I bought my Kia in Massachusetts and always had great service so I figured I would receive the same great service at Kia on Tamiami Tr. In Ft Myers. Let me just say they are nothing but a total rip off and although I did take my car to them another time ( for minor things and it was fixed ) I recently took my car in for air conditioner and fuel door problem and I was told they needed to do some type of diagnostic on them which was a lot of money ( in my opinion) but I trusted them and said ok.

About an hour later my husband received a call from Shane that the cost to fix the air conditioner was $1700.00 and to fix the door panel on the gas tank door would be $78.00 for the part and $366.00 for the labor. My mouth hit the floor and I told my husband no thanks on the air conditioner but needed the gas door fixed as it was extremely difficult to open when I needed gas.

We went back to the dealership to pay for the diagnostic and part for the gas door and made an appointment to get it fixed. In the meantime a few days later my husband decided to try another place for a quote on both air-conditioner and pump door. He reached out to Automotion in Ft Myers and I'm beyond happy he did as they took my car in and fixed the air conditioner for ( get this ) $52.00 and the gas door ( part $30.00) and labor $40.00! Im all for making a profit but Kia was nothing short of highway robbery in this instance! If you want honesty and integrity I suggest you call Automotion for your next car repairs. I know myself, husband and family will be going there from now on.

Definitely avoid Galeana Kia, all they are interested in is selling you a car at a high profit. Their service department deserves 0 stars. My car came with a misaligned tailgate, when the service manager took it to the body shop manager/foreman who stated "it is a mass produced car and not a Bentley and I am not going to touch it", I contacted Kia America and took it to another dealer who uses an independent body shop.

I updated Galeana service manager Tim about this and his response was "if they do a good job let me know I can send all my cars there". Really great response. He also said the dealership received another car like mine and I asked him are they going to fix it, answer no. I have sent a letter to the CEO of Kia America as well as a letter to the CEO of Kia South Korea about their dealer representatives.

If you are looking to buy a Kia, buy a used car or have your Kia serviced don't waste your time or energy going to Galeana Kia as they only care about taking your money instead go to a reputable dealer of which Galeana Kia is definitely not.

Howard Franklyn is the best! His knowledge, customer service, and kindness is exceptional. His caring attitude towards customers would make any car dealer proud. If you are contemplating purchasing a vehicle, I would highly recommend Howard. You will not find a better salesman and more importantly, a wonderful person!

On a whim I decided to apply for credit online. Fifteen minutes later I received a phone call back from Howard. We spoke about what I was looking for and he told me he would get back to me within the hour. Not even fifteen minutes later I received a call back with a deal. Howard was phenomenal to work with, and made the process so easy. I was in and out of the dealership in 35 minutes. Heather had all the paperwork ready to go.

I would definitely recommend working with Howard and this Kia dealership. My credit is horrible, and they were able to put me in a 2019 Soul with reasonable payments. Howard is the best, and I would recommend him to any one looking for a car.

I purchased a 2022 Kia Forte LXS from this dealership and was very well pleased. Howard and James were the perfect salesmen. When Howard was off James took over and vice versa. Dream team! They kept me updated on every change that happened with the car and was very upfront about everything such as cost which was super important to me! They didn't hide anything but put it all on the table.

Everything was explained in detail and my car was cleaned to perfection. When it seemed the car would come in later than expected they gave me a rental at no charge until my car came in which so happened to be the day after I got the rental. Will def be buying my next car from Galeana Kia in the future!

Howard is the real MVP!Went to cape Kia dealership was treated less than a person and walked out with nothing. Came to Galena Kia and walked out with exactly what we went in for. Howard is awesome! I had my heart set on a KIA Soul but hubs wasn't so sure. We did some chatting with Kieffer our Sales Rep and he assured us that if hubs didn't like the car NO PRESSURE from him. Well, my husband is very impressed with this car! Kieffer is absolutely the best sales rep we have ever dealt with. Let us take our time and when we said YES we were out the door driving our new car in about 1 hour 45 min!

Finance dept is quick and explained everything! The Sales Manager came out to make sure we were happy before we drove off. Follow up is amazing. Kieffer called the night we got the car to ask if all was good.even the next day to double check we were happy.

