Carriage Traders

My fiance and I traded in one of our vehicles for a 2017 Ram 2500. Ranita and Kevin were great. They made what we thought was the impossible happen and they did it in less than 24 hours. Very impressive. Ranita listened to what we wanted and she made it happen, she didn't try to stick us in something we didn't want just to make a sale like so many places do. We will recommend her to anyone and will continue to do business with her when we are in the market for another vehicle.

Came in this Friday evening at 430pm, to inquire about a vehicle. Online, it claims that they're open till 500pm. Watched a black truck speed out of the lot and when we walked to the door, it was locked and all lights were off. They were clearly closed. Luckily, Garvey was still open and they were able help me quickly get into my new car. Should change your hours if you aren't actually open till 500pm to help customers. Will not be back.

I am so happy with my experience buying a used vehicle at Carriage Traders. I needed a vehicle immediately and didn't even know where to begin. My boyfriend suggested Carriage Traders. We walked in one evening and were so impressed with how easy the process was here. We sat down with Steve Sax, and he listened to my situation and my finance range, and quickly came up with several great options that suited me.

I test drove a 2016 Hyundai Elantra that I was very excited about, although not quite sure if I'd be able to swing it financially. That's where Kevin Collins came in, and did whatever he did to score me an incredible finance plan that I could actually afford and got me an interest rate that was far lower than I expected to qualify for. Never at any point did I feel pressured into anything.

These guys were super efficient and helpful. They took care of getting my plates and insurance switched over swiftly and the whole process was so easy and smooth. I drove home in a vehicle that suited me perfectly within just a couple days of walking in. They took great care of me. Highly recommend!

I found carriage traders by accident, i actually never heard of them before. I was surprised to learn they are a family business who have been around quite a while. I was searching for cars because I hated the one I was driving. I came across one on their site that checked almost all my boxes. So I made an appointment to go check out the car. When I arrived I was greeted immediately by friendly staff and introduced to who would be my sales person, Ranita.

Immediately I liked her. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, honest with me, and genuinely concerned for my dislike of my current ride. The car I wanted was not there when I arrived for my appointment, it has been given to a customer as a loaner. I really had my heart set on that one, so they went and got it for me. Meanwhile Ranita showed me other vehicles while we were waiting, she was was so helpful and patient with me while I looked at many different cars, she stood out in the parking lot with me when it was -6 degrees.

Never once tried to push me into buying anything, just to get me in something and make her $, she didn't treat me like a dollar sign, she is very personable, and it felt like we had been friends for years. Ranita had a knowledge about every model that I looked at and answered all my questions. Ultimately I choose and purchased the original car I had gone there for. Toyota RAV4.

They got me approved and I drove my new car home that same day. Ranita even stayed well past her quitting time while I transferred all my stuff from my trade into my new car. She was Amazing! The whole experience was pleasant from start to finish. This is how buying a a car should be. I have never before bought a car with such ease, I love my new ( used) car and I found my new go- to dealership, Carriage Traders!

After several places looking for a vehicle to replace the one that was totaled in an accident, we decided to stop into Carriage Traders! We were helped by Ranita, I told her our situation, talk her exactly what I wanted, we went to look at the newer cars that weren't on the lot yet! That's were I found our car! With every feature that I was looking for!

It took a long time to finally get our van due to insurance companies! She was able to hold the van for us and absolutely no pressure to buy the whole time! Purchased the extended warranty from them so any covered repairs would be $0 out of my pocket! Don't hesitate, go see Ranita at carriage traders today! You won't regret it!

Bought a 2016 Jeep Compass, minute it rolled off the lot it had issues. Thank god I bought the extended warranty, at least I thought. The service center gives you the run around, they will promise you that if your car breaks down that they will give you a "loaner". Unfortunately the loaners were never available. The sales woman named Carol told us the car was never in an accident, and that it had a single owner, the truth was the car had multiple owners and was in a major accident. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

My car lasted less than a year, had to trade it in and roll the remainder amount over to the next car, and had to drop 5000 that I didn't have. Don't let the great deal lure you in, because the sales team will lie through their teeth to sell you a car.

We bought a Honda HRV from Emily and we are very pleased. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. She took wonderful care of us and made sure buying our car was easy and effortless. So easy that we decided to buy a second car from Emily! And have not been disappointed!

Great experience at Carriage Traders. The management, salesman, business office, everyone was very professional and friendly! Gave me a great deal on a vehicle I've been searching for. It was a quick and easy process!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE SCAMMERS! My husband and I purchased a car less than a year ago for our son to get back and forth to school (suny) and work. We received a call on the 20th our son was stranded on the side of the road. He heard a loud noise and the car wouldn't run. My husband had it towed to carriage traiders as that's where we bought it.

