Helped a disabled friend purchase a rampvan from Jonathan and we were pleased with the variety that was displayed and the selection that we made. Would definitely do business with them again if the opportunity arises.
Browse new and used Class B camper vans for sale built on Ford, Chevy, Mercedes or Dodge van chassis. We purchased our used 2004 Pleasure Way camper van in September and are so happy to have found it at Classic Vans. Our sales person, Serio Borders was very knowledgeable, polite, and patient with all our inquiries.

Following up on a previous negative review. After Classic Vans made 2 attempts to fix our wastewater/plumbing system which was under warranty, we took our camper van to a local RV repair shop. They solved the problem. We sent the repair bill to Classic Vans, they immediately send us a check to cover the repair.

I purchased my first Class B Van from Classic Vans in January after reviewing only photos online. Before delivering the van, the dealership provided an oil change, a welcome kit and four new tires. On the day of delivery, the delivery driver James spent several hours with me explaining various driving features, as I drove the van around town. Follow-up questions were handled by Face-Time sessions and the smiling faces and occasional chuckles of Michael and Marty. Marty especially had an abundance of patience as I was new to the Van World.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention how helpful Serio and Jordan had been as they man the phone lines and always made themselves available for me. I am still amazed how knowledgeable they are about Class B Vans. I recently took my first road trip from Seattle to Arizona and Jordan and Serio were there to provide suggestions whenever I called with a question.
These days everyone says they have customer service but this longtime family business actual practices it. My friends said I was crazy to buy an unseen, out-of-state van, but they were wrong. This 70 year old teacher was treated like family. Hella

We have been looking for a used Winnebago of a particular configuration and they have been hard to find. One popped up at Classic Vans. We called in the morning and they got back to us quickly letting us know that it was still available. We drove over and spent several hours looking over the rv. They stopped by to check if we needed help but did not pressure us.
We then went and asked questions and they were highly knowledgeable about the rv. They even let us take it for a test drive. We did not end up buying it but I would definitely buy from them and would use them for service. They felt very honest and easy to deal with.

Bought my first Class B from them last year and it was such a pleasant experience. I hate car buying because of all the sales tactics and getting someone who pretends to know anything about the car they're selling but not here. They took the time to educate me and showed me over a week all the vans they had. They get new ones almost everyday so if you don't see what you're looking for just wait a bit.
They were so patient knowing I was a first time RV owner and took care of me whenever I had any questions and issues after purchase. I hate stickers on my vehicles but I don't mind keeping classic vans' on (even though it's slightly crooked) because I support them fully. That's how much of a great experience I had here. P.S. I highly recommend a used RV over new because the first owner would have to deal with all of the issues off the lot and you get to benefit from any upgrades the previous owner put into the coach. The cost savings is undeniable.

I contacted this dealer through the web as most people do. this unit was $15,000 overpriced according to NADA. A. 2005 Pleasure Way diesel. I was willing to pay top dollar for what it was worth even on the high end. So I made an offer. That's what their website says.make an offer! Check out the reply they sent me.lol."they had no control over the price" and that it didn't include tax and licensing so it would have been out the door grand total of $65,000 which is $20,000 over it's retail value.
I don't know where their other reviews come from but honestly they have people posting reviews to help them get on their feet. Here's the honest truth they're taking advantage of supply and demand to a level that's clearly dishonest. I wouldn't buy here now even if they are the best damn taken care of vehicles. Since when do people have " no control over the price of their own things that they sell? Crazy lame excuse. BUYER BEWARE

Hands down, an amazing experience! From hassle-free viewing of available vehicles, to friendly and knowledgeable staff and fast responses, I would highly recommend working with the wonderful family at Classic Vans! After shopping around for months, I found the Class C that felt like home at Classic Vans- they worked with me to make it happen and now I am a proud first time RV owner. Every step of the process was easy and fun! They really are the best around!

Are there six stars available? Everyone I have worked with from online quoting, purchase, financing, to pick up. all went GREAT! From front office to service technicians, I am speechless on the great level of service they provided my family and I. We bought our camper van and ran into a minor accident 2 days after. Serio and the whole team were more than helpful, empathetic, and upstanding to support my family's purchase. I would absolutely do business with them again and would refer anyone to them who is considering making van purchases!

I bought a used sprinter camper van from them back in 2016, wow, how time flies, and it's been a pleasure to buy from them. They had a good selection, which you can browse online before you make the trip to Hayward. Their asking price was fair, in line with what similar vans sold for at ebay, and below asking prices on Craigslist.

When we read the great reviews of Classic Vans we decided to go look at RV's there. We were not disappointed. John Carey was knowledgeable, friendly, honest and an all around great guy. While we didn't end up buying the RV, we would go back there in a second to buy one. Great place, great vehicles, I'd give more stars if it were an option.

Over promise, under deliver. The purchase process for our wheelchair accessible van has been nothing but continued letdowns, explanations that do not make sense, and simply no response at times from the sales and customer service team. At one point the sales rep Jordan stated, "Go ahead and try to find someone else to do the wheelchair conversion." I'm sure he thought he was getting a dig-in with that statement. I'm sure the van will be nice when we get it. But the customer service is absolutely terrible.

Great buying experience at Classic Vans! This is our first camper van, and the entire staff was very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Absolutely no pressure as we tried to learn as much as we could about what motorhome life entails. The fair pricing, certified pre-owned service, and available warranty tipped the scales for us, and we are now the proud owners of a Class B camper van - thanks to Classic Vans!

