I had an amazing experience purchasing a car here with Jon Mefford. Times are changing and with that being prefaced we handled most of our transaction through email over the phone, it was really convenient and Jon was very transparent about the pricing. Before I continue with my experience I want to say that I found the exact car with the exact trim I wanted here online, and flew out from San Diego. Tacoma TRD Pro premium with a 6-Speed M/T If you plan to do something like this make sure YOU DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!
We e-mailed back and forth for a bit, spoke a few times on the phone, worked out deal, finished my paperwork online, then booked my ticket! Jon came out to pick me up from the air port. had some nice conversation on the way over, he got me in and out in of the dealership in about 30 minutes. First time doing things online, Jon made it a great experience! Just like their motto, Jon Mefford offered "No Bull", worked up a deal in a day and flew out the next. Thanks Jon & Earnhardt Toyota!

Once I finish my service, I don't think I'll be back to this location. They are always busy in the auto service department. Additionally after my service today, they tried to up sale me on a battery I didn't need. According to inspection, my battery failed. According to the auto zone inspection my battery received 100%. These pictures were taken within 20 min of each other. Very poor business practice.

I bought my baby last year and have come back several times for servicing as well as to install upgrades from the parts center. Everybody I have spoken to from sales, to servicing and parts, is down to earth and very helpful. I go in there and I see friends; I'm on first name basis with several employees, purely from my visits to the dealership. For the sake of brevity, I will speak more on my most recent situation. Ben, from parts was originally helping another client when I called in but he returned my call ASAP.
I was unable to pick up at first but he was readily available when I called back and expressed his appreciation for the patience with the phone tag. He was very helpful and attentive. He was not only able to help me with an issue I had (nobody's fault btw- Just life) he went above and beyond to make sure I felt respected and taken care of. It's pretty cool saying I can trust my dealership like a local mechanic. Plus just look at the 4Runner! I'll be coming back for a matching Supra fam. Appreciate you all!

I bought a mustang from a gentleman with the last name of Gerdes I believe the first name was Dillon. Very disappointed. After owning the vehicle for 2 days and only driving 100 miles total, my clutch went out while on the highway. I signed a waiver stating that I was covered up to 30 days or 1-2,000 miles I believe. No where on the waiver did it say what wasn't covered.
And the GM's and the car salesman left me in the dirt where I paid over $1,000 out of my pocket. Nobody wanted anything to do with me. Nobody bothered to try and put me in the right place. Instead they googled my question and their own questions. "Does warranty cover clutches?" And because google said it doesn't they said they couldn't help me.

Picked up a RAV-4 with my Daughter today and let me just say Aaron Wood the Finance manager and Ali, her sales guy are giving care salesmen a good name, I tend to put up with zero BS and will walk out of a sale no problem but this team never even once had the needle on my BS detector move at all, thanks! We came on Monday trying to buy a new Sienna, and possibly trade in my Lexus if possible! After couple of hours, the first guy we talked to was nice, but the sale agent that seem to be his manager on that conversation was obnoxious! the guys keep asking me to put more down payments which is normal and we expected it! Then he asked if we even have the money when we agreed to put more down! We may not look fancy in his eye, so I have to correct him by told him "if I don't have it I would not have the guts to be here"

Below is the review from my first visit, sadly I must update with a very disturbing review. I returned two weeks after mt first visit to Toyota. I was met by a saleman and explained what I was looking for and the price ect. He was very very pushy and became condescending when I told him I had bought a new car last year from Volkswagen that will be serviced Monday morning and i was going to be looking at the Volkswagen Taos in Scottsdale the next coming Monday.
I explained that I was trying to shop to compare vehicles before that day. The saleman had unprofessional remarks questioning my truth when I answered several of his questions. He treated me like I was lying about test driving a car on the upcoming Monday. I couldn't deal with his conduct and was going to leave. He made comments to his fellow sales people as I was getting ready to leave so I talked to the manager.
The manager listened today my complaints and showed me a few options that might work. I don't think I will spend my money here. And I'm still looking for a new car. The gentleman in the white is the sales person who needs to look for other employment. Below is the first experience. Yours experience may vary. It was a good experience. No high pressure sales people to worry about.
Great information about availability and pricing was given. No games were played and bottom line prices were available. Rebate information and coverage was very clear. Many people are building on line and many models are not on the lot because of current inventory issues. Order times might vary so do plan ahead. There is also a inventory of used to pick from. Avoid this sales Guy.

