Portland now ranks second among the nation's major cities for car thefts per capita, outpaced only by Detroit and Baltimore. Nearly 10,000 cars have been stolen last year in PDX. By October of 2021, the number of auto thefts had already outpaced all of 2020 at 1,100 vehicles for that month. Autobella specializes in the remediation of mold and water intrusion within vehicle interiors.

Before I say anything else - There is no chance you get anything but a 5-star experience from Tommy and Autobella. Any review that says otherwise is either not an actual customer or it's a competitor. Tommy came out to my house today at 9:30am and took a vehicle that I hadn't cleaned in years and made it look brand new. He shared details along the way of ways I can protect the car better and a few tricks he uses to keep things looking clean and nice.
I talked with him for a while today, he used to have a storefront and now does all his business by mobile appts and at your home. Him and his son did an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC job, our car is spotless inside and out. Saying it's worth the money is an understatement. I truly do not believe anyone leaving a bad review, he went above and beyond what he said he would do.
I have used yelp for over 15 years and written maybe 5 reviews, but this one is worth my time. Autobella is the gold standard in Portland and there is no reason to use anyone else in this city if you need your vehicle detailed. He was done in 2 hours and it couldn't have been an easier process. Thank you Autobella! I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Horrible experience! The owner is sly, deceitful, not to be trusted, and doesn't stand by his mistakes. Stay away! I brought in a brand new Tesla Model 3 and he did a horrible job with the window tinting. Caused damage to each door panel and didn't fix what he did. Dodged my emails, phone call, text messages, and vacated his brick and mortar shop so I couldn't serve him with a lawsuit. Horrible human-being that doesn't deserve to serve the community.

I am assuming that Autobella is out of business at this point? Their communication is absolutely non-existent. I used their website to schedule my appointment as directed when I called to schedule initially. No one called me to schedule. Resent message from website. Called me and said I was confirmed a day that I worked that I verbally chose. I hadn't even spoken with them and would never have chosen a day that I worked. Finally, scheduled appointment.
Then Autobella never showed up on that day. Called them and scheduled again. Didn't show up for a second time. Two days of lost wages now. I have heard nothing from them since that day despite me calling them several times! Absolutely DO NOT use their service.oh wait, they won't call you back so you probably won't have to worry about booking anything through them.
I have been trying to get my car detailed (already paid through a gift certificate) since August and it is still not been touched by this company. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau! (Update: I just called one last time from another phone number and they actually answered the phone and then they hung up on me and now won't answer again!) At this point, I just want my money back! Terrible!

Highly recommend Autobella. We inquired with multiple companies most of them did not even call us back and the others were asking a pretty ridiculous price. Website is easy to use and you can schedule your date of service. The team showed up on time and performed a pre sale car detailing; the car looks brand new! Thanks so much!

Whoever was cleaning my car that day stole my new state parks pass from my car. The night before I cleaned out everything except a few things in my glove compartment. I intentionally left the pass there to not lose it. I also checked the bag of stuff I removed on the off chance I was having amnesia, and it was not there either. I reluctantly emailed the owner and he said it was likely misplaced during the cleaning and he would reimburse my for the pass. I am still waiting on that check. So $575 for the cleaning and $30 for the missing item. I think I try somewhere else next time.

I took my 2015 BMW wagon here to get the headlights restored. The owner told me their process was to wet sand the lenses, polish them and then finish with a clear coat wrap. My lenses are still potted and they completely lied about the wrap. I could still visibly see the spots still on the lenses. They didn't even tape off where they were working and gouged my clear bra.
When I brought this to their attention, it was a complete denial about what they did and what was promised. This was a complete waste of 2 hours and $125 If you can, go somewhere else or ask real detailed questions. Do not trust these guys!

