The financing prices are nothing even close to what they are on the website. They had every car listed with financing as an option. I have great credit so I went in person and they told me there was only one car I could finance which was more expensive than the one I actually wanted. They told me to come back and they would work with me on a different car.
Once I came back I filled out financing paperwork just for them to tell me I could only get the one from earlier. I will never come back to do business here again. Everything was basically a lie. They still continued to push that car on me even though I didnt want that car.

Had to write this review as soon as I got home from buying my car at Greg Coats Cars and Trucks. Working with my sales associate Dan, was by far the best experience I have ever had! I am a single woman and I never felt pressured. He was kind, courteous and an absolute pleasure to work with! The whole team there was wonderful but a special shout out goes to Dan, you're AWESOME!

Terrible experience! I came to see a car from out of state 5hr flight. The salesman told me the car was in perfect showroom condition. I confirmed with him MANY times if it had any RUST or Repaint and he assured me that the car was clean no issues at all. Finally when I came to check out the car, that wasn't the case. I noticed car had been repainted (side panel, bumper and door frames).
I also saw lots of rust under the hood and under the car. Was very disappointed wasted lot of my time and money on their word. On top of that they wouldn't negotiate the price at all, even though they gave me missinformation and made me come down. OUT OF STATE BUYERS need to stay away from this dealership. Don't waste you're time. No integrity in what they say.

Emailed late to inquire about a vehicle on there site. Received a call from Daniel Murphy the following day. After introductions the first question I had was if there were any rust under the vehicle. He replied, not to his knowledge. I told him where I was located and that I would be making a several hour drive to possibly do business. I reiterated that I do not want one that is rusted.
He followed up with that it does have rust under vehicle. Contradicting himself not 60 seconds into the conversation, my decision was made. I left him with a recommendation to conduct himself in a more professional manner. Be a better business steward. Honesty is not that hard. It's actually quite refreshing. I had read there reviews prior and based on them I almost didn't contact Greg Coats cars and trucks. Now that I did I never will again. Daniel Murphy is part of the reason dealers have the rep they have. Hope this helps someone.

We went yesterday to look at an r/t Dodge Charger. Loved the car. Not a fan of the dealership. They were very pushy when they brought us the numbers (which they clearly didn't listen to us when we told them our budget and what we would accept on our trade in). The car we looked at had a dead battery which they persistently tried to start (even when it would not turn over). Went back today test drive it (battery was dead again).
And the gas tank was on E. Pulled up to the gas station to which the the battery was dead again. And when it finally was jumped and started this time a check engine light came on. Which shouldn't have come on over the battery. So I definitely don't recommend if you have a set budget in mind and know what you want. They will not work with you on it at all.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had at a dealership, everything was going okay went for a test drive had a few issues, but we start talking price with are salesman he wasn't pushy at all. Then the manger or who ever he was comes up really aggressive and pushy the car was not worth what they was saying I checked other dealerships ships for pricing and they was 5,000 less. This dealer was just closer, the worst experience I've ever had! Will probably be buying a brand new rather than used just so I don't have to deal with people like that.

I see all the good reviews but unfortunately for me not as good of an experience. Dan would not return my email. Checked back on website to find out that the Tundra was no longer available which was no problem. Just would have been nice to have been informed of that instead of left hanging waiting for a response.

I and my uncle have gotten a few cars from Greg coats and all have had many problems. The car I have now had to have a new transfer case put in after 4 months with the car and every time I had taking it to them they said nothing was wrong with it so I took it to a mechanic which found the problem. Greg coats said they would fix it. The mechanic said he gets a lot of cars from Greg coats and says that they knew it was going out when I purchased it well they claimed they fixed it but it's going out again 3 months later and now has an oil leak to go along with it, on top of that the brake booster went out 5 months after having it and would not help me fix it so I give them another shot and purchased a mustang and here we are having problems out of it as well. My uncle bought a car and 2 months later the heater core went out they would not fix. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM HERE STAY AWAY THEY ARE SCAMMERS

READ THE FINE PRINT! Was treated well at the dealership but be forewarned these folks have a satellite kill switch hooked to their vehicles. You're a little late they cut your vehicle off without warning. Wasn't told this from a salesman and spent 100$ on a battery that didn't need to be replaced! This would've been a deal breaker if I were told at the time of sales. Just seems a little shady.