Brought my 2015 Camry here in fear that the bill would be astronomical. I was helped on the service line by an amazingly kind man. He really showed me concern. I wish I knew his name because he immediately made me feel at ease. Then Devon B, told me that he would have to keep it for a bit to determine the problem. Everyday I swore I saw $ flying out the window but, what do ya do we need a car. Devon called me and informed me that he found a service by Toyota that would repair this at NO cost - WHAT!
I literally cried. How could this be? He explained the part, repair and how the Toyota program worked. Upon pick up, INDEED the bill was PAID for. Whitney helped me check out and she was SO kind and helpful ( not sure I believe that earlier review) that girl is very kind and has a great smile! Collin took me to the car, he was kind and efficient. Norm and Ed driving shuttle, both you are AWESOME and fun to talk too I can't THANK YOU enough Toyota and these employees, mechanics, staff. You all really went above any beyond.

We have a 2020 Tundra Double Cab and researched various lift and tire options with installers. Earnhardt Toyota in Mesa, Arizona accessories manager Benjamin Friedman was knowledgeable and patient. My fiance wanted to purchase it for Christmas 2021, but due to supply constraints, it was delayed. Initially, we wanted the 3" Bilstein 6112s for the front and rear 5160s with Ad-Leaf and stock rims with 35" tires, but the lead time was over 30 days. Ben assisted with extensive research providing package options, pricing and answering our questions.
We were very specific with many concerns from our research and feedback from the Tundra community. For example, he had to balance function for a daily driver, light off-roading, moderate hauling without rear sagging, and no tire rubbing or body mount chopping. Eventually, we chose the ICON front 3" Coil-Over 2.5" shock body lift, rear 2" shock body, Ad-Leaf, ICON Tubular UCAs, with stock TRD 18" rims wrapped in 35" Toyo Open Country tires. Also, 1.5" SpiderTrax spacers had to be installed due to slight rubbing with wheels at full lock.
The rubbing was not expected at first and resolved using wheel spacers. Although not a fan of wheel spacers, it gave a nice visual stance. Also, according to several sources, the stress on wheel bearings would be similar to running wheels with an offset. Therefore, I did not see the point in spending extra for wheels that may get scratched and ding on a trail.
Additional benefits of purchasing through Earnhardt Toyota Mesa are future assistance with warranty claims and a Certified Toyota Technician for service. Ben Friedman provided superior customer service throughout the process: parts tracking and updates, coordinated the installation and assisted with acquiring a rental vehicle. In the past, I purchased a few vehicles from Earnhardt Mesa (Carolla and two Tacomas), but due to poor quality sales, service, and parts accessories received took the business to a competitor dealership. Ben Friedman and his team (Scott Talbert) went above and beyond the level of service expected.
As a result, they regained a customer on the service side and may have an opportunity on sales. Thank you, Ben, for your assistance during and after business hours. It has been almost 3K miles and running better than stock. See you in a couple of thousand miles. Keep up the great work!

UNREAL! Unprecedented customer service - correction, astonishment. I am beyond impressed with these folks. Three in particular. Salesman Jon Mefford who stayed with me for months and months as we awaited my new ride's arrival (microchip shortage mega-delays). He not only kept me constantly updated, he delivered the car to my house! THEN he came over again weeks later to give me a tutorial on the electronics.
And the guys in Accessories! Holy Cow! Talk about accommodating. Scott Talbert and Ben Friedman were exceptional in helping me make choices, coaching me, educating me, and even saving me money! I honest to God, couldn't be more impressed with these guys! BRAVO!

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Earnhardt Toyota. From Jack Shen working actively to make sure I could sustainably afford a new vehicle (and sooner than hoped), to the exemplary care and acumen of Devin in the Service Area (including giving of his time and talents to help me make informed decisions, between formal service visits). Jack and Devin (and their teams) are the reason I happily travel 172 miles (344 round trip), past multiple Toyota dealerships, for Earnhardt's superlative sales and service.
They have my heartfelt thanks. Earnhardt is my Toyota dealer, from this day until my last day, and they remain the dealership by which I measure all others. (Literal) Cheers from Flagstaff!

Hi Toyota owners! Or considering Toyota owners., I have had Hondas for years I repeat customer this is my first Toyota. And I love it! I have a persona Prius 2015. It came up for a recall. They took such good care of me. Corey was my go-to person and he was wonderful flexible professional and went over and above. Thank you so much Corey and Earnhardt Toyota.

