My review is about my experience I had going in here hoping to buy a new vehicle. My sales man who was very nice and friendly was not there. Without going into every detail I am just gone say what this Larry Miller location needs to improve on and why my rating is so low. - When someone comes to your business don't make them wait and then refusing the service just because original sales man had to go home. - Water is not that expensive and it's hot out here waiting in the sun even inside your building with your doors wide open. - If you can't do simple things like give someone an estimate on their vehicle then what is the point. - I didn't come to your location desperately looking to buy and trade my vehicle.

I didn't buy nor will i ever from LHMSubaru. When you finally gave me an estimate you gave me 15000$ below low book. Not only that you treated me unprofessionally you wanted to buy my vehicle so that you can make another 20000$ Plus all The financing interest you make money on top of selling me the new Subaru. Do you dealers honestly still look at us as stupid?

We know you make money on top of the financing interest rate each time banks finance any vehicle then money you make on our cars and on top whatever vehicle you sale us. When is it enough for you guys. We can't even post our own cars on Craigslist without dealers wanting to buy and low bowl us! Larry H Miller has no loyalty appreciation what's so ever!

It is the one company here in Idaho I will never buy from them again. I have bought 6 new vehicles each 3 years. Idaho Dealers only appreciate you once they make that sale. Your google signs everywhere in your store are not the 5 stars I have ever experienced with LHM. I will post my review on google too.

Every time I come here (which has been way too often lately with my old car) I am always greeted and talked to throughout the entire process respectfully. I have never felt like I am being talked down to or taken advantage of since I'm a female, like I have in other shops. I appreciate how timely they are, and quick they are to get a diagnosis of what is going on. Super thankful for this dealership and all the awesome employees!

Best car buying experience ever! I felt valued and respected every step of the way. I never felt pressured to buy and I felt zero stress throughout the transaction. I will be a lifelong customer of Larry Miller Subaru. Thank you Neil, Cody, and Ron for making me feel like a part of the family.

Loved loved working with Peter Webster here. Super upbeat guy and knowledgeable. He gave us a great experience. We loved the 2019 Outback but ended up going a different direction. The only negative part of the experience was when we got to financing. The business manager there was not the best and a little rude towards us and his employees when we decided we wanted to sleep on the decision.

I want to take a moment and thank Keith Freeman and the Larry Miller service department for the amazing service I received today. It was the first time that I have used the service department. I went in for a quick lube and tire change and was in and out in less than one hour without an appointment being scheduled. Keith checked in on me while I was waiting and I really appreciated his energy and enthusiasm. I will be using and referring everyone I know to Keith and your Service department. Thank you for the excellent service. Preston

The sales people I worked with were open and honest and worked hard to get me the deal that worked for me. Everyone was helpful and friendly and I didn't feel like I was being hounded. When they could have easily sold the car to someone else within a day or two they worked with me for a few days to get me the car that I wanted. I would recommend Larry H. Miller Subaru.

I was so impressed with the Xpress drive up oil change option. It was fast and efficient and my tires rotated, and I was out of there in 20 minutes. And the staff was very efficient and friendly. Loved using the little dog park and seeing your veggie garden as an added bonus to the wait!

I recently started using Larry H Miller Subaru after multiple terrible experiences with treasure valley Subaru. I've used Larry h Miller Subaru twice now and they have been wonderful both times. Extremely efficient and very reasonably priced. Their team is also very friendly.

This was the most pleasurable experience I have had buying a car in my many years of driving and purchasing vehicles. Kris Klein is an outstanding car salesman. Very kind and patient with people that are somewhat limited with computer skills! Kris went the extra mile for me by allowing me to call him on his personal cell phone throughout the time that I was purchasing the vehicle and then the after service care was wonderful and really not expected! Subaru should be very thankful to have such a wonderful employee. And you may contact me at anytime to ask me questions about my experience! Janet Graf

10/10 for us! Everyone was so sweet and not pushy at all. We actually came here back in 2019 and weren't ready for a new car yet and didn't feel ashamed on not following through like other dealers in our past. Because of that- we wanted to come back and get our first brand new car from them. Our experience was. Easy. Comfortable. And honestly FUN!

