Absolutely horrible service. I have had to deal with Walker Acura twice for a flat tire. The first was after Hurricane Ida, so I tried to be understanding of that. They kept my car for two weeks to fix a flat tire. At this time I was displaced from the hurricane, but zero care or concern was given to that. They left me without a care and gave zero update on a time frame until several of my family members called and showed up and finally harassed someone to fix the tire.

I have since had a similar situation, called them because they are my closest dealer, and was told they had my tire in stock. I asked if I could pay for it over the phone and pick it up in the morning. They told me no. They then sold the tire to someone else and could not have cared less that they left me stranded YET AGAIN. Needless to say someone else in the area was able to sell the tire to me and I WILL NOT be giving any business to Walker in the future.

I ordered parts from this dealership and told the parts receptionist that I would pick the parts up when they were ready. The lady in parts instead had my parts shipped and when I called to check on them I was told they were on the truck to be delivered. After waiting over 3hrs outside for the parts truck, I then called back and was told the truck came and no one was there which I told her that was a lie I was not only there but outside and the rude lady replied it wasn't suppose to be delivered anyway oh well. The nerve of her as if my time wasn't valuable. I give her a rating of zero for her poor customer service. Not sure if I will do business with this location ever again.

The Acura service department on Veterans is terrible. To be servicing luxury vehicles their competence is third world. They have a constantly revolving door of service department personnel and they have no consideration for how much of your time they waste. Their communication is absolutely the worst. I have to find them if I want to learn of progress or timing on my vehicle. They grab time estimates out of the air. I'm on my third Acura, but I can't take it anymore.

This dealership is horrible. Especially the employee SHANNON STUCKE. She is supposedly over service at this dealership but is clearly incompetent, unprofessional and lacks all form courtesy. To provide a description of my issue my vehicle that was purchased from WALKER ACURA that was still under warranty would turn on without pressing the ignition switch.

I brought it in to the dealership in October and this is where my problems began. Firstly, I requested a loaner and was told none would be provided because my issue wasn't serious. Well after a week and my vehicle was still not in my possession I had to beg to get a loaner vehicle. I was informed while an ignition switch was replaced there was an issue that required a body control module (BCM) that was not in stock but was ordered on critical back order and should arrive in November.

Well November turned into December and this turned into January. After reaching out in January I was informed that the part was still unavailable. My partner gave them a call and after being on hold for 30 minutes decided to drive to the dealership. 20 minutes later my partner arrived and was still placed on hold. My partner spoke with the service manager who informed her the part needed to be manufacturer and gave my partner no date. Furthermore, my partner was informed that that were lucky to even be in a loaner.

During this time no date was provided for arrival of the BCM. Phone calls and effort was made on our end and miraculously the part showed up 2 days later. The entire service department could not explain where this part appeared from and I requested after investigating to speak with SHANNON STUCKE. Well shannon came down to the first level but completely ignored us.

She went outside several times, refused to make eye contact in the 10 different times she walked past us and even decided the printer paper she retrieved was more important than talking to us. Hilariously, I wanted assurance that my vehicle would be properly serviced and that communication for customers would improved. But as the coward she was she decided icing us out was the best solution.

After leaving the dealership on my way home my vehicle shut off completely. I was very fortunate this happened at a red light and we were able to avoid serious injury but this Acura dealership is terrible. If you purchase a vehicle from then you will not receive adequate customer service so this is fair warning Reconsider your purchase because no one there cares about you.

The service department rocks, especially my service advisor Trent. He exceeded my expectations in every way possible. From the moment I walked through the door he was extremely courteous and helpful. Making sure all of my needs are taken care of. Any questions I had were answered in a way I could understand even though I'm less than knowledgeable about "car repairs", I understood just what needed to be done.

Out of all the car dealerships I've ever been to Mr. Trent is by far the most professional and also most knowledgeable on the repairs I needed done to my vehicle. I have and will continue to recommend my friends and family to come Walker Acura to get their vehicles serviced and to ask for Mr. Trent, they will not be disappointed! I was gifted an acura for my birthday. I had no clue about it at all. I took it for an oil change a year ago and met with Trent Jourdan. He was so awesome, he explained what services I had on the car, and what I needed to do. I got my oil change and was a happy camper. Fast forward a year later and Trent is still the same amazing person he was on day one. He always makes sure I u derstand what is going on with my car, how I may prevent it or finds the easiest resolution for me.

Called 9 times for service manager, Brad. On the 10th attempt I left a message. It has been 2 days and still no return call. Main problem, my son's car battery was bad. Called on a Friday morning explained the battery situation. Informed that the battery was still in prorated warranty. Was told an appointment was needed and it would not be until Tuesday morning.