I had a oil change don't on my 2018 Tundra this past week. I got it home and looked under the hood, my coolant was basically empty below the low line, my windshield fluid was not toped up. What is the point of your multi point inspection if your staff do not follow it and just check the boxes off. I hope you can follow up with your employees and ensure that this gets done. I'll go to a drive through oil change next time as at least I know they care more that your overly busy high priced dealership.

Terrible customer service from the cashiers/pymt window staff. I don't think I've ever felt like more of an imposition to staff. Whitney (I believe her name was) spoke with a very condescending tone and her facial expression looked like she was disgusted that she had to be bothered with helping a customer. I do not think I have ever been treated so poorly by a representative of a business. Only reason I am giving it two stars is because the young gentleman that helped me was as helpful as he could be.

Great Dealership. Purchased a brand new '22 4Runner Limited on December 2021 and all is well. Price is reasonable and overall a pleasant experience. I worked with Justin Addie. Received the title and permanent registration in the mail in a timely manner in January 2022. The only "negative" aspect of the entire experience is later on I found out the dealer installed an aftermarket alarm system on my brand new 4Runner without informing me. I'm not a fan of cheap aftermarket electronics and splicing factory wires. Will bring the 4Runner in for services in the future.

Earnhardt Toyota, I could not say enough good things about this dealership. They are honest and helpful and ultimately just want what is best for you which is hard to find at a car dealership. Mike in Sales helped me secure the car I had been searching for for 2 years, and Evan in financing was quick and helped me understand and pick the best options for my new car. Safe to say My family will be flying across country to buy all of our cars from here.

We dropped our car off the night before. We got a call early the next morning from Myron and then a second call later in the day keeping us apprised. No surprises, just information and checking in to see how we wanted to proceed. Prices were reasonable and service was exceptional. We bought the RAV 4 from Earnhardt (wonderful experience) and the service department and Myron will keep us coming back.

Had my 4Runner service here for a basic oil change. Steven K was friendly, he told me on what to expect on cost and wait time 1 hour to 1.5. Steven K review the multi-point vehicle report with me and made sure I understand what some items on the list meant. Since he took his time answering all my questions, I will be returning back to buy next car with dealership. A BIG THANK YOU to Steven K.in the Service Department!

They are charging $5000 over MSRP because there is high demand for vehicles right now. They justify this as a "market adjustment". This used to be called "price gouging", and it was illegal. I'm not sure why this sort of thing is legally permitted. Not every dealer is pulling this kind of BS. I bought almost the exact same vehicle for $6000 less at another local Toyota dealer (Big Two).
Another issue is the high pressure sales techniques these guys use when you are on the sales floor. They will bully you and use every psychological manipulation tactic in the book ("let me talk to the manager and see what I can do for you".). You can never actually talk to the guy making the price decisions. I have no financial relationship with either dealer, but I can tell you that I will NEVER do business with Earnhardt again, based on their shady business practices.

This was such an amazing vehicle buying experience, Carson, my salesman, was awesome! He has been such a tremendous help. My vehicle had a factory defect, I took it in immediately after I noticed it and so far have received excellent service, so much so that my husband and I will be returning this week to get him a new vehicle! Thank you Carson, for such a great buying experience!

We had a fantastic experience at Earnhardt Toyota with Bruce. Purchased our first brand new vehicle here and Bruce was quick, efficient, and friendly. Not your typical young car salesman who talks your head off trying to get you to purchase a vehicle. We were very pleased with our experience. Would highly recommend anyone to purchase a car at this location!

I've always had a great experience at this location! They always know how to make a customer happy. Thank you most especially to Trevor Williams! You've been awesome through the entire experience from beginning to end. Such a cool and enthusiastic guy! He reminds me of a cooler version of Zoolander >_< Best wishes! And thanks also to our finance guy! They give you a visual that would best work for you. Love my car! Waited for almost 4 months but the wait was worth every minute. Thank you again.

PART OF THE PROBLEM! The prices shown on their website is not the price they will charge. They are charging $5k on top of MSRP for a Tacoma. Is this legal, absolutely. Is it cool? I think not! This supply shortage we are in will not be forever and when it is and the supply is once again greater than the demand I hope no one supports businesses that are essentially price gouging and exploiting the current situation just cause they can. I'd be less irritated and wouldn't have posted this had they put the real price they are charging on their webpage rather than me wasting my time driving to the other side of the Valley.

