It's pretty easy to see why the reviews of Beaverton Toyota are so great. Worked with Mahdi on Wednesday to get into a new 4Runner, and the service and process are unparalleled. It was a no pressure situation, I was able to ask all the questions I needed, and felt like they were looking out for my best interests and not the profit. The dealership is modern and comfortable, and look forward to returning.

Very dishonest service department. Trying to charge me $170 for diagnostics to fix something covered under the warranty. I have the car for only 30 days and they refused to fix the problem without first charging $170. I called Toyota and they told me that Beaverton Toyota is not honoring the warranty and the service contract. They pretty much told me to stay away from them. I called Gladstone Toyota and they are going to fix it for $0. Stay away from Beaverton Toyota. I am in the process of making a formal complaint with Toyota against them.

Brought my 2019 4Runner TRD Pro in to get the factory roof rack removed. Only eight bolts (one stripped - that's why I brought it in) to remove. Three hours and $180 dollars later they tell me I'm done, but in removing the stripped bolt, the guy working on my car (I refuse to call him a mechanic), damaged the part holding the bolt in place.
They didn't try to fix, just said it was ready so I drove it home. When I tried to mount the new rack, I discovered the damage. Their story.that's what happens when you remove those bolts. I knew this could happen if some guy off the street tries to remove the bolts, so that's why I took it to Beaverton Toyota Service department and paid $180 to have eight bolts removed.so that they wouldn't damage that part.
Do yourself a favor. Other than a simple oil change or tire rotation, stay away from Beaverton Toyota. Update after Business Owner response: Yes, the bracket can easily become dislodged when removing the rack.should you do what you can to put the bracket back in place before returning the car to their owner? I would think yes, but Beaverton Toyota thinks not.
When I discovered that they screwed up the bracket, I scheduled an appointment the next day (taking another vacation day from work) to have them fix the issue and that's when I was told this wasn't Beaverton Toyota's problem. I stripped the bolt so they had to dislodge the bracket in order to get the bolt off.fixing the bracket was now my problem.
I spoke to one of their managers after posting the above review asking if there was anything they could do to have me retract the review. I had ordered the replacement bracket already, so he offered to install it when the part came it, so I did considered that. But, after a few days, I just do not trust Beaverton Toyota to do anything with my car anymore.
I had some time this morning to take a look myself and saw that in fact the bracket was just misaligned and I fixed the issue myself in 20 minutes. Something that would have taken a technician 10 minutes at the most. After taking $180 to removed eight screws and to discard the factory roof rack (if I wanted to take the roof rack home they wanted another $180 to take the rack apart), you would think extra 10 minutes of work to complete the entire task to a customers satisfaction would be a no-brainer, but, sadly there are more and more places like Beaverton Toyota service department (I bought my 4Runner there and have no issues with the Sales department) that try to nickel and dime you and get away with half-assed work. So, no this was not resolved to my satisfaction.

The only reason I even rated Beaverton Toyota one star was because there was no options for zero stars. From their sales department to their parts department you will never find a worst place to deal with in your life. Absolutely the biggest rip offs crooks liars the most disingenuous car dealership that there is in all of Oregon and quite possibly the whole US.
Do yourself a favor don't buy anything from this dealership you will be sorry. Don't have any accessories put on your vehicle here because the service department is probably the biggest hack job that I've ever seen down in my entire life.

I purchased a new vehicle from Beaverton Toyota this previos weekend, and i gotta say -- be wary of any added costs that you might see on the contact, and if you are assigned a salesman named Jeremy: RUN. this guy tried selling me these optional serviced packages so hard that it was almost comical, if it wasn't so downright insulting. each time i told him 'no, i don't want them' he would keep praising how great they are, and even asking me "so you dont see any value in these?" so, he handed me a contract that he stated was without the optional warranty packages, and when i looked over it, i noticed a $3000 item titled "Ethos" and i asked him What it was and flat out lied and said it was something else entirely. so, come monday i was looking more into my full contract and it told me what Ethos was -- an optional service contract.
One i didn't want, was told it was removed from the contract, and then lied to me when i asked him what is was. i called Jeremy and he said "yeah that's a great warranty, it covers bla bla bla" i asked him how to remove it and he said to come back to the dealership and have it remove, that i have 30 days to think about it. And then he had the audacity to finish the call with "yeah, think about it and come back in the first or second week of july" clearly that would have been passed the 30 days. this guy is a real piece of work and his actions reflect horribly on their motto of "CLEAR" with truth and transparency on a side note, when i returned to the dealership to have it removed, another couple walked in shortly after me with a question about their contract.
We started talking, and it turns out that they had the same Ethos optional warranty plan slipped in without their knowledge. i would be very very wary dealing with anyone from Beaverton Toyota, especially Jeremy 1 star because they gave me a new contract without the unwanted warranty package

