I can't say anything but very professional sales man and managers, I saw the car on the website last night, Chris called me and asked me if I was coming to test drive the car! The next day I drove to Baton Rogue and he was waiting, the car was clean and pulled to the front, right away I took it for a ride and I told Chris please get me done fast, one hour later I was done, I signed paper work and i traded in my old vehicle and I was on my way back. Very professional, they worked with me and we made the deal. I would definitely go back and recommend the dealer to all my friends. Thanks Chris and all the managers.

My wife's 2016 Tiguan has been an ongoing headache! I HATE THAT CAR! We live in Alabama, but our daughter is at LSU. This time i got a call saying her red battery light was lit. I called the dealership and gave them a heads up that my family was on the way. The Service Department found the issue quickly (belt converted to confetti) and my family was on the road quicker than we had hoped.
Without going into specifics I will say that my family experienced INTENSE trauma at a VW dealership at home and I asked these folks to please give my family special treatment. Once on the road my family called and talked about the nice people and comfortable experience they had. Thanks to the Service Department for turning a potential nightmare into a minor hiccup.

Purchased a Atlas from Southpoint in 2020. Unfortunately we had a issue with it that they are still working with Volkswagen directly to get repaired. The dealership felt our frustration and bent over backwards to put us in a new Atlas. They made us a trade in deal we could not refuse. The sales and service staff are by far the best I have ever dealt with.

I've become use to having less than stellar experiences here but today was the final straw. I had a scheduled appointment for a very simple tire swap. It took just under TWO AND A HALF HOURS! On top of that when I get my car back my mask is missing. The service rep, Calvin, was amazing and gave me two of his own, but it's the principle of the matter that a service that shouldn't take that long did and A THIEF TOOK MY MASK!
The manager, Brad, offered to give me a $100 service gift card, but you couldn't pay me to come back somewhere that can't do anything in a timely manner ON TOP OF TAKING MY MASK! We are in a pandemic and someone back there thought it would be cute to take my mask. I am never returning.

Once or twice a year I believe in awarding a business a six star rating and this would be one of those times. I live in Lake Charles but bought the car in Baton Rouge because my daughter goes to school there. From the day I bought it to the few Times it has been service there, everything has been absolutely perfect! Everyone is super friendly, professional, and treat us like we are servicing a Rolls-Royce. I truly can't say enough positive things about the dealership, Brad, and everyone else I've dealt with!

Went to this dealership recently and got a really good deal on a Passat. It's a beautiful car and I am so satisfied with the dealerships service. JB was the nice representative that helped us. He accommodated us well and he did not try to push a sale, he made sure to ask what I want for a vehicle, he is also very knowledgeable about vehicles so it was a very easy and smooth sale. Kevin the manager also helped us explained our options and he was also very nice.
I also want to to commend on the service I had to have a couple of things done with this new vehicle and they are more than willing to help us get it fixed and gave us a loaner to use as well. Overall the service is GREAT I'll give 10 stars if I could. Never been to a dealership like this before, one that doesn't push and haggle you and one that truly cares for what you want. Chris Pray and the rest of the sales staff at Southpoint Volkswagen were incredibly accommodating, fair with my trade and made it an easy decision to move from a GTI to a Golf R. They were worth the trip from New Orleans to Baton Rouge hands down. If you want a VW and you're in southern LA, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit.

Have been visiting the Baton Rouge area for several years, from Pennsylvania and Texas. I have had to take my VW Jetta to the dealer a couple times. Usually, I have my car services at the dealer in PA. The 1st time I took it to Southpoint, huge amount of repairs recommended. I spoke with my mechanic back home and he said absolutely not. 2nd time, Nov. 2017 my hood release would not open and had to be replaced.
A necessity to change oil and top off the coolant. Pricey, but no other option. The most recent time, January 2018 I was having a check engine light. Car was running fine, but it did concern me as I needed to return to PA. I stopped by Chabill's to check the code and they indicated it needed a thermostat. They did not do this repair so back to Southpoint.
To my shock, I received a repair estimate of $3009! Their recommendations was to basically replace everything "possible" related to the thermostat, plus rear brakes, plus emergency cable. Again, car still running fine. Based on their "professional" recommendation, and my uncertainty about the validity of these repairs, I had to arrange for a trailer to return my car to PA.
The repairs upon returning home, $592.85! The back brakes passed state inspection, while front brakes were actually the ones needing replaced and the thermostat as indicated by Chabills originally. Nothing else needed done, car has been running fine! Beware. I will definitely be passing this on to Better Business Bureau and VW Corporate. Very happy my daughter moved to Wyoming, hopefully more trustworthy dealers there!