I wrote yesterday the it was perhaps a watershed day as to my experience with Earnhardt Toyota. I'm happy to report that not only did they address my problem quite promptly, they seem to have found and resolved the problem. And at no charge. other than a couple of precious hours out of my day off. Thank you Chris (my salesman) for going to bat for me.

I would warn everyone about the process that this business takes when selling a vehicle to someone. I went to purchase a vehicle last week with the intention that this vehicle is ready to go. I get there and am told that they do not check vehicles for major issues until AFTER the buying process. This is a total bait and switch but goes one step above by running my credit and even further, taking my down payment.
I know because after looking back he tried to sell me vehicles double the price when I told him this is the exact vehicle I have been looking for. They then proceed to keep the vehicle and send it to the shop where they will find a major issue. They again try to sell me a vehicle double to price because they claim they already have my money. This is not ethical business.
I should have noticed the red flags. Even the fleet guy was had a bad sense of humor telling me I was wasting his time while I was on the phone getting the info he needed. I would recommend staying away if you like wasting your time and also being hustled considering carfax shows they had this vehicle for a year and told me they just got it.

-Had to order a car months in advance to get what I wanted and was charged full sticker price. -We agreed on price and trade value at that time. I walked in the dealership on the day to pick it up with pre approved financing and it still took four hours. Ridiculous. -The guy who sold me the car wasn't even there on pick up day. Never told me.
We got shuffled around to multiple salespeople and sat forever alone waiting for the finance guy. -The kicker is that we have had the car for two months and no one has ever called us to check in. How do you like it? Nothing.

Kyle and James took care of my service needs. After bringing in my Toyota Prius for an oil change and tire rotation. I noticed on my receipt (unfortunately, after I had already gotten home) that they had used conventional oil instead of synthetic oil as my plan code indicates. I emailed them the problem and James responded back immediately stating I could bring my vehicle in anytime and they would make it right.
Even though I didn't appreciate having to bring my Prius back in, I did appreciate that they made things right as soon as they were made aware of the mistake. I know mistakes do happen, but I admire when they "own it" and then do their best to make it right. Thank you!

Historically, I've avoided dealerships due to personal preference and always had an issue with the outcome. After moving to the east valley, I decided to find a dealership that I could trust. I have been a customer with Earnhardt for the past 6+ years now. Every time I've gone in to purchase a vehicle, I've always had a great experience. It's always been difficult to find a dealership who's loyal, caring and gets you what you need.
I went in July 6th to purchase a new vehicle as I mentioned above, always a pleasant experience with Earnhardt Toyota. However, this time I went in I ended up leaving with a used car that I automatically fell in love with. There were some physical damage that I noticed when I got home. I requested some repairs that I felt were hazardous for comfort. Normally, purchasing used, you get those physical damages that come with the car.
I completely understand that; however, the amount I paid and the hazardous damages were something I couldn't ignore. I requested that my tires get repaired and initially I was told they would. After I left the car with maintenance, I received a VM stating they'll only take care of one tire. Again, I wasn't happy that I was told one thing and it being changed again.
There were other physical damages I requested and other things that I wasn't happy with, but I was patient and ended up writing the Assistant general manager for assistance with my concerns. He was prompt in getting back to me. He was professional, caring and listened to all my concerns. He was quick to fix the issue and made sure I left the dealership happy.
He made sure I was comfortable and was very apologetic with any hassle I endured through the process. With that being said, I will continue to stay a loyal customer with Earnhardt Toyota. I'm very satisfied with the outcome.

I wanted to leave a major, major shoutout to Zen Berk for sitting with me for over 3 hours on his Saturday night and getting me the best possible deal on a 4runner they had in stock. I have never once had a salesperson at a car dealership fight for me and want ME to get a good deal, not the dealership. Thank you so much Zen!

Cameron Naylor, why didn't you address all the hidden fees you tack on secretly, like the window tint and door edge guards that you charge almost $900 for, that you make MANDATORY, when they cost you $200 or less? I didn't stick around to find out what else was mandatory. I think it would be a great idea for you to call other Toyota dealers in the valley to find out how they are able to label cars on their website as Pre-sold. Finally, when this is your standard way of doing business, why on earth would you be disappointed. I realize you didn't mean a thing you said in your reply, and that it was just for public consumption. But I can assure you I meant everything I said in this review.