Our dealer 'Joe' made it all happen for us and after we left, we felt like we gained even a friend throughout the process. If it wasn't for him- we honestly wouldn't have been so confident in our choice. Thank you Subaru of Boise!

Editing my review after the Manager Matt reached out to me to make things right. While I still think $160 an hour for labor is too much, they did do good work on my car. I do recommend bringing your vehicle here if you want good work done and are willing to pay a little more.

I was trying to buy a used car from them. They offered me money for my trade in and left me with a $5,800 difference which I thought was too big at the time. One of the managers asked if $500 would make any difference and I said no. I crunched numbers at home and told them the next day that I would do the deal with $500 off that they made yesterday.

The manager who we were negotiating with told me that "he said that but it wasn't really an offer and were just asking if it made a difference". Give me a break! So I moved over $5000 and they reneged on their offer and moved zero. In addition they told me that their used car manager was upset at them for the offer they made on my car but yesterday they told me that their used car manager is the one who would appraise it and make the offer.

I told them that and they said, "oh, well he was the one who appraised it". Now the story changed again and it really wasn't him. Here is a thought, just tell the truth and it won't be so hard to keep the story straight!

My first brand-new car purchase was a SEVERE disappointment through Subaru. I bought a 2015 Forester in October 2014 intending to drive the car for 8 years, then trade in (or sell) and get another new one. Over the years, the engine had to be replaced, and transmission needed major work, all due to recalls or class-action lawsuits against Subaru. The check engine light has come on numerous times and I've taken it to the dealership, but they have not been able to permanently fix it. 2 years ago, the air conditioning went out, and the dealership estimated that a new compressor would cost $3,000.

My husband googled the problem, and found that a $25 clutch fixed it completely. So, fast forward to 2022 and we want to sell the car. Well, the car looks very bad on CarFax because NONE of the recall (forced) work is listed (they have a deal to keep it off so that the dealerships do not look bad---WHAT?!?!), and EVERY time I took the car in for the check engine light is listed on CarFax.

Therefore the resale value is very low. Why am I being punished for their bad product? We met with the sales manager at Larry Miller, who happens to be the same person that sold us the car, and he is not willing to work with us at all (he said that they "need to make money, too"--in other words, we pay for Subaru's problems, not them). I've had this car into the dealership many times over the years, and I am SO over it.

Stay away from Subaru, because they apparently can't build a car with an engine or transmission that lasts, and stay away from the Larry Miller dealerships, because they do not back their products (other than REQUIRED recall or forced work). I will return to Toyota, where I am treated better and I bought a used Corolla that I drove over 200,000 miles with no major problems. This was my first and last Subaru product.

Drove my Outback right in, and the friendly service staff quickly started my peaceful and comforting service experience. My oil change was completed in less than 30 minutes! Thanks Trenity and all the service staff! Love the automatic doors!

We tried to do business with Larry Miller Subaru but they apparently did not want to sell us a new car. The sales manager was the only person in the country that actually said that used car prices were down and inventories were up. The offer they made for our trade was ridiculous. We did buy a new vehicle from Twin Falls Subaru and they were fair, honest, and nice.

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO BE SERVICED. Wife brought our truck in to be serviced after calling last week to confirm they could do it. As soon as my wife shows up the girl working glares at her and asks why she is there. My wife explains only for this girl to continue to roll her eyes and start making excuses as to why they can't service our truck.

My wife tells her she called last week and was told everything needed to complete the service is on hand. They have my wife pull the truck in, not guiding her they close the door on the back of our truck. Once again the girl glares at my wife, believing its her fault. Needless to say my wife leaves frustrated. When she calls to speak to the manager, his excuse is "its possible she is having a bad day".

Sad part is we purchased a brand new Forester from them last year, and up to this point service was ok. Clearly that is not the case anymore. Too many other places in the valley to take your vehicle that provide great customer service, avoid this place.