I love this place and my pictures will show you why. I can show you better than I can tell you. I have four kids and bought my vehicle at 2 years old almost 7 years ago. The interior was perfect when I purchased it. After traveling the US in my vehicle with all of my children, my interior was trashed.disgusting. I also smoke in my car. I took it to be detailed because I will start using my vehicle for work.
They let me know right away that all the stains wouldn't come out. That's fair, so I tried. I waited almost 7 hours and it was totally worth it! Is it perfect, no. It's clean though and I believe they did what they could. The smoke smell is now faint and there won't be eating or smoking in my vehicle any longer. The pictures speak for themselves. I will add better pictures matching the before photos later. Payment is easy peasy. I got an invoice in my e-mail and paid electronically. Thank you, Autobella!

My husband had my car detailed for mothers day. Great gift, but we wouldn't come to this shop again. They used some chemical agent that they sprayed on the console and it left spots all across it. My husband called immediately after to talk to the owner about it. At first he denied it and said it was there before. Clearly not true. Eventually after my husband took the car there to show him what had happened, he acknowledged the problem and said that he would order a new cover for that part of the console for us.
That sounded like a great resolution and would have totally solved the problem. That was 6 months ago and still no follow up from him. In spite of several efforts to reach out to him, we have heard nothing. And I am still driving around with a spotted indoor interior. If the owner had just stood by his word, followed through with his commitment and fixed the problem, we would have been fine.
But since that hasn't happened, and he clearly has no intention of taking responsibility for what his shop has done, we can't give him a good rating. Others should beware.

I took my car to Autobella last week for an interior detail. After two solid years of heavy use, the car needed it! I couldn't be happier with my results. Every tiny corner was cleaned and cared for. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. I've already recommended Autobella to several friends & I will be back for all my detailing needs!

Last minute decided to get the outside of my car details. I was super excited when they finished (2 hours) and it was sparkling new looking and they had been able to get out a lot of the scuffs and scratches! It feels super smoother and the polish looks perfect. I definitely got exactly what i asked for and at a good price. Highly recommend. Invoice was send via email and i paid and picked up with ease.

I really wanted to give this place a good review. I struggled between 2-stars and 3, despite having read a lot of good things about it. My initial experience over the phone, and upon drop off, were both very good. The owner seemed very nice and professional. Once there I still felt confident after speaking with him. He said he could get the yellowed headlights clear again and so I decided it was worth it.
He also said that for a little more they could do the exterior and that it was worth it, although my original intention was only to do the interior, which was in really dirty, bad shape. The seats in this used car I had just bought really needed attention, and so the plan in advance was to replace a panel that was ripped, and that the rest would be colored and reconditioned (he assured me they didn't spray the color on, but that they hand-tinted it or something).
I agreed to the exterior after looking it over with him, and noticing that there was green mildew all over the edges, etc. I left with Uber happy to get it taken care of, feeling that I would be pleased to have spent the money making the car "like new" again, inside and out. I was told the car would be ready upon my return (maybe it was about 24 hours or so later? Don't recall as it's been a few months now).
Just before leaving the house I call or he calls, and I'm told they need more time as they're swamped and it's not ready. They assure me it'll be ready in time to get my kid, but as I recall, it wasn't. When I arrive the interior looked great overall and at a glance, but I specifically recall him saying they sprayed the color on the seats! (Wait- what?).
He tells me if I am willing to bypass the exterior that he'll give me a discount and I can come get it, but at this point that's not what I want and I just want it all done like we had said. So we set a time the next day for me to come get it and I go another day without a car (not a luxury I always have). The next day I take another Uber there and upon arrival I see all kinds of stuff not done.
One thing I noticed was some dirt or marks on the speakers and asked the worker if they could clean them. He said they couldn't because the speakers would get wet. Huh? Don't they have brushes? Or a cloth dampened with some kind of cleaner they use, I ask him? More about this later. They ask me if I can give them more time but I couldn't because I had to be home for my son or a client and so I get right back in another Uber and plan to come back AGAIN.
He calls me and apologizes and says they just shouldn't have overbooked themselves. I come back later in yet ANOTHER Uber to get my car. Before heading over he said he'd discount it "x" amount by not charging me for the headlights, but later I realized that it really just payed for all my Uber rides, but not my time (and I'm not cheap by the hour).
Now I get the car home and it looked pretty darn good, but I was still finding random stuff (my son found a sticky dime and some stuff at the bottom of his deep door- cupholder, as an example). When I went to vacuum a week later (we have a dog) I saw crumbs and stuff just barely inside the the crack of my passenger seat (and yet no one had sat, much less eaten there).
We noticed music was only coming from the speakers on the dashboard despite surround-sound all over. A couple of times the other speakers DID come on, but not inconsistently, so I go to Cartoys to figure out what's wrong. The woman says right away that it may be condensation (wtf?!) from having gotten wet! Sure enough, that's what it was. Unreal.
It was hot weather and she said to wait and they would dry out and if not to come back. Thankfully they did dry out and work again, but that could only mean one thing- Autobella wet my speakers! Ugh :( The headlights already seem to have yellowed again (not sure how or why). I have a feeling when they're not overbooked Autobella is probably great.
Or when they think they have a high-end customer or something? Not sure. I only know it was a lot of money for me, and the amount of grief I went through, with the minimal discount to show good will for their mistakes and timing, wasn't worth it to me. There was a place downtown that I had had a great experience with in the past, but they had been booked up for months out, and so I figured I'd try this place out.
I guess the lesson for me is to be patient next time and wait for the tried and true. I ALWAYS appreciate ANY business that doesn't overbook. It's just not worth having your great business look bad for that one avoidable reason :(

