Buying an auto warranty is buying a service contract that guarantees the warranty company will pay for expensive repairs and not you. It's also not very surprising that car repairs are expensive, and the newer and more sophisticated cars are becoming increasingly more expensive to fix. The average cost to repair an air conditioning system for example is $825. One covered repair can pay for the entire warranty!

Best car buying experience I've ever had. And I've bought quite a few cars. Worked with Greg. Fair prices. Very low dealer fees. Most dealerships hammer you in fees. Not this one. Loved the vibe of the place. Highly recommended.

Bought a Mini van from them a few months ago. All was great to start. A couple weeks go by and the back AC unit stops working. I contact them and speak to Greg the assistant manager. He says since we have a 90 day warranty to take call their shop and schedule and appt to have it looked at. AC does not work for 3-4 days. Then I take it in after they pull it all apart working again, they banged on motor to make it go.

So good for another week, then stops again. Take it in again and same problem, they pull apart bang it around and starts again. Fast forward to today OCTOBER 12. I take it in, thinking they should honor warranty as it has not worked for another week and a half and this was something that has been going on for a few months now. I got hit with a $387 bill for the motor and the labor.

This shop is 30 miles from my home why would I have brought it here if warranty was not going to apply since this has been going on since right after we buy it. I called Greg and he speaks to sales manager Chris and guess who had to pay the bill. ME. The customer who has been trying to have them honor the warranty they gave freely and be decent people and live up the their word.

But I guess this is not the case! We will not go back and tell everyone to run away. I hate doing this but everyone needs to stand by their word and make things right. Its not like this just happened today and I was asking for something way past warranty. This happened right after we bought it and they still wont honor it. Shame on you!

We bought a 2019 Truck from Gene Gorman's Auto Sales. They ( Bob Brent) treated us with helpfulness, knowledge, and he was very Courteous. We would return to buy another vehicle with them if needed. Finance service manager was great.easy Peezy.

Professional staff that made the purchase of my 2014 Toyota Tundra smooth and easy. Honest and fair from the beginning and didn't try to pull any tricks like so many of these other privately owned dealerships do. Brett Moxley and Chris Harmon were both professional and straightforward. A nice cherry on top was the nice young lady who spent about 2.5 hours detailing every inch of the vehicle while I was inside completing the sale.

When I drove my 6 year old truck almost 600 miles to my home I had people asking me if it was "brand new" because it was detailed so immaculately. You can't ask for much more.

I brought four vehicles here. Chris is the best. Prices fair, they don't over sell, or try to up grade you. Willing to work with your situation. About to buy 5th vehicle from them. I recommend them to everyone. Love you guy, keep up the great work. Remember Chris at the Punta gorda store

This dealership is an absolute joke. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could. I bought a 2012 Honda civic, within 3 months of owning this vehicle I already had to have the car in the shop five separate times. It was towed twice and brought it in three times. On the 4th month I brought it in and I still don't have it back. I have to drive 45 minutes out of the way and my wife had to pack up all my kids and follow us in our suv each time.

I asked to be given a different vehicle but the only one they said they could trade would raise my payments and lengthen my payment term. I then asked them to give me my down payment back and I would go somewhere else. Apparently that's against there policy. So I proceeded to ask for them to extend my 90 day warranty, after a week of calling I finally got that.

While all of this is happening I have rental cars they provide but will not help me pay for the rental insurance, I now have 300 dollars gone because I didn't want to not be covered because I can't trust this dealership to take care of me incase I was In an accident. All the while Chris at this location has done absolutely nothing to take care of his costumer that he sold a broken vehicle to.

He must be busy selling more broken cars. The whole time this is happening I am waiting for his general manager to call me back after calling him multiple times. I don't recommend anyone buy a car from here and I hope they go out of business.

Never again will I do business with this place or any of their locations. First location lied to us and we called them out about it, the salesman walked away from us. Said good luck with that. Then we went to other lot, greeted by brandin. He was not the issue but he did fail to tell us when the payments would be due and the insurance requirement.

I would never buy a car from these guys again ever. Keep in mind this car was for my daughter. I have a new car, and this is not the type of service I would except from any dealership

I just purchased a car at the Gene Gormans lot at 3350 Tamiami in Punta Gorda. They really went out of their way to help meet my needs. I came in to this location specifically because my mother of age 75 had went in to purchase a car a few weeks earlier. I did not think she needed a new car seeing her car is in wonderful condition. But she thought she did.

The manager drove her car and was so honest with her. He told her that her car was fine and that she really did not need a new one. I was so impressed that thats where i went for my car. Carlos and the crew are awesome!

Where to begin. We drove down from St Pete only to be greeted by very rude service. Left and ended up getting a pre-approved loan with our bank. When the bank talked to the guy he was yet again very rude and mister know it all. Yet we had a check in hand for the vehicle. We ended up driving down again and closing the deal (do't know why but we did).

Now they come with a 3k 90 day warranty. Keep that in mind. Our A/C went out, our radiator is leaking, the Cam Phaser's are giving out (which will eventually lock the engine if not replace), and the rear air suspension has gone out. we have had the car since January. i have put 5,000 dollars in so far and have another 2 grand to go. This was a 24K vehicle! Anytime we call we basically get/got sorry you're out of your warranty. and when we were still under it the answer was just take it in.

Yeah awesome. I would never use this place again and this piece of junk i am basically remodeling is a constant reminder. I did 8 years in the Army and i thought we took care of our own. Not the case. Buyer beware. I dont think i have ever been so badly treated or been hosed so bad by a company.

We had a great experience here. The sales staff was nice and knowledgeable. They didn't put the hard sell on us. I liked that they helped each other out. Also, the price we agreed upon was the price we got. We didn't end up with a bunch of add-ons at the end. It's farther away from us than a lot of other dealerships, but I would definitely buy another car there. The owners have done a fantastic job of creating a family atmosphere and a feeling of trust.

Needed a car in a hurry, never a good spot to be in. Had heard good things about Gorman's. Checked out website and saw a couple of possibilities, made appointment for next morning. Salesman picked me up and test drive was not a short one as I always check a car at highway speed. On the lot were a couple other options and we took one car to their other two lots to look around. Salesman Steve was patient and friendly.

Even stopped at Micky D's to use wifi and research car. Ended up purchasing that car. The manager, Brandon, was great and I walked away thinking I got the best deal I could. Can't ask for more than that. Overall a pleasant experience at a trying time. Would highly recommend.
