it or not because not many were available at that time.
I brought my vehicle in for service and was really impressed with the service there as well. I saw Damaris and we spoke for quite some time. She asked me about the vehicle and spoke to my parents about upcoming vehicles to look out for. When I decide to get my next new Volkswagen I'm going back to DVW and looking for Damaris. Definitely a place to do business with.

Interested in leasing a car and received poor customer service. Will move forward with purchasing from another dealer. Not sure if it was because I was a woman in there on my own or what the issue was here but as I left, I felt like my business wasn't needed. They should take a lesson in how to treat customers from Ridgefield BMW. I have purchased from there before and they were fantastic.

Listen, I do not demonize dealers in general - and I know how tough it is to be a VW dealer right now. But. Had [what I thought to be] a burning brake smell from my 1 yr old/20K miles VW Alltrack, and the best Danbury VW (or others) could do was offer me an appointment 8 days later.so to be safe, I left the car parked for the whole time; wouldn't want to drive with a sticky caliper. Brought in the car yesterday, left it overnight. Had the oil change service at my cost too.
The dealer called and said: nothing wrong, nothing to fix, and by the way it was a burning CLUTCH smell. That's even more troubling because clutches are only supposed to smell when there's slippage.either about to wear out, or during hilly, stop & start driving -- which was not the case. (I've exclusively driven manual transmission cars for many years.) When I asked what VW would do IF the clutch burns out prematurely, the service advisor said: "that would be a wear item; not covered by warranty." PROBLEM 1: Danbury VW told me: We won't stand by you in case you have an extremely premature clutch burnout. ($1500+ repair.) PROBLEM 2: Service Advisor added a $59 "diagnosis charge" for not diagnosing any repairable work. PROBLEM 3: When I disagreed about being charged the $59 "non-diagnosis" charge, the Service Advisor snapped back with: "clutch is a wear item" and "you authorized it when you signed." PROBLEM 4: When I politely mentioned I did not think this was fair, and would not be coming back if they insisted on collecting the $59; she said she'd credit it, but "it would come out of the pocket of the service technician." And besides: ".you probably won't be coming back anyhow." Astounding! Kissing a customer goodbye for a lousy $59.
And (assuming she's telling the truth, and dealerships really work like this), sticking HER failure to communicate with the customer on the back of some poor mechanic behind the scenes. Unforgivable!

To the Owner, Suprised that I waited 2 weeks before taking and writing a review online and with VW corporate? Your senior manager called me and called me a liar, stating John has never done any such thing before and denied saying anything like that. My review is honest, and my employer should mean nothing. In fact, I was much more forgiving understanding what salesman go through. Posting my employer is beyond unprofessional, but at least we would never treat any customer with the level of disrespect that your dealership has.

Just picked up my new 2019 Jetta yesterday and could not be happier with the whole process! I worked with Erik specifically, but the entire team there was so helpful and friendly. This was my first time buying a brand new car (actually buying any car on my own) and they made it so simple. Not pushy at all and was happy to answer all my questions. Erik was also very quick to respond to questions via email and text even after hours. Before I drove off the lot he took the time to show me all the features and told me I could always contact him with any questions. I Such great customer service!

Bought my car from certified pre own earlier in the year, had to take it to right to service for service light and alignment, then a second time cause they didn't fix the alignment. then they crashed it, and I had to find out for myself. they repaired the bumper, light, and offered to cover an oil change. I had the car for 6 days.

I live about 20 minutes from here but decided to drive to Lash Volkswagen (50 minutes) because I though Westchester would be nicer. Well I was wrong. That place is a dumb and the employees are rude. But when I came here for service the atmosphere is so much nicer, the service reps are very nice and willing to help you, and the prices are cheaper! I've saved hundreds and hundreds of dollars here.
The price difference makes me sick. They're con artist at Lash. Even if you live in Westchester or farther away come here. This is one of the nicest Dealerships I've been to.

I scheduled an oil change appointment, and one of the the employees tried to manipulate me into spending an obscure amount of money on a irrelevant problem. And when I confronted him about how I didn't need that to be done, he brought back my car even more problematic than it was before I dropped my car off. I would NOT recommend this dealership for anyone. This place is a scam and just tries to take your money on unneeded work that doesn't need to be done.

Hands down the best service Department in CT as far as VW factory service. The shop foreman is one of the most knowledgeable VW techs around. My car was given the "its fine" at another dealer when I knew I had a turbo issue on my 2016. Danbury diagnosed it quickly and properly and replaced it all under warranty. The three women and gentleman at the service desk are all very helpful and professional too. I actually drive 40 miles past several other VW dealerships to go here. Worth the trip to have service done right.

Young (snippy) girl at service desk could not provide a list of what is included in a 10k check up, she did tell us several times, "it's in your manual". Hard to believe the service department can't have a list before you drop $270.00 and explain the charges. Also, you can view it on line when you make the appointment but she didn't even bother asking if we would like her to check. We'll have our work done elsewhere and save quite a lot of money and I am sure get someone more helpful and nicer. We won't back be back

A big THANK YOU to all the Yelp Reviewers who steered us (pun intended) to VW Danbury. The staff at VW Danbury helped us with problems we had with our GTI. Even though we didn't buy from them the staff researched and helped us to correct the problems which were all under warranty! No pushy up-selling just good, upfront customer service. Go to these guys for buying or servicing VW's. I wholeheartedly endorse them!

Honest, informative, did the job and more My CPO GTI powered down in highway stride, two weeks after purchase from a VW dealership in lower NY. I had realized that I had the original owner's service records and the same problem was reported over its lease. I was more than upset, very worried and felt that my woes were unaccommodated by the dealership of purchase. Danbury VW not only offered to help but showed true concern with my car troubles, more so then the original dealership.
In three appointments, the problem with my GTI was identified and fixed. The issue with the car losing power literally was an issue that was unresolved for three years. Meaning, Danbury VW had the facility and resources to take of my car. I highly recommend Pete Rubino and the Service Staff for maintenance and repairs.

Great service department all the guys there are super helpful, straightforward, and get the job done. I've only had minimal experience with the sales department, but the only time I called them (was interested in test driving a new model), I found the guy I talked to a bit rude and pushy. They said they would call me back, but never did. Anyways I'll still give them 4 stars because the service staff are awesome