Justin made this purchase along with Mike in the back office for paperwork that made this one "NO BULL" easy out the door in very little time compared to other car purchases my wife ans I have been through. Thank you Earnhardt Toyota and all involved behind the scenes of getting our car ready to drive off the lot! Highly recommend Justin Addie as your salesman!

I went in for a service oil change and asked specifically to make sure my car's not left unlocked. Upon getting my vehicle I was missing my 2nd key At the register. They said it's in the car. I told the service advisor I specifically asked To make sure the key is not left in the car as I have things in the car I want to make sure are secure.
Hey apologised and said nothings gonna get missing. We don't know. You don't know if there's a client walking through the parking lot. There may be cameras, but cameras don't stop the act from happening. Attention to detail is definitely missing in this dealership. The hood of my pearl white car has oil smudges on it, also not happy that my seat was pushed almost all the way to the steering wheel.
Not that it was so much work for me to move it back but it's just the attention to detail that's lacking especially when getting a higher value car such as a Toyota. I would expect lesser value or service out of a lesser brand. When I arrived at the service station they also told me that they no longer wash cars because of covid 19. Without washing cars they could move the cars through the service station a lot faster. That's one of the reasons why I go to a dealership to make sure it's all done and done right.
I would have given a one star review Come about because the bathrooms were relatively clean and they had my car done 30 minutes ahead of schedule. I do wish I had a clean exterior of my car.

Terrible service for chip-key replacement. I had an appointment for 7am, so that I could be first in line to get it done quickly. It cost me $300, and took over 3 hours to complete. Multiple people who came in for service after me were completed while I was sitting there. I paid waaay to much to have waited three hours for a key, despite it being an chip-key, when I was first in line. Earnhardt does not care once you finish buying your vehicle. Does not go there for an service, expecting it to be timely.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! I purchased a 2020 Tacoma brand new. It has 15,000 miles. The electronics started skitzing out. I took a picture of what is happening to the vehicle. Called for service. Getting the run around. Very surprised at Toyota. Disappointing to say the least. Time to contact Toyota directly so they know how their name is being treated. Poor customer service.

I did all of my research online and contacted several Toyota dealerships in the Phoenix metro area. I utilized the Costco Auto Program and worked with Jake Back at Earnhardt Toyota for my TRD Off Road 4Runner. This dealership was more than 50 minutes from my house, but I chose to work with Jake because of his excellent customer service. I think I passed 6 other Toyota dealerships to work with Earnhardt.
I test drove the vehicle and completed the purchase on New Year's Eve. Jake went above and beyond to ensure I purchased the vehicle I wanted at a price I could afford. This was my first brand new vehicle purchase in more than 15 years and I appreciated the time Jake put in to answer all of my questions. Evan Aldrich in finance was upfront and did not pressure me into purchasing anything I did not need.
He streamlined the process and we were finished in less than 30 minutes or so. Evan and Jake provided a great car buying experience. I will definitely recommend this dealership and these employees to anyone looking to buy a Toyota.

I have to update my review after the wonderful experience I had with Earnhardt's service department today and yesterday. My gas cap unfortunately would not open Monday when I had no gas left. We called and immediately got a same day appointment, the people over the phone also helped direct us to the proper tow company so it could be covered under insurance. Today, I went to go pick up my car when a tech stopped me from driving away.
He had heard a loud clicking and did not want me to leave the lot until it was fixed (absolutely stellar holding up safety standards). Ends up that I had a tire sensor in my actual tire. Earnhardt worked tirelessly all day today while they were busy to figure out what was wrong at ZERO cost. Myron was the main person helping me and I appreacite him so much!
The customer service at this place goes above and beyond. I truly do not think I will take my car any place else for ANY mechanical issue or service, I don't care the price- this place will do it right. So thanks to all the techs and Myron for making this headache a little less painful and getting my baby back on the road in less than 24 hours!

Three months ago we bought a 20 4Runner Premium and although it was rough at a part of the deal they really turned things around and made it right. So when it came to possibly looking for a Tundra we thought we'd take a look here again. We found out they had one and they REALLY bent over backwards to accommodate a special request and today I was able to take it home! It was great working with Zach and am glad we came back. Although we won't be purchasing a vehicle for a long time we'd be glad to come back if we ever need to.