Had an appointment to purchase a new car. Knowledge sales force. They do their best dealing with the inventory they have. My only gripe is they are reluctant to take a deposit on incoming because they say that they do not really know what is coming. Could be Toyota fault. It's just that other dealers do know what is coming in, and take deposits on them before they are on the lot. Anyway, I was not able to buy a car from them because of that; maybe next time.

Dave S. was amazing, during this different time of car shopping. He stayed in communication from pre-deposits, to any type of delay that may occur. He got me a great deal, on my dream car (2022 APEX COROLLA) & payments I was comfortable with. He definitely made my first time car buying during *Covid* an experience to brag about! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

1. Your staff is awesome, well trained and good dealing with the public 2. Check in is easy and fast, especially under a covered area similar to a car rental check in. 3. Area for improvement: My situation: From out of town approx 1.5 hrs away, thus had to wait for service. Was a factory recall on a relatively new vehicle. Made appointment about 6 weeks ahead of time to make sure my work was to start on time.
Appointment was scheduled at 9AM and arrived 15 min early. My wait time turned into a 5 hr wait. I noticed on my receipt Toyota was charged 0.6 hours of labor for the recall work. I appreciate the extra labor done such as the overall checklist of fluids, etc but I wonder if my vehicle just sat for an extended period of time despite my appointed hour.
I think my next visit, I'll bring up the idea of getting the work done at my appointed hour, especially if my appointment is early in the day when emergencies tend to ruin any schedule as the day wears on. If I have another similar experience, I'll just try another service. Just my suggestion. I do like your personnel and facilities.

Got contacted by someone at the dealership that they had a 4 Runner I wanted for sale and I called right away to see what I needed to do to buy it. They told me to come in to put a deposit down and made an appointment. I dropped what I was doing, on a school night (I'm a teacher) to drive 30 minutes out to be told a block away from the dealership that they told it to someone else.
Terrible way to do business. Not only did we just waste our time but I'm legitimately heart broken about it as I was really excited to buy this vehicle. Really bad taste in my mouth with this dealership.

Traditionally buying a car can be a tedious and strenuous process but not here. Sam was an awesome guy to talk to and he helped me find the best truck with the right upgrades. He always greeted me with great customer service and made my purchase more than enjoyable. I bought a 2022 Tacoma and couldn't be happier with how he took care of me and how easy it was to communicate. Great guy, great dealership and a great truck! 5 stars

During an oil change, the service department forgot a Gatorade bottle in the engine compartment (used for collecting oil). So if getting your vehicle serviced here, make sure to check it and look under the hood before leaving! Thankfully I checked, most people don't. Can only imagine the problems this could have caused. Not to mention if a problem had occurred. would they accept fault days or weeks after the fact?
I spoke with the dealership before leaving and they were apologetic and said it would be a teaching opportunity. Nice but little comfort considering what the result "could" have been. After a prior horrible experience at another oil and lube station, I came to the dealership and paid extra for a job done right. Very frustrating.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Take your car somewhere else for service! TL;DR Beaverton Toyota did not properly dry the inside of my car after detailing it, it glitched my head unit screen and they have taken no responsibility for their mistake. They also messed up my cabin fan motor doing an inspection that I did not consent to when I was told they would "try to repair the head unit." $3k worth of damage on a $350 detail.
I had a basic inside/outside detail and when I got to my car, there was major condensation on the inside which is confusing because I dropped it off at 8am and picked it up at 5:30pm so there was plenty of time for them to dry it properly. When I started my car up, my navigation/map touch screen glitched and would not come on. Their guy came out to look at and said "maybe when the car dries out, it will come back up." I scheduled them to look at it, and they said they found no water damage and no loose connections and they won't make it right.
I spoke with the service manager and he had me bring it a second time to quote "try to repair it" for me. They had it another 4 hours and then he told me they couldn't find water damage and none of the connections were loose. when I asked about them trying to repair it, he kept repeating himself about loose connections and no water damage. They did an inspection on my car when they said they would try to repair it, and now the fan is making noise after so it seems like every time they touch it they mess something else up.
They are going through the motions without actually trying to fix a situation that they messed up because they did not dry my car out properly. They told me they are not going to do anything about it so now I have a $2800 bill to replace my navigation touch screen and an annoying fan noise all from a simple detail. I had zero issues with car up until they had it.
I had just told my son I was going to give it to him when he could drive. I wanted to get it detailed so it would remain in good condition, and they completely ruined it and have done nothing to make it right. The response below is the most communication I have received from them. They spend more time posting responses to bad reviews online than they do focusing on real customer service.