This place has terrible service. The service writer tried to charge me a hundred bucks more than what I had booked my service for online. I had to physically show him on his computer how wrong he was after being lectured on how he would lose money at the price before he would correct it. I then witnessed him charge an old lady for a new air filter after after showing her her clean one. This place is also disgusting. There is dirt and dust all over the waiting room. Also questionable stains all over on the walls.

The service here is great. The folks really seem to care and are very accommodating. I've dropped in without an appointment several times between regular maintenance for small issues and they have always taken care of me and my car quickly and with a smile. I got my Touareg Diesel here a month before the EPA scandal and besides the corporate goodwill gestures, the staff at Southpoint have been great about answering my questions and making sure I get the most out of said gestures.

OMG! I will save you time, no matter where you live. New Orleans, Westbank, Eastbank, River Parishes. GO TO THIS VW! I previously went to the Ray Brandt VW in Harvey on the Westbank, and it is a SHARK PIT! I had a VW lease that was up and wanted to see my options (meanwhile I had been to nearly every kind of dealership in the area and LaPlace to see what they had to offer too). Anyway, I ran out of the Ray Brandt VW swearing I'd never be back because they lied, marked-up prices, added "fees", claimed EVERY incentive I was entitled to was a personal favor, and expecting I pay 70% of the MSRP on my 36 month lease.
They though I was an idiot! ANYWAY, within a few hours, ALL OVER THE PHONE, I got an amazing price on the car I wanted, we negotiated no problem, no fees on old VW or anything related, AND they even brought my car to me at my office in LaPlace. UNBELIEVABLE service, mind-blowing integrity, and I wish I had considered this place before! THANK YOU BRAD FROM SOUTHPOINT VW!

I have been looking for a CPO Touareg for some time and while I ultimately found the vehicle I wanted at another dealership I had a phenomenal experience with the staff at South Point VW and highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a new or pre-owned VW. The sales staff was attentive and honest, but never pushy and always polite & friendly.
If they had the right vehicle in their inventory I would have purchased my CPO Touareg from South Point in a heart beat. Make sure you ask for Bill Rinehart- he will take care of you!

"Beautiful cars and excellent service". Being a new owner of a gorgeous Volkswagen, my husband and I are all about making sure we treat the car right and get it the proper maintenance that it needs, when it is needed. We have been to this dealership a couple times and folks in the service department have given us nothing but stellar service. First of all, I love the the vehicles in their showroom and nostalgic green apple colored VW van. So, if you are an owner of one of these quality vehicles, come here to get the serviced.

This is for the service department. A few weeks after purchasing my TDI, I had an alarm system put in for my own peace of mind. VW alarm system installations are temperamental for lack of a better term. Bruce and Jason did not stop until my alarm was working perfectly with the car. In the meantime, I was given a great loaner. They were great about keeping me updated with the progress of the install, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Since then, any time I've needed anything--from maintenance to just a question about my car--I've always been given prompt, friendly, and thorough service. To sum it up, I couldn't be happier that I came here. From sales to service, the entire process has been fantastic. Worst dealership I've ever experienced. I would never recommend even to my worst enemy to ever bring their VW into the service center. Way overpriced, go somewhere else to get your car fixed besides here because this place will nickel and dime you for everything. Terrible customer service every time I have walked into the service department the employees always were so rude and uninterested in anything as if silently telling me to go screw myself. Also, do not plan on getting your car back in a timely manner either because that is mostly likely not going to happen.

Great service. If you are looking to buy a Volkswagen this is the place to get it. From sales to service they are always great. This is an Outstandingly ran dealership. All sections have great customer service oriented personnel. Sales, Parts, Service, Title Transfers. I bought a new VW from them 6 Months ago and they've always treated this customer very well. They don't mess around with offering good deals either. When they advertise online with low prices, its exactly what you pay for.
A lot dealerships don't even post prices online, which seems kind of suspicious. I live in Metairie and I drove all the way to SVW to buy my 3rd VW. Great customer service is worth driving an hour for. A caparison of SVW to Walker VW (worst dealership ever) is like night and day. Polar opposites!