Bought a 93 Subaru months back from a private party. Wanted it to get checked out and inspected to see what it all needed. Came here with high hopes only to have been let down. The service advisor was ok, . but could've been more friendly since it is his job to be friendly and professional. So onto the job of the technician, he wasn't very thorough or specific in any of his paperwork of what my car needed.

I feel as I had gotten ripped off. I should've just went with the free inspection. However, what I did pay was a small price compared to most ppl who buy a car there, and have to keep going back. This dealership is just as bad as Dennis Dillon dealership. just shitty workers and people, with shitty work ethic. I'd give this place no "stars" but I had to in order to post this review.

In my 60+ years, I've had my share of cars and the car buying experience. The majority of it feeling like I should have my own office, breaks and lunch while trying to buy a car within 8 hours. Heard, "Let me talk to my manager." so many times, I dreaded having to get a new car. Bought & leased Hondas most of the time, but since moving to Idaho I wanted an all-wheel car this time.

Where ever I live, I pay attention to cars on the road, especially older ones. Consistently, I'd see Hondas, Toyotas and Subarus. Ford trucks, too, but just not in the market for one. Out here, I zeroed in on Subaru - the Impreza and Crosstrek in particular. Concerned about the low profile of the Impreza during rain/snow season, so Crosstrek was it. Also, the Crosstrek tires are monitored independently so you can drive in deep snow more efficiently.

Reading other reviews here, I gotta say, I went into the showroom and waited for someone to approach - no one did. I had to find a salesperson. Almost walked out. Yes, I realize I gave 5-stars. It was because of my salesperson, Kyle Boline and finance manager, Aidan. Both took their time to answer questions, give a ton of information, were professional and made an effort to keep the whole process to 2-1/2 hours.

I can talk a lot, so it probably would of been faster than that. Originally had put a deposit down for an Impreza (cars are limited right now with the lack of computer chips). While waiting for it to ship in, I asked if I could switch it to a Crosstrek. I LOVE this car. Don't drive that much, so plan to keep it 10 years or more. Starlink comes with the car and paid for more coverage - takes the place of AAA, and with the security features it reduces car insurance premiums. Also, there are car features that are accessible by phone. My car buying experience is only the second time in my life that I would actually recommend a dealer and salesperson. Thanks you guys, me and my dog love our ride.

Such a great experience! Derek helped me out with my first ever car purchase and it couldn't have been better! He even took us to get our first tank of gas! Couldn't recommend Derek or Larry H. Miller Subaru enough!

Needed basic service for my 2019 Outback. Noticed a leak on my garage floor. Came in for express service. Got O&F and their "checklist". Said they could not find a leak. Long story short; cracked radiator. Ordered parts and so far 5 days later, only 1 of 3 parts shipped in. Radiator due to cracked weld so covered under warranty. My issue is the apathy and incompetence of the service department.

They said they checked the battery. When I open the hood, both battery terminals are caked in green globs of acid leaks. How exactly did you "check" the battery with that in place and not notice or say anything since Outbacks are having battery issues that will eventually lead to a recall? Anyway, find someplace else to service your vehicle unless it's a warranty issue. This is the land of the living "I don't care about service".

Ask for Steve. He makes you forget all the negative cliches about car salesmen. Can't speak to the rest of the sales people but there's a guy named Eric who is exactly what you think of when you think of a car salesman. Zero customer service. Just wants to hammer home the deal so he can make as much money off you as possible. Great dealerships - ask for Steve. If they give you Eric, tell them you'll wait until Steve can help you.

Our company had an excellent experience working with Tara at the dealership! She was very accommodating for our car needs for a local photo shoot project and went above and beyond to make sure the Subaru had the right features. Tara's flexibility also made it easier for us to work with her. Definitely recommend Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise!

This is another typical dealership that will treat you like you are stupid and try to rip you off. There's clearly a reason so many people are complaining. I was considering an Ascent and they wouldn't even negotiate the price at all. I've never seen a dealership that wouldn't negotiate and yes you can negotiate on a lease, I've had several.