So for 4+ days between school, work(late nights), etc my son needed to jump start his car almost every time. Luckily he was able to borrow a jump start pack as it wasn't always possible to use battery cables. Finally Tuesday comes by, was told battery tested good. I explained why it did and to check it again after a short period. Sure enough the battery failed the test and the battery needed to be replaced.

So hopefully the GSM and GM see this. Please excuse me when I say, your service department needs improvement and training. How can you shrug off a customer that has a bad battery, of which was purchased at your dealership? How can you have a member of management not stay in touch with a customer that is asking for a return call? Is he leading your advisors with bad examples?

My Acura was purchased new here 9 years ago. During this time period I have seen variation in the service department when coming in for maintenance, but they have hit a new low. I love my car, and have been considering buying a new model of the same vehicle- however, the service department is so bad right now I can't stomach the idea of being stuck to this dealership for the lifetime of another vehicle.

It took over 5 messages (all unanswered) and 10 phone calls to get my latest oil change appointment. I dropped my car off at 10 am, and when I left at 1030 it was still sitting in the drop-off bay, not being worked on. Here I am, 3 hours later for a simple oil change- no call or update. I called and left messages for the service department- no answer or call back. They need some serious change-ups in this service department before more customers like me are lost.

This dealership is the worst. They false offer to customers. I just had the worst experience with Aaron and chris, both very unprofessional and argued with me on what they offered me for my trade in they do not care about their customers or the quality of what they are selling! Please take your business elsewhere so you can get a true quality quote with people who stand behind their word on their offers!

Also I was never even offered to test drive the MDX I was looking at or anything! They changed the price of the offer within a week and had so many excuses for everything and added so much info that was never discussed with me in the beginning. I also already had my financing ready I was just there to pick out my car. I do know why this dealership has a rating of 2.0! Save your time and take your money elsewhere!

Have agreed to purchase a vehicle. There took a $1000 deposit and a completes credit app and then sold the car the 2 days before the agrred upon delivery date.

Alright. I'm not much of a bad review type of person. But I need to let other people know about what happened with my car. Baseline: I would NOT trust this dealership to look out for you. I have an older car, and I came in to get it inspected before I went on a road trip- just to be safe! Naturally, there were a few things wrong with my car- and I certainly got a substantial list of things that needed to be fixed.

I expected this. But that's not the issue. The issue is: after inquiring (politely) about what was absolutely crucial for me to get done in order for my car to be able to preform correctly for a road trip, I did NOT get an honest or good recommendation. Cut to: me being stranded in Mississippi with an over heating engine and a coolant leak. This issue was not mentioned to me as being critical. Now, I left for my trip just days after visiting the dealership! So, it wasn't like some long period of time in between where my car could have gotten more damage. Whatever. C'est la vie and what not- I can't put all the blame on a probably over worked and under payed set of people- but I need to let YOU know, especially those of you with OLDER cars like me- Watch out.

It does not seem like most of these people will try more than the base minimum to make sure you're going to be SAFE. I get it- but still. It SUCKS dealing with an over heating engine when you have no idea what the issue is. Okay that's all. Just maybe seek a second opinion if you come here.

I just purchased an acura from another location. My wife wanted to get it inspected just to confirm everything was in working order. The inspection was completed and then I was offered a complimentary car wash. This was a great experience for my 1st time at the dealership!

Really bad customer service. Charged for a minimal diagnostic fee on something that would have been cheaper to fix in any other Acura service department that I've been in other states. Took many hours with no updates. Check out took forever due to the unprofessionalism and mismanagement.

If there was zero stars this place would get it. I began shopping for my Acura here and ended up getting it from Houston because of the rudeness of the salesman. WHY I thought Service would be different is BEYOND me! Today i am here for oil change and asked if they could change my lightbulb for tail light. 75.00 for first half hour. REALLY? I say this EVERY SINGLE TIME I COME HERE!

I am the stupid one.on every visit either they lied and said I needed something that I had just had done or charged me for something and didn't do it. HOW they stay in business is beyond me. if I return my bad. Will not even change a lightbulb for less than $75.00! Why I thought they'd change is beyond me. GOOD LUCK if you come here, I've never heard of anyone with a good experience and yet I keep thinking something will change. NOT AT ALL! Denise Charters

Walker Acura service is deplorable. I have yet to have a successful trouble free service there. No one ever called to inform me about any updates on my car. I called 5x and wasn't helped until the fifth time. That's when I was informed that although I had an appointment for 10:00 am on 10/08 for a diagnostic, my car was not service yet because the person who checked me in left and no one had gave the technician my ticket. So, at 4:30 on 10/09 more than 24 hours later no one had yet seen my car.