We purchased a low mileage used van conversion RV from Classic Vans. Their price was competitive, and they clearly explained every thing about the RV and gave us lots of helpful tips for our first use of a real RV. The best thing about purchasing from Classic Vans was their full warranty. Used RVs will always need some repairs and they quickly fixed them all under warranty. Do not buy an RV without a full warranty, or you will be sorry.

We love our van! One of the BEST decision we've ever made! We were looking to upgrade from our westfalia to a proper rv style camper van. We found a van listed online and decided to take the trip to go see it. Staff was lovely. Serio didn't rush us, they don't shadow you through the lot, they let you walk through and check everything out.
It let's you really experience everything for yourself without any pressure. All the vehicles were clean, and well maintained. When we did want more info Serio was right there to answer any and all questions with Marty as well. The light in the bathroom was missing the clear plastic cover, they didn't have a replacement part, but true to their word ordered us up a whole new light that arrived at our house just 2-3 days later!
They don't rush you through the final walk around, any concerns they address and make sure are to your approval. They truly want to provide you with a van that you're going to love. Several weeks later we had a small leak in the sewage line, mind you this is a 2005 camper van, so not strange. We were able to use a local repair shop, no hassle with classic vans honoring the warranty. Pros: Fair prices Friendly and helpful staff Easy repairs if needed with warranty Well kept, well maintained stock Super Dog friendly! Let us bring the dog with us! Cons: So far seriously none! Can't recommend this place enough!

My wife and I have been looking for a Class B motor home now for quite a few months. We've been to all the local and not so local dealers in the area. Classic Vans has the best selection of used class B's we've seen. We visited them twice. The first time when we knew absolutely nothing and the second time just yesterday. Chris, the younger sales associate was extremely patient and helpful, but we were not ready to purchase at that time.
The second visit we were met by an older sales associate we believe to be the owner. He was very knowledgeable, funny and eager to answer all questions. He explained how careful they are to make sure the customer gets what they need and will back it up. We really felt comfortable we could buy from Classic Vans. We narrowed our selection to 2 vehicles and started talking numbers. That's when things started to get awkward.
I felt the suggested price was quite high and counter offered at about 10% lower. This resulted in a rather heated discussion of value where he got quite defensive and angry, especially at the mention of "book value". We left without closing the deal, totally shell shocked at the rapid change in attitude. I thought a while about how I would rate this business and concluded I would still recommend Classic Vans.
The gruff take-it-or-leave it attitude seems to come with many real estate or wheel estate deals in this area. Like it or not, their prices are rather firm and representative.

It did not surprised me to see a 5 Star rating for Classic Vans and I'll tell you why. We bought our Class B motorhome, 1999 Volkswagen Winnebago Rialta from Classic Vans. We originally had planned on purchasing a 2000 Chinook as we love the Ford chasis because it had tons of torque power to tow a car or a trailer and it was longer and roomier inside. But, after measuring the width of our long 200 feet driveway, it wasn't going to fit. Also, the Chinook had the permanent bathroom that appealed to us for longer vacations. However, after talking to our Classic Vans specialist, he really listened to our needs especially when he discovered that our driveway was way too narrow for the Chinook to clear.
Low and behold, it just so happened they had a Volkswagen Rialta in their lot that day that was just perfect for us. I was sold on the 21mpg on highway, the VR6 Engine, the two twin beds, a separate computer desk with a built in chair with seat belts for me to work remotely, a built in generator to power everything like roof air conditioner, microwave and fridge when we go boondocking in the middle of nowhere, but. the pullout bathroom. we weren't so sure. However, the Rialta with it being 22 ft long, can be park in a standard diagonal parking, it can even fit in between parallel metered parking in San Francisco (I've done it). was impressive.
We went home and thought about it for a couple of sleepless nights (all the excitement of build up), we then decided to purchase the Rialta. Our experience with Classic Van was amazing. They took care of all the paperwork, they cleaned our Rialta in and out and made it "spicken" brand new, and the carpets even had the plastic covering (reminded me of my aunt's sofa from the Philippines) hahaha., and they even gave us all the little things that we needed to get us going for our first "glamping" which included the toilet necessities (biodegradable environmentally safe liquids).
Oh and they threw in the 30 amps converter to 20 amps for free. Our Rialta has only about 36,000 miles. We put 30,000 miles of it ourselves. We are so happy with our purchase from Classic Vans. In fact, we are in the process of adding a solar roof, changing out the bathroom layout, replacing the generator, removing the microwave for a convection oven, installing hardwood floors, upgrading to all LED lighting and more. Lastly, if you are in the market to purchase a van, a class B motorhome, look no further.
Classic Vans have excellent customer service and they will followup with you in 90 days to make sure you are very happy with your purchase. They also provided us a free oil change in the first 90 days. I highly recommend them as they really go the extra mile to fit you with the right vehicle. PS - our Rialta has an outdoor shower with hot/cold that comes in handy when we take our dogs to the beach and rinse them off. Makes life so easy. :p Cheers!

We purchased our used 2004 Pleasure Way camper van in September and are so happy to have found it at Classic Vans. Our sales person, Serio Borders was very knowledgeable, polite, and patient with all our inquiries. Classic Vans is family owned and operated. Very satisfied with their honest approach. We never felt pressured in any way. Truly a business modeled on integrity. When we are ready to upgrade our ride Classic Vans will be our one stop place to shop! Keeping it local!

My husband and I purchased a Honda Odyssey van from Classic Vans three months ago. They went out of their way, we felt, to be sure everything was just right. My husband is disabled and we purchased pre-owned van that had been converted with the automatic ramp, etc. What a learning curve for us and they gave us the support, patience and guidance we needed. We both highly recommend this family-owned and operated dealer. We actually found them via Yelp reviews and we were not disappointed.