After inspection they told my husband that a rod had blown through the back of the engine. They told him that because he hasn't brought it back in to them to be serviced it wasn't covered. My husband told them that he had serviced it himself (changed the oil) and asked about the extended warranty we purchased. After a lot of back and forth he got the number for the warranty company and was told that because he changed the oil himself that the warranty was void.

Now we have a car that is worthless that I am still making payments on. I still owe $8000 on it. To top it off I'm now being told that I can't even take it off the road or drop the full coverage insurance until it is paid off. They should be ashamed of themselves! Taking advantage of people like this. We all know this didn't happen because my husband changed the oil. They don't care though they don't have to pay out the money. That's all they care about. I'm so sick over this! Merry Christmas to us right!

I showed up to Carriage Traders with pages of notes and research of small SUVs in the area that would fit my budget and feature checklist. This place had at least one of every single model I was interested in, so really it became a one stop shop! I sat and drove a couple of the models I THOUGHT I liked, and Ranita my salesperson suggested I try one that wasn't on my radar. Turns out, she was right! I drove away in my new Ford Edge that weekend!

Was nice they did a great job getting me the deal that worked for me, all that being said I paid over 20k for a car that I'm now taking to a dealer for hopefully an easy/cheap fix. my warranty isn't effective yet and I'm having issues. here's hoping it's not a major issue after 200 miles in my new car. I'll def post another update after the brands dealership tells me what's up with my car.no sour grapes here just not sure how you can spend over 20 grand and have no guarantee for at least a few thousand trouble free miles these days.

Just want to say thank you so much carriage trader's! It's been a very long time since I bought a car on my own and with Jared's help it was quick and easy! He was so helpful and I love my new car! I visited Romeo auto outlet on quaker road with my husband Wayne last Wednesday. I was looking for a vehicle and found them to have a nice selection to choose from. With the help of salesman Jamie Havens we were able to purchase one. He was very attentive to our needs as we are retired. He was able to get us into a 2015 Hyundai Tucson at a great price. I absolutely love it. We picked it up the next day and I am happy knowing I have a reliable car for years to come.

Wonderful! They were the only dealership that helped me. I'm very satisfied and happy with the deal.

"Steer clear." I bought a car from them 3 years ago in very desperate need of a car after college, knowing little to nothing about car values, warranties etc as this was my first car buying experience. The sales process was very smooth and low pressure, however everything after that was downhill. After purchasing my check engine light came on after a couple months. Ended up being a fuse.

After that came replacement of the caliper and rotors on the rear. Then my passenger coil snapped and ripped into my tire which, the coil was covered under my warranty, they would not replace the tire. A couple months after that I had to replace the same rotors. And then they told me a spark plug broke off and fell into the piston. You cannot break a spark plug without touching it, and I did not bring the car in for this issue.

I was told I needed to pay for it. I did. 1.5 years after the coil was replaced it snapped again, I took it to a different shop and was told that there's no way a NEW coil would snap after 1.5 due to rust. I paid $2000 for a warranty and they didn't put new parts on my car - they used old ones which failed. My mechanic also told me that I paid about $4,000 more than the car was worth.

In addition, 3 years after buying the car I've replaced the rotors and caliper on the rear twice. 2 of the same Snapped coils. I feel dialed my this dealership and felt that my lack of knowledge in the car buying and car servicing processes were taken advantage of and I would not recommend this place to anybody desperate for a car and little knowledge of how to stand up for yourself.

Just purchased a new 2017 GMC Canyon SLT. Beautiful truck, great price. My wife is the daily driver and she can't say enough about the comfort of the front seats and smooth ride. But what made the difference for us to buy from Romeo was the service we received when at the dealership. Taylor DeGeorge was the salesperson. It was like talking to my brother. Taylor was 'No pressure', 'no nonsense' and a person I would hang out with personally. Taylor made a major purchase for me and my wife EASY.

We went to several dealerships (Honda, Nissan and Ford) in the Kingston / Ulster area and will definitely be a long term customer at Romeo, mostly due to Taylor. Very disappointed. The morning after I purchased my vehicle my car alerted my tire needed air. I figured the car had been sitting so just needed air. This happened again a few days later. I thought maybe I just didn't put enough air in the tire, didn't want to put too much air. Christmas morning needed air. Finally figured that something must not be right. Woke up to completely flat tire.

According to Carriage Traders, I have road side and car is under warranty. I called them and instead of helping me, they insulted me! I was told, "you have to bring us the car. How do we know you didn't run over a curb". After a very angry call, I knew they weren't going to help me. Called my own road side assistance from my insurance. I brought the tire to be checked and they said I DID NOTHING TO THE TIRE! There must have been a faulty plug, something creating a very slow leak. Carriage Traders DOES NOT stand behind their vehicles or warranty!