I didn't get my car back until 10/10 when my husband decided to drive over after work because we still had not received and updates. All to find out that the technician could not find the reason the check engine light was coming on. The only reason Walker Acura is in business is because it's the only Acura dealership in New Orleans. Everyone should be retrained and the management need to take serious that fact that the dealership only has 2stars online by Costumers.

No one takes the costumers complaints seriously although we are spending thousands of dollar with this company. Y'all should be ashamed of the "non service department" and I will now be going to the dealership in Baton Rouge. I will never buy another Acura because I can not deal with the incompetence here.

I have come here multiple times and have terrible customer service. Please please please do yourself a favor and make the 50 minute drive to Acura of Baton Rouge! Amazing dealership extremely attentive and expanded and remodeled. There's absolutely no comparison between them.

Just to give an update, the service is still total garbage. I bought a 2016 ILX lease turn in from a local Honda dealership exactly two months ago. All of a sudden I'm having an issue with the car starting. I bring it to Walker Acura as it is the only local dealership, and the car is still under bumper to bumper warranty. The service man (Steve) initially tells me husband they have no loaners but I'm being put on a "list".

He also tells my husband it will be exactly a WEEK before they can even look at the car. I called today, a week later, since we have heard nothing since dropping the car off. Patrick the service manager tells me their loaners are ONLY for people who bought directly from their dealership, and he still hasn't looked at my car. Let me give this advice CALL THE CORPORATE 1-800 number!

They were APPALLED to hear that this was going on. I have a case manager that will be handling this situation from now one. Hopefully I will be in a loaner or rental soon and will keep everyone posted. But please everyone report your issue to corporate and the Better Business Bureau as they have no idea this is going on. Walker Acura is a disgrace to the Acura name.

Do not buy from this dealer. The service is horrible and they are not an honest dealership. They make up issues with service to increase your cost and you are always stuck there for hours, even for simple repairs. You should stay away from buying Honda or Acura as they do not stand behind their product. My dashboard cracked due to poor design of the passenger air bag (Acura TL) and there are websites with many complaints of similar issues and Walker nor Acura will assist due to being out of warranty.

From October 17, 2018 Avoid this service dept. It's now six hours I've been waiting for three simple repairs. I was told they would take about an hour and a half initially. When I showed up for my 10:30 appointment, they first tried to tell me they would have to keep it overnight. I convinced another service advisor who seemed more in tune to get it in today.

Maybe I'm being punished. The three "simple repairs" are now running close to a thousand dollars. Breakdown: 1. Replace headlamp bulb (1) (they told me it took 2 techs).$310.13 2. Repair loose molding strip at bottom edge of windshield.$257.30 3. Replace one (1) Tire pressure monitor sensor.$243.38 With misc charges and tax -- Total.$902.11 When I spoke to the Maintenance supervisor, he was aware of the problem - said he was going to find out why it took six hours to turn out two hours of work.

I would like to know why it cost almost $1000 for what should have been a third of that. For the record, we bought the car there, we've been in many times for service and we're paying for the repairs (no warranty). The waiting area is not a place to spend six hours. It has no vending machines and is cold. The Wifi doesn't work. The only status updates I've had are when I've asked. Conversations I've overheard from the service advisors among themselves and with other customers tell me I don't ever want to come back here again. I just want out.

I brought my car in on August 1st for a simple spare tire package, and the courtesy car wash. The spare tire kit and labor were fine. Upon them driving my car ( garage kept car ) to me I noticed a scrape down to the paint over right front fender, then walked around the car to find almost identical scrape down to the metal on rear driver fender!. I am particular and inspect my car daily as I try to park it far away etc.

When service advisor John Lucas and I looked and I touched these spots the wrinkle of paint where it had been scraped came off on my finger indicating it was fresh. He went and got sales manager who agreed this looked fresh and confirmed they would Have both of these spots complimentary fixed through Jay's body shop! As of today August 3,2018 I have not had any call back and do not have anything in writing that this will be fixed by the dealership!

More importantly when you are paying 50,000 plus for a car, you expect excellent service just like the quality of the Acura name. To have someone working at the dealership ( all levels down the person driving the car or washing the car ) that does not care about customer service is a misrepresentation of what Acura brand prides themselves on. I will attach pictures and will be sending this message on the corporate Acura headquarters!

If this happened to me on my second visit ever with service at this dealership I wonder how often these careless errors or lack of concern of someone else property happen at Walker Acura! I paid for a certain level of quality in purchasing a car and I expect that same level of high quality with service at Walker Acura!

Visiting from out of town the facility was able to get us in right away and made us feel very welcome. Although we waited to fix our problem until back home they fixed the problem temporarily free of charge. The waiting area was very well kept and we'll stocked with drinks and snacks. Staff very friendly.