I took my Tacoma in for service today. My passenger window appeared to be out of track. It wouldn't roll up or down. I obtained an 11 O'clock appointment and dropped it off on time. I told my Service Advisor I would be waiting while the repair is being made and provided my phone number to be notified of the estimate. I assumed the estimate would take half and hour at most.
I mean, how long does it take to pop of the door panel and see what's happening inside the door. Two hours later, I called my wife and asked her to pick my up. I am litterally starving as the lunch hour has passed. It took three hours for the Service Adviser to call me and tell me everything checked out. Nothing is wrong with my vehicle. Apparently I had accidently disabled the window with the lock-out feature on the driver's door.
As I explained my frustration with the unreasonable wait time the Service Advisor she hung the phone up on me. When I picked up my Tacoma insisted to speak with a Service Manager. After explaining my issue. The Service Manager explained to me, my 11 O'clock appointment is for check in only. That the Service Advisor failed to tell me other cars were still ahead of me and that it could take hours before my car is attended to.
So in the future, I need to keep in mind the an appointment only means a drop of time. And that I should plan on leaving my vehicle for many, many, hours regardless of how minor the repair might be. Good to remember how this place does business.

Had a fantastic buying experience with Sam DeVos and Beaverton Toyota! Got a great price on our 2022 RAV4 Hybrid with all the features we wanted. We had to wait a few weeks for the vehicle to arrive and Sam kept us updated every step of the way. He answered all our questions about financing and service plans and got our purchase structured just the way we wanted. Thank you so much! Highly recommend Sam and this dealership.

I had an appointment at 1:30 to have my tires rotated. After I checked in I was told to wait in the service room. I asked how long it would be. Was told 2 and 1/2 hours wait. I asked why did I even make an appointment? I was told that was just to get the privilege to see me. I left as I could not wait two and 1/2 hours. I called when I got home and talked to a service manager and was told "why should we change our policy when it works for us." If I could give 0 stars I would.

I would like to post our feedback of Beaverton Toyota for a recent experience. We have purchased the last three cars from this dealership expressly because their CLEAR model works for our customer style. We worked with Andrew Cantwell as our Sales Representative. Andrew listened to our goals and needs for a new vehicle performing all the tasks timely and effectively with little or no pressure.
He was great in updating us on status and options during the wait for matching inventory. He was patient in dealing with my wife's and my requirements and optional package requirements. In the end, we had to negotiate the buy or wait and determined an available vehicle was a good fit for our family. The overall process and set up was caring and I felt "heard" by Andrew.
The other staff was always helpful and informative. These are all reasons when it comes time for car #4, you will find me looking for Andrew at Beaverton Toyota to ensure my success. PS. This was a gift for my wife and she loves the car. Thank you Beaverton Toyota! Thank You Andrew!

Purchasing our 2022 4runner from Beaverton Toyota was a pleasant experience due to the incredibly knowledgeable and personable, Alex Smith. He kept us updated on the status of our vehicle, promptly responded to our numerous questions and helped us determine the best accessories for our 4runner. Thanks again for the great experience!

I had a fantastic experience purchasing my 2021 4Runner from Beaverton Toyota. I was working with Alex Smith to find the perfect 4Runner for me and he was amazing to work with! He kept me informed on availability, was extremely knowledgeable about all of the vehicles, and made the entire process a breeze. He answered all of my questions without hesitation and really understood what I was looking for. This was the easiest, least stressful car buying experience I've ever had! I would highly recommend Beaverton Toyota and Alex.

I enjoyed my time here, looking at cars! Due to chip shortage they did not have the hybrid model of the RAV4 available to test drive (someone was driving the last one off the lot) but I was told I can check online for inventory prior to coming in next time. Staff were friendly at this location. Will definitely be returning