The manager didn't even want to talk to me. So I went and got a great SUV from another dealership that was willing to negotiate. I'm glad Larry Miller didn't get money from me. Now I'm sure someone from this dealership will leave some response saying how great they are, how this couldn't have happened, that I must be wrong, and try to sound like they care when they really don't. Don't bother reaching out to me, I'll never be back.

I usually buy a new car every year. All car buying experiences are unpleasant. This is the least unpleasant I've found here in the boise area. They have a nice showroom and service area. They want to do a good job with the sales and finance department because Subaru sends out surveys at the end of the car buying experience and if you aren't giving out perfect scores they get dinged.

Nice huge and clean restrooms by the service area in the rear. Free WiFi. Pre Covid they had free coffee pods and bottled water. Now they just have some vending machines. Ample free parking in the dealership lot. Just worked with Jeff on my girlfriends dads new 2020 Subaru Forester purchase this month. He's young, really new, but super nice and friendly. A pleasure to work with. See if you can get him when you go there.

SCAMMERS! We bought a Subaru from them a few years ago, and got the comprehensive extended warranty for an additional $2500+. Now we need some work done, only to discover that the warranty is ONLY GOOD at Larry Miller, even though we have a Subaru dealer much nearer. I wouldn't recommend buying even a skateboard from Larry Miller!

I was very excited to look into a new Subaru. The sales person that contacted me was difficult. I stated that I hate buying a car more than just about anything else. I want a straight forward deal and don't want to sit there for hours. He said that's what it takes. I said my husband could come in and do all all that and I would come sign when the deal was done.

His response was no you will sit here as long as it takes otherwise I was wasting his time! He said there might be questions. I said they could call and I could provide any answers, send any documents, etc. He said no. We have decided to keep our current vehicle and not bother with "wasting" his time. I'm glad they are so incredibly busy they can toss inconvenient customers aside.

Took my car in for oil change and had them changes some bulbs and the cabin air filter. Charged me $90 in labor. Thanks for the price gouging. Kind of sad they have to stick it to you so bad. Charged labor on each bulb and almost $30 for cabin filter. Joke Yes

Guys if you want to sell cars don't just stand in the showroom talking to each other. I stood outside for 20 minutes standing by a car I was wanting to test drive. Nobody came out to help me. Went inside the showroom and four associates were just talking to each other. Could not even make eye contact with any of them. Looks like I'll be driving out to Team Subaru in Nampa.

Edits: removed irrelevant facts, the dealership called to explain some things. Raised review one star. Set an appointment and dropped off car for appointment. "This is going to take 3 and a half weeks." Two weeks later I cal to check in, "we'll call you back with a time." Next day I call again, "we'll call you back with a time." Third times a charm. "We're setting you up with a different manager." different manager calls me back. "We'll have your car in a week." Two days later I receive a text message at 6:01 pm. "Your car is ready to pick up today." Online the dealership is listed as open until 8 pm.

So I get a ride out. Closed at 6. I was there at 6:30. Pretty good time from central bench to this dealership in the sticks during the waning moments of rush. I mentioned the 6:01 pm exactly because I have the text signature stamp and the exact language saying my car is ready to be picked up TODAY. Showroom floor is open until 8, not service center.

When checking out, they let me know they didn't charge me for the standard loaner car that I was not offered and did not receive. Thanks. Then they washed my car, that was nice. One final thought: the service center was extremely busy. It was well staffed but I still had to wait 30 min before I was addressed.

We needed to come in here to get an oil change on a Saturday. Not only were they super friendly, they were quick! Even with a lobby full of customers, the wait didn't seem too long. Maybe that is because their waiting area is awesome! They have big screen TVs with comfy chairs and a bar top to work on laptops. They have recycle boxes everywhere, which is a nice touch and important to me.

They also have a comfy private area for moms (and dads) with babies for nursing or changing. I enjoyed a complimentary coffee while we waited. Thank you for being a reliable customer focused company!