Great auto detailing. Very professional. The prices are very fair for the service. I've had 3 different cars detailed for selling by Autobella over the years and highly recommend anybody gets a car detailed prior to selling to get top dollar. Autobella will make your dingy car look great again. They even did some minor touch up chip repair. I haven't used the service for detailing a personal vehicle, rather than for selling, but I think they take it a little further.

I showed the owner my car that had clear coat scratches and significant paint chips from scraping a wall. He said the scratches should come out and the area would look 95% better. While the paint work was adequate, none of the scratches appeared any better. The owner said that was all he could do. As a professional detailer Im pretty sure he knew if the scratches would come out and he basically told me whatever he thought I would want to hear.
He told me it wouldnt be able to see the damage further than 2 feet. I can still see the damage at 10 feet. Basically the owner will tell you anything you want to hear just to get you in the door. Dont take your car here for scratch/paint repair. Wasted money!

I was looking for a hand wash for my convertible, and this place was near my office and made it easy to setup an appointment through their website. I dropped the car off, had some coffee nearby, came back an hour later and the car was done and looked great. The hand wash price was very reasonable compared to other detail shops, and they even have an easy mobile/online payment option.

Called at 905 am, I was able to leave my car all day no problem which was one of the things that they would need my car until 2. However the price of the detail was $279. The man on the other line stated that they don't do any express details. In other words they only offer one price and one type of detail, so if your budget is in almost 300 don't go there. So if your car isn't terribly dirty just needs to be vacuumed and wipe down this is definitely not the place to go.

I was in town on temporary business and had a smelly mishap in my '03 Yukon. I found Autobella by his ratings, and he ended up exceeded them! Tom was absolutely professional, very friendly, and did an amazing detail job on my car. His prices are very competitive and worth every penny! I would highly recommend Autobella to anyone (car dealer, car seller, or just someone who likes their car to look fantastic)!

I use YELP for almost everything but this is only my second review. I own and operate several vehicles, (fleet & personal), and work in an industry that most certainly gives not only the outside but the inside of my cars/trucks a workout. I have gone through many detail companies over the last ten years in the Portland area. Most were referred by somebody who knows somebody.
As the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression. I pulled in to the lot of Autobella Northwest, (after following a cement truck on I-5 throwing rocks against the front of my brand new 750IL that has less than 1500 miles.) Needless to say, my blood pressure was through the roof. I met Tom, and he was AWESOME! He was calming while in the midst of a frantic guy who was completely losing his mind.
He was confident that they could help me and at the same time recommended that I install the VentureShield to help prevent this from happening in the future. The car was perfect! I am so glad I found them. It was nice to meet someone who is as crazy about perfection as I am. I will make sure that Tom & Autobella Northwest receives all of my business and referrals from now on! Thanks again, Autobella Northwest! David Miller Customer for life!