Recently, had an unfortunate encounter with a fat raccoon. True story. Fat little jerk destroyed the radiator in our Kia Cadenza and a number of other electrical components. Parts shortages took 2 months to get new parts, but Galeana & Jeff from Progressive did their level best to keep us updated. Galeana Kia did an outstanding job with the repairs and when a minor setback occurred, they stepped up and addressed it quickly. Matt in the body shop was very helpful. So, should you ever obliterate your radiator using a raccoon, I highly recommend Galeana Kia.

Bought my 2021 Kia Forte on my birthday, Sep 19, 2021. They treated me as family and although I was only turning 19 they helped me get a good deal, and made the sale possible. Very happy with my purchase and the attention that Howard, the salesman gave us. Very caring and polite, he made sure we got the car that day and ever since then I've had a blast with my new Kia. Definitely recommend! They're the best, also shoutout to the financial person who made it possible for me to afford the car even though my credit is just starting. 5/5 Stars

Every time I've taken my car for service the staff are quick and professional. Our service manager Kelly was a breath of fresh air. She was personable and kept us Updated with time and cost. We were going to walk snd get a bite to eat and she offered a driver to take us to the restaurant. I wasn't aware of this service and it is a nice feature. Hiring Kelly was a positive move because she represents what customer service is supposed to be!

Schedule oil change. Told would be 1.5 to 2 hours max. Over 3 hours now and still waiting. Told they pulled everyone for a staff meeting. Very poor customer service.

This Dealer has lost it's professionalism. My wife and I were looking to purchase our 3rd vehicle from Galleana KIA. This encounter was not the same as our previous. Cold sales people. Unpleasant experience with the sales manager, Rude with attitude. BS deals where the numbers could never add up to promised deal. Using the "bait and switch" quoting a purchase then stating it was for a lease.

Then claiming they would need to get the car from another dealer, but had no intention of finding ANY model car because they were trying to string us along. I don't like liars, I don't like games. A once decedent dealership has turned itself into the nightmare car sales place everyone dreds. Guess that's why it was empty!

The price for an oil change and tire rotation seem to go up every time depending on what advisor gets my car. I went from paying around $40, to today being charged almost $60. Kyle was my advisor this time around, and he wasn't friendly at all. He didn't go over the sheet with me like the advisors would with me in the past and told me everything on my car was fine.

That was odd considering the fact that the last time I came in I was told that my battery would need to be replaced soon. Next time I schedule myself in I've be sure to pick an advisor, so that I don't get stuck Kyle again. If I come back.

Customers of Galeana Kia beware of answering your questionaire about your satisfaction with your buying processing of your automobile! I have purchased at least 5 automobiles and referred others with the same sales agent over the years, because I found him to be honest and of outstanding character and being very knowledgeable about their products and accessories. Well, because I answered one question honestly about my sales agent asking questions?

Why should my agent ask me questions when I came to my agent and knew what I wanted, no questions necessary! our relationship is on the rocks because he was put on the rocks by his management. When my agent should be praised for a dedicated customer returning to the same agent and company to purchase and may I add service and refer, because of the excellent service I received. This is a case of over managing and not looking at the big picture over one stupid question. John Hashek

Experience here was pretty good up until we had the pleasure of speaking to Eddie, one of the finance managers. He was disrespectful and honestly shocked us at how rude he was. We were about to go through with the purchase of a new Kia and he ruined the experience for us completely with how he went about things. We would like to say thank you to Jose who showed us amazing customer service and really cared about what we liked. As for Eddie, work on your people skills sir :

I love my Kia and had such an easy time working out my deal with Galena Kia. I had been working with another dealer in the area and they were telling me that I could only get a used Sorrento for what I was willing to pay monthly. Called Galena and they had me all signed and ready with in 2 days for a 2020.

Horrible sales manager, name is Ben. I was ready to purchase a vehicle for sales. I didn't care what the vehicle was as long as it was $19,500 or less. I have excellent credit and can qualify for all and any factory offers. He did not want to show me vehicles within my price range. He insisted that I pick the vehicle and then we'd try to work out a deal.

