I did not hire this firm, HOWEVER, I did have an excellent experience dealing with them. My case was not a cookie cutter lemon case, but nonetheless, a case worthy considering. In the end, I was able to resolve it on my own through the manufacturer for a full refund. I called several attorneys and was appalled at some of the responses, the arrogance, and frankly, lack of compassion.

This firm and another were wonderful. First, Scott is an expert. Second, he understands what it feels like to deal with people in this industry; the dishonesty, the double-talk, and the lack of transparency that's built into the system. Mr. Kaufman is a wonderful lawyer. He took the time and effort to explain all of my options in depth and give me wise and measured advise. I found him through several referrals and the were all spot on; his knowledge of lemon law and all issues surrounding automobile law in California is superb.

Erika and Scott did a great job getting Chrysler to buy back our defective minivan. The lemon law process takes a while but they communicated effectively about the status and moved it along as quickly as they could. I'm really appreciative of having the car out of our driveway and the money back to buy something that works better. I called Kaufman & Kavicky about a dealership that sold me a car without a smog check but charged me for it at the sale. I wasn't able to renew my registration for months, the dealership didn't have a resolution except for me to smog it and they would reimburse me. I got nowhere. Couldn't be more happy with California Lemon Lawyers and our attorney, Erika Kavicky. I started the process just about two years ago looking for a Lemon Lawyer for a Tesla that started to act up. Fast forward about a year and a half and the Tesla is not drivable and ultimately went to jury trial for the lemon case. Erika pulled out all the stops and won the lemon case for us.

Several months into the process with the Tesla, I had a Honda Odyssey that also started acting up. Erika stepped right up, requested some documentation and got a full buyback on the odyssey while we were still in process with the Tesla. Throughout the entire process Erika was totally transparent and spoke to us like real people, unlike many lawyers who hide behind walls of communication barriers.

I was persistent and nagged her quite a bit, she'll probably laugh as she reads this. That's just my nature but she took it all in stride and always answered my questions in a timely manner. I contacted them for some confusing issues. They answered it clearly. They are honest, and their response was timely. I highly recommend this place.

Update: Scott K. completely misinterprets what I wrote to him. I wasn't irked that they asked me for information; of course I'm willing to provide that. It's the fact that I was being asked for the SAME information over and over again. When somebody asks me for the same information a third time, I know I'm in the wrong place. I already explained this to Scott in writing, but he still posted his incorrect comments. Scott, if you give me written permission, I will add to this review the entire discussion we had in private message, and let people see who is telling the truth. --------------- Sent them a message with the details of my case. Received a detailed response.

So far so good. But when I tried to call them, they kept sending me to new people, each of whom asked for the same information over and over again. And when I complained, they said I should find a new firm. I cannot comment on how good they are as lawyers, because I never got to talk to an attorney. All I can say is that their idea of customer service is seriously flawed.

I am very impressed by the professionalism of this office. My call was answered by Leilani. She was courteous, really cared about my situation and wanted to help me even though we were not sure if I had a case. She connected me immediately to Erika. And I could not thank Erika more with her time and advice. Although in the end, I came to the conclusion that I would not need a lawyer, I will definitely turn to Erika and this office for future needs and will highly recommend them to family and friends!

I needed somebody to take my case and I received a quick reply but no more than that. I did not understand if the lawyers were too busy to take my case, they were not interested in it or it just did not make sense to represent me because they would not be able to win or make enough profit out of it. All they did was to point me in another direction but they never gave me any explanation. Hopes turned to smoke and I did not go anywhere. 2 days after posting this review Scott K. suddenly replied and did not make any useful comment to defend their silence or the reasons for not coming back (aside from saying they were busy. for many weeks by the way). Scott K. went on claiming I made multiple posts that say essentially the same things (probably because most of the lawyers I contacted did not make any useful comments for me to understand why they would not want to engage my case).

Regarding the fact I posted multiple reviews on the same day, the complaint is totally preposterous. I find myself preparing multiple reviews and posting them in batches when they are ready and I have time. Who is Scott K. to decide when I should post? He should stick to replying to customers instead of ranting on Yelp about customers who have a legitimate opinion on the services of this firm.

If California Lemon Lawyers cannot keep up with phone calls then they should hire somebody to help out. There is nothing more annoying than somebody who refuses the truth and constructive feedback. Clearly, if there was clarity and feedback I would not be complaining. I hope he gets help. 3 weeks after replying to my initial comments Scott K. revised his comments and removed all his unprofessional and unnecessary complaints. The entire essence of his initial reply has been lost and rephrased to something much more casual. Meanwhile, my initial comments did not change by a single word.

Many thanks to Erika and Scott for helping me through this entire process with my Maserati Quattroporte 2016. I found everyone at the firm comforting, transparent, trustworthy, and highly competent from the first day I started my conversation with Scott.