They're very good at " Doctoring the appearance" of a vehicle to make it look very nice. Congrats to that department. If you plan on buying from them take the car to a mechanic of your choosing and have it checked out. I will almost guarantee you they will be able to tell you things about it you did not know and would probably find out in the long run.

Leased a low mileage Pontiac G5 almost three years ago and I was promised upon signing my paperwork that after 6 months of faithful on time payments they would assist me in refinancing. I am completely upside down on my car and I have never been late on a single payment. No bank, credit union, or lender will touch this loan because I was charged double the value of the car.
The employees took advantage of the situation when I was desperate and had no credit and made empty promises to help me in the future. The car is great, but I will be paying for another 3 years almost $12000 for a $5000 car because of the outrageous interest rate of 24% and there is no possibility of refinancing. Thanks Patrick.

If I could give zero stars I WOULD THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I purchased my first car from these people 10 months ago. Before picking it up they swapped the tires to a different set than what was on there when I test drove it, failed to mention it leaked a QUART OF OIL A WEEK, AND no one checked the brakes- which almost killed me a couple months later.
The BEST part is that the guy who sold me my car got FIRED for scamming people. He put 3 hard inquiries on my credit report (without my permission) before my loan got approved. at 23% interest! So now I'm stuck paying $10,000 for a $5,000 car. That doesn't run. The oil leak I mentioned earlier? It blew up the car. BUT because we took the insurance off of a car that doesn't run, they locked my account and refuse to let me make payments until the insurance is back.
They refuse to refinance my loan to help me lower my interest, they refuse to give me ANY of the paperwork I signed other than the purchasing agreement, and the refuse to be any help in general. If you want to pay $350/month for a car that doesn't run, this is the place for you!

DANGER! Be prepared for an unsafe vehicle! Test drive a 1996 Toyota Tacoma that they had on lot and gas peddle got suck while test driving! In rush hour traffic! VERY UNSAFE! Truck was nice but most definitely WAY overpriced! I would not consider doing business with them! Truck blue booked for 4995 in clean condition.so needless to say it was WAY OVERPRICED!

They have been so hard to work with, I pay my car payment weekly. I pay almost every time on time. I have called to asked if I can skip one week and double up on my payment the following week. Well come to find out that you can only do this 3 times a loan. WAIT WHAT THE HE** so in 4.5 years I can only skip a week 3 times, what kinda BS is this. I am not even asking for a month here its a darn week.
They are hard to work with, rude and they don't sell quality cars. Bought my car in 2016 and don't you know within months I had to have a new radiator, tires, compressor, battery over 2500 in total in 6 months of owning this car. Unreal I will never be back after my car is paid off I will take my business to a reputable dealer who does care about customers

Pestered the hell out of me when they needed something. When I needed something no calls/messages returned. Fuel tank was nearly empty and told gas would be put in. Either it wasn't or they only put in a few dollars. Salesman also told me extended warranty would be offered in finance signing. I was too busy checking out numbers and did not realize until a few days later that it was not mentioned and when I reached out to follow up, message was not returned.
Vehicle came from out of state and was in their possession long enough to have had it inspected per Kentucky requirements but they wait until sold then have buyer bring it in on Tuesdays. I live 30 minutes away so not just a short drive across town. Not to mention waiting until after paperwork was signed to tell me this. I am sure this is not going to matter to Tammy "The Terminator" because according to salesman they sell over 100 cars a month.

This is a horrible company. If I could give it anything less than one star I would because that's what they deserve. They can't give you a straight answer on anything because they don't know what they're talking about. Beryn Coats, who claims to be awesome with cars, doesn't know anything and advice given from him has only done us bad.
We got into a deal with them that ended horribly because they try to screw you over. Please do not buy from these people. Also, they LOVE to tell you how long they've been in business. 50 years means nothing with how they treat people.