He said that is the only way he does business. Well I've been in automotive sales for 10 years, and air-conditioning sales locally for the past 15. In my 25 years of sales I have never seen a sales manager turn down a physical sale for their team. I would assume if Mr. Galeana heard of this, that sales manager would be terminated. There are times to use sales technique on those type of people that don't know what they want or where they want to be.

But then there is also times when a customer knows specifically what they want to spend and you take that signed paperwork for the team. I walked next-door to Galeana Chrysler/Jeep. A hungry and aggressive salesman named Eric found me seven vehicles to choose from within my price range. I picked one out and signed the paperwork. It was that simply.

I am still completely astonished that a sales manager could let an instant guaranteed sale walk out the door in front of his team, absolutely asinine! Horrible example of leadership.

WARNING, WARNING, WARNING. DO NOT PURCHASE A KIA SPORTAGE or any KIA vehicle that has a GDI engine in it. I only have 2700 miles on it and it is going to need a new engine. Read this article! https://www.carcomplaints.com/news/2019/hyundai-kia-engine-fires-class-action-lawsuits.shtml These engines have been defective since 2014 and they hid it from the customer.

These engines will also start an oil fire from a rod that will push itself through the head after the engine fails. I received a letter from kia stating that the engine is defective after I purchased the vehicle. Save yourself a lot of headaches and buy a Honda or something else. Don't let any sales person tell you that Kia has corrected the problem, they HAVE NOT.

I've owned Kias for over 15 years (a 2004 Spectra, 2011 Soul, and just purchased a 2019 Niro). Galeana is an excellent dealership in my experience - from the service side, they are prompt and honest, and even willing to squeeze in emergency appointments (my Soul gave me a check engine light for a misfire in the engine cylinder. at 3:45 PM. The service advisor got me in the door and back on the road by 5 PM, despite not having an appointment and the car needing a new spark plug and wiring). Plus, bonus, they have an excellent free coffee machine and snacks while you wait.

From the sales side, I bought my Niro here. Christopher M was my salesman, he was honest and transparent in the deal, worked with me on price and tradein value, and managed to find a rebate deal that lowered my monthly payment versus the financing I had arranged through my bank (there was a rebate for financing through Kia that, despite a slightly higher APR, saved money due to smaller loan amount). I would gladly recommend him, and the dealership, for a new car purchase.

This place is a joke they messed up my tag they had my regular tag as a temp I went down yesterday cause my tag had expired and I was waiting on the paper well it never came went down to dmv they never had my tag on for my jeep so I had too pay for a whole new tag cause my tag tbey was supposed to tranfer they put it as a temp. Dont buy from them they lie we called and they hung up on my husband normal corporate America screwing the consumer

In November 2018 my Kia 2009 Rio began to need various services, the last of which were estimated to be over $1,000. We owned the Rio for seven years and could tell that it had seen better days. Galeana Kia was the nearest dealer to us in Fort Myers, so we engaged sales consultant Rich K. in a conversation about buying a Kia Soul of more recent vintage.

He quickly located a 2013 Soul + model of the right color in the dealers inventory. It had uncommonly low mileage and appeared to be in very good condition. Once our selection was made, the dealership promptly finalized the purchase transaction. We already had financing arranged with our credit union, so within 48 hours we drove off the lot with a car we really liked. (Sales Department A+) The car came with a 90-day dealer warranty.

As we weren't eligible for the remainder of the power train warranty. About 10 days before the 90 days were up, I noticed that the front end alignment seemed not quite right. I brought it to the service department and they quickly identified that it was indeed out of alignment, and further that something was bent in the front suspension and that repairs to the tune of $1,000 + would be necessary to make it right.

A brief conversation with the Service Manager, Kyle D. and we had a commitment that the repairs would be done at no cost to us. Thereafter a service advisor, Kyle D. took the up the task of having the repairs made, followed up to get them scheduled, and kept us informed at each step in the process. To say that I was pleased doesn't begin to describe how impressed I was by the entire Galeana Kia dealership. I will gladly recommend them both on the sales floor but especially in the service department.
